Kembla Grange Homestead. This is how we puddle our curtains, we designed this finish’s using the matte black @silentglissaustralia SG6840 tracking and using a beautiful @rafflestextiles linen textile. When using 100% raw linen be prepared for the fabric to grow and shrink depending on atmospheric conditions. In a high humidity season your fabric will absorb the moisture from the air and get heavy and grow. In a dry season the moisture will evaporate out of your fabric and it will shrink. Some raw linen fabrics can move up to 12%, this is normal. We would normally say “Linen is Alive” because it moves daily. Trust our 80 year old family business with your forever home. Shellharbour Waterfront. This home is literally in the ocean. The previous owners used roller blinds throughout, all the fittings had rusted, chain drives had failed, the fabric edges where destroyed from the blinds rolling off to the sides. It was a disaster scene. We were looking for a softer long term finish. We custom designed and had built this boxed pelmet system using the @silentglissuk recessed curtain tracking. There are no steel parts inside this curtain tracking. Gliders, hooks and tapes are all UV treated. Perfect for this location. All the curtains are able to be pulled back completely off the windows to reveal uninterrupted ocean views.
