The best way to understand there’s something romantic going on between Will and Mike is to swap them with Dustin and Lucas. Have you ever seen them act around each other the way Will and Mike do? Has one of them told the other how special he is compared to his other friends and how he thought he’d lost the other? Has one of them promised the other to go crazy together? Have they glanced lovingly at each other like nothing else mattered? Do they share the same tension while alone in a room? Have they had multiple heart-to-hearts in one season alone? The list goes on. “Stranger Things” has done everything to show the special connection Will and Mike share compared to the other friendships, and it’s simply undeniable.
