Un blanco diferente que sorprende cuando te encuentras en una bodega centenaria de Haro. …….. Un vino fresco y complejo gracias al coupage de Viura y Tempranillo. La Viura aporta finura, elegancia y afinidad con la barrica. El Tempranillo blanco nos ofrece frutosidad y acidez vertical. There were a lot of top wineries, well known and famous, with excellent wines. But in between you can find unknown jewels like this one here. . This wine, served from a bottle of three litres, comes from the upcoming region Bierzo in the northwest of Spain. The grapes come from vines with an age of over 70 years. And it spent a few years in the bottle. It is a 100% Mencia, has amazing flavours of raspberries, blueberries, dark cherries, chocolate and a hint of toast and caramell. Of course, it spent 15 months in french oak, but the oak is really in the background. In the palate it is astonishing fresh and crisp, harmonous with very fine tannins and a long, juicy finish. If you want to compare it, so compare it with an excellent Cabernet Franc, but is much more complex and dense. A very authentic and original wine, and it can age very well, great! .
