Summary 2 Day one. Learning

Virgil is the first to come down that morning. You are cautious, but ve seems to be just as apologetic for their behavior, if not more so. Patton talked to them.

Virgil suggest you can help by waking the princes while he gets them their breakfast.

You agree. You find the princes asleep on the carpet of what must be Roman’s room rather than his bed. When you wake them up, the crown prince wonders about what names and pronouns to use for you all. The queen tells them she uses She her pronouns and simply goes by queen.

You help the crown prince get dressed while she (fem pronouns for today) explains about sleeping and dreams as best as she can.

Remus teases her a bit about the knight coming with breakfast soon before leaving.

Ro gets ready while reminiscing about the adventures she, her brother and Virgil used to have as kids.

When Virgil comes in they seem quite impressed with Ro’s outfit.

They are very formal while addressing the princess though. More formal than the day before.

Roman requests to be called Rose by Virgil for today whenever they find themselves alone.

Virgil also gifts the light that smuggled a pan with a miniature version they should carry around more easily.

Virgil agrees to show you all around now, heading to Remus’ room first. There one of you nearly gets consumed by a mysterious creature living under Remus’ bed, and you find out that Virgil strained his wing last night while flying around.

You help Remus with his outfit too and you tell Virgil about the moving pictures. They think Logan and Janus will want to know about this.

You find them in the attic bowed over something huddled close together and accidently spook them when you greet them. Much to the amusement of the knight.

You tell them about the moving pictures and they find this quite interesting.

Janus gives Virgil something for the pain he failed to hide.

Virgil confesses he is more on edge with your presence.

It seems like both Janus and Logan are worried about Virgil for reasons other than just their wing.

Virgil shows you around in Logan’s room, which has a Lot of books and a blackboard, and in xir room, which is much more sparcely decorated.

They let you see some sketches.

You see their parents, figures you haven’t met but that have shown up multiple times, and the fairies you have met, and another fairy whom you know nothing about except that you have heard them in multiple memories relating to Virgil.

Then Virgil takes the twins to the training room in the basement. There Remus has fun with an enchanted training dummy while Ro lets Virgil teach her in using a new weapon as well as practicing with weapons they are only a little familiar with.

When they fall over there is a little awkward moment. One of the lights gets named Bell.

A new game mechanic ‘trust’ gets introduced.

You learn that the twins train in order to be prepared next time someone aims a blade at them.

You learn that if a ‘wisher’ dies without fulfilling their wish, the wishlight pulls their soul back and creates a ghost. Friendly if the wisher was still hopeful, but malevolent in the rare cases where they had lost all hope.

You learn a bit more about the type of wishes that exist (light lore).

After lunch you join the fairies for their classes.

Logan teaches you a lot about fairy culture and history as well as the theory behind magic.

Janus puts on a nice show and has the fairies demonstrate.

During their demonstration of the truth spell they made, Remus accidently hits himself and confesses it wanted to ask the others about ‘accents’ something that upset Virgil a great deal.

The twins seem to struggle a bit with having their magic behave how they want it to and after class Virgil decides to try and help them figure out how to fix it.

When dinner approaches Remus heads to their room and Virgil stays with Ro to clean up.

SEPTEMBER 2020 BC ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULES & REVIEW

Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of October 7 KST:

A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly limit).

A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on the monthly schedule.

Following the conclusions of her latest comeback promotions, she still has another performance on the festival circuit as a performer at the Seoul event of Waterbomb 2020. She’s been allotted a fifteen minute set which includes ‘Love U”, “Roller Coaster”, ‘Why Don’t You Know”, and her cover of “Bang Bang”. Later in the month, she’ll be dropping into a popular dance studio to film a video showcasing choreography of one of her b-sides, “Do It”, from her album earlier in the year alongside the choreographer.

Their unit debut was well-received among fans, if not as much the general public, and the general attitude around their promotions seems to suggest the unit will be making a comeback in the future, although no plans have been officially put into place or discussed with the unit members at this time, as preparations for the full group comeback are more important now.

LIPSTICK

Only the members of Lip Gloss will be performing for Queendom this month for the unit and Fandora’s Box rounds, but the rest of the members will still appear during all filming days. The group’s lead vocal/lead dancer will be representing the group for the vocal unit performance, while the maknae/main dancer/lead rapper/sub vocal will represent them in the performance stage. In the meantime, the full group has a photo shoot for the cover of and an inside spread in the October issue military culture magazine HIM this month.

summary: savannah doesn’t like her solo stage.

the girls of wish were lined up in a row in the middle of the dance studio awaiting the choreographr to give them their assigned special stage. bc liked to keep wish moving. they were just finishing up their wishlights tour and where already preparing for a concert. and it wouldn’t change any time soon. they were about to be hit with the end of year performances. they’ve been constantly moving since day one of their debut. their success made it so that bc would give them every opportunity handed to them. next month would commemorate their five year anniversary. five years of wish. five years of hating her career up to this point. to celebrate bc is giving fanclub members an exclusive concert. it was a money grab disguised as a gift to fans who already supported them. the choreographer listed of their names and the stage they would be participating with two group stages. she had the grand total of one solo special stage. her song was “player”. with two group stages and one small group stage. she was a performer. born to be a performer. her mom made sure of that. but her time in wish has made it clear that she likes to perform alone. that’s probably why she loved acting.they all sat down against the wall and waited as the choreographer called them up to teach them the moves to their solo special stage. the members before her got up and watched as the choreographer go through their dance moves and then copied the dance. at this point the choreographer wasn’t looking for perfection. he was just making sure they got the moves down, she got up from her spot on the floor when the choreographer called her name. she stood in front of  him and watched the trainer do a run through of her stage. and after watching it she was mad. compared to the other members before her part was small and simple. the choreography was a bunch of footwork. and the only truly spectacular move was the split at the end. she grew up dancing. since she could walk her mom threw her into dancing. she felt personally attacked by the small part she had. she spent years training to become an idol and she was given 20 seconds on stage to jump around and do a split. she mimicked the trainer picking it up instantly. she would have to practice it very little. she sat back and continued to watch the other members.as she sat and watched the other members go through their choreography she grew more jealous. the vocalists of the group got more complex choreography than her. their stages were complex. they irony is she never really wanted to be an idol. she shouldn’t really care. but for some reason she did. the choreographer finished up with the run through of special stages. after solo stages they split up to run through the small group stages. the song was once upon a time. she actually enjoyed the stage. the choreography was both simple and complex. she watched as the choreographers go through the moves. and with the choreographer talking them through it they did a rough run through. it would take a couple days of practicing to perfect it.the choreographer dismissed them after their run through with the promise they would continue to practice it tomorrow along with learning the group stages.she packed her bags and made her way out the room. she wanted to get home to prepare herself for the next day.

"You are called Wishlights? Is this due to an ability to grant a wish? Or do people make wishes upon seeing you?"

There was warm amusement in the queen.

"Neither, and both. We are born from people's truest wish. When the one who made us finds us we can help them in making that wish come true," she explains.

"Then who's wish are you?" Roman asked eagerly.

"I dont know. And I cannot tell you what wish I am either. I must protect my dreamer, as we all do. Wishes can be used against people. And sometimes even well meant meddling can have bad consequences."

The crown prince thinks about that for a moment. "Are there bad wishes?" He asked.

The queen thinks for a moment. "There can be. I never met one myself. But I suppose someone who is truly, irrecoverable wicked can have a sinister wish as his true wish. Most people though want good things, even if that want is buried under anger and pain. This is true for all. Know that if you were to look for your light, and I cant promise that they are here, you might not find what you expect. And not everyone is ready to face that truth when they find it."

"What happens when your wish is fulfilled?" Logan asked intrigued.

"Some become stars some remain to carry the next wish. I have carried many wishes. For that I am queen of this constellation."

sophie, much like every member of which, is not unaware of all the criticism thrown at the group. for as many fans as they have, people who admire their work and enjoy their music and performances, there are the ones who will nitpick for the sake of it, who will discredit whatever they may do just because they know they can and others will back them up. sophie’s long learned not to dwell on those comments as much. she’s been in the industry for enough years that she knows it’s an inevitability – that people will criticize the groups no matter what they do, so there’s no point in relying completely on what the general public might thing.

still, she’s only human. there are enough times one can see comments criticizing their group’s performance – from the dancing to the singing – and not be upset about it. sure, they might not be the best at everything but no group ever was. all of them had their strengths and sophie could argue that at the very least wish has been improving with the years. their earlier sound has never actually bothered her, not in the way it bothered others, yet she knows their recent comebacks have showcased a definite maturing of their sound and image, in a way that she believes the public is satisfied with.

being overly aware of the criticism means sophie is always determined to put everything she has into anything she does. singing has never been a strong suit of hers but her dancing has always been something she can lean on. she’d argue she wasn’t given a position as lead dancer if she couldn’t live up to it. bc is many things but they are not dumb.

the focus only seems to increase whenever wish has a concert. they rehearse twice as much as they do during any other time and apply themselves four times as much. the desire to put on a great performance completely beats their physical tiredness and sophie’s done her fair share of pushing herself past her limits, past the point of exhaustion.

except this time…

this time sophie is genuinely tired.

she shouldn’t be, not when wish’s not even in the middle of comeback preparations and the only group schedules involve the concerts that they have to do. but there’s everything else she’s doing. the variety, the cf shootings, the meetings. for once in her life sophie is much less concerned about what the group does and much more worried about what the company expects from her and her alone.

it’s a terrifying thought and one that causes her to be mentally drained.

she had passed the final soundcheck without a hitch, getting to her marks as if it was second nature, even if all of them ended up half-assing the choreography so not to drain themselves before the concert even started.

it’s why she doesn’t know how it happens. one moment she’s performing fake & true, the choreography almost like muscle memory, and the next she somehow manages to not only miss her mark but also trip and fall on her ass. one of the girls turn to give her a quick look but sophie’s fast to get back on her feet, the shock at having fallen enough to bring her focus fully back.

sophie laughs it off because she has to, waving off everybody’s concern when they ask if she’s okay. she’s long learned how to keep going.

(and if she has a small cry about it when she gets back to her hotel room, well. no one has to know.)
