My dreams are rejected by my society. A society where it is normal for a woman to hear the following words over three times a day:

"Adjust your dreams, you are a woman."

"Don't stay late. You are a woman."

"Lower your voice. You are a woman."

"Get a man you know to get it done for you, you are a woman."

"You can't do what you want. You are a woman."

I live in a society where women are the reason behind any problem even when they are the victims. I live in a society where women are blamed for divorce, bad marks of a child, bad luck, failed relationships and even their own sexual harrasment.

When her husband gets mad and yells or hits, people go like, "What do you expect? You angered him."

When a woman gets sexually abused, raped, assulated, people go like, "What did you expect? You are wearing something so short? Something so skiny?" Even if that thing fits an entire elephant inside.

Women in our society are asked to work and support homes, raise a child or children, teach them, feed them, educate them and much more without getting tired or complaining. They are asked to take bad words and give it out as good, why? Cause they are women, the weak part of the chain, and when they prove themselves strong and stern, they recieve an unlimited amount of hate.

Women in my society are asked to stay silent and suffer alone, not even their husbands care to support them and be there for them, some even abuse their wives and make it worse.

In my society, equality is just a gum used as an excuse while in fact, it is a far way dream that won't be reached anytime soon.

In my society, even Islam is forgotten in this society. Islam made women sacred and special but this... This is not Islam...
