y'know, I've been seeing a lot more posts talking about how fanfic, specifically, puts characters into boxes and takes away the nuance of them, and while I think that's an important discussion to have, I also find it quite perplexing? Like, these posts seem to come from people who don't even, or maybe very rarely, consume fics in the first place, and I say that because, if you do consume fics semi-regularly, you kind of learn? how to gage what the stories and characterisation are going to be like based on the tags and summary? Sometimes, you do have to step into the fic to figure it out, but it hardly takes very long to realise if it gels with you or not. Idk, it's not anything serious or important, but it does give me... "girl, what were you doing at the devil's sacrament" vibes, you know?

Any general content warnings for bhtf au?

Yes. A normal amount of fnaf warnings, a normal amount of vampire warnings. For someone who doesn't know I elaborate... For vampire stuff, the most obvious ones are blood, hypnosis, bites, and animalistic behaviour. Less obvious - slightly suggestive themes. For fnaf - fnaf's usual violence, dark themes, a drop of gore and murders. The lore is uh. Very dark. I will try to decrease the amount of all of the cruelty but man. People who know, know how hard it will be. But I will tag everything properly so don't worry.

Is there a fic for your au?

No. And currently, I'm not even planning on writing one.

How do I find the story?

For now, we have two comics that are directly connected and one that doesn't have a specific place in the story but is about canonical lore.

No! I answer asks and draw a lot of doodles with bhtf au all the time and 90% of them are canon. You can, yet again, find everything in the tag list linked in the previous question.

Yes, please!! I'm always happy to see fanart and fan writings and literally everything that you do! Just tag me when you post and use a fanart or fanwriting tag for au specifically so I don't miss it!

Can you include my characters in your story?

No, unfortunately, I cannot. The story is already written and I don't have any "space" for background characters either. Maybe it will change but currently, things are like this.

I asked a question with an interaction with my characters and I never got an answer, why?

I don't accept such requests. I'm not ready to spend my time drawing other people's characters for free(if I personally don't want to, of course)

Is there any limit to how many questions I can ask?

No, not at all! You can ask all you want just please make sure your question wasn't answered before. There is a big possibility I will just simply delete it if it was answered beforehand many times. Check the ask tag for it.

What about limitations? Any boundaries?

Please no questions about tickling🧍‍♀️ I got so many of those it already makes me uncomfortable. And for some reason, a lot of people send asks that include violence towards my characters and while I don't really feel uncomfortable with this I just idk what to answer and why are you even doing this lmao

I do draw some kisses and cuddles when I feel like it and you of course can send ideas for cute interactions but in the story we're very far away from it lol.

i wasnt really into farcille at first, mostly i was just impressed an f/f ship managed to be the fandom's no1, basically proving that when two female characters in a mostly male dominated cast are allowed to bond with each others and be their own characters people will latch on to them

mostly though aro touden siblings is still my no1 and even back then i didnt care about shipping because any type of romantic relationship in dunmeshi is less interesting than the potential of political intrigue the worldbuilding set up (yes, even chilchuck's failing marriage is less interesting to me than how living in the dungeon was safer for the orcs than being neighbors to human civilization) (shocking, i know)

anyway theres also the bonus comic about falin inviting marcille to watch daltian clan's opera adaptation and while there is something to say about marcille thinking the humans playing elves doesn't fit her aesthetic (and the difference of societal expectations of dressing up as a different race in dunmeshi universe compared to in ours) all i can think of is that in modern day au where daltian clan has a movie adaptation marcille has a tumblr blog where she posts Hate on the daltian clan movie tag and calling it criticism which it is but also not the place, girl, go to rotten tomatoes for that

falin also has a tumblr and she and marcille had no idea the other is a tumblr user. falin made a post like "just watched daltian clan with my gf i get why shes really obsessed with it now" and marcille, against her better judgement replies to the post like "really sorry that you were misled by your girlfriend like that, you should read the novels instead, it's way better."

laios who sees falin looking shocked at her phone asks whats up and then after receiving the answer says "wow sounds like a real jerk! just block them"

So I have some thoughts about the Elaingate thing and I am letting these thoughts loose. You are free to disagree with my opinions. 

You see instead of banning only certain characters, you could just properly tag submissions and reblogs. It is on the individual to curate their own safe space. When I came to the Acotar tumblr world, I realised that I do not vibe with Eriel or Eriels at all, you know what I did? I filtered the tags and blocked certain blogs that I did not enjoy seeing on my timeline. I created what I wanted to see on my dashboard. To protect myself from seeing things I do not enjoy. 

If you as an admin of an event cannot be bothered to properly tag reblogs, then perhaps you should not be running an event that is supposed to be enjoyed by everyone who loves said character. And from what I have seen from last years event is that you did not tag things properly. It is seriously super duper flooper easy to tag things, heck you can reuse tags that the other person used, because you just have to click on said tags. Mindblowing right? 

It is not even about censorship at this point, it is about how one group of abused/survivors of abuse is above another group. I know my triggers and other people know their triggers as well, I am sorry to say but it is on you to protect yourself and your own peace. If you do not wish to see something, filter the tags you do not wish to see. 

And if you cannot be unbiased and your triggers are too much for you, then again perhaps running an event where creators should be appreciated and uplifted is just not a job for you. 

To be honest if the rule just stated that no abusive things would be accepted or whatever, everyone would be fine and Elaingate would not have happened. And lets all be honest I highly doubt any Tamlains would even post anything for this event, even if they did who cares? because if you have shit tagged as it is supposed to be then you can idk simply ignore it and look at what brings you joy. 

As an event admin, it is on you to tag things and be unbiased to all. But it is clear to me and the majority that you just are not unbiased.

Hey I was wondering if I could get some advice on how to post art online? I really wanna show off my art online but idk how tumblr works, I don't even know the basics of how to tag things. I'm asking you cause you're the only one's I know that would even help with something like this without judgement. ;-;

If it's fanart, you generally tag the source (FX. Danganronpa), character (FX hajime Hinata) and ship if that's applicable. You can see the way I tag things, that's pretty much how most people I know do it. You can also use tags like digital art, artists on Tumblr, etc.

Most people have sa tag for just their art, for people who visit the blog. Mine is 'an art', very popular is 'my art' or '(name) art'. The more tags you use, the more organized the blog is, basically.

You should also tag any upsetting content with tags such as "CW blood" or "nudity". ! important! Don't censor any tags, they need to be properly written so people can avoid them

It's also common to talk in the tags, I do it all the time. It's like using your inside voice. When you reblog (share something onto your blog, encouraged) you can either comment on it directly or in the tags. But watch out, everyone can see tags, so be nice!

Pro tip, if you reblog something and compliment it in the tags or share thoughts on it, odds are the original poster will see them and you might eventually bond with them (more likely if it's a somewhat niche thing, or a smaller artist).

Apparently, a hot take on hive-mind tumblr?

Every time I see a post that equates pro-shipping or difficult, problematic themes in (fan) fiction and books and other stories with actual, real-life SA or whatever the topic is, I automatically assume that the OP lacks critical thinking skills and media literacy, fell for the dangerous Puritan movement that's sort of going on in the US (and other countries, too) right now and is likely 14 y/o (or at least mentally stuck at that age) and simply jumped up on that dangerous bandwagon of wanted censorship.

Also, a little bit of hope dies within me.

I could write a damn essay on why equating the “experiences” of fictional (read it again: fictional aka NON-EXISTENT characters) with the trauma and experiences of real-life people is incredibly harmful and hurtful.

To somehow put the plot of a story on the same level as what actual victims went through under the guise of "omg you write/read something like that, so you must support this" is so disrespectful, on so many levels. To everyone affected.

(for example: in my story, I wrote about a 4 y/o girl that got kidnapped by child-traffickers. Does not mean that I a) condone that shit in any way shape or form in the real world and b) am a kidnapper and/or child trafficker myself...? I don't even know why this needs to be clarified?)

Only because some people don't like something that does!not!actually!harm! a real-life person, doesn't mean that that thing should be forbidden or censored. This is so, so incredibly dangerous. I feel like we have learned nothing from history. How about we just start burning books again? That worked out amazingly in the past and wasn't a catalyst for any big issues at all, right?

Assuming stuff is properly tagged, it's your own responsibility for what you consume online. If you are under 18, this applies too. A lot of authors feel uncomfortable to sharing their work with minors, which is completely fine, and they are in the right to do that. If you still continue to read a story (or in the case of AO3, click "accept" when the warning pops up that a story might include adult themes (graphic description of violence, sex, language, whatever, really): then it is on the minor (or the parents who didn't oversee their child's internet activity). Authors are not their parents or guardians. If minors have unrestricted access to the internet (which I am not sure they should have, at least not when you're 12 or something, but then again: I'm no one's parent), then all you can do is learn by experience. You lie and pretend you're older than you are? You click "understand" and read a story that involves adult themes?

If you do all that, despite the site's warning or the author's warning, then you do not get to complain that the story is intended for people who are older than you, have more media literacy and critical thinking skills to be able to differentiate between fiction and real life or the fact that the story contains adult themes — as it was tagged. WHATEVER adult themes are included.

Trying to censor stuff or illegalize things only because YOU subjectively think they are wrong or immoral or whatever opens the door to a lot of dangerous effects that we, in a civilized society, had to work hard to bounce back from in the past — historically speaking.

Some countries still have major restrictions and censorship of stories, books, and whole websites (that do not harm people) and it was often possible to implement such laws and censorships because it was argued (in the beginning) that it was for the protection of young people or because all porn is inherently bad or stuff like that. Then, it opens the doorway to a lot of other censorship, and then it's too late or very, very hard to reverse.

Idk, there are just so many things wrong with the notion of "anti-shipping" or "I wanna censor shit you read/write because I don't like it/think it's immoral" and, personally, it just rubs me the wrong way.

God, I can already feel people starting a discussion or blocking me or unfollowing me or whatever. And you know what's the beauty of it? You can do that — because we, luckily, have the power and responsibility to be in charge of what content we actively consume online. :)

P.S. I shouldn't have to say this, but obviously (as stated) my take on all of this only applies to fictional characters. Writing SA stories on real, existing people (celebrities or not) is not okay.

As for terms (under the cut);

Misceanimalis/Misce is the general term (Miscecanis is also sometimes used generally, and Misceblr is misce on Tumblr specifically) but any other misce-___ term you see is basically a subset of misce dedicated to a specific creature. So for example miscefelis is for misce who view their misce identity through a cat lens, have traits they feel are specific to cats, or are just misce and also a cat.

An example of the trait-specific thing is if you feel like your nesting, scent, pack dynamics (or lack of) or other behaviors are influenced by that creature.

For example, in cats, only female cats tend to be in groups. Male cats are kicked out once they're old enough to fend for themselves, and while they might find a mate who they try to hang around by or even make friends they see occasionally , they don't really have a "pack" they live with and travel with- that's reserved for female cats.

I don't really see my lack of desire for a communal living situation as dictated by my catboy-ness (could still be connected? I'm unsure), but it is sort of fitting, and could definitely be considered a miscefelis thing.

You don't have to use these more specific tags if you don't want to, and you also don't have to fall under them to tag posts with them- sometimes people will tag as many variations as they can think of for post reach, or tag variations they think might have a similar experience. I feel like the variations and the interaction between them is where therian, kin, and alterhuman stuff comes more into play, because if you're just here for the a/b/o gender and nesting and not much else then you have no real need to look for animal specific variations, because it's not an animal thing for you.

You also have the classic alpha, beta, and omega genders, of course, and things like "mate" (partner), "packmate" (this could be a friend, family, roommate, or qpr depending on the person- but it's just generally someone who's part of your social group and who you consider pack. Most packs live together though, so usually it's safe to assume they live with or near other pack members), and "nest" (used as a word to describe a cozy space with blankets, pillows, possibly stuffed animals or other decorations- can be a blanket fort or reading nook but people usually build these sorts of spaces in or out of their beds).

Then there's coining. Misce has a lot of flag makers and term coiners, and a lot of mogai blogs. I could never go over all of these with you because the whole point is that it's basically endless, but if you're curious you can find coining blogs in the community and look through their posts. People make terms fand flags or sexuality in relation to misce, new suffixes, nontrinary (the misce version of nonbinary, so not alpha beta or omega) gender identities, and even for specific scent types!! If you like hoarding identity words and flags then you can totally do that here, you have a lot to choose from and some people even take requests. I personally don't feel the need to get into all of that though, so while I sometimes reblog cool flags or terms I don't really pay attention to them or claim any for myself. I just use miscefelis and omega, and maybe omega 4 beta if I'm talking about mate preferences (not that it matters since I'm already taken lol).

I'm sure there are more lifestyle elements you could incorporate (some people make diy scent holder jewelry or similar, for example- I just use perfume lol), but my personal experience is mainly nesting, purring and being catboy, and just having an omega gender identity, so there are probably blogs that could tell you way more ideas on how to do more action/behavior oriented things. I just vibe.

Hey! Yeah, I have a few tips I can share! This is gonna be long so beware!

I keep seeing this sentiment reiterated about larger creators. I get it, but I think everyone's missing one thing in regards to it: you already have access to the same audience they have. Just like you they grew their platform. Maybe it was a stroke of luck from a viral post or something, but they still had to start somewhere. What it takes is getting your content to hit the algorithm. That's all! So even if a larger creator never looks your way, you can still grow and curate an audience without their help. Small accounts are what make up big accounts after all.

You NEED good SEO. I'll talk about TikTok specifically. If you want a boost in visibility then get on Tik Tok. Properly tagging your content is the key to working the algorithm in your favor. I think people believe the more tags the better. No. The more accurately tagged, the better. The hashtags "TS4", "The Sims", and "The Sims 4" are always trending. You should always use those tags. The rest depends on the kind of content you're posting. I'll use my most viral video as an example. My Stormveil Chateau post on Tik Tok got 141.6K views, 22.3K likes. Since it was for a maxis match build I used the following tags: #thesims4 #sims4 #ts4 #simstok #ts4cc #fyp #sim #sims4tok #sims4maxismatch #sims4build #sims4builds #ts4build #ts4gameplay. Most of the tags are related to TS4 and TS4 builds. I wouldn't include anything about CAS, mods, etc. It wouldn't fit the post. Don't flood other tags in hopes of getting more views. It'll just bury your post under a bunch of random content. People have to be able to find your content.

Visually appealing content performs better, period. Y'all give the aesthetic girls hell but they know a thing or two about working the algorithm. I'll give them that! People like things that look nice. Now, that's not to say you need to purge all the color or character from your game. You don't have to follow a certain style trend. Curate your own personal style. Do what you do to the best of your ability. Whatever you post, just make sure it's good quality. Focus on sharpness, clarity, etc. If you wanna curate a particular look then go for it! But most importantly, having clear clean images or videos is the main thing you need. And you don't need a beast of a PC to do it. Sharpen your images and videos before you upload them using Capcut or something. Make sure the lighting is nice. Make sure it's a good resolution for the platform you're posting on. A quick tip: Adding dof to lower quality images makes it look better! See how the left photo looks more clear than the right? A little bit of depth of field helps so the pictures don't fall flat.

Pick a primary social to promote your secondary ones. Usually your primary social may be the one where you have your largest audience. For me, it was Tik Tok. On there I'd promote my Patreon, YouTube, and Tumblr. You just released some cc? Post something about it on Tik Tok, let your audience know they can find it on your Tumblr. Use one to promote the others.

Slow organic growth is STILL growth. Growing your audience is one beast, but maintaining it is a whole other thing. As someone who has gotten shout outs from larger creators, that initial boost ALWAYS dies down. And socials like YouTube will not hesitate to tell you "Hey boo, your shit's failing now. You kinda suck." Been there, felt that. Boosts from other creators and giveaways don't have much longevity. Most times that audience will leave. On occasion you may get a few who stick around, but most won't. That's why it's important to build your audience organically. Yes, it may take longer but they won't just dip out after a few weeks. Things take time to grow. Things take time to curate. Understand you are BUILDING something. It takes time!

And lastly- if you just really want the numbers and it doesn't matter what content you post, then here's what you do: Sell. Still use good SEO, still try to have high quality photos, but give people something to consume. People like to see what they can get. Post some builds, cc, whatever. If you're not a cc creator, then do cc finds, mod reviews, tutorials, build recommendations, lookbooks. People love a good cc haul. They wanna see what they can get. And that's not to say people that make this sort of content don't care about their content. I know they do and it's a lot of work! It still takes time and effort to curate. It's just HOT right now! Especially maxis match content. It ruffles less feathers because a wide array of the Sims community has a vicious vendetta against alpha cc. (Yeah ion know. They will "uncanny valley" and "just play IMVU' you to death. If I say what I think it is.. My people know.) But if you really just want thousands of followers, then there's a way to do it.

With all that said, I know how annoying it is to constantly hear to not focus on numbers but don't. CREATE FOR CREATION'S SAKE. Do it only because you enjoy it. Growth for me has come as a byproduct of me doing whatever the hell I wanted. I make Lykaia because I want to make Lykaia. I love that people love it but it is for me. Not to be an influencer, or to inspire, or to receive praise and accolades. I love everything about the process. Hell, I love the stress that comes with it! I have four scenes to film and I'm still not done editing the ones I have filmed. The episode is supposed to air on MONDAY. I fucking love working down to wire. It's stressful as hell but it feels good! If it's out there, the audience will soon follow. Always. Take your time. Be grateful for where you're at every step of the way. Enjoy the process! And remember that all it takes is one post to take off.

Idk why in the world you’ve got people investing their finite existence on this good Earth giving you grief. God, remember BEFORE AO3? Remember FFN when half the time, the PAIRING wasn't even properly tagged bc you could only tag two characters at all, so people would by default just tag the most popular characters to appear in the story? And instead of tags, you had genres, so you had to decide if you wanted romance/hurt/comfort or friendship/tragedy or what? (I'm a certified Fandom Old- on my old account I was in the first 10,000 users on AO3).

Yeah, people really are missing the point of this game- and it's no coincidence most of these folks are younger. (And a lot are exclus too; I've seen them get angry at the BG3 characters being canonically pan, saying that "pansexuality is a made-up Tumblr sexuality). So... totally blind to the interwoven history of queerness and kink. Not surprising.

ST OCs jumpscare

Fun fact: I have a few OCs, though none of them really participate in the Skibidi war, they're all in the Second Faction, which deal with even worse things.

Second Faction is the other half of the Resistance, in which they fight off a different war from entities.

Antonio: He is a cannibalistic cameraman that has restrained his urges for a long time. He is friends with Sammy and Baven, his brother being Alhonzo, and his partner being Hank. Others have reported to the facility that they've seen him with his face broken horizontally, which made him look like he had a mouth, but the facility never did anything, and Antonio keeps brushing it off as the witness seeing things.

Alhonzo: He is the brother of Antonio, and doesn't really have any connection with the others. He's a rather chill guy, but he would actively fist fight any large entity if he wanted to.

Hank: Despite having his body literally half-dissolved from an acid incident, he is a rather healthy cameraman and is in a healthy relationship with Antonio. Hank does keep forgetting that he is technically missing a hand.

Baven: He is a rather non-verbal TV man who is friends with Antonio, Hank, Sammy, and Ibi. He usually uses his screen to communicate, but rarely does so, mostly doing head motions or other gestures. He helped Ibi get accepted in the facility as Ibi is considered an "entity"

Ibi: They were once alive, but they died to a gunshot wound behind their head. A defective parasite took the body and used it as a host, but due to being unable to function properly, he's now basically a zombie. Ibi only really responds in screeches and noises, but he does understand people.

Sammy: he was pushed away from most areas due to his odd behavior ever since the Bijaw incident, but he was still accepted by Antonio, Hank, Baven, and even Ibi. He's a really nice guy, he just manages to find himself in some times being in a very hyper-manic state when alone.

Anyways yeah, those are my OCs. I might do a QnA thing? Idk, I might make a specific tag for it. (I'm fairly new to Tumblr actually, I'm still getting used to it 😭)

What’s your most unpopular DN opinion? (It can be about canon, fanon the fandom)

This is a hard to answer question for me because I don't know that I have many unpopular opinions, or any at all?! So I'm just going to ramble a little bit at you. I hope this is the quality content you were looking for.

I am FAR from confident that my own characterization of Light and L is right, but I sometimes feel like my view of them is an unpopular one because I see different sides of fandom taking certain traits and pulling in totally different directions - Light is either dramatic with a hair-trigger temperament and ready for Violence OR he is very soft and fluffy. (Or, he is either constantly openly and shamelessly putting women down or actually a #feminist.) Same thing with L. L is very soft and gentle and full of angsty feelings, or (and I think the following is a view that some people have adopted as a rejection to the Uwu L ™ characterization that was king in the early days of the fandom, sjsksjd) he is a confident asshole with almost no consideration towards other people beyond what is useful to him to be able to solve a case.

But then of course I know this is a bit like saying nothing because all fandoms will do this to their blorbos, and all characters are more complex than you'd think from a cursory search through their Tumblr tag. I was discussing this with a beloved friend and she illuminated me by mentioning that fandom... just loves Drama and Heightened Feelings... People consume the source material and want more Feels out of it (especially media like Death Note, I'd imagine, which really doesn't spend more time than necessary dwelling on anyone's feelings) and so they take... Light having a yelling fit and make it a very prominent trait of his personality. Or L having a soft moment and fill him with soft feelings that are coming out all the time. Which is a reasonable instinct to have! even though I think the interesting part of those moments in canon is precisely the fact that they are extraordinary in some way.

So I AM saying nothing and this does happen in every fandom, and contrary to what that cursory search through any fandom tag would tell you, a lot of people certainly treat the characters with subtlety and pay careful attention to all of their dimensions. I mean, evidently, most people do it much better than I could ever hope to do!! (In my defense I have to say that if I stress myself out with writing Light and L properly in-character I will drive myself insane, so not doing it is Self Care for me). But, ah! hopefully this is still some sort of answer, anon!

The L thing bothers me more, because he is my beloved boy and because I think people insist a bit too much on the view of him as confident asshole who doesn't give a fuck. Cleverer people than me have discussed this, particularly in the Lawlight server in which I am, but L does in fact Give Some Fucks. I'm noticing it more now that I'm rereading the manga! A lot of soft little L moments are making me sort of understand why people back in the early fandom days really ran with that Soft Uwu L interpretation haha. It's not remotely accurate to reduce him to those traits! but it's not accurate either to reduce him to the opposite ones?

And I feel like the same phenomenon happens with Lawlight, My Beloved Ship. Sometimes it feels like, if people don't portray them as a very soft and fluffy couple, they can portray them as a couple that would be so toxic and unhealthy that they couldn't have a normal, loving relationship without mind games and manipulation always running through the undercurrent of it. Idk we all know these boys are crazy insane but I don't think they'd be quite THAT toxic!!

Rereading the manga has made me have the realization once again that (I think) L and Light honestly just fit together very well, and don't hate each other with nearly as much venom and intensity as one might think, and there's a lot of common interests and genuine mutual appreciation and fun in their relationship. Particularly in a no notebook AU where there'd be no need for 70% of their mind games of course lol, but it's also there just, like, canonically.

Over the past two months or so my tumblr usage has shifted: for a lot of years now it was something I scrolled through on and off almost entirely as a lurker, reblogging stuff sometimes but only truly Posting a single-digit number of times per annum, if that. But suddenly I'm using it more often and mostly actually saying stuff when I'm on here, whether that's just adding silly little tag comments to things or writing actual posts about stuff that's on my mind or even sometimes, like, talking to people, which is not usually something I'm naturally inclined to do (even in low-stakes online spaces) unless I'm basically forced to. Not like a ton, but some--I haven't really done the socializing online thing since I was around 15, we're talking like 2007-era Invisionfree and ProBoards forums, and dipping my toe into it again here in small ways has felt Right to me, I didn't really notice how much I missed existing online until recently. (Man this post is getting weird maybe idk.)

I say this happened suddenly, but I wouldn't say mysteriously, I'm pretty sure I know the proximate cause: I started keeping a daily personal diary in January as a new year resolution and this unexpectedly became a habit I not only kept up(!), but enjoyed, and it seems to have unclogged some part of my brain that craves self-expression in the written word. This impulse has spilled over into the way I use tumblr in that I am having more thoughts that are paragraph-shaped but not necessarily diary entry-shaped and this blog seems like the natural place to decant them. I guess the diary also lessened the aversion of "what if I put effort into writing a post but nobody interacts with it", because I'm already producing a bunch of words that nobody is interacting with or even allowed to look at so what does a few more matter? (I guess the B-plot of this post is that keeping a diary can be a positive experience and I encourage anyone who's ever felt curious about that to give it a try.)

Anyway. All I'm leading up to here is: I'm going to be really fucking sad if tumblr dies in the near-future. I didn't properly keep up with the stuff about the CEO being crazy or whatever because that's the sort of news story I deliberately avoid keeping up with, but it seems to have cast a shadow of uncertainty about the site's future for at least some people (I mean like more so than has been the norm across tumblr's history) and to whatever extent this is not baseless scaremongering: man, what! I was literally just getting comfy! I mean if they kill this place I'll obviously have less claim to grief than the people who have invested lots of time and energy into it for years, but, idk, I'll be pissed off in a very particular and sad and sore way is what I'm trying to say.

As a jkkr, I often wonder why tkk is such a popular ship. Like, here on tumblr, the Jikook tag only has 3,000 more followers than the taekook tag. 33k people REALLY ship tkk? And there's definitely wayyy more since, obviously, not everyone in the fandom uses tumblr. But yeah, I find this absolutely bizzare. Why do you think the ship is so popular? I genuinely can't think of any good reasons. Would love to hear your thoughts, though.

At least Raxistaicho is somewhat aware of Tumblr tag culture since he got major backlash when he decided to post his Engage playthrough untagged (I think people sent him anons to tag his shit properly at first, then proceeded to send him spoilers after he made fun of that and then he got upset and cried about having to close anons because people send him spoilers). Note that even after that, he still didn’t tag his shit properly, probably out of spite. Idk, seems on-brand for him.

Anyway, what I’m saying is: at this point, there have been more than enough incidents for those people to become aware of Tumblr tag culture. At this point, it’s not so much unawareness as it is blatant ignorance, spite and, dare I say it, Social Media Colonialism.

I dunno if I’d go so far as to compare it to colonialism but yeah you do make a good point. I remember when Engage came out he was spamming the tag with spoilers and he had numerous anons and commenters explain tagging to him. Which eventually escalated into spamming his inbox with spoilers (I guess to demonstrate how annoying it is to keep running into spoilers for something you want to y’know actually enjoy?) when his response was basically like “fuck you I can do whatever I want”, so he definitely knows. He just doesn’t care.

ETA: I’m pretty sure someone on the Edelgard discord (who actually uses tumblr) also explained tagging and blocking to him so yeah he definitely does not have any excuses.
