Beltane is almost here, and you know what that means!

Time to start crafting your flower crowns!  What better way to welcome the warmer weather than by crafting with flowers? It's so much fun, and I love being surrounded by the vibrant colors and fresh smell of spring flowers. Flower crowns are the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring!  I want to provide a small description to you how to make your own flower crown. It is very easy.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. Send me pictures of your Craftings for Beltane.

Beltane is an ancient Gaelic holiday celebrated on April 30.

It was originally a pagan festival marking the beginning of summer. The holiday was eventually absorbed into Christianity and became known as "Walpurgis night"

Beltane celebrations traditionally involve bonfires, dancing, and feasting. Today, people all over the world continue to celebrate Beltane as a time of rebirth and renewal.

It has a really long tradition in Germany! It's a time to celebrate the arrival of summer, and people often dress up, make loud noises and play pranks on other people.

Our next Festival is already in sight.

Yaay, we are going to celebrate again.

But we already had Imbolc last week you think.

Yes, we did, but the cycle of the year does not stop and the spring equinox will happen on March 21. At least in the Northern Hemisphere.

Nowadays we would not say we celebrate the spring equinox.

The christians claimed this ancient festival as their own and even adopted the name - Easter. Which stems from the Ancient name Ostara, celebrating the Spring goddess Ostara.

(Stay tuned, I will tell you more about here in the Future so don't forget to follow and to not miss it.)

So we say that we celebrate easter or for the Pagan folks: Ostara.

Since many christian traditions we do today are the same as with the celts or the Germanic folks you may be familiar with them.

I want to give you a little insight on Ostara.

In four days we will Celebrate Ostara, the Spring Equinox, festival home of goddess eostre. If you haven't heard of it yet, you can look back at my other Posts about the Easter festival. I wrote about easter in different nations, how you can celebrate Ostara and who Eostre is.

But now I want to give you a small insight on the Equinox.  Did you know that our Days are not always exactly 24h long? I'd love to hear from you. Have you already invited all your friends and family for a easter fire? Or are you going to have a big feast and hide some eggs for the kids?
