"We do the old fire and ice trick, all right? If it's truly a demon my flames won't scare it, but I can draw enough attention to me for you to sneak up and freeze him." And then they'll think of a next step.

childhood au

so i'll try to reconstruct what Ralphies life as a kid was

a few facts from the game that we know:

* is younger than Nicky ( if Nicky is about 28/27 i imagine Ralph to be about 25/24 ) meaning that if Nicky immigrated w his relatives as a young child Ralph was probably already born in the US.( this could be the reason why in ch.1 he talks about being a real newyorker and makes fun of mc about it)

* Was abused (probably for the entirety of his childhood) by his alcoholic mother

* His father left him ( he says :" he went to get a pack pf smokes one day and never came back" this gives me the feeling that he would be at least 5/6+ years when that happened.

* Got into street fights and probably lost since once again he says " beat me up as bad as the boys" meaning that he was THE VICTIM HELLOO??

* there is also a small dialogue in ch.1 where it's mentioned that he always skipped school and probs stopped going there pretty early

* it's obvious that he lived in some gutter idk how to rephrase this

* was always close to nicky from the early childhood " we were the closest"

* one memory that Nicky narrates to us is making paper boats for Ralph and letting them sail on rainy days

* in spite of this we are told that Nicky never showed Ralph much affection, for example when Nicky is being sweet to mc he replies with "i've never seen him act like this"

* and in another line he says " i don't need nobody to stick their neck out for me" so yeah, he's been left alone and neglected for a while

Actual Childhood

i will compare Ralph with Nicky throughout this whole text and make a point about being very different.

1. His relationship with his mother

As long as Nicky had part of a more loving(normal) mom, Ralph clearly was less lucky. Literally being on his own with an alcoholic. Which resulted in him feeling unloved and running from home and getting into gang stuff. By always being belittled and beat by his parent, this usually results with the person later in life having big problems with aggression, this explaining why he likes being a criminal and jokes about others dying( this being a possibility to release all that anger from his childhood).

At the same time another prominent characteristic of his is the thing where he always does what he's told. We see this when he says that "Nicky taught him this and that" and also in that scene where he & Floyd sign documents. And there Ralph was right about not wanting to sign the deed to the speakeasy, but under Floyds pressure he literally breaks in less than a second. I explained this behaviour not by being simply " weak of spirit" or simply a loser, but the desire for approval, recognition and literally being patted on the shoulder for doing good. Since he's never been shown any kind of affection, he desperately tries to subconsciously earn it.

I think i should also add that by Freud( hate on me but this guy made a few good points) a mans relationship with his partner corelates with his relationship with his mother ( vice versa for women), so it makes sense why Nicky - with a loving mom found his soulmate, and Ralph didn't. ( i assume that he never had a long term relationship ). ( this is my personal theory)

3. His relationship with Nicky

now this one is just a continuation of point 1.

I've always felt some part of jealousy for Nicky. Maybe he got into crime because he always wanted to be like Nicky and even talked about living in Nicky's mansion after he takes his role. Im sure that he love's Nicky and feels bad for betraying him, but i understand why he'd do that. Maybe he tried to subconsciously prove to himself that he can make his own decisions but that turned out... well... bad.

But i imagine them both having a really good relationship, good un their own way.

And that point where they both mentioned that Nicky tried to prevent Ralph from joining the mafia, if i put myself in his shoes i would take that not as a way to keep me safe but a way to keep me from succeeding or always remaining in Nicky's shadow.

okay now for the actual actual childhood headcanons

* I feel like Ralph would be actually a pretty smart child. Besides being curious i feel that he'd say smart,correct and deep thoughts and not even realise that.

* He'd still have problems spelling and understanding basic math:/

* lived admiring rich people on the covers of magazines or in the movies

* was pretty much of a loner as a child and didn't have many friend except Nicky

* while Nicky was the lively, active and charismatic one, Ralphie would be the quiet kid until 12/13 yrs

* that meaning that he would usually be made fun of or beaten by older kids

* i don't think he'd fight back much, not with bare hands at least

* in general i think he'd despise actual fights, more of a gun/knife guy

* disliked Nicky's dog, or any four legged animal ( doesn't hate them but doesn't love either)

* birds on the other hand

* they always gave him hope and the desire to just be free and escape his home and everyone he knew. the same with sailing, loved the idea of just leaving alone into the open ocean

* irrational fear of death

* if there is a living creature that he loves more that birds it would be butterflies

* but no one knows that since he's embarrassed to admit it

* would create many problems as a child

* starting with the basic running from school up to setting someones hair on fire with a lighter

* mentioning the lighter, tried smoking at about 14 but nearly choked to death because of his asthma

* and because of asthma i think there would be multiple times where he almost died

* as a kid probably lived near a garage and spent most of his free time watching men repairing cars

* car obsession phase

* even started drawing them at some point and got pretty good at mechanical drawings

* dreamed of becoming a racer

* once told that to a girl he liked in like grade 4 and almost died of pride when she applauded him for his ambitions

* and his ambitions were always high

* the second he'd see or hear about something grand or fancy he'd add it to his mental list of wishes

* made friends with some local old guy who was very sarcastic and nihilistic and literally based his personality on that

* would have to get around life on his own and by that i mean that he sew his own clothes, made his own food, when he got lost -spent hours walking around new york until he found his street without asking anyone for directions

* at some point picked up smoking because even though at first it was death threatening

* at about 16/17 totally found himself in the "wiseguy" persona and at this point there wasn't a returning point

* had a couple of girlfriends but dated them for a month at best

He regrets ever picking you for the exchange program. Because of you his life is ruined. He never planned to share Lucifer with anybody romantically.

Then one day he asked to talk. He confessed he was in love.

With you.

Diavolo cried himself to sleep that night. As he remembered his friends smiling face. Of course he congratulated him and gave him advice while Barbatos prepared a special blend of tea.

He always thought he'd have Lucifer body and soul forever.

He should have never let you come here. You have the brothers in shambles, bowing to your every command.

You have all of them wrapped around your little finger and you don't even realize it. Out of all seven you had to pick Lucifer.

He was always supposed to be his Lucifer. His fallen Morning Star with eyes that shone like fire. Skin as pale as snow, with hair as black and shiny as ink. His Lucifer only belonged to him in name only. He was so beautiful, he deserved better than to be your plaything. Lucifer deserved a Queen's status, he belonged on the throne working with Diavolo side by side.

You see this needed to be revised immediately, that's why he killed you. It was to easy really, wait until you got back to the human world, slip some poison into your water systems, and make sure his Lucy was busy with work all day and night.

Why don't I take your D.D.D Lucifer, it will just distract you. The faster you finish your work the faster you can talk to MC. I'm sure she misses you.

He had to be discrete, if lucifer found out all his love would vanish, so not even you could know your killer. He sent you letter often and texted you, played the nice guy, the supportive friend. Now you were far away in the Celestial realm, forbidden from dating the Morning Star based on your angel status. Of course secretly delivered by Barbatos to Micheal.

Then I gave him my brightest smile and shoved more paperwork into his arms, the arms that should be wrapped around him.

He saved Lilith, he gave him work, a place for him and his brothers to stay. Lucifer should be his, and now he will be, now that your out of the way. Watching from the Celestial realm as your boyfriend cries into his shoulder. His hair loose and his school uniform buttons undone, Diavolo could fell his heart beating.

You were gone, Lucifer was his once more.

The cost well the boys will get over it soon enough, they don't even know who killed you. After all you were a good friend to everyone, his tears were real.

He really would miss you, but you crossed the line when you took Lucifer from him. Maybe he'll come and visit you when Lucifer is wearing his ring. When its safe for his heart to never fell that way about you again.

Diavolo hugged his friend and soothed his heaving sobs.

You see Lucifer loves me , he doesn't hide anything from me. Look at him falling apart on my shoulder, the all mighty Morning Star, reduced to tears and a shadow of himself.

"Diavolo" he whispered

"Yes my Lovely?"

" Does Barb know who killed her?"

He sounded cool, and broken. He sounded like a man who just had his heart shattered.

"An unfortunate accident. Her poison garden had a broken pipe, the poison seeped into the ground into her drinking supply." He sounded mournful as he spoke.

" You know how found she was with her deadly garden Lucifer, that's why she got on with Satan so well, always hungry for information."

Lucifer chocked back a sob.

He told you your obsession would kill you one day, and now look at you. Stuck under his Father's thumb in the blinding white of his old home. At least he could rely on Simeon to keep you safe.

For the first time in his millennia old life Lucifer regretted his fall.

At his back Diavolo smiled, finally mine he thought, finally finally mine.

"This is where you live dearest?" he said. Looking at you in wonder. A small cottage greeted him with flowers blooming around metal gates. A green house in the backyard, filled to brimming with toxic and deadly plants.

he stared at you as you put on little green leather gloves and pointed at every plant, the poison it obtained and what it could do it a humans system. You showed him leaf patterns and squeezed a pokeberry and watched the seeds spill out, showing him the poison as red as blood inside.

"Isn't it wonderful" you asked. You gazed into his eyes, yours were filled with an almost child like wonder as you gazed around your garden. For once you had almost rivaled your boyfriend in Pride. He could practically see the peacock feathers sprouting from your back.

" I just want you to look upon the true irony of your current situation." She smiles as Lucifer plucks a Manchieel apple from the tree and bit down.

"I love you Lucifer" Then she looked up at me threw her long beautiful lashes. I felt the blush  creep up my cheeks as my hand rose to meet my chest.

"I love you to MC"

I kissed her then, her lips were full and warm and she was alive. We kissed by the dying sunset, I pulled her flush aganist my chest and she wrapped her arms around my neck.

I remember the feeling of utter happiness as I help her aganist me. It was like a tight spring loaded in my heart.

I love you MC, I will always love you.

Lucifer's tears slowly drew to a close as Diavolo hugger him closer. You were always so  reckless, always attracted to things that could kill you whether it be plants or your choice of boyfriend. You never had a sense of self preservation, its how you two originally gotten closer.

After he realized Mammon was a horrible human babysitter he slowly faded into the role. Then after your true heritae was revealed, he couldn't stop himself from falling in love with you.

Ha look where that got him. Youe dead and his heart is shattered on the ground.

Even after all those pacts you still went to Celestial, even though your a desecandt of the angel my Father wanted elimanited.

Maybe this is a new tourment from my Father after all, he took away Lilith, and now you.

My darling little MC.

Lucifer was sure his heart would never be put back together again.

He missed your warm touches. Your random notes on his mountains of paperwork, little encouragments and silly heart on sticky notes.

He saved them all.

You come in with snacks or drinks in the dead of night just to remind him to eat.

"How could you possibly love  a demon, I'm a failure. A fallen angel." He looked downcast.

You confessed your love fo rthe first time that night. Heart shapped pancakes, on his desk after a particularly long meeting. At the time his first thought was "Beel didn't see these, how odd."

" I love you in spite of that. Lucifer you work hard, you sacrificed your  freedom for your family. You work like a slave to because of it. Your so strong. You saved your brother from the dungeon, and bore the burden of greif all these years." YOu looked at him admiration and a touch of saddness.

"'I love you because no matter what you come to face, you better yourself with it." his pride swelled, he took in your flushed face, your sparkling eyes, and your soft hair. He loved you for so long. He pulled you close and kissed away your tears.

Then you fed each other pancakes.

He didn't do any work that night.

The brothers made you a memorial behdn the House of Lamentation. Filled to the brim with roses spelled healthy, and pictures upon pictures from your Devilgram account. Soft teddy bears and the controller you used most when playing with Levi, a tube of your lipstick you accidentally left behind.

Lucifer went their that night, he sat in frount of you and cried himself to sleep. It was almost like losing Lilith all over again.

You were the one to comfort him when you felt like this. When he lost the battle of the darkness inside his heart, but you were gone, and nobody else dared approach him. He felt your absence in the very core of his being, he missed your hands grazing his horns or preening his wings.

" Their like clouds! So fluffy!"

" They were made from clouds dearest" He smiled at you and pulled you onto his lap."

" I miss you MC, my dearest one." A few tears dropped onto your tombstone. He rested his head agaist your picture.

" Lucifer" a soft voice whispered, hiding in the shadows.

"Simeon" Lucifer looked up and saw his friend under the tree. He looked forlorn and...was that dread?

" We need to talk... I have  a message from....her"

Lucifer sat up and gracefully walkes towards him. His uniform is covered in mud and he was an indent from your memorial but, he still looked prideful. Even if he didn't feel anything at all.

Simeon looked at him in a pitiful manner.

" She loves you Lucifer, and it wasn't an accident. She said she saw Barbatos, and the cop who was investagating, he was a demon who tried to eat her once. When she was with Satan at the library.

She says he lended over and checked her pulse after she drank the water. He said he was sorry, on all accounts."

Lucifer couldn't speak, he was falling once more in a pit of rage and despair.

" Are you sure?" disbelief coated his voice as he looked upon his best friend and companion.

" She's a mess about it, Barb came over and-" Simeon shuddered. "She's being peppered with questions about everythibg from Micheal, she saw a few of her deceased pets and started crying, she won't leave them be" he chuckled slightly.

Lucifer felt a stab of betrayal, but he also felt a sense of purpose.

"Thank you Simeon" he said cooly, buttoning up his unofrm, tying his belt, fixing his medals."Give MC my love from now until the end of eternity." Lucifer walked cooly back to your memorial. He touched your smiling face and took out his D.D.D.

He shut off his phone and walked back into the house.

" Your so strong Lucifer."

"Your so beautiful"

" You'll always be my angel."

" I love you, and I'll always love you."

Lucifer stared at his brothers' gathered in he dining hall. He tuned out their questions and held up his hand.

He stood up the chair moving soundlessely on the carpet.

He placed his hand over the R.A.D badge, then he ripped it off. The stitches popping and metals clanging on the table.

He threw it to the floor.

"Who here wants to start a rebellion."

I find it a little funny but atmwk was actually inspired by the lion king, and I think you can spot the slight similarities with this information now 😅 but it wasn’t just the movie, a number of my stories is inspired by pieces of music and atmwk’s was karl jenkin’s adiemus (a truly stunning piece by the way, do yourself a favor and listen to it 😤). so, yeah, that song set the atmosphere I wanted to base that world on. 

the song also inspired spiriters’ powers! listening to that song made me imagine a group of people whose singing did magic, kinda like sirens, just not evil. at first, everyone was meant to be a spiriter, but then I thought of the name ‘rainmaker’ and really wanted to use it so I went ahead and divided everyone into three tribes with three different powers. though I must say, night souls are my favorite 🤸🏻‍♀️ 

the idea for light guardians came when I didn’t know how to make jisung and mc’s separation a significant event. the original idea was for them to be heirs of some sort, but I didn’t want to make them royals because I have too many royal aus and also because I couldn’t fit that with the whole three tribes thing. this where the underlying metaphor in atmwk came into play. 

it’s all behind the scenes, so it probably only matters to me 😅 but darkness represents being lost, unaware, or ignorant. light is the opposite (it’s a recurring theme in various stories like frankenstein actually 👀 whenever dr. frankentsein learns something or a truth would be revealed, a flash of lighting would light the night sky! that was another source of inspiration) mc and jisung protecting day served as an interesting power, but it was also an allegory. so was the fire! fire in itself is light, but it can be dangerous too. this hasn’t been revealed, but it’s canon in my notebook :P in the atmwk universe, there are other tribes that once lived together in harmony. they had different powers, more than the three in the fic, and the fire was a symbol of knowledge between them all.

but as I said, fire can be dangerous, and that’s what happened when someone became too immersed in the fire’s knowledge that it led them to delirium. the people divided into two, those who thought the fire’s knowledge must be hidden, and those who thought otherwise. atmwk takes place many years after that division, focusing on the people who oppose the knowledge of the fire. this is why characters like chan and changbin earned their infamous reputation. there is a reason they were obsessed with the fire, much like how dr. frankenstein wanted to learn the secret of life! 

it sounds pretty dumb now that I put it into text but yeah, this is all in my notes as background information. I wish I could’ve expanded more on that through atmwk but it was meant to be a very short story and such details would’ve erased more than half of the story’s enigmatic nature. although, the idea I had for a night soul hyunjin spin-off revolved around the other side, those who embraced the fire’s knowledge. 

anyway, I don’t know what I just rambled on about for 30 minutes but I hope this was mildly intriguing 🥴

I have an absolute ton of cephalopods that I wanted to put in but wasn’t able to! Like the mimic octopus, or dumbo octopus, or cuttlefish? I love them all so much but I just couldn’t find a place for them. ALSO SEA OTTERS. I really wanted sea otters. :c That said, a few of my favourite sea creatures I was able to base sirens off of! Like the firefly squid, a speckled flying fish, a leafy sea dragon, several betta fish, and a sailfish!

I think Dione fits both the first and second question! She definitely keeps a whole lotta secrets, and mostly because one: she’s scared of what will happen if the truth gets out, and two: she’s protecting others from the truth! The reason she’s OP? She’s just. A heckin’ powerful three centuries old sea witch.

And Xuân’s favourite snack is munching on dried nori! I personally love this salty snack so much and if I can get my hands on it, it’ll disappear in less than a minute.

Ohh!! I have a bunch of strong associations but a lot of them are spoilers, because I LOVE foreshadowing through symbolism! Let’s just say... storms play an important role for Celestine~

Favourite weather conditions! Celestine: Dry as a desert - Dione: Gentle snow - Caelin: Light rain that he can run around in - Phoenix: Clear night, somewhat cool, perfect for a bonfire

And original inspiration? I mean... I was obsessed with pirate and adventure stories for a while there... PoTC, Our Bloody Pearl, Treasure Planet? Plus then there was all the ocean stuff I was doing in biology at the time. ^^

And I have CIRCUIT and The Mirror’s Rifts that I’m also working on!

Celestine’s major flaw is her inability to trust people! And Dione’s flaws, her selfishness, is the one that causes the most problems throughout the story!

alfkjsldgkjsdg I love this trope. I don’t think it pops up in OSS? But it does in CIRCUIT! But if Celestine had a doppelgänger: she would likely convince everyone it’s her by insulting people with the unique insult-nicknames she has for everyone. XD For example: she only ever calls Phoenix “idiot”! Poor Nixi. And Celestine’s favourite dish of all time is PANCAKES.

My first attempt at a major novel that actually got anywhere was Soul Tied! It was about shapeshifters and dragons and the chosen one trope, but with twins! Mainly, I never really had an idea of where the story was going to go, and my outlining skills sucked at that stage.

After confirming the strategy together with Mo Yi, I agreed to He Kunpeng's invitation.

I had originally intended to use facts, to let her see her "boyfriend" in his true colors. But her reactions had been beyond my expectations.

I did my best to arrange my facial muscles in a way that would make my smile appear more happier and sincere.

I moved the chair I was seated on, backwards, turning towards the transparent kitchens to look at Mo Yi, who had his head down, probably working on making Sweets.

MC: (So his "Change of Identity" was to disguise himself as one of the Pâtissiers in the shop.)

Being able to see Mo Yi just by looking up made me feel a little more at ease deep down.

MC: (Come on, I can do this! Bear with it a little more, me! This is all to help someone who's a victim of PUA! Think of Lin Yunyun! You can do this, me!)

He Kunpeng: Why the sigh?

Even though I had already guessed the answer to his question a long time ago, it still felt slimy and awkward hearing it coming from him in person.

I covered my face with my hands, pretending to weep tears of joy as I got out of my seat and made my speedy escape.

His chilly attitude shocked the Pastry Chef, for he still remembered the gentle expression the young man had on his face when he entered the baking kitchens.

Pâtissier: Do you know the girl outside?

Mo Yi didn't speak, only nodding.

Pâtissier: You should never, ever let that guy, He Kunpeng, take her away. He always hits on young girls.

I walked out of the Dessert Shop's toilet through the nearby Fire Exit, taking a deep breath of the fresh air outside.

- Hawks ; He may not be the safest but he knows how to carry on one sided conversations and with precise movements and speed he could take out any villain on his own without me having to worry about hiding to the nearest pole.

- Midoriya : His Quick wit and Adaptable Analysis Skills could come in Handy in Making On the spot Strategies since he always seems to look at things in a logical and rationally beneficial way.

- Bakugou : The Kid is a menace and he is made to be an aggressor so when it comes to face to face combat Having a spontaneous yet calculative Bakugou to sweep the floor clean and be the Main front liner wouldn't be a Bad Idea. He knows how a fight works and he is very resourceful with his moved and paired with his sharp mind he'd definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

- Todoroki - He is excellent at being an object of distraction and destruction. Having the enemies frozen in place is helpful in most situations and by using his fire quirk he could easily wipe out and distance the villains or enemies that's surrounding the area.

- Tamaki Amajiki : The perfect 2 in 1 combo. With his quirk he could serve as an attacker and a defender. Though picking the right food he consumes would be the key to success and his entire performance on the field will mostly reflect to the food he eats so it's wise to prepare a handful of food at a time .

- Hawks : He was built for this, Though he may not be the strongest it terms of strength but he makes up a lot when it comes to speed and agility; his fighting abilities is beyond average and it wouldn't take a genius to know that he has gained mastery over his quirk. Plus his feathers can serve as sensors to know more about the surroundings including the enemies that are present and probably their location. And he'd definitely be my main man during a chase or escape type of scenario.

- Aizawa : With Aizawa's erasure quirk and keen eyes it would be a powerful addition for the team. Plus he possesses incredible combat prowess and ingenuity with or without the use of his canceling quirk and his ability to restrain his opponents is another advantage.

- Taishiro Toyomitsu - My ultimate Defense Character. I don't think I have to explain any further with how his quirk works and the advantages of him being in the team.

Oh, hello again. I didn’t see you there.

This year, I have transcended earthly desires and struggled to find any fandoms to request. I want nothing. I wish my cat was nominated as a Yuletide fandom so we could all write stories about her life.

(Ridiculous example, but you get the point.) For AU/modern settings of fandoms with magic, I often like it when the magic is still there in the AU setting. I also like AUs which maintain the general outlines of the character’s relationships, like if the characters are childhood friends in canon, I like to keep that intact.

General preferences:

I am a pretty basic bitch when it comes to fanfic: I like it when two clueless boys pine for each other through some shenanigans and then lock eyes/lips/dicks.

If you fed a neural net every fanfic written in Stargate Atlantis fandom between 2005 and 2010, the result would probably be some nonsense I’d enjoy.

I love many tropes. Tropes! Bed-sharing. Sharing an umbrella. WASHING EACH OTHER’S HAIR? Confessions where they are having an argument and then one of them yells “Because I love you!”

I love situations where characters are forced to spend time in close proximity and find themselves with feelings.

I love fakeness: fake dating, fake marriage, arranged marriage, marriage of convenience, fake lust induced by sex pollen or heats, aliens make them have sex, whatever.

I love porn, if you want to just write me some quick porn, that’s great. I do prefer (per the established relationship DNW above) that it be first time or get together porn. I know that can make it hard to just write porn, but I don’t need much to be convinced of sex.

Nirvana in Fire (TV)

Note: I also love Lin Chen so if you want to write some MCS/LC or LC/Fei Liu or LC/MCS/JINGYAN OT3??? go for it. I am also a Nihuang/Xia Dong shipper so if you want to put that in… somehow… my gay little heart would be happy. I also like Nihuang/MCS/XJY or MNH/MCS + MCS/XJY but I’d like the focus on the men in that case!

I watched this show because someone recommended this show to me as, like, Chinese Game of Thrones but good. I think it’s genuinely one of the best TV shows I’ve ever seen. I love plots and revenge and good people doing bad things for justice. Even the ending is good for me though obviously it left me unsatisfied on several points.

I am deeply into sickly doomed genius MCS and every time he got even more deeply ill, I fell deeper in love. Every time he coughs up blood, my heart would race. I love his terrible schemes and stupid self-sacrificing choices. I find watching this show very soothing because I knew he would always come out on top in his schemes. I trust him. I love handsome clueless Jingyan and how he’s just so good (it’s terrible.) I love his mom and how much he cares for her. I love him but he is useless, he needs his Xiao Shu and I need fanfic to restore him to him.

Note: So my limited research on this says that male/male sex practices were accepted and well-known in this time period in history, so I really don’t want them thinking “oh no what are these weird gay feelings.” There are other barriers to them being together, like a ruler or official being overly attached to one person was considered very bad. I am also a big supporter of the socially-approved polygamy of this time period, so I don’t need Jingyan to refuse to sleep with his wife or something out of loyalty to MCS—he has to do it! Or all their plans are ruined! And he can enjoy spending time with her or the concubines without affecting his feelings for MCS—you could explore that complexity in fic if you like.Prompts:

Tokyo Babylon 

Characters: Subaru, Seishiro

I read Tokyo Babylon as a child and I imprinted on it deeply, now I love politics, ghosts, stalking, age differences, magic. Within the CLAMP canon, I love TB for its episodic focus on smaller stories, the commentary on contemporary society, and Seishiro being an outright creep. I love onmyojutsu and exorcism and Subaru’s innocence getting ruined. I love the city of Tokyo (where I currently live! but do not be intimidated, I don’t know the city well because we’ve been in quarantine most of the time I’ve been here and won’t judge you for details.) I’m open to fics that comply with X canon or not.

With Seishiro/Subaru: It’s bad but I love that predator/prey dynamic where the predator ends up being hopelessly entranced/obsessed/in love with the prey. My read was always that Seishiro lost the bet and couldn’t admit it—he’s just, you know, killing twins to avoid dealing with his feelings! Relatable! (?!?!) Subaru, I love particularly in his evolution from innocent to adult in love to betrayed. I’d prefer post-TB fic to during-TB fic (so Subaru knows Seishiro’s deal and loves him anyway.) I am also a fan of Hokuto and you should feel free to bring her back to life to troll if you desire.

Pretty Rhythm came to me at a weird time in my life. I lived in a house of spiders in Yokohama and did nothing for eight weeks. King of Prism cheer screening transformed my life and I didn’t even know what it was. Then I got weirdly deep into Rainbow Live and the Pretty Rhythm franchise overall. I am a scientist of prism theory. Idk why I like it, it’s just wholesome and crazy and there are penguins and DJ Koo. I love every TRF song because I’m a 90s gay at heart. It’s truly the end point of all media development. The prism world represents the fearsome power of virtual/digital+real hybrid life. Yes, I know I’ve lost my mind. I went to one of the real Prism Stone stores, the one in Harajuku.

Hiro Hayami: one time a fujoshi asked me to describe what types of anime boys I like and the first type I listed was “prince but bad” and my example was Hiro. Hiro is the crazy gay stalker disaster of my heart. He overcomes great hardship to achieve his dreams and foolishly falls in love along the way and he does everything wrong and Koji keeps leaving him. The moment when Hiro is crowned King of Prism in Pride the Hero was one of the top ten moments of my life. I made friends who don’t even know Japanese watch the movie unsubtitled with me on my birthday.

With Koji, I’m a bit guilty of “I want to give the character I love the most the character he loves the most” so I do like him less (it would be impossible to like him equal to how much I love Hiro). But he has many good points that make him perfect, like how he also sucks underneath his chill exterior. I love to see him go apeshit.

I also love everyone else in Rainbow Live, no exceptions. I love all the girls. If you do write the girls, I would prefer they not be paired with the OTR boys. I would prefer they be paired with each other, any combo is good.

AND THEN THE PAIRING. I’m sure Nintendo has some market research that told them a certain subset of users are very motivated by enemies who seemed to once be lovers or best friends. I am that user.

What is up with these two? They were so in love! Now Dragaux is a horrible swole bro (not in a good bro way) and Ring is training me instead? I can’t compete with their love. It’s the only time the game makes me feel inadequate.

You can keep Dragaux and Ring as dragon/ring-like as you like. Obviously I’m down with dragon fucking but you can also make him a human fucker too. I play with Ring on the masculine voice setting for maximum BL vibes as I exercise, but, you know, it’s a ring, I don’t think it has gender. Feel free to incorporate the player or other random characters too.

The Tragedy of Eisuke, or another Eisuke Meta

So I’m back on my bullshit, and I’m going to go on yet another tangent on Eisuke, so please bear with me if I ramble on at times lmao. For the purposes of this meta, I’m going to use screenshots from both main stories, POVs, and substories. Even if the substories happened in AUs, his characterization and personality are still canon. 

Disclaimer: This is all my opinion and in no way am I claiming this is the absolute truth lmao. This is just how I interpret Eisuke and the events in the game. Also, this is going to be a very long post peppered with memes (ty Screenshots of Despair) and game screencaps, so good luck reading through this really long post.

I’ve replayed some of Eisuke’s stories again, and wow, sometimes I feel like I discover facets of him that weren’t obvious to me before. I think I’ve said this many times before, but man....Eisuke’s such a complex character that it’s so fun to dissect him. 

The first thing I want to bring up are the recurring themes present in his characterization: power and utilitarianism. In almost all of his stories, power is explored in different ways — from the most superficial point of view, we see Eisuke exhibit his economic ad social power as a internationally renowned hotel mogul. There’s the power he has as the boss of his company and the leader of the bidders. 

That aside, Eisuke values utilitarianism to a nigh obsessive extent. Every decision he makes is based on how it’d benefit himself and his interests, and his standard for measuring a person is based on how useful they are. Basically, he quantifies everything and everyone.

The interesting thing I wanted to point out was the he didn’t start off that way, rather, he grew into that. There was once a time when he was idealistic and still had faith in people. But that time is long gone.

I think it’s tragic to see what Eisuke could have been. We see how he was as a kid in the Examination of the Heart Story. In this AU, he never experienced his mother’s death and family’s downfall. He was a kind, caring, and thoughtful child. He went out of his way to visit MC almost every day to take care of her. He even goes to medical school all for the sake of curing MC’s heart disease! I’m inclined to think that if the Kuga family was never separated, he would have grown up to become softer and kinder.

Sadly, the canon timeline has a much more unfortunate turn. Eisuke ended up adopted into the Ichinomiya household at seven years old after his family separated. The seed of self-doubt and insecurity was planted, and it only grew downhill from there. 

He grew up in an environment where all his actions were judged because he wasn’t a real Ichinomiya. He was constantly scrutinized and judged, so he couldn’t afford to trust anyone. The fact that he was never an Ichinomiya became a lifelong insecurity for him. According to Akira, Eisuke was a lonely child.

That lonely child grew up into a cynical and apathetic teenager. Teenage!Eisuke believed that since his path was set for him, he didn’t have to try hard to do anything. So he slacked off in school, only bothering to do the bare minimum of everything. He never thought about the consequences of his actions, either; he picked fights with pretty much everyone who pissed him off and he spoke his mind, not caring about what would happen to him or to anyone around him. He was never held accountable for anything, so why did he have to bother? Let everyone shit on him like they always did since nothing could bad could happen to him. 

This all changed when Frank, the headmaster’s son, framed Eisuke for starting a fire in one of the buildings at their boarding school. Here, Eisuke starts to realize that his complacency towards everything is biting him in the ass. The seed of insecurity in him morphed into a seed that hated himself for being weak and powerless This is where Eisuke’s fixation on power comes from. 

It only becomes worse when Luke takes the fall in Eisuke’s place. Here, Eisuke truly understands that his lack of power doesn’t only affect himself, but also the others around him. What’s sad is that Luke willingly took the heat for Eisuke out of  affection; he expected nothing in return from Eisuke because Luke viewed it as an act of friendship. However, Eisuke doesn’t think like that — he sees it as transactional. Eisuke becomes downright obsessed with paying Luke back for everything. In fact, it becomes a core facet of his personality.

He views debt as a sign of weakness. He even sees his relationship with Akira as transactional; Akira took him in raised him, so he felt like he had to pay Akira back. Eisuke felt like everything he owned had to be earned. He studied business and economics because that would benefit the company the most. Hell, his entire motivation for making the Ichinomiya Group the huge conglomerate it is today was because he wanted to prove to everyone that he deserved his place because he worked for it. 

On that subject, Eisuke always feels like he has to prove himself. He does everything he can to make himself useful so people can’t tear him down for being a liability. This is why he views everything with a utilitarian lens; if he isn’t useful, then he’s worthless. I was reading his Bidding on Eisuke Story and these lines really got the point across:

In this AU, MC is the owner of the Tres Spades and Eisuke a nameless nobody. She rescues Eisuke from the black market auctions by bidding on him. MC tells him he’s free to go. But the first thing he does after that? He offers himself as payment. The story doesn’t go into detail about his past, but it’s implied he was used mainly for sex. He didn’t have anything to offer her aside from his body, and he didn’t want to be seen as useless. So the most logical course of action in his head was to offer sex to her. In the process, he effectively dehumanized himself just to pay back what he perceived as a debt.

It’s easy to see him as arrogant, and ostensibly, he is. But I really think he has a crippling sense of self-worth because he bases it on how powerful and useful he thinks he should be. In essence, he has an inferiority superiority complex; he acts haughty and prideful, but that’s only because he’s afraid of being replaced, rejected, and abandoned. 

(Nothing screams Eisuke more than Oh No! by Marina and the Diamonds lmao.)

I’m not sure if he actually even loves himself, to be honest. Sure, he’s confident on the outside, and he believes his merit and abilities got him to where he is today ...but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s happy with himself. His self-esteem is so fragile because he always quantifies everything he does. If he isn’t perfect, then he’s not worth it. This is why he always pushes himself to the extreme (and I daresay this is why he overcompensates with MC when it comes to sex, giving gifts, etc.).

Luke even says so himself:

The sad part is he probably isn’t even aware of it. He’s probably one of the lesser self-aware bidders, if not the least. He knows that his lot in life wasn’t the best, but he doesn’t realize how this affected his emotional state. He is by far, the least emotionally mature among the bidders because he literally cannot process his feelings properly. His Main Story POV gives us a really good example:

On a base level, he’s aware of what jealousy is and what it entails, but he’s so repulsed by the idea that he can feel jealousy that he vehemently denies it. After all, why should he be jealous of the others if MC likes him the best? At least.....that’s what he tries to tell himself anyway. Again, he doesn’t realize how insecure he really is.

If he isn’t repressing or denying his feelings, then he’s turning to sex as a coping mechanism. If I has to list every scene where Eisuke has sex with MC to fend off his anxiety, this post would be too long lmao. In Eisuke’s mind, dealing with feelings scares him so much that he’d rather bury them or distract himself. Still, that doesn’t mean his feelings go away, no matter much he wants them to.

(It’s a cold day in hell if Eisuke isn’t actively repressing his emotions.)

With all this considered, Eisuke definitely knows he isn’t easy to love. Hell, I think he expected to get through life without anyone ever loving him. Meeting MC was a literal miracle because she is the One Person who could love him unconditionally. Loving him takes a lot of understanding and empathy, and he knows he’s really fucking lucky he has MC in his life. I’m honestly not surprised at how possessive and protective he is over her. Deep down, I think he’s insecure that MC might leave him one day, so he tries his best to keep her satisfied (especially physically) so she doesn’t have any reason to go (again, this is a manifestation of his utilitarianism).

Even though he still sometimes feels like he has to prove his power and usefulness to her, he’s slowly (and I say very, very slowly) getting comfortable with the idea that maybe, he can let his guard down around her. Intuitively, he knows she won’t think he’s weak for being open.....but that seed of self-doubt in him hasn’t completely gone away yet. 

I think it’ll be a long time till we can see him completely open up to her, but part of what makes his story so interesting is the slow process he goes through to reach emotional maturity. He’s not quite there yet, but he’s trying, and I think that deserves some credit.

In conclusion,

I really like this/these books but there's a point where you can only handle so much over poetic introspection before it becomes insufferable.

Too bad Mare hit that point p early on in Red Queen. Yes, I know, you're Red and he/she/they are silver. YES you need to hide yourself. YES you're different from everyone else.

And it gets worse in Glass Sword because she's now just imposing the worst rules and regulations on herself...nobody said you had to behave like a tough stoic emotionless war hero...you told yourself that girl. Nobody said in Tuck that you had to feign a limp for 20 pages (I seriously don't understand that scene it just went no where??? Why was she so obsessed with looking injured)

"but I'm the little lightning girl. I'm the hero. I'm the reason--" YOU SAID THAT ALREADY.

And she's so...idk. she's convinced herself she's not allowed to show her emotions and that she HAS to be Edgy™ and threaten (mentally) to zap everyone. One dude literally made a harmless quip that she was snappy or w/e and she was already jumping bases in her head like "GOD I would love to show you how zappy I am with my electricity"

And then there are physical things that don't make sense, like Cal (or anyone) grinding their teeth so hard she can hear it. Or "I'm used to being hungry and cold and tired despite a month feeling the opposite so in this moment I have 100% energy"

And I have beef with Cal's description being only "he's a soldier. Cold. Calculated. On fire. Beefy." Somehow he's simultaneously smart enough to devise plans and then not smart enough to actually do that. He's a good soldier but then it's "oh maven was always good at the thinking, not Cal" Cal is muscly and tall and physically (literally) hot/overheated but we don't get much on how he's coping emotionally.

Also the only body type for men in this book is literally just "tall thick beefy muscly men that dwarf the MC". And everyone is white.

Kilorn is annoying. Everyone is so petty and I can't stand it. "No I'm not gonna stand that's what he wants." You're in prison and possibly about to die your pride is the last thing you should worry about.

Farley is petty in her own way but at this point I think she's just sadistic. Why would you purposely wait till the last second and freak people out with having them think there's no escape/plan/answer. "Hey guys ik we're currently running from a vengeful teenage king but....let me have us freak out for a full 30 seconds about not having an escape plan and then I'm gonna smirk mischievously and save the day" GOD I was so glad when Mare finally called her out on that.

And Mare is so weird with trusting people. I can understand maven was a blow to her but when you demand information about the Red Guard and you're immediately told that they're way bigger than you think...don't automatically assume they're lying. Bc I stg she did exactly that and was super confused and surprised when "oh wow!! This whole movement is bigger than I thought!!" they TOLD you that!!!

And I hate all the weird little glances that convey entire paragraphs of messages. Cal and Mare are alone in the cockpit not really doing anything and he nudges her knee and that apparently means "be careful. Keep an eye out" and she like...nudges back to say yeah.

I love the story but I have lots of problems with it and this rant is mostly it.

I have to say though that I love that Maven sucks at being an emotionally distant king. And then when he gets frustrated he just. Screams. Just fucking shrieks. Bruh you're 17.

I hope everyone has had a good 2018 and my best wishes to everyone for the New Year…!!! I can’t find a better way to end this year’s blogging journey than this post to sum up all my reading. It has been a great year of reading and blogging for me, discovering new authors, enjoying more blogs and making online friends who share similar passions as me. Even though I haven’t felt very good in my head sometimes, all my books and you blogging friends have made me feel better and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I only wish 2019 will find me in a better mindset.

This is probably the toughest question for any avid reader and even tougher for me, because I have varying definitions of what’s the best and what’s my favorite. I know… I’m weird that way😉😉😉 But I’m going to name the books which I thought were the most well written books I read per genres:

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

I’m a very easy to please reader, so it’s especially disappointing when books I’m excited to read don’t live up to my expectations. And one such book that I still think about is Furyborn. It had so much potential to be great, but the execution didn’t work. I still want to read Kingsbane because I want know what’s going to happen next.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?

I hardly ever read historical romances, so even trying out The Duchess Deal was just an impulse. But I had so much fun while reading it and it was such a pleasant surprise.

4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did)?

I don’t really “push” books to my blogger friends because we all are quite aware of the popular and not so popular books. However, I did manage to recommend books to my best friends and they enjoyed them, so that was a great feeling. One friend became obsessed with ACOMAF and it was a joy fangirling with her. Another one was quite enamored with The Deal and wanted to reread it immediately…. just like I did 😍😍😍

Best series I started: Where Death Meets the Devil

6. Favorite new author you discovered in 2018?

Wow… I discovered so many of them, it’s been that kind of an year. But some notable ones are Suanne Lacquer, Sarina Bowen, Elle Kennedy, Ella Frank, Lily Morton, Mackenzi Lee, Alice Oseman, C. S. Pacat, Christina Lauren, Nisha Sharma, Sangu Mandanna and many many more.

7. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

Sci-fi/ space operas are not my thing and A Spark of White Fire is the only book set in space I read this year, but it was a glorious reading experience.

8. Most action-packed/thrilling/unputdownable book of the year?

I finally finally got back to reading the two latest books from the Jack West Jr series by Matthew Reilly and it felt so good being in that thrilling zone again. The Three Secret Cities definitely was one of the most action packed books I read this year and it has one of my most favorite and daring rescue attempts ever.

9. Book You Read In 2018 That You Would Be MOST Likely To Re-Read Next Year?

I re-read books a lot. Especially, I love listening to audiobooks while sleeping every night, so I repeat the same ones. So, this would be an equally huge list just like by TBR. However, I have a feeling that I will be revisiting Kingdom of Ash again, because I want to savor the book the second time around.

10. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2018?

There are so many to choose from but Monstress is a great looking set of graphic novels, both outside and inside. Some of the most gorgeous and intricate artwork I’ve ever seen.

11. Most memorable character of 2018?

I fall in love with fictional characters everyday but the one who is very memorable and very unique is Clef from Foundryside. You have to read the book to know his story.

12. Most beautifully written book read in 2018?

I’m not one who chooses books with well written prose because I’m here for the emotional connect. In that context, the book I found most beautifully written was Autoboyography.

13. Most Thought-Provoking/ Life-Changing Book of 2018?

Fresh Ink is a very intense anthology by diverse and/or marginalized authors which will leave you with many thoughts and questions.

14. Book you can’t believe you waited UNTIL 2018 to finally read?

It has to be The Four Legendary Kingdoms. It took me almost two years after I bought the book to actually read it, and I have no clue why because this is one of my all time favorite series. But, I’m so glad I finally read it.

15. Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read In 2018?

There are way tooooo many quotes that I have highlighted and loved this year, but a particular one that I read last week is very profound and unforgettable:

16. Shortest & Longest Book You Read In 2018?

Fence # 1 is my shortest book this year and I loved getting introduced to Nick and Seiji. My longest read is obviously Kingdom of Ash – it was a mammoth which I read and completed on the day of it’s release.

17. Book That Shocked You The Most

Nevernight. Nothing happened in this book the way I expected it to. It’s completely shocking and riveting and I loved every second of it.

18. OTP OF THE YEAR (you will go down with this ship!)

I have a lot of OTPs to choose from but I will stick to my first favorite from the year and who have become one of my all time favorite adorable couples – Jaime and Ryan from Him / Us.

19. Favorite Non-Romantic Relationship Of The Year

Best friends Frances and Aled from Radio Silence are probably one of my favorite non-romantic relationship ever. They call themselves platonic soulmates and that’s the perfect description.

20. Favorite Book You Read in 2018 From An Author You’ve Read Previously

After really enjoying The Remnant Chronicles last year, it was a joy to jump back into the same universe with Mary Pearson’s latest installment Dance of Thieves.

21. Best Book You Read In 2018 That You Read Based SOLELY On A Recommendation From Somebody Else/Peer Pressure/Bookstagram, Etc.:

Everyone was always talking about Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda in the blogging community and I’m not sure why I was holding out. But once the trailer of the movie came out, I just had to read it and it was a beautiful read and an equally cool movie.

22. Newest fictional crush from a book you read in 2018?

I have had many crushes throughout the year, but the most recent one is Silas, the Earl of Ashworth from Oz. He may belong to the aristocracy but he is so compassionate and sweet and down to earth, I loved him right from the get go.

23. Best 2018 debut you read?

Apparently, I have not read a lot of debuts this year but Mammoth, Intercepted and Running With Lions are some of my favorites.

24. Best Worldbuilding/Most Vivid Setting You Read This Year?

Foundryside. I love Robert Jackson Bennett’s worldbuilding more than anyone else and the magic system in this book is one of the most unique I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading.

25. Book That Put A Smile On Your Face/Was The Most FUN To Read?

There have been quite a few books that made me laugh a lot this year, the notable ones being My So-Called Bollywood Life, Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating and The Lightning-Struck Heart.

26. Book That Made You Cry Or Nearly Cry in 2018?

I’m a huge crier, so atleast half the books on my list have made me weep. But one I remember really making me very emotional and sobbing every couple of pages is Risk Taker.

27. Hidden Gem Of The Year?

I still can’t believe that A Thousand Beginnings and Endings has less than 500 reviews on Goodreads because it’s the most beautiful short story collection I have ever read and I felt immensely satisfied and pleased as a reader to see my culture and mythology and those of other countries in Asia represented with such love.

28. Book That Crushed Your Soul?

I have to mention Kingdom of Ash again because even though I really loved the book, it was still a very exhausting and soul-crushing experience – maybe because I did not want it to end.

29. Most Unique Book You Read In 2018?

Where Death Meets the Devil and Why the Devil Stalks Death are two of the most uniquely thrilling novels I have read this year and the author’s style of writing in two timelines and cliffhangers in almost every chapter makes for a very adrenaline filled reading experience.

30. Book That Made You The Most Mad (doesn’t necessarily mean you didn’t like it)?

It has to be the two books I mentioned as my favorites in the first question. The Nowhere Girls made me mad because it showed a mirror to how ingrained misogyny and sexism is in our society and A Charm of Finches portrays the gut wrenching struggle that one of the MCs has to go through after his traumatic experiences.

1. New favorite book blog/Bookstagram/Youtube channel you discovered in 2018?

I have discovered so many bloggers this year and I apologize for not including everyone, but please know that I love all of you. But the couple bloggers I really enjoy reading and communicating with are Sara @ The Bibliophagist and Melanie @ Mel to the Any. Another one who has been a joy to befriend, buddy read with and whom I hope I will get a chance to meet in 2019 is Nandini @ Unputdownable Books.

2. Favorite post you wrote in 2018?

One of my favorite posts of mine this year is Bookish Worlds I’d Want to/Never Want to Live In.

3. Favorite bookish related photo you took in 2018?

I don’t take a lot of bookish photos but I like this one because I’m trying to look festive standing next to my bookshelf.

4. Best bookish event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, etc.)?

The first event I attended was the NovaTEEN Book festival and it was so wonderful to meet some incredible authors and my favorite booktuber Samantha from Thoughts on Tomes. It was my first bookish event ever and I can never forget that experience.

Baltimore Book Festival was another great event, which I really cherish because I got to meet Nisha Sharma and have a fun and extensive chat with her about books and Bollywood.

I have also greatly enjoyed our virtual Overbooked Book Club run by Dilip and Ana and it has been so much fun reading and discussing one book per month and having lots of bookish discussions everyday.

A very recent wonderful experience has been becoming a part of Book Dragons India run by Nandini.

5. Best moment of bookish/blogging life in 2018?

Meeting and getting clicked with my favorite booktuber Samantha. She has been my introduction to booktube and I never ever thought that I would get the chance to interact with her.

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

I have had a couple of long and bad reading/blogging slumps this year and it’s very difficult to cope when all I want to do is read, but I am unable to.

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?

One post which I really got a lot of love for is my July Wrap-Up: Blog Love post where I highlighted some of my favorite blog posts by fellow bloggers.

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?

I always wish that my reviews get a little more love than my tags/memes because I absolutely love writing reviews. But I do understand that they can be very time consuming to read.

9. Best bookish discovery (book related sites, book stores, etc.)?

My favorite bookish discovery has to be the Bibliophile planner that I bought for myself this Thanksgiving and I hope it will help me organize my reading and blogging better in 2019.

10. Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

I changed my Goodreads challenge from 130 to 150 during the middle of the year, but I also completed it a while back 🤩🤩

I tried to get into readathons too but the only one I successfully completed and had a lot of fun participating in was the month long Marvel-A-Thon.

1. One Book You Didn’t Get To In 2018 But Will Be Your Number 1 Priority in 2019?

Ohhh I would never presume anything to be my No. 1 priority because I’m too much of a mood reader. But I would definitely like to read Empire of Sand very soon.

2. Book You Are Most Anticipating For 2019 (non-debut)?

My planner is already full of books that I want to read but my most anticipated release is King of Scars and I’m so glad it comes out in January. I can’t wait to read more about dear Nikolai.

3. 2019 Debut You Are Most Anticipating?

Definitely has to be The Tiger at Midnight. It’s a fantasy based on Indian mythology by an Indian American author and I just can’t ask for anything more.

4. Series Ending/A Sequel You Are Most Anticipating in 2019?

Heirophant, the sequel to my favorite fantasy of this year. I can’t wait to read what Robert Jackson Bennett is going to do next with these awesome characters.

5. One Thing You Hope To Accomplish Or Do In Your Reading/Blogging Life In 2019?

I am not a planner, but I do hope I am able to post more consistently to my blog. And now that I’m close to 760 followers, reaching the milestone of 1000 would be a dream come true 😀😀😀

6. A 2019 Release You’ve Already Read & Recommend To Everyone (if applicable):

I just finished reading this book, and I whole heartedly recommend A People’s Future of the United States – a speculative fiction anthology written by an excellent diverse group of authors, which is very scary and terrifyingly relevant and thought provoking and you will find atleast some stories that will resonate with you.
