All you could do was sit in silence as Jack tried his best to explain his reasoning behind the decision that he made. He had slid you into his lap and kissed your cheek thinking that would soften the blow, but you weren't having it. As much as you had missed him and wanted to rip his clothes off right then and there, you figured that you did have standards.

Your standards were probably in the third level of hell, but at least you did have them.

You didn't consider yourself innocent by any means and knew that you were at fault just as much as he was.

"Your wife knows about me and you didn't think that was important to tell me?! And she knows where I live?!" You exclaimed while looking over at him in disbelief.

It only made sense for her to know where you lived since you lived in a high rise condo that Jack had bought for you four months ago.

Only ten minutes away from the home that he shared with her.

"She knows that I don't love her anymore and I haven't for a while. I'm not sure if I ever did. She wanted to see if there was someone else. She went looking in my phone and ended up getting her feelings hurt and unlocked it when I was sleeping. She should have minded her own business. That's one thing that she could never do and would always be questioning me about everything."

"So, what's next? Are you actually planning to leave her like you told me? Now that she knows about me and that I actually exist, do you honestly think that she's going to sign the divorce papers without putting up a fight?"

"I didn't think that far ahead."

"And that's your problem babe because you never do. She is accustomed to this lifestyle that you have introduced her to, and do you think she is going to be willing to give that up? I have a bad feeling that she isn't going to be nice about this which is fair. I would be out for blood if I found out my husband was cheating on me. So when did she find out about me? When you released Side Piece on your album? She must have gotten a kick out of that one."

"She told me she had her suspicions, but she wasn't sure. And when she heard the song, that's all I told her that it was, a song. Nothing more. Just.... let me make this right. I promise to make this right."

"How? How are you even going to begin to make this right? You told me months ago that you were going to leave her and we are in the same predicament that we were in then. I'm tired of hiding and I deserve to let people know who I'm with, but I can't do that because guess what? I'm in love with a married man who I didn't know was married when I first met him since you weren't wearing a ring."

"You make this sound so easy like I can fix this with a snap of my finger and it will all go away."

"Well from the way you had been describing to me what you were going to do it did sound easy. There is absolutely nothing tying you to this woman. You don't have kids, you made her sign a prenuptial agreement and you said that you even cheated on her the day before you two were married with her cousin and she cheated on you, multiple times and started in the first three months of your marriage. You two are toxic to each other and I don't see why you can't see that. Please make it make sense. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt that you won't do the same thing to me, but I don't know. I got involved with a married man and now I'm pregnant by him. AGAIN. You can easily walk away right now and act like I never existed. I want to be with you, I do, but..."

Jack looked at you in disbelief that you would even come to that conclusion. He admits that he didn't have the best track record with relationships, but when he met you, there was something different that he couldn't quite put his finger on and knew that he couldn't bring himself to do that same thing to you.

"Y/N, please I would never do that to you. Ever since we met, I knew that you were the person that I wanted to be with and not her. You have given me so much more in a two years than she did the entire time we were together. I just need a little more time and then I promise to take you to Paris for our anniversary like we talked about. By the end of the month, I'll file from divorce from her."

"No, not the end of the month. I'm not waiting that long. You're going to do it tomorrow. The sooner you do that, the sooner we can be a family for real."

Just then you heard the cries of your eight month old son and was brought back to reality.

"I got him, babe." Jack told you and you simply nodded while sliding off of his lap.

Just then you got a text on your phone from a number that you didn't recognize.

Stealing someone's husband never ends well for anyone. You can't turn a hoe into a housewife no matter how many children you give him. No one ever remembers the person who comes in second place.

so much happened in this whole episode but i’m still on fig infiltrating ruben’s dream, making it look like the place where his friend was murdered, and then disguising herself as kipperlilly & repeatedly saying different variants of “somebody needs to take the fall for this, and it’s not going to be me. it’s going to be you.” while adaine as the elven oracle shows up next to her. can you imagine waking up from that, the idea of a horrible truth being pinned on you by your friend to save her own skin while the personification of fate and destiny stands there, almost as a promise that this is GOING to happen to you. we don’t even know if this kid is guilty. my god.

fionna's world being represented by a dandelion makes so much sense ... they're weeds. yet people make wishes through them, changing their whole meaning from something meant to be destroyed to something hopeful.

dandelions are also resilient and it makes sense that something associated with them would. you know. perservere despite the destruction caused by the scarab.

but ultimately i think what REALLY made me tear up over this is that dandelions are really boring plants. when you're a kid you blow on them and make your wish but they're not eyecatching or anything but still, fionna's final wish was for her old world to still exist as it was when she left it (> plain and simple. boring even).

like the moment she realized she would lose her friends, and that her friends might forget each other if the world got its magic back, she immediately decided she didn't want it and I think that ties back to the dandelion metaphor so well... like, do you really need magic to be real to find it everywhere? or can you turn something boring into something magical?

i know the hunger games isnt about romance i know it isnt a love story but. theres just something so beautiful in the way peeta is the personification of what it means to heal and he /is/ the dandelion and the bread and the hope that things can be better even if they wont be fixed. even if the nightmares dont stop he will still hold her. wake her up and tell her shes alive. shes safe. and when its over and done and theres no more saving or protecting or trying their absolute hardest to die if it means keeping the other alive, the horrors dont stop. but katniss will still find that comfort in peetas arms.

I have a question for people who fervently argue that Arya has no potential for politics but think that Sansa will be one of the main political characters, and I'm asking this seriously.

If Arya learning multiple languages, how to tell + detect lies, how to rule her face so she doesn't reveal her emotions, being able to blend into different situations, thinking quick on her feet, knowing the importance of gathering information, being someone who makes friends wherever she goes, convincing a FM to help free Northern prisoners and participating in a coup, etc. don't make Arya capable of participating in politics...what exactly is it that you think Sansa will be doing as a political figure?

I jokingly thought before that reading Junie B. Jones as a kid turned me into a feminist, but unironically, it kind of did.

I honestly think it comes down to the fact that Junie B. was not only allowed to be "weird," but her character arc never concluded like other girl characters would. In other media featuring "weird girls," the girl always ended her arc tamed - by force or convince, she would be prettied up, she would smile and be polite, and she would never speak out of turn. She would be perfect then, and would shed her veneer of individuality with the freedom that is conformity. As a kid, I noticed that girls weren't permitted to be "weird" like boys were. So when I read Junie B. Jones, I loved that she was frankly just fucking weird. She said things out of turn, she was rambunctious and imaginative and she was a realistic portrayal of a little girl. I loved reading those books because the narrative taught her lessons without punishing her for being weird, if that makes sense. So often, narratives punished weird girls for the crime of being a socially unacceptable girl, not for any true wrongdoing like lying.

Anyway, I just think it's interesting, because I watched and read a ton of books and shows and movies featuring girls and women, but none of them truly empathized with (or even tried to empathize with) weird girls on their own merits and capabilities and terms, or embraced the idea of a "socially inept/unacceptable" girl without punishing her in some way for her supposed ineptitude.

something I do appreciate about red vs blue is its particular brand of “came back wrong”. you were brought back, but you’re just a memory of the person you’re supposed to be. you’re just the expectations of them. you’re just the pieces everyone else saw and remembered. you’re tough like the original, but you’ll always fail no matter how tough you are, because the original failed, too. you’ve got a personality like the original, but it’s not quite right because you didn’t actually live the life they did. there’s this person you love- who you would kill or suffer or die for- but you don’t know why, you just know you’re supposed to be together because that’s what you were made for.

Something so funny to me about the fact that for some reason Wonder Woman isn't here, but Superman and Green Lantern are (and Aquaman but at least he has more reason to be here). Also the way that Superman looks like he is pointing at Robin (because he and Batman are co-parenting) and Green Lantern is in-between Kid Flash and Speedy (because he's their honorary uncle) is very fun to me!
