[ ೀ pucker up, buttercup | itoshi sae ]
Tumblr media
ೀ content: female reader, fluff, sae and reader are adults, pet names (sae’s choice of words are stupid/idiot, calls reader ‘my girl’), alcohol, slightly suggestive at the end. | wc 1.5k | notes: okay did a very quick drabble for sae for christmas !! merry christmas to you guys <3
ೀ summary: being sae’s girlfriend is tough. there’s a lot of things he can’t make time for, and unfortunately this time, it’s you. but somehow, he always pulls through.
Tumblr media
it’s christmas eve and you’re at your company function, looking at the fruits of your hard labour.
the event hall is decked with christmas decorations; stockings lining the walls and corresponding to different names for everyone’s secret santa to gift accordingly, christmas lights surrounding every table, everyone getting their fair share of the catering you’d arranged.
“this is amazing,” your boss gushes as she excitedly throws her arms around you. she’s only a few years older than you, so it’s not all too surprising that she’s always super friendly with you.
“relax on the alcohol, okay?” you joke with her, smelling the liquor already.
she pouts at you, batting her eyelashes. “oh c’mon, are you still upset that your boyfriend couldn’t make it for christmas?”
you sigh, though you keep a strong front, smiling through it. being the private girlfriend of an international soccer superstar is tough; he has to miss holidays and special occasions and more often than not you can’t even get your calls through because he’s just that busy. you’d been excited for this year’s christmas though, because he had said he’d be able to fly back home this time.
but as it turns out, his manager—who so happens to love overworking him—has other plans. so all of that excitement just went down the drain. still, what else can you say to him other than good luck with it? you knew being his girlfriend was going to be tough, but it’s starting to take a toll after feeling like you barely exist in his world.
still, you stare at the message he last sent you.
i love you.
and you go soft. soft, because you know he means it. soft, because despite everything, you believe in the man you fell in love with. the one who gave you your first kiss back in high school, the one who’s so awkward that even initiating to hold hands last time had his entire face beet red. the one who never fails to assure you that in spite of the distance, he’s always still thinking of you.
you fiddle with your necklace, the promise ring sae gave you when you were back in high school sitting around your neck like it always has.
in between all the long distance arguments and the time differences and the i miss you, wish you were here with me, you still find yourself hopelessly in love with itoshi sae. even when your friends say they can’t imagine being in your shoes, even when numerous tabloids love to put models or athletes as your competition, you know there’s still no one else you’d rather be with than him.
“i’m fine, really,” you assure your boss, prying her off of you and then adjusting her so her arm is around your shoulder as you lead her to her stocking. “here, why don’t you busy yourself and see what your secret santa got you?”
you really just want to distract your boss so she wouldn’t accidentally end up throwing you a pity party. all you want to do today is to make it through it, spend the first hour of christmas day rounding up the party and then get home and sleep your day away. it’ll distract you from the absence of your boyfriend anyway.
as you watch your boss happily open up whatever’s in her stocking, you wonder if your secret santa got you anything. (of course, some secret santas are dicks and end up not getting their person anything.) so count yourself lucky when you open up your stocking to find both a gift and a card.
amused, you rip the card out of its envelope, your heart skipping a beat when you see that inside of it, there’s a picture of you and sae as high school kids, beside each other, his face deadpan while you’re grinning from ear to ear, resting your head against his shoulder. the message reads: i love you so much it’s stupid.
you’re still in shock but you open up the little gift box, maroon with a green bow on it. when you see what’s inside, you can’t help but chuckle.
holding it above you, under the light, you can see the words hey, stupid engraved on the side of the fake mistletoe before feeling a warm pair of arms wrapping around your waist from behind, cold lips catching you off guard as they press themselves against yours.
it fills you up inside, takes all the weight off your shoulders. you’ll recognise him anywhere, without having to look or hear, the way his lips feel against yours, how he holds you gently against him, laughing softly against your lips as you pull him closer to you by the collar.
never in your wildest dreams did you expect to see your boyfriend in japan, let alone at your work party of all places, and now here you both are, kissing under the mistletoe.
“woah relax there,” he teases you, pulling away but still holding you close.
he’s here, he’s actually here. his hair’s in a mess, and there are circles under his eyes, but he’s smiling. he’s smiling at you and he’s here with you and you don’t even feel the tears forming in your eyes because you’re too busy relishing in the moment.
“itoshi sae,” you call out to him, your hands patting on his body, his black coat and his scarf are real and he’s here—he’s really here. “i thought you were too busy to come back…”
how long has it been now since you’d last seen him? a year? perhaps longer? he’s been so busy nowadays that you wondered at one point if he would even come back to you at all.
sae sighs, holding your cheeks in his hands as he presses his forehead against yours. “i’m sorry,” he says tensely, shaking his head slightly. “i was away for so long, and i just…” his teal eyes stare into yours, both your eyelashes dancing against one another. “i missed you, and i just wanted to see you.”
you’re laughing in disbelief, still holding him close because you’re just that afraid that this’ll all be an illusion that might soon slip away. “and they just let you off like that? that simple?”
he presses his lips into a firm line, averting his gaze. “let’s just say that they weren’t happy about it but i’m the important one, so…” he smiles, genuinely, putting an arm around. “they don’t have a choice but to let me come home to see my girl.”
turns out, he’d called in a favour to your boss, asked her about christmas plans because he knew from your texts that you were in charge of putting it all together. and then he asked her to put the gifts in your stocking. and you laugh hearing about it, because you’re thinking of how your life could’ve gone a totally different way. you could’ve gotten into a relationship with someone else who wouldn’t do this much for you, wouldn’t make time for you, wouldn’t travel across the world and put their own things down all in the name of meeting you.
“what’re you thinking about, stupid?”
you look into his eyes, shaking your head. “nothing, it’s nothing, i just- i love you, itoshi sae.” you smile, and sae smiles too because he loves how your smile reaches your eyes. and he loves being the reason you smile so he’s going to keep being that—and he makes a promise to himself to make you happy for life. but maybe that’s a gesture for next time. right now, he just wants to spend the rest of the holidays with you.
the clock strikes twelve, and he steals the mistletoe from you, holding it up between the two of you again, wincing from how cheesy it is after he does it, earning a chuckle from you.
“merry christmas, idiot.” and he kisses you again, long and slow and completely oblivious to everyone else that’s there who are staring and clapping—half of them still in awe that the itoshi sae is here and half of them in shock after putting two and two together that he’s your special guy.
“so, you’re gonna be here till new years’?” you ask in between kisses.
sae nods, “at least, why?”
you grin, pulling him by the belt as you lead him out of the event hall. “think it’s time we get home and just spend it between the two of us, yeah?”
sae laughs, letting you drag him along, wondering whether by this time next year, will he be lucky enough to call you his wife?
but when he sees that promise ring he gifted you still nestling snug around your neck, he has no doubt. you’re each other’s for life. and you’re worth every single risk he has to take.

“Do you want to press charges, Leon?” Chief Bob asks as he walks back into his office, sitting behind his desk.
“No, it’s fine Chief Dion. It was clearly just a misunderstanding,” Leon replies; both of you are sitting on the bench across from Chief Bob’s desk again, both his arms wrapped around you.
“Alright,” Chief Bob says with a nod, “I had one of the EMTs run him over to Speare Memorial Hospital to get his nose checked out, then he should be fine to be released. Now then, tell me everything leading up to when you found Nate."
Chief Bob pulls out a notepad and both of you explain to him the events leading up to when you found Nate. You recall the two college boys that you had encountered on the trail when… when Leon was kissing you. How they didn’t smell what you smelled is beyond you. Your mind wanders back to that moment at the Basin, Leon’s muscular body pinning you to the fence while he practically devoured you. You can still feel the traces of his hands roaming down your body to settle onto your waist.
And now, he has you wrapped in his embrace as his fingers comb through your hair. You take deep breaths, taking in the smell of his cologne and his leather jacket.
“I want to thank you both for your bravery in finding Nate. I can’t say I blame those two boys you saw for not checking out the smell. I know that must have been a traumatic experience, but the information you provided will aid in the investigation into what attacked and killed him. You’re both free to go.”
“Thank you Chief Dion,” Leon replies, standing up, taking you with him, “let’s get you home, angel.”
Angel. He’s been calling you that ever since he kissed you. You thought him calling you sweetheart made you flustered; angel is on a whole new level. It makes your heart practically pound out of your chest. Back out in the parking lot, Leon opens the passenger’s side door and you climb into the Jeep while Leon walks around, climbing into the driver’s seat.
“My car is still at your house…” you say as you put on your seat belt.
“I know, it’s fine. I’ll come pick you up tomorrow morning. Right now I think home is the best place for you.”
“Thank you, Leon.”
The drive from the police station to your house is about five minutes. In the back of your mind you wonder how Leon knew where you lived without you telling him, but you’re way too exhausted to question it. Leon pulls into your driveway and both of you get out, which puzzles you because you figured he is just dropping you off.
“You’re coming in?” you ask, tilting your head as you both walk up to the front door.
“Yeah, I figured I’d at least apologize for breaking your Dad’s nose.”
You can’t help but let out a soft chuckle as you open the front door, leading Leon inside your house. Your mother, standing in the kitchen, looking out the window over the kitchen sink, looks at you and lets out a sigh of relief.
“Oh thank goodness you’re ok! When Terry at the police station called, we were worried sick-- where’s your father?”
“He uh…” you begin, but Leon finishes your thought.
“There was a slight misunderstanding between himself and I at the station and we got into a fight. I may have accidentally broken his nose defending myself.”
“Mick attacked you?!” your mother exclaims, clearly mortified, “oh my god Leon I’m so sorry! Please, have a seat at the dining table, let me at least treat you to dinner.”
“Ma’am I promise you it’s fine--”
“You’re better off just letting her feed you, she won’t stop until you do,” you tell Leon with a giggle.
Leon lets out a chuckle, turning his attention back to your mother, “alright. I’d love to join you for dinner.”
“Go ahead and have a seat at the table, Leon. Hopefully Mick comes back and can fire up the grill for some burgers,” your mother says as she takes a bag of frozen french fries out of the fridge.
You and Leon sit at the table next to each other, Leon’s hand rests on top of yours, he gives your hand a gentle squeeze. As if on queue, the door to the garage suddenly opens, your father walking in. He appears to have some kind of cast on his nose.
He stops dead in his tracks upon seeing Leon seated at the dining table next to you, “you’ve got to be fucking kidding me…”
“Mick!” your mother scolds him as she gets the fries laid out onto a cooking sheet, “get the grill fired up so we can have some burgers. It’s the least you can do for attacking him.”
Mick groans, walking over to a plate where your mother had already made some beef patties. He looks over at Leon, narrowing his eyes at him.
“How do you want your burger, Leon?”
Leon looks over at your father, smirking at him, “as rare as you can make it, please.”
“Jesus… ok…”
Your father grabs the plate, opening a drawer to grab grilling supplies before heading out a sliding glass door to the backyard. Meanwhile, your mother gets the fries into the oven, setting a timer before she takes a seat at the dining table.
“So, Leon, what do you do for a living?” your mother asks, folding her arms in front of her.
“Well… I’m technically retired actually. I can’t go into too much detail because it’s classified but I used to be a kind of government agent,” Leon replies.
“You’re retired at 36? Good for you! You must get a pretty good pension then?”
Leon chuckles, his cheeks turning a touch pink, “you could say that, yes.”
You watch your mother glance where Leon’s hand is resting on yours, looking back to him and smiling, “is it safe to assume that you’re interested in our daughter?”
Leon’s hand immediately moves off yours, “ma’am I meant no--”
“Leon it’s fine, I’m not like Mick. It’s very clear that the two of you like each other. All I ask is that you treat her right.”
“Of course,” Leon replies, putting his hand back onto yours, making you blush a bit.
Your father comes back inside with the cooked burgers, setting the plate down onto the counter, “Leon’s barely cooked one is the one off to the side there.”
Your mother stands up from the table and begins putting the burgers together. Within a few minutes, the timer goes off letting her know the fries are done. She takes the fries out of the oven, plating them with the made up burgers.
She starts by getting Leon’s plate to him, “here you go, sweetie.”
“Thanks ma’am,” Leon replies.
“Oh please, call me Sandi. There’s no need to be formal here.”
Once all the plates are distributed, both your father and mother seat themselves at the table. You take a bite of your burger, looking over at Leon as he bites into his. You notice as he bites into his burger that his canine teeth seem to be really long and sharp. Leon notices you looking at him, raising his eyebrows and nodding his head towards you in acknowledgement. You shake your head, drawing your attention back to your burger. You’re probably just imagining things from all the stress today.
You all eat in silence, watching your father shoot daggers in Leon’s direction with his eyes occasionally. When the two of you finish dinner, you quietly excuse yourself to your bedroom, Leon following close behind you. Your father begins to protest, but you watch as your mother smacks his shoulder with the back of her hand. You head up the stairs, the heavy footfalls of Leon’s boots following behind you. Reaching the top, you walk up to your bedroom, grasping the handle, hesitating momentarily before opening it.
“Excuse the decor, this room hadn’t been touched since I was in high school. I’m still trying to get all the posters down.”
“No judgment from me, angel.” you hear him reply, your heart immediately fluttering in your chest as you turn the knob to open your bedroom door.
You walk into your bedroom, walking over to your bed and sitting on the side of it. Leon steps into the bedroom as well, closing the door behind him before walking over to the bed, sitting next to you. He turns towards you, his hand coming up to gently grasp the side of your neck, a playful smirk crossing his lips.
“Now then, where was I?”
Before you can even prepare yourself, Leon’s lips seal over yours, his hands grasping at your body as you shift yourself onto your bed even more. Leon wastes no time gently pushing you down onto your bed, caging you with his body as he continues to kiss you. His lips move from your mouth, to your cheek then finally trailing down to your neck. His name escapes your lips in a soft moan as your right hand runs through his hair. You feel his teeth gently graze your neck before he begins sucking love marks into the side of your neck. You can feel yourself hurtling towards the edge of your own pleasure when Leon suddenly stops, staring down at you, his blue eyes so dilated that his eyes almost look black.
“I should probably get going,” Leon whispers, leaning down to give you a gentle kiss on your forehead before he climbs off of you, standing back up.
“Do you have to…?” you ask, your voice pleading for him to stay as you sit up, once again sitting on the side of your bed.
“I do, I’m sorry angel. I’ll be back tomorrow to pick you up, I promise.”
You stand up, walking up to him and wrapping your arms around him to hug him. You feel him wrap his arms around your body, feeling his lips kiss the top of your head. After a few minutes, he lets go and both of you leave the bedroom, heading downstairs. You open the front door for him, both of you stepping out into the night. Leon leans down, giving you one last kiss on the lips before he turns, walking back to his Jeep, climbing inside and starting the engine. You lean against the threshold of the front door, watching Leon drive off into the night, your heart still pounding in your chest.

“How about that guy at the Basin today, huh Jake?”
Jake had been zoning out, staring at the small fire he and his best friend, Brad, had built off of one of the trails leading up to the summit of Mt. Liberty. His attention snaps to Brad, who has a shit eating grin on his face; he matches him with his own.
“Yeah dude, I thought for sure that glare was going to set us on fire. Do you think if we hadn’t said anything that they would have started fucking right there?”
“Oh no doubt,” Brad replies, grabbing a stick from beside him, using it to poke at the small fire, “you could tell she was really into it, too.”
For a few minutes, the two make small talk and crack jokes as they share a pipe filled with marijuana, each of them taking several hits on it. Brad suddenly stands up.
“I gotta take a massive piss, be right back,” Brad declares as he turns and heads into the depths of the woods.
“Watch out for hiker-eating monsters, might take a bite of your dick!” Jake says with a laugh as he takes another hit from the pipe, blowing out a large cloud of smoke from his mouth.
“Yeah, yeah, shut the fuck up Jake!” Brad calls out to him from within the woods.
Jake snickers, clearly amused with himself as he takes a few more hits off the pipe. He can hear rustling coming from the direction Brad had went, but passes it off to just being Brad until--
“Jesus Christ what the fuck is THAT?!”
“Brad?!” Jake calls out, reaching down to his bag to pull out a hunting knife and a flashlight, turning it on.
Immediately Jake hears Brad screaming, his voice carrying further away from the camp, so Jake makes chase.
“Brad! Where are you?! Are you ok?!” Jake calls out continually as he runs deeper and deeper into the woods.
He suddenly stops in his tracks when he starts to see blood splattered all over the ground, his flashlight slowly making its way to the source. What the flashlight finally settles on is almost incomprehensible. It is a man, but… not. He’s shirtless, wearing a pair of dark colored cargo pants with work boots. Dark veins sprawl across the exposed skin, but that’s not the weirdest part.
Four claw-like appendages are coming out of the man's back and a long, scorpion-like tail moves back and forth. The man’s mouth is latched onto his best friend’s neck, clearly sucking the blood out of him as the flashlight settles onto the man’s face; the flashlight can be seen visibly shaking. The man has short blonde hair with piercing red eyes that immediately shift to focus on Jake. The man… no… the creature takes its mouth off his friend, revealing two long, sharp canine teeth, reminiscent of a vampire. Blood drips from the fangs and its mouth as it starts to grin at Jake; it’s tongue licking the blood off its fangs.
“Holy fucking shit…” Jake mutters as he starts to walk backwards away from the creature.
The creature suddenly lunges at Jake, causing Jake to stumble backwards and start running as fast as he can in what he believes is the direction he came from. Jake tries hard not to look back to see if the creature is pursuing him. Unfortunately for him, though, his foot gets caught on a tree root that is sticking out of the ground, his ankle making a loud pop sound as he’s thrown onto the ground. The flashlight and hunting knife slip out of his hands, landing several feet away, landing so that the flashlight is pointing backwards from whence he came.
Jake hisses, turning onto his back before sitting up to check on his ankle; it’s clearly either broken or severely dislocated. Jake can hear footsteps, his gaze shifting up as they approach. He watches as boots appear in the flashlight’s beam, and as the creature stalks closer, he sees that it's standing upright, its back claws flexing and tail swinging back and forth as it gets even closer; soon Jake can see blood has dripped down onto the creature’s chest, the black veins on its skin now appearing darker than they had earlier. The creature’s blood stained mouth is smirking at him.
The last thing Jake remembers is the creature descending upon him, its mouth latching onto his neck as its fangs pierce into his skin. His blood curdling scream cut short when his throat is ripped out.

A couple days pass after you and Leon had found Nate dead, you wake up to get ready to go work at Leon’s house with the worst abdominal cramps. You almost roll out of bed, going into the bathroom after picking out your outfit for the day to find that you had unfortunately started your period and it had completely ruined your underwear. Sighing in frustration, you throw the underwear into the trash in the bathroom, opening up the medicine cabinet to take some Tylenol for the cramps.
After getting yourself cleaned up and dressed, you head downstairs into the kitchen to make yourself some toast for breakfast, clenching your lower stomach in an attempt to ease the pain, praying to every deity that the Tylenol would kick in soon.
“Oh sweetie, you don’t look so good! Are you alright?” you hear your mother ask as she comes into the kitchen.
“Yeah I’m ok, I got my… you know… I just took some Tylenol so that should hopefully kick in soon.”
Your mother walks over to the radio, turning it on before she then walks over to the coffee maker, hitting the button on it so that it would start brewing.
“So… what’s on the agenda today for my favorite remodeling couple?” your mother asks, giving you a playful smile.
You giggle, your cheeks turning red, “we should be finally finishing up the kitchen today. I think he wants to start the living room next.”
“Breaking news, authorities have now reported that two more hikers have gone missing in--”
“Mom, turn up the radio!”
Your mother turns her attention to the radio, turning up the volume.
“--Fish and Game officials have now officially closed all trails in Franconia Notch until the animal responsible can be found and euthanized.”
“Oh my god…”
“Quick let’s turn on Channel 9,” your mother says, grabbing your hand and leading you into the living room where she turns on the TV to the news.
“Good morning, New Hampshire. This just in, Fish and Game have just reported that two more hikers have been reported as missing. 22 year old Brad Shaw and 21 year old Jacob Duprey, both students at Plymouth State University were reported missing by University officials when they did not come back to campus for their classes--”
The picture of the two of them comes up on the TV, your eyes widen as you cover your mouth in shock.
“What is it, sweetie? Do you know them?”
“I didn’t know them, but Leon and I saw them the same day we found Nate dead on the Basin trail…”
“They should have closed the trails long before now… those poor hikers…”
Your father comes in, stopping to watch the news report playing on the TV, “Does anyone else think it’s odd that these attacks started happening shortly after Leon moved into Archie Mason’s place?”
Both you and your mother turn and look at your father; you raise an eyebrow at him, “Dad, you can’t be serious…”
“I am serious! The attacks started happening within a week of him showing up!”
“Dad, I saw Nate. There is no way a person could have done that to him!” you reply, raising your voice as you turn to face your father, approaching him.
“Then what else could it be then, huh?! How else do you explain what’s going on around here? He has to be connected somehow!”
“You’re just saying that because you don’t want me to see him!”
“Mick stop--”
“No Sandi, I won’t stop! There is something not right about him, I’m sure of it!”
“Honey now you just sound ridiculous…” your mom replies, stepping between you and your father, putting her hands on his shoulders.
“When he broke my nose… I didn’t like the look in his eyes… it wasn’t right… something isn’t right, god dammit!”
“Dad, come on!” you say, throwing your hands into the air and turning to go back into the kitchen to grab your toast.
“You get back here young lady! We’re not done!” your father roars from the living room, your mother now physically restraining him.
“I need to go to Leon’s house to work and you’re not stopping me,” you say, walking over to the coat rack next to the front door and putting on your denim jacket.
“You walk out that door and you are NOT allowed back, do you hear me?!” your father’s voice booms through the house.
“Mick, what is the matter with you?!” you hear your mother interject.
As much as your father got on your nerves sometimes, the statement hit deep and it hit hard, causing tears to well up in the corners of your eyes as you grab your purse. You walk up to the front door, hesitating for a moment before opening it. You blink your eyes shut, a tear running down your cheek as you wrestle with your conflicting emotions. Surely your father wasn’t being serious, right? You push the door open; as you step out you can hear your father shouting after you. You rush over to your car, whipping the door open and getting in just as your father bursts out the front door, his face red in rage as he stomps over, slapping his hands onto the hood of your car as you start it.
You immediately throw the car in reverse, backing out into the street and peeling off, your tires squealing on the pavement as you make the drive to Leon’s; at this point, tears are now streaming down your face. You could only hope that your mother could talk your father down. You get there in record time; it’s a miracle you didn’t run into any cops and get pulled over, however, you reckon they’re probably out looking for the latest hikers to go missing. Parking your car in its usual spot outside of Leon’s house, you go inside, dropping off your jacket and purse before proceeding to the kitchen.
Leon is already hard at work, installing the last of the kitchen cabinets. He hears you come in, he turns to you, giving you his trademark smirk that never fails to give you butterflies.
“Mornin’ angel!” he says, suddenly noticing your eyes are red and puffy, “hey… what’s wrong?”
You waste no time grabbing your paint roller and paint, pouring some into the pan before rolling the paint roller in it, “sorry… I got into a fight with my Dad this morning before coming here.”
“About what?”
You stop just before you begin to roll paint onto the wall, taking a deep breath before you reply, “about you. He thinks you’re somehow involved with the attacks on the hikers.”
Leon scoffs, “that’s ridiculous.”
“That’s what my Mom and I said, but he wasn’t having any of it. He said to me just as I was leaving that if ‘I walked out that door that I wouldn’t be allowed back.’”
Leon shakes his head, groaning in disgust, “I really don’t like how he treats you, angel.”
“I’m just hoping Mom can talk to him, get him to see just how ridiculous he sounded that way I feel better going home tonight.”
“Stay here tonight.”
Your eyes widen as you look over at him, “Leon, I can’t ask that of you.”
“It would make me feel better if you stay here tonight. I want to make sure you’re safe.”
“Leon, I'll be fine, I promise. My Dad would never hurt me,” you reply, focusing on finishing painting the last kitchen wall.
“You seem to be forgetting that your father tried to strangle me.” Leon said in a ‘as a matter of fact’ kind of tone.
The worst part is, he’s right. Your father had tried to strangle him. Your father has always been quick to anger but you’d never seen him lay a finger on anyone until that day in the police station. Your father was clearly becoming more and more unhinged; especially with this recent allegation that Leon is somehow involved with the hiker attacks.
“Alright… I’ll stay here tonight.”
Immediately you notice Leon’s whole expression light up before he returns his focus on the final kitchen cabinet. The two of you finally finish up the kitchen, it being late afternoon by the time you do so. Both of you work on moving the supplies into the living room, but as you start to pour more paint into the pan Leon stops you.
“Let’s call it a day, angel. We can start the living room tomorrow since you’ll already be here.”
You nod, putting the lid back on the paint, grabbing a nearby hammer to hammer the lid back down. You sense Leon walk up from behind you, his arms wrapping around your waist as he rests his chin on your shoulder. He gently rocks you back and forth before placing a kiss onto your cheek.
“Want me to order us some pizza, angel?”
“That sounds perfect, Leon,” you reply; you can’t help but smile.
He places another kiss on your cheek before walking back into the kitchen, you hear him pick up the phone that’s hanging up on the wall in there and place an order for delivery. About 45 minutes later, the pizza arrives and Leon gets it, paying the delivery driver before coming into the living room with it while you relax on the couch, channel surfing on his TV.
“Go ahead and dig in, I have to check something in the basement really quick, ok?” he says as he sets the pizza box onto the coffee table, giving you a quick kiss on the top of your head.
You watch him go out into the hallway, approaching the padlocked door. He takes his keys out of his pocket, unlocking the padlock and opening the door, listening to him descend the stairs. There’s a part of you that wants to follow him into the basement, just to see what is down there, but you don’t, you remain on the couch as you open up the pizza box, grabbing a slice and biting into it. Some time passes, however, and Leon still hasn’t come back up yet. Before you can decide to go check on him, you hear him coming up the stairs, watching as he walks out, locking the door with the padlock before joining you on the couch.
He positions himself so that he’s behind you, having you seated between his legs as the two of you lay on the couch, eating pizza and watching some sitcom that you landed on as you were channel surfing. Your lower stomach suddenly cramps up, causing you to visibly and audibly wince in pain.
Leon immediately notices, “you ok, angel?”
“Yeah sorry… this is probably too much information but I started my period this morning. The Tylenol I took this morning must be wearing off.”
“Oh you poor thing,” Leon whispers in your ear, his hand snaking its way to your lower stomach, massaging his hand into it as he gives you gentle kisses on the side of your neck.
Despite your cramps, his touch felt incredible and you find yourself turning into putty in his embrace. You’re suddenly startled by the sound of Leon’s phone ringing from the kitchen.
“Something tells me that’s my father, I’ll go answer it.” you say as you get up off the couch.
“You sure, angel? I can get it,” Leon replies as he gets up, following behind you.
“It’s fine, I’ve got it,” you say, walking into the kitchen, picking up the ringing phone, “hello? Kennedy residence.”
“Of course you’re still at his house…” you hear your father say on the other end, you look over at Leon, giving him a slight nod to let him know your suspicions had been correct.
“Hello to you, too, Dad,” you say, trying to make your irritation clear in your voice.
“You need to come home right now.”
“Really? Because I clearly remember you saying if I went to work this morning that I wouldn’t be welcomed back.”
“Well I’d rather you be here than with him. If you don’t come home, I will call the police.”
“Dad, you can’t call the cops, I’m an adult!”
At this point, Leon must have had enough because he steps up beside you, grabbing the phone from you, “if you call the cops, Mick, I will report you for making a false report. I used to be a cop; you can’t pull the wool over my eyes.”
He used to be a cop? you think to yourself, biting your bottom lip as you picture him in a police uniform.
You can’t understand what your father is saying to him, but you can tell he’s yelling because Leon holds the phone about a half an inch away from his ear, closing his eyes and letting out a long exhale through his nose.
“Well since you’re so keen on shoving your nose where it doesn’t belong, will you stop yelling at me long enough to explain?”
You watch as Leon brings the phone back to his ear.
“What I’m about to tell you does not get repeated under any circumstances or I will have you arrested. I am a government agent, not a retired one. The branch I work for is called the Division of Security Operations, specializing in dealing with Bio-Organic Weapons, B.O.W.s, and I’ve been sent here to locate and kill a B.O.W. that got loose and is now wreaking havoc on those hiking trails. There. Are you happy now?”
Your eyes widen in shock not only at Leon’s admission, but at the fact there is some kind of weapon… a monster, loose in the forest.
“Yeah I hope you’re fucking sorry,” Leon continues, “however she’s still staying with me. In fact, I might even have her move in with me, if she wants to, of course.”
Leon looks over at you, giving you a playful wink as you digest what he just said. You feel your stomach twist into knots.
“Your days of controlling your daughter are over, you hear me? She and I will have a chat about her moving in and you’re going to accept whatever she decides to do. Take care of yourself, Mick,” Leon finishes as he slams the phone back on the receiver.
The two of you stand by the phone in silence, your mind spinning.
“I know that was probably a lot to take in just now, but unfortunately the same applies to you, if you repeat that to anyone, I’ll have to have you arrested, too,” Leon says as he places his hands on your hips, pulling you gently to him.
You quickly shake your head, looking up into his ocean eyes, “o-of course not! I won’t say a word to anyone, promise!”
“Good girl,” he purrs, leaning down to give you a kiss on the lips.
After the two of you break the kiss, you continue, “do you really want me to move in with you? You don’t think that’ll be moving too fast?”
Leon smiles down at you, “I have never been more sure of anything in my life, angel.”
You gather that Leon can feel your hesitation, he wraps his arms around you in a protective hug, resting his chin on top of your head.
“Stay here for a few nights, then see how you feel, how does that sound?”
“O-Ok… I can do that, Leon.”
Tumblr media
Leon is in heaven, or at least as close to heaven as he’ll ever get. After getting his angel to stay with him at least a couple nights, he got her back into the living room and back onto the couch, where he has her between his legs, his arms wrapped around her as the both of them ate the pizza he ordered and mindlessly watched TV.
He was grateful that her father had called, having pulled the government agent story out of nowhere to get Mick off his ass, at least until he could find a way to get him out of the picture. He is clearly protective of his offspring and for Leon, that is a problem; he may have gotten Mick off his ass now, but it was only a matter of time before Mick would be back on it again.
The subtle scent of blood lingers in the air, he smelled it as soon as his angel had come into the house. She didn’t have to tell him she was on her cycle, he already knew. He had to make an impromptu trip into the basement to quench his thirst because of it. As the night wears on, he feels her become totally limp in his embrace as sleep takes her. He takes the remote from her hands, flipping it to the news where they’re reporting on the two missing hikers from Plymouth State University. What would his angel do if she knew one of them was in the basement right at this moment, barely clinging to life to serve as his meal?
It was a good thing he grabbed the other hiker and brought him here as he watches the report that they’re closing all the hiking trails in Franconia Notch. He’d have to find another way to get his meals. He might have to expand his hunting radius but he’d worry about that later. Soft snores from his angel break his thoughts, he looks down at her, giving her a gentle smile. He slowly moves out from under her before picking her up in his arms, carrying her bridal style up to his bedroom. Once in his bedroom, he approaches the bed, gently laying her onto it. She stirs in her sleep, her eyes opening slowly.
“Leon?” her voice barely a whisper as she fights her fatigue.
“I just brought you up to the bedroom, it’s ok,” he replies, running his fingers through her hair, “go ahead and get yourself comfortable, I’ll just be in the bathroom for a minute.”
Going into the bathroom, he turns on the light and shuts the door behind him. Pulling off his shirt, he lets himself relax for a minute; the black veins slowly appear as they sprawl over his skin, his eyes turning red as he stares at himself in the mirror. He’s hopeful that he won’t have to hide his true nature from her for too much longer; once he gives her his gift, he’ll show her that he’s the perfect mate for her.
He inhales deeply, rolling his head; slowly the black veins start to disappear once more and his eyes are back to their brilliant ocean blue. Discarding his pants and boxers, he finds a pair of gray sweatpants, putting them on before opening the bathroom door back up and shutting the bathroom light off. He sees she’s under the covers, her shirt and pants laying in a pile next to the bed. He approaches the opposite side of the bed where she lay, getting himself under the covers with her, wrapping his arms around her as he closes his eyes.
✧⭒⭒✧
However, no matter how much he chases sleep, it never comes. The subtle scent of blood is still driving his hunger wild. Meanwhile, she is sound asleep on her side; he watches as her chest gently rises and falls with each breath she takes. He gingerly tosses the covers off of both of them, admiring her nearly nude form. He fought with himself for a moment, not wanting to feed off her to sate his hunger; then, he has an idea.
He positions himself at the end of the bed, gently rolling her so that she’s on her back. Hooking his fingers onto the hem of her underwear, he slowly pulls them down off her, slipping them off her legs before tossing them onto the floor with the rest of her clothes. He gently parts her legs, taking a moment to admire her cunt; he practically salivates when he sees the telltale string coming out of her. He climbs on top of her, being careful not to wake her as he wraps his index and middle finger around the tampon string, slowly pulling it free. Once it’s out of her, he climbs off her, walking into the bathroom for a moment to discard it before coming back to her, nestling himself between her legs. The smell of her blood is overwhelming now as he brings himself within inches of her hole.
His fangs descend in his mouth, but he doesn’t care, she won't be able to see them in the low light, not like he can see her. He runs his tongue up her slit, his lips then sealing themselves over her clit as he gently sucks on the sensitive bud. He then slips two fingers inside her, curling them upwards inside her to stimulate her g-spot; he hears her moan softly, her hips gently shifting beneath him.
“Wha--” he hears her say as she rouses from her slumber, quickly realizing he is in between her legs, “L-Leon! What are you doing?!”
He unlatches himself from her clit, looking up at her and smiling while he continues to fuck her with his fingers, “shhhhh it’s ok… just let me take care of you. It’ll help your cramps, I promise.”
“But I’m on my-- oh my god…!” she attempts to protest, but is cut off by her own moan as she lays her head back onto her pillow.
He watches with delight as her hips move in time with his fingers digging into her, his pupils dilating as blood begins to seep onto his fingers.
“Doesn’t that feel good, angel?” he purrs as he slowly pulls his fingers out of her, taking a moment to clean his fingers off like a lollipop.
The sudden wave of euphoria hits him like a train; her blood tastes divine, unlike anything he has ever tasted ever since he was given his gift. Looping his arms around her thighs, his mouth dives back between her legs, his tongue forcing its way inside her. He lets out a low growl as her blood flows into his mouth, unable to contain himself as he fucks her with his tongue. Her fingers tangle themselves in his hair, pushing down so that he stays there; clearly she’s enjoying herself, much to his delight.
Her legs violently tremble in his grasp as she edges closer and closer to her release and he doesn’t relent, his nose pressing into her swollen clit as his tongue continues to devour her. With a loud cry, she finally comes on his tongue, a mix of her arousal and her blood flowing freely into his mouth, which he happily swallows. He reluctantly unlatches his mouth from her entrance, blood dripping down his lips and chin and onto the sheets. As much as he wants to lick her blood off his lips, he doesn’t, instead wiping it from his mouth on the back of his forearm before he proceeds to slip off his sweatpants, his erection springing free from its fabric prison.
He strokes himself momentarily before he settles his hips between her legs, pressing the head of his cock against her hole. Before he pushes himself inside her, her hand comes up, pressing against his chest to stop him.
“Do you have protection?” she asks, the nervousness clear in her voice.
“I mean, I have a 9mm in my nightstand…”
She playfully punches his shoulder as she giggles, “that’s not what I mean!”
He lets out a chuckle, clearly amused with himself, “unfortunately I wasn’t expecting you to stay the night, so I didn’t think to buy condoms, angel. We can stop now if you want to.”
Please, don’t say stop.
“Promise you’ll pull out,” she says softly, her arms caressing his biceps as she looks up at him longingly, "I want this… I want you…"
He smiles down at her, relieved, as he brings his hand up to caress her cheek, “I promise.”
She gives him a gentle nod, giving him the ok to continue, shifting his gaze down to where their two bodies meet as he slowly pushes himself inside her. It takes everything in him to take it easy with her, his primal need to breed screaming in his subconscious.
He stops about halfway inside her, looking back up into her eyes, “let me know if it hurts, ok?”
“It’s fine… it actually feels really nice. Keep going,” she replies, he smiles when her cheeks start to turn red; he loves how flustered she gets around him.
He then continues to push himself inside her until he’s balls deep. He can already feel her squeeze around his cock; a miracle that didn’t make him cum on the spot.
“I’m going to start moving now, ready?” he whispers, stroking her cheek again to reassure her.
He watches her nod again and he cages her body beneath him as he begins to thrust into her. He leans down, sealing his lips over hers, moaning into the kiss as her arms wrap around him.
“Fuck, angel, you’re so fucking tight… you’re perfect…” Leon growls, his thrusts becoming faster and more powerful.
“Leon… oh f-fuck…! I’m… oh god…!” she cries out, becoming a moaning mess as he pounds into her.
With each thrust he feels the head of his cock kiss her cervix, driving his instinct to breed her wild. He sits up onto his knees, grabbing her legs and looping his arms around them as he chases his release. His angel cries out, feeling her grab his forearms as she cums on his cock. The feeling of her release nearly pushes him over the edge; he pulls out of her before that happens, giving himself powerful strokes with his hand before ropes of cum spill onto her stomach, marking her as his.
As both of them come down from their high, he stares down at her, admiring how lovely she looks covered in his seed, even though he’d rather have it inside her, leaking out of her hole. Subtle movement in his seed catches his attention; a larva from his gift squirming about. Before she has a chance to notice it, he reaches over to his nightstand, grabbing the box of tissues from it and pulling out a few sheets.
“Such a dirty girl you are, angel,” he coos, cleaning up his cum along with the larvae.
Thankfully, she's too cock drunk to even realize what he just cleaned up, her eyes closed as she takes deep, heavy breaths as her body trembles beneath him from her own orgasm.
He takes a moment to lick her blood from his hand while his angel’s eyes are closed. Standing up from the bed, he leans down and places several kisses on her cheeks and forehead.
“How was that, angel?” he asks, smirking.
He watches her eyes slowly open, looking at him with complete admiration as she continues to take deep breaths, “that was perfect. You were right, it did actually help with the cramps.”
“It’s like I know what I’m talking about,” he replies with a chuckle as he gently coaxes her out of bed by taking hold of one of her hands, “come here, angel, let’s get cleaned up and get some sleep, hm?”
The two of them go into the bathroom, Leon making sure to toss the tissue into the toilet and flushing it before the two of you get into the shower to clean up. Once finished, he guides her back into bed, holding her in his protective embrace as they both drift off to sleep.
✧⭒⭒✧
The next morning, the sound of pounding at the front door awakens him, his eyes slowly opening as he lets out a groan. The pounding at the door continues, which causes his angel to stir in her sleep.
“What’s that noise… Leon…?” she asks, her voice slurred from her slumber.
“Don’t worry, I’m going to go check, keep getting rest, angel,” he replies, giving her a kiss on the top of her head as he climbs out of bed, grabbing his sweatpants and putting them back on before heading downstairs to answer the door, “I’m coming, you can stop pounding my door down!”
“Good morning Leon, sorry to bother you,” Chief Dion says as Leon opens the door, “got a few minutes to chat?”

___
Fancy hotel suites might just be the biggest perk of marrying a Hollywood superstar. Room service whenever you want, plush robes to relax in, a balcony view of Los Angeles’ glimmering lights, and a large plush bed perfect to fit two… or three bodies.
Sure, you could have stayed home and waited for the car service to bring Dieter home after the premiere, but when the studio offers a free hotel suite, you and Dieter happily accept. You love to get fucked by your husband in a new bed.
You’ve just dove into your new book, laid out on the chaise lounge of the balcony, sunning yourself in the early evening Summer sun when your phone dings with its customary Dieter ding.
He should be getting ready for the movie premiere; what does he need to tell you?
You unlock your phone to a pic of Dieter sadly pointing to a large brown stain on his crisp, light blue shirt.
Baby, this just happened.  Did you pack a backup? Nope. Do you have anything of mine here? Just your old Rage Against The Machine shirt I was wearing earlier.  Sold. I’ll take it. I’ll send Julien up to grab it.  Go have him buy a shirt. It has holes...  Nope. Now that I thought of having your scent on me all night, I need to wear it. Spray it with that perfume you use… Fine. You win. Love you baby. xoxo
You wonder why his team of publicists, assistants, and agents let Dieter style himself… or why they never remember to pack him an extra shirt.
He’s the love of your life, your uber famous partner, deserving of all of the rekindled fame, now sober and in the best place he’s been, thanks in large amounts to your influence.
You walked into his life weeks after his divorce, a man lost with a floundering career. He was too dangerous to work with, too manic, too unreliable. Then, you came in and helped pick his life up, as a favor to your friend Chrissy, his tenacious agent. You’re never supposed to fall in love with a client, but Dieter was just too irresistibly charming. You fucked him in your office after his third session. All of that hard work and student debt that earned you a psychology degree ended up getting you a diamond on your left ring finger and a dream wedding full of Hollywood elites.
You spritz the faded black shirt with your signature perfume and fold it for Julien to expeditiously deliver back to your husband. The wild life of a celebrity wife…
___
Your phone is propped up against a crystal vase that probably costs more than your first car streaming the red carpet premiere and Q&A of Dieter’s newest movie. You chose to sit this gigantic blockbuster event out, but it doesn’t mean you can’t support him from the comfort of this five star hotel room.
Your heart skips when the camera pans to Dieter getting out of the car. There he is, your celluloid husband, clad in all black, wearing the holey t shirt he just fucked you in before leaving you this afternoon.
The barriered crowd goes wild when they spot him. He smiles that megawatt smile, his signature dimples pressing into his golden skin. He’s so fucking beautiful.
You’re so proud of Dieter, you can hardly believe your husband is the star of the biggest summer film, standing tall and handsome with flash bulbs sparking across his face. You’re enamored by him, even when he’s a tiny square being live-streamed through your phone.
He joins his co-stars for a quick interview, his famous charm and humor is on full display, the crowd, host and co stars all laugh at his jokes. He truly is the golden boy of the red carpet.
You wonder if anybody else notices how he reaches for the hand of Greta, the actress who plays his wife in the film, when he realizes she’s nervous, much the same way he grabs your hand when you get anxious, being dragged to Hollywood parties and random awards shows. He’s always so thoughtful.
The interviewer asks Greta what it was like to act along with Dieter and play his wife. She laughs and blushes, Dieter’s arm rubs up and down her back, cuddling her closer to his body as she explains how wonderful of a man he is, how she felt very lucky to star in a movie with him.
She’s absolutely stunning in her form fitting gold dress, you’re watching all of this for your husband and yet Greta keeps stealing your attention, lean, elegant, and absolutely radiant. You think to yourself how badly you want to fuck her.
Dieter and the crew wave to the crowd and cameras thanking everybody for attending the red carpet, you smile at the sight of his gold wedding band before shutting the app down and opening the room service menu. It’ll be two hours until you hear from him after the movie. Time for an episode of Dateline.
___
You’re in a post grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup coma, the cops have just solved the triple homicide in the sleepy New England town when your phone beeps with the Dieter ding.
Movie’s out. have to deal with after party then back to u. Miss u like crazy xoxoix !! Hi! Have fun!  Did u watch the red carpet? I did. You looked fucking hot.  Ya? I actually liked the shirt, it made me think of this afternoon… Me too baby Greta looked amazing, I was almost watching her more than you. Don’t you think she looked good? Of course I did  I think she likes you… saw a video on Twitter that makes me really see the goddamn chemistry you wouldn’t shut up about during filming. She said i smelled good tonight I told her ur the one to thank She can smell me anytime she wants. 😮 baby... Tell me D, do you miss kissing her now that filming is over? I know how you look at her, I’ve seen the previews and press appearances. Go ahead and tell me, baby.  dunno about miss, but i did like kissing her What if I were to ask you to kiss her tonight… 😮 Oh? And film it for me.  ohhhhhhhhh I can do that for you baby Go find her then.  I’ll be waiting God baby I’m glad i married you Xoxo
The giddiness that courses through your body makes a big smile bloom across your face. You sit back against the soft cushions and imagine Dieter tucking his phone in his pocket and setting forth on his mission. Waiting for it is so hot.
___
The Dieter ding buzzes. You’ve never been this excited to pick your phone up.
Dieter Bravo Attachment: 1 Movie
Your hands are practically shaking when you touch the little bubble on your phone. There, in the freeze frame stands your husband and his beautiful co-star.
You hit play.
Greta smiles at the camera before she purrs out, “Hi, Dieter says this is for you.”
She’s so beautiful in the dim video, her silver eyeshadow glistens under the flash, her big blue eyes already look blown out with lust; you wish you were the one who was about to kiss her plush lips. If she’s willing to do this for him, you don’t doubt for a second how attracted she is to your husband. Dieter winks at the camera before turning to Greta, clutching his hand on her cheek and sealing his lips against hers. It’s… so fucking hot. You can hear the distant sound of laughter and conversation of the party goers just below the sounds of Dieter and Greta’s tongues tangling. You wish you could taste both of them, now you’re really regretting staying back. The camera grows more unsteady the deeper the kiss grows. He sucks her bottom lip, you can almost feel the slight tinge of pain, god you want to feel it. Dieter pulls away, and turns Greta’s face towards the camera.
“You want to kiss my wife, Starlet?”
“I do,” she answers.
Dieter lets out a low chuckle before winking at the camera and ending the recording.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. You’re already soaked from that short video.
Dieter has been so good during his sober journey, being honest and forthright when he's tempted, allowing the help of counselors and his Narcotics Anonymous sponsor. You've stood by his side as he's made huge strides to conquer his addictions. His old vices are now replaced by a new vice... sex. You're so proud of him, you want to reward him... and yourself.
Jesus Christ D.  U like? Can’t stop thinking about u watching that video baby I like it… a lot. Fuck!  Greta wants to kiss me? Think she wants u more than she wants me... I’d like to meet her. I’d like you to meet her too baby Is she busy after the party? Seems like tonight would be a good night for us to meet. Maybe she wants to come back to our room?  If that’s what u want baby It’s what I want D. Okay baby
___
The click of the keycard entering the lock alerts you to Dieter and Greta’s arrival. You rise from the couch, smoothing out the wrinkles of your simple blue dress.
“Hi baby,” Dieter smiles, his eyes twinkling with adoration.
Greta follows him in, she’s even more beautiful in real life.
“Hi,” Greta smiles, her eyes spark with lust as she looks you up and down. “Nice to finally meet you.”
“Yeah,” you breathe out, “you too.”
Dieter’s head bobbles back and forth, caught up in the chemistry that sparks between his wife and his co-star.
There is so much anxiety coursing through you but the sheer desire for Dieter and Greta easily obscures any second thoughts.
He walks over to you, planting a searing kiss on your lips and wraps you in his strong arms.
“I missed you baby,” he says before kissing you. He pulls away, his soft, brown eyes roam your face. “Are you sure about this?”
You glance at Greta, focusing on her soft pink lips. “Extremely.”
“Excellent. Now, come here, let me show you off to her,” he grabs your hand and leads you to the middle of the room. “Want to show you my girl, starlet, go ahead and take a seat.”
Greta sits on the sofa, settling in her dazzling golden dress. You feel underdressed compared to her beautiful designer clothing and Dieter’s close to perfect look. No paparazzi in their right mind would want pictures of you in your pale blue dress, but the way Greta’s eyes roam your body and the way Dieter runs his hands up your back and grabs your ass, you feel like you just won an Oscar.
“See her tits?” Dieter wraps his arms around your torso, bringing his hands up to cup your breasts in his hands cupping around the silk of your dress. “They feel so fucking good in my hands, they’re so soft and bounce in my face so perfectly when she rides me. You want to see her tits starlet?”
Greta nods.
He slips the straps of your dress down your arms exposing your breasts to the cool hotel air and Greta’s eyes.
He pulls you against his body, grinding his crotch against you moving his hands back up to cup the weight of your breasts.
Greta watches, blue eyes wide as Dieter pinches and pulls at the peaks of your nipples.
“Watch this starlet,” he lifts his hand and softly smacks one of your breasts, causing a moan to leave your lips, your body falls even harder against his body. “She fucking loves when I do this.”
His hands snake down your torso, pushing your dress to fall down and pool at your feet leaving you bare naked for Greta to see.
Her tongue darts out to lick her lips, as her eyes travel over your naked form.
“Isn’t she magnificent, starlet?”
She arches an eyebrow. “Quite.”
Dieter walks forward, pushing you towards the couch Greta sits on, still looking just like she walked off the red carpet, perfectly put together like a goddess.
He stops at the marble coffee table, grabbing your leg and lifting it to perch on the top.
His wide hand runs up your leg and pets your thigh.
“You like my wife?” his voice is low and rumbly against you. There's a bit of possessiveness to it.
“I do, she’s gorgeous.”
“She is. Isn’t she?” he says with pride.
His hand moves closer to your pussy, now dripping for him and your guest. “See, starlet, this is my pussy,” your body tenses as he dips a finger through your folds, “and she’s fucking soaked for me.” He brings his finger dripping with your wet to his lips and licks it, a moan leaves his lips when he tastes you. “Come here and taste her.”
Greta rises from the couch, walking over to stand next to Dieter. She's even more exquisite up close.
His hand returns to your pussy, petting and rubbing making you weak in the knees.
“She’s so fucking wet for us, starlet.”
You whimper at the sensation of the hard stone of his ring rubbing against your clit. He pulls his hand away, admiring the way your wetness stretches across his fingers.
His fingers are placed against Greta’s lips. She opens her mouth wide, accepting his drenched digits, Dieter groans as she licks your juices off of his skin.
Just four hours ago, they were watching the premiere of their movie together while you watched a rerun of Dateline… now the three of you are locked in the beginning of a ménage à trois. Isn’t it funny how Hollywood works?
__
Conversation flows easily between the three of you. You love the way Greta teases Dieter, how she laughs at your jokes. She fits perfectly in to your married comfortability.
You’re naked atop Dieter's lap, Greta sits next to you, her hand rests on your thigh lightly petting it almost as an ever present reminder of what the three of you are here to do. You can’t believe how comfortable you are in this situation.
“Shall we take this to the bed?” Greta offers as you and her share a glass of champagne. Dieter happily sips his Topo Chico, his eyes lit with mirth watching his wife and friend enjoy each other’s company.
“I’d like that,” you say, turning to her and downing the rest of the glass of bubbly champagne.
“Great,” she smiles, standing up and slinking off her gold dress before laying on the bed and taking her panties off.
“She is… tenacious, isn’t she?” you muse as Dieter hugs you close and kisses your shoulder.
“She is,” he chuckles.
“You ready?” he asks.
“I’m ready,” you get up from Dieter’s lap, he rises behind you before turning you to face him.
He holds your face in his hands, his brown eyes rounded with softness, an adoring grin on his face. “You really want to do this baby?”
You bark a laugh out. “Honey, she’s already naked in bed, of course I do.”
His eyes darken, his grin replaced with a searing smolder, the same smolder that drives millions of women and men crazy, “I love you.”
“I love you too, now let me eat her cunt while you watch.”
“Jesus, alright baby,” he grabs your hand, leading you to bed before removing his shirt and pants. He takes a seat on the chair by the window to observe.
Greta lays in front of you, splayed out amongst the white sheets, her skin looks so creamy and delectable. You climb over her, smelling the sweet scent of her perfume. She giggles when you knock your nose against hers, a giddy smile is shared between the two of you before locking lips. Kissing her is different from kissing Dieter, gentler, sweeter, softer. Her tongue is much smaller, her whimpers and breaths pitch higher. You lay your body against hers, fuck, she’s just as soft as you thought. Velvety smooth and sweet. Your breasts sit against hers, your soft and her soft resting against each other. Your pussy and hers radiate heat against one another when you angle your hips against hers. You kiss a line down to her neck, nipping and sucking at her skin… she faintly tastes of sugary coconut. You look over at Dieter while kissing, he winks before you stick your tongue out and lick one of her nipples. Delicious.
God, her tits are perfect. Perky, a little pointy, pink nipples the same exact shade of cherry blossoms, your favorite flowers. Your tongue runs across the small valley between her breasts, sliding across each nipple and back. Sucking hard against each, latching your mouth around it before letting it go with a pop. She’s writhing on the bed from your mouth and hands, your self esteem rockets higher as she loses herself under your touch.
Her smooth body runs along yours, her delicate hands grab at your skin, clawing and pressing the harder you suck her skin.
You kiss a trail down her tight stomach, licking grabbing her long legs and spreading them wide to reveal her perfect, milky skin surrounding her pussy. She’s drenched, absolutely dripping with her arousal, you lick up the spilled wetness on the bed sheets before licking up to her pussy. Her bright blue eyes focus on your mouth as you envelop her cunt with it. Buttery smooth and soaked, you taste the familiar hint of coconut in her wetness. Perfect.
Your tongue dashes against her clit, flattening and swirling, treating her like the glamorous Hollywood star she is by worshiping her beautiful body and cunt. Your tongue licks a line down her sweetness before darting into her sweet hole.
You feel the bed dip behind you, your heart explodes with the thrill of feeling Dieter’s broad body behind you, a large hand digs between your thighs, dipping two thick fingers into your cunt, opening you up for him. His thumb swishes across your clit, your tongue attempts to duplicate his movements against Greta’s pussy. He angles his digits perfectly, hitting that perfect sensitive spot inside of you, causing you to dive even further against Greta’s heat, trying to take every single drop of sweet nectar from her body. You cum all over Dieter’s hands, moaning and whimpering against Greta’s skin.
Greta clenches around you, her hips grind against your mouth as you lick an orgasm out of her. Your arms reach up to grab her tits and knead them in your hands.
“That’s my baby,” Dieter coos, pulling his hand from your pussy and slapping it against your ass, causing a loud moan to rumble against Greta's cunt.
He pulls your hips up, your bottom meets the rigid skin of his cock. He taps his thick member against your ass before spreading your legs, you bring two fingers to Greta’s leaking hole waiting for Dieter to take you so you can take her. His thick cock enters you, stretching you with that sweet sting you love to feel. Your fingers mirror his actions, slow pumps in and out of Greta, scissoring to stretch her like Dieter stretches you matching the rhythm of his movements.
His hand splays across your back, petting your spine as he starts slowly, languidly fucking you. The three of you dance to a sensual song, grunts and moan chorusing across the sound of your fingers and Dieter’s cock. It’s beautiful.
You happily suffocate against her pussy, licking through her folds and fucking her with your fingers while Dieter fills your slippery cunt. Your moans are muffled by her skin, Dieter’s grunts echo his thrusts.
Your body is slick with sweat, face soaked in Greta’s arousal, your cunt clenches around your husband's cock, your tongue sits steady against Greta's pussy as Dieter fucks an orgasm out of you. He holds your shaking hips close as he tells you how good you're taking him, how much he loves watching you eat Greta's pussy.
“This is all–nyugh–for you baby,” he groans, as he pulls out, Greta catches you in her arms as your body falls without his support. “Roll over, roll over baby,” he hoarsely gasps as he strokes his cock. You move to lay on your back, Dieter pulls your legs wide open right before he paints your pussy with his thick white ropes.
Dieter rises off the bed on shaky legs, before flopping his naked body into the chair. “Go on starlet, clean my girl up.”
She moves quickly, like she can’t wait to taste the two of you, settling between your thighs, lifting your legs over her delicate shoulders, spreading you wide open for her mouth. Greta’s breathy moan against your cunt makes your back arch while her tongue cleans your cunt covered in Dieter’s seed. She dips a finger into your entrance, swirling it around your sensitive walls, her one finger is nothing compared to your husband’s thick cock but god, does her gentle touch drive you wild. Her mouth seals over your clit, kissing and sucking your swollen bundle of nerves. Her head rises and lowers with each pump of your hips into the air, dancing right along with you as your pussy rises to another crescendo of an orgasm. You turn your head to look at Dieter, naked with his legs spread wide, sitting like a king on a throne. He mouths “I love you,” out of the lips you crave to kiss as your body tightens and releases with another climax.
Greta brings her lips to yours, licking into your mouth leaving the intoxicating swirl of flavors of your wetness and Dieter’s cum against your tongue. She breathily chuckles at your long exhale before laying next to you, pushing her soft curves against you and hooking her leg over yours.
Dieter walks over, naked and cocky, your superstar husband is in full effect even in the aftershock of your threesome. He kisses Greta’s cheek and whispers “thanks starlet” before leaning over, kissing your lips and cupping your cheek. “I love you baby,” he says, big brown eyes staring into yours. You return his smile before he turns towards the minibar and grabs a Kit Kat. Greta cuddles in closer to you on the bed, sometimes it’s good to have a movie star husband.

I Hope you dont get too tired with requests, take breaks and drink water!!!
Ok for the actual ask, may I have a dialogue 19 with Eyedress, and if it were suggestive it would be perfect
Preferably Ruggie💞 you can choose the other 2 (If you even want to)

ruggie bucchi x gn!reader [tags] — suggestive, tiny bit of hurt but not really [wc} - 1, 025 prompt 19 “I try to find a reason to pull us apart"” song: Kiss Me Like It’s the First Time (Eyedress, “Let's Skip to the Wedding”) note - Ruggie canonically calls you a puppy. take that with what you will. francesca (1k event)
Tumblr media
“Kiss me like it's the last time/ You'll fall in love / I always want your love”
Ruggie knows that compared to everyone else on campus, he was the bottom of the barrel. He wasn’t a prince, an heir to a fortune, or even from a well-off family. Sure, his Grandma was a wonderful lady, maybe a bit strict growing up, but besides her and their home, Ruggie didn’t have much to offer. Maybe if you weren’t in such a bad spot, if you had a good family here, if you hadn’t been plucked from your world with nothing but the clothes on your back, he’d be happy to call you his own.
But he can’t. How can he when you have people willing to drop thousands of thaumarks on you like it’s nothing. Literally! He was listening to Kalim run his mouth as he talked about renovating Ramshackle to your preference.
“Oh! And we can get you quartz countertops! What kind of colors do you like, I can have it made to your favorite aesthetic! Ooh, what if we replaced all the appliances to match it? The kitchen back home has a gas stove built into the countertop, we can replace—”
“Uh, I’d need gas for that though, right?” You laughed, splayed across Ruggie as you two lay in your bed. Kalim was on video call with you, having gone back home for the weekend for some sort of event. You’d been complaining about one of your kitchen cabinets breaking and letting your few plates tumble out. Thank the Seven that they were plastic dishes.
Kalim being, well, Kalim, immediately went into a tangent about adding in a gas line to your dorm and adding this and that. Everyone was acutely aware that Kalim, as generous and kind as he was, was especially sweet on you. There were even some rumors that he had a crush on you, something that made Ruggie feel ill.
You just laughed off Kalim as he continued to whine about fixing up the dorm. You ended the call as you cheerfully told Kailm goodnight.
“Do whatever you want Kalim, I won’t complain about free renovations! Good night, say bye Rugs.”
“Hmm? Oh, bye Kalim.” Ruggie gave Kalim a small smile and wave, who returned it with a beaming grin.
After a few more words between you and Kalim, you finally ended the video call, tossing your phone to the night stand, and moving to straddle Ruggie’s hips.
“What’s wrong?”
Ruggie blinked up at you in confusion. “What?”
“What’s wrong? Your ears are flat, they only go flat when you’re upset.” Ruggie whimpered as you leaned down to flutter kisses down his throat, shuddering as you pressed your teeth against his Adam's apple.
“You wanna tell me what’s wrong? You jealous?”
“Mmh, no I’m just—aaaAAAaaaAhH!” Ruggie yelped as you dug your teeth into the nape of his neck, suckling until you were satisfied with the bruising red mark forming on his skin.
“Geez, give a guy a warning, won’t ya?” Ruggie let out a breathless chuckle, his chest rumbling as he purred from each kiss you pressed up your neck as you hovered over his lips. “You’re nothing but trouble, Puppy.”
“And yet, you love this trouble, don’t you?” The sound of your kissing, mixed with gasps and sighs from both of you echoed in the room.
“Now tell me,” Ruggie tried following your lips as you pulled away, but you kept him pinned to the bed. By now, you’d managed to throw his shirt across the room and traced your nails down Ruggie’s chest. “Why are you upset? Was it Kalim’s call? You know, he just likes to say hi sometimes.”
Ruggie pinned his ears flatter against his head, huffing as he looked to the side, though be traced his hands up and down your arms.
“Nothin’, it’s just that Kalim sure likes to spoil ya. You know?”
You hummed, waiting for him to keep going.
“I’m just saying, he’s really sweet on you. Maybe you should consider taking advantage and marrying the guy!” Ruggie laughed, though it sounded forced.
He stopped as you clicked your tongue, leaning back down to bite at his cheek.
“Hey! You know your teeth aren’t really sharp enough for that.” Ruggie chuckled as you stopped and pouted, looking up at him as you batted your eyelashes.
“Hmph, it’s like you just wanna get rid of me.”
“That’s not what I meant—”
“That’s what it sounds like!” You argued, huffing into his neck as you pushed yourself against his chest and neck, like you were trying to mold yourself to him. “You always do this. If I didn’t want to be with you, I would’ve left already…”
Ruggie sighed, rubbing the skin between your shirt and bottoms with his thumbs. “I know, I know. I just think that you oughta take advantage. Kalim’s not the only one, and you’re all by yourself here! Get yourself a rich boyfriend, and you’re set for life!”
You suddenly grabbed the back of his head, pulling at his hair to make Ruggie expose his neck again. He whimpered at the rough touch, though his tail was wagging rapidly against the sheets.
“And why would I do that?” His hand slid under your shirt and up your spine. He gently scratched your back as you shuddered into his touch. “When I have such a lovely boyfriend?”
Lips molded against each other, teeth clashed, and hips rolled as Ruggie, once again, failed to push you away. Instead, as he slipped your shirt off and moved to give you your own love bites and hickeys, Ruggie moved to bring your bodies closer together. Ruggie let himself lose himself in you once again, and would continue to do so. Again and again, until he found another half-hearted excuse.
But for now?
You pulled away again, breathless and flushed. “I just want to spoil my hardworking hyena, won’t you let your Puppy do that?” The down right heady tone in your voice, in that low, soft whine, made him hot in all the right places. Ruggie nodded, giving you the okay to wreck him.
For now, he’ll indulge, shamelessly, in you. As long as you’ll continue to have him.

𝒮𝓊𝓃𝒹𝒶𝓎
He's a romantic man as well. Only want to do the best for you on this very special day. Showing up at your home with the fresh flowers that have been picked from the ground this very morning once you’ve taken the flowers, he just places a feather light on your hand almost as if it’s delicate like glass.
After that, you just spend some time together, but not until you see an event that piques both of your interests. Just some random event hosted for lovers to have a good time yet the big thing they advertised was a simple classical dance.
It's a pretty basic thing ever and not the first to be done but if you just wanna go for the fun of it, it wouldn’t hurt to dance and have some fun right?
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
“A dance, my dear.” Sunday holds his hand out for you to take, a charming smile on his face.  His eyes twinkle at you, and your heart races in response. You give him a timid smile as he takes your hand in his his other hand going to your waist, with yours going onto his shoulder.
Slow dancing with each other, the gentle sway of your bodies as well as the melody that fills the air around you both is almost hypnotic.
Your cheeks tingle from his sweet touch, and your heart thumps loudly in your chest. Your mind wanders off as you enjoy the moment.  Before he spins you around, mimicking the bright smile you have on your face "I'm so grateful to have you." You whisper, and you begin to blush.  His eyes light up with adoration as they look into yours.
Your heart does flips as he looks at you with such loving affection in his eyes.  He leans in closer and his lips brush over your cheek. The feeling of his breath against your skin causes your stomach to turn. he smiles at your reaction.
“Me? I am lucky enough to have you look my way.”  his soft voice sends shivers down your spine. You feel yourself blush more as he kisses you the lips softly, before leaning back once more.
"I'll still love you no matter how much time passes between us."
𝒥𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒴𝓊𝒶𝓃
He’s so romantic about it, even taking a day off (skipping out) from work, just so could plan out the entire day with you and have some fun together.
He planned everything out for you, his day off, going to the flower shop and the owner giving you such beautiful flowers since it's a special day, or how the owner of the chocolate store just randomly gives you the most expensive chocolate box saying “It's a romantic day, you deserve to be happy.” Everyone been saying that all day?
But the gifts don’t stop, jing yuan himself gives you something so special, a ring that is made of gold, making your heart jump. It looks so expensive. He didn’t have to! But you can’t take it back now or else he’ll get pouty with you, along with the excuse that “It’s a special day to show love and you must accept it.”
Last but not least, watching fireworks together since every year the designs that fireworks make in the sky, makes you wish the day would never end.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
Bursts of colour paint the night sky, each explosion accompanied by a symphony of crackles and booms. The vibrating colours mix to a spectacle of an image in the sky.
You wanted this day to never day. you could see the smile on Jing Yuan's face but it was directed towards the beautiful fireworks at you.  He looked at you with that look that always made your heart race, like a thousand fireflies flying around.
“Aren’t you going to even look at the fireworks?” You can’t help but ask, ah..is there something on your face or something?  Is that why he’s staring so much? “Want a better look?” he smiles —to your shock—picking you up from your feet as if you weighed nothing.
Jing Yuan’s strong grip on your waist with your legs automatically wraps themselves around his waist. the bright gold firework went off, illuminating his face—he looked so happy— you couldn’t help but give him some of your love–even if it’s just a fraction, he’ll still enjoy it–just leaning in and kissing him on the lips whilst your arms tightly wrapped themselves around his neck.
Just because the fireworks end doesn’t mean you have to.

Word count: 2.k
Warnings: idk?
Chapter 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(I’m sorry this like a time skip before the games)
“It’s me or Lucy are you willing to give your life away for her!” I said you wanted the plinth prize but it seems it’s a love show of Snow and Lucy grey” I say with a smile scoffing as I hold back tears “Your over reacting Y/N! I’m just trying to win you know my current situation you sound mad!” He spits back.
He doesn’t look back at me and bites his tongue and with that I know he’s made up his mind “her or me! Her or me please..” I say looking at him watery eyes rosy cheeks I swallow the pain in my throat “I wish you the best of luck and for her” I speak in a calm voice wiping my tears as I walk away my heels clicking to ground
Tumblr media
As I watch my tribute reaper gather the body’s one by one in the center of the arena my eyes begin to water his act of defiance takes a full on me and when he rips the capitols banner down to cover the body’s he looks into the cameras shouting I can’t control the tears in my eyes and walk away from the televisions and see Tigris’s at the exit smiling watching the tv.
I soon heard of the victory of Snow and Lucy grey I was happy for her win but I decided to not speak to Coriolanus and soon made my way home resting my head in my pink silk sheets as I change into a much compterable formal look negreo I knew it days began to fly then weeks I soon got heard of how Coriolanus was sent away to one of the distracts which hurt to here he really did anything for Lucy..
I put up my mask for every social event every gathering the perfect daughter of a well named man in the capitol but when I was home I locked myself in my room taking care of myself my mind slipping to the memories of Coriolanus white blond curls causing me to form sweat small smiles.
I was soon going on dates my mother and father had made for me I obliged some guys were sweet but stuck up or handsome and cocky I soon to think my soulmate had left and I’d have to be alone until one.. Devesh Sebastian the son of a politician he was different form the rest brownish locks that looked beautiful in the sun his eyes a light brown and sometimes gold if you looked at them in a right amount time his hair was long but a small pointy tail in the back leaving a few strand hair in the front, he dress himself nice white buttons up with a black tie black vest black coat and ideal man.
We soon got together and I brought up my heath curling hair with a bow light pink heels a white ish pinkish dress that’s beautiful land a white fur coat for an event a apply pinkish red lipstick and lip gloss (the ideal outfit it is in the bottom)
As I enter with Devesh my hand on his arm smiling giggling to his jokes and kiss him on the cheek and we part ways as I say hello to my parents and family friends and introduce myself to people I wonder what’s this event for I walk over to my mother “what’s this event for mother?” She soon reply’s in simple words “oh just this man reentering the capitol I think” she says as I nod and walk over to the drinks and grab two glasses of champagne and hear footsteps behind me.
“Oh sorry my dress is a big I’ll get out your way!” I say with a sweet smile “No need” a masculine voice responds that sounds familiar and I soon turn to face…Coriolanus snow but now his appearance is different his hair is cut shorter and styled some way back white colar red vest red coat red and red pants black shoes he’s cleaned himself so well “oh my Coriolanus! It’s so nice to see you once again!” I say with a sweet tone my voice like honey as I place down the glasses and hug him and grab the champagne glasses again.
“Y/n you look so beautiful this evening I thought I’d not see you until 20 years” he chuckles he mite look different but the way he is still feels the same “how’s it been I heard that you were sent to distract 12 to see Lucy?” I say as I’m confused on what happened “things changed different view points but I was able to come back to study under Dr. Volumnia” he speaks in a bold tone with a small smirk.
“Oh well I’m sorry to hear the part about Lucy but happy that it worked out in the end for you I have to go though bye! Croyo” I say as I walk away with the drinks in my hand to Devesh as he watches we walk away he clenches his fist as he sees me with another man thinking to him self who is that man is that her boyfriend did she not wait for me?

Hiiii I love your Mike content 😭💗!!! I was wondering if you could write headcannons about Mike developing a crush on the older sister of one of Abby’s friends? Like they meet at a school event or something </3 I can’t stop imagining him arranging sleepovers and stuff to see her shsssddsfs
Tumblr media
hopelessly devoted | mike schmidt x fem!reader
a/n: this is SOO cute, thank you so much for sending in the request anon! <3
cw: guardian anxiety? mike being anxious, as always. some cute sibling / friend interactions. pining towards the end! not proof read bc my eyes hurt lmao.
Tumblr media
after the events at freddy’s, abby was slowly coming out of her shell and making new friends — which made mike so incredibly proud, considering it was radio silence from her for so long.
he loved seeing her immediately run off to her small group of friends and acquaintances whenever he dropped her off for the day at school, seeing how happy she became.
when he went to pick her up one evening, abby had asked if one of her friends could stay over later in the week— begging mike to let her have a sleepover.
he was hesitant at first, still not quite over what happened at the pizzeria which made his paranoia spike, so he only agreed if he could meet her friend’s parents or guardian first.
which, led mike to abby’s friend — angelica’s older sister.
to you.
it was at a small school event. abby’s grade was putting together a small fair for the upcoming fall holiday, so a little harvest was in place. there were scarecrows, face paintings, quick crafts for the kids to enjoy, and overall just enough activities to keep both the parents and children happy.
abby pleaded with mike to go, asking him over and over for a week straight until he gave in and took a day off of work.
although he was happy that abby was having the time of her life — a smile stretched around a beautifully drawn butterfly across her lips and nose, mike couldn’t help but feel like he didn’t belong there.
he was her older brother, not abby’s parent. guardian, yes, but this wasn’t meant for siblings. it was meant as a bonding pair between parents and their child, and as the night progressed, mike was slowly beginning to feel worse.
of course, he was happy for his little sister. happy that she was getting out of her shell and running around everywhere with a giggle, but here he was — following behind with glares directed towards him, most likely from the incident back at the mall.
he hated the lingering eyes. the hushed whispers. it only caused his skin to trickle with anxiety and his tongue to bloat. he wanted out.
“mike!” abby shouted with a giggle, skipping over towards her big brother with her hand clasped in another. angelica came in tow next to her, her face decked out in some batman face paint.
“what’s up, kiddo?” mike questioned — looking down at the pair with a quirked brow.
the two girls before him shared another laugh before abby had turned around, pointing towards another figure standing alone by a small field of fake corn and hay.
“that’s angelica’s sister! you said if you meet her then we can have a sleepover!” mike’s younger sister beamed.
mike’s brows furrowed the more he looked at the absent stranger, his eyes focusing on the way her mouth seemed to contort into a frown, and that she kept glancing over towards angelica. from what he gathered, just to make sure she’s okay.
“…where are your parents, angelica?” mike had asked cautiously, looking down at the replicate-batman standing before him, who was plucking a piece of cotton-candy into her mouth.
angelica’s features softened as a shrug appeared across her shoulders. “i dunno. y/n takes care of me when they’re not home.”
abby budged in, little hands grabbing at his wrist to catch mike’s attention. “pleassseeee mike! you would be the best big brother ever!”
okay, now he can’t turn that down.
a sigh escaped his lips as he accepted defeat, smiling down at the two girls quickly before raising a hand to ruffle up abby’s curls. “okay, fine. i’ll go talk to her. but don’t go too far, okay?”
“okay!” abby and angelica shouted, immediately making a beeline towards a table that had supplies set up to make turkey-hand pictures.
as he watched the two girls run off, mike bit at the inside of his cheek, a hand moving through his hair. before he knew it, he was beginning to walk towards angelica’s older sister.
as he came within ear shot, he awkwardly cleared his throat — already hating the fact that he felt swarmed in social anxiety.
your eyes drifted over from where angelica hovered at the table, to now mike standing before you, a little surprise to your features. before you could speak, he was already taking the initiative.
“hey… you’re angelica’s older sister, right?” he asked tentatively, a little hesitation in his voice.
then you laughed, softly.
“yeah, yeah. i’m y/n, you must be mike?” you responded with a subtle smile, the exchange catching mike off guard.
“how do you..—“
“angelica loves to tell stories.” you grinned, looking down at your feet for a second, your eyes meeting together once more when you glanced back up. “and she tells me all the time about how she wants a sleepover with abby, but her big brother has to speak to me first.”
a laugh — a genuine laugh fell from mike as his shoulders shook slightly, lips contorting into a smile as he placed his hands into the pockets of his hoodie.
“yeah… sorry, it’s just a precaution.”
“don’t even worry about it. i get it.” you reassured, taking a quick look at your younger sister who was now holding up a picture of her magical turkey to show abby. you chuckled.
“uhm,” mike’s voice steered you away, pulling your attention towards him, “angelica said that you’re taking care of her right now..?”
he watched as you nodded, noticing the subtle purse of your lips as they tightened for a second, parting only shortly after.
“yeah— my parents are really busy, so i’ve been taking some time away from college to look after angelica.” you explained softly, rubbing at your arm gently.
“my dad’s a pretty hefty lawyer and my mom travels for work, so there’s no one else except for me.” you cleared your throat, putting on a small smile.
mike nodded, feeling a little guilty but at the same time, remorse and familiarity. you two weren’t in the same boat, but definitely shared some aspects.
“hey, i get it.” mike smiled, his voice soft despite the mantra of children yelling and laughing all around them. “just wanted to make sure you weren’t a serial killer or anything.”
that comment alone made a loud laugh spill from your lips, enough that you attempted to hide it with your hand — eyes glimmering towards him.
“absolutely not.”
since then, mike approved sleepovers — but only if they were at his place, still feeling a little iffy having abby at another persons house, but that paranoia slowly begin to die away the further mike was able to spend time with you.
you would drop angelica off on friday night, talking with mike at the door while angelica immediately threw her stuff down and bolted towards abby’s room.
“angie, you can’t just leave your stuff like—“ you tried to lecture gently, letting out a sigh when it became apparent that it was a lost cause.
mike looked down from where he held the door open, laughing at the small pile of clothes and toys now by his feet.
“i’m sorry—“
“don’t sweat it. they’re kids.” mike reassured with a chuckle.
when he looked back up to you, there was a pull he felt. like an inkling, almost.
“do.. you wanna come inside real quick? the weather is kinda nasty,” he asked, glancing behind you to see the cruddy rainstorm beginning to peak.
hesitation lingered on your features before a shrug danced off your shoulders. “sure, i don’t have anything else to do tonight.”
you weren’t expecting to stay longer than thirty minutes, so when you glanced down at your watch to see that you had stayed for almost three hours came as a surprise.
of course, abby and angelica blindsided you both and immediately wanted to play all these different games at once. dress up, cops vs. robbers, hide and seek. you were slumped after racing around the house for the umpteenth time, exhausted after finding angelica hiding in a freaking kitchen cabinet whilst playing hide and seek.
you fell back onto the worn couch in the living room with a sigh, wiping some sweat that gathered on the crown of your hairline. in your peripheral, you saw mike coming in from the kitchen with a water bottle, and you sighed happily when he handed it to you.
“thanks.” you beamed, grinning softly as you took a few swigs. “jesus christ, i forgot how energetic kids were.”
mike boasted a laugh, sitting down beside you with a grunt. “tell me about it. i didn’t think hide and seek could be that exhausting.”
“right?!” you laughed loudly, eyes widening as you looked over at him. “i remember hiding behind curtains and inside closets, not in the freaking kitchen cabinet?”
“abby somehow hid behind her desk. i don’t even want to know how that was possible.”
conversation felt easy between the two of you. even back at the harvest festival, where mike was afraid he was going to make a fool out of himself somehow, you were able to strip away that anxiety.
“hey… uhm, thanks for letting abby and angelica do this.” mike suddenly spoke, pulling you away from your thoughts. you glanced over to see him looking down at his hands that rested in his lap.
“abby’s had a hard time making friends until she met angelica, and i’m just— really happy she’s getting out, being a kid, you know?”
your heart clenched at his words, brows contorting into a sympathetic look as you smiled over at him softly.
“angelica doesn’t really understand why our parents are gone so often. every time she comes home, she gets all excited to see them and the disappointment on her face when she realizes that they’re not home is…” you trailed off, smiling sadly.
“i’m really glad angelica has abby. i don’t see the disappointment on her face anymore when she comes home. now, all she has are a bunch of stories of what the two of them did during school.”
the smile that graced mike’s lips caused your heart to thump — a sudden skip that surprised you. it caused his eyes to crinkle slightly, the smallest bit of a laugh falling through that made your heart race even further.
“i think,” you spoke out, not realizing that the words were spilling from your lips until you could hear yourself speaking, “that we should let them have a sleepover every friday.”
maybe it was because you wanted to make a tradition with abby and angelica.
or maybe it was because you wanted to see mike more.
your gazes met, and mike grinned, nodding his head.
“sounds like a plan to me.”

Prompt: Letters & Lingerie
Tom lay in his bunk with a cocky smile on his lips. He cast his eyes around the rest of the room, finding only one or two other sailors, both asleep and far enough away that they wouldn’t be able to hear him.
This ritual was well worth skipping his mid-day meal.
He weighed the envelopes in his hands for a moment. It felt heavier than it usually did – that boded well for him. After taking a moment to inhale the perfume you had lovingly sprayed on the envelope, Tom dug into your letter.
Tom, my strapping husband,
You said in your last letter that your life in His Majesty’s Nave was ‘fucking boring.’ Shall I tell you how exciting my life back home is?
My uncle has changed the studio’s opening to eleven in the morning so he can get some sleep after staying up all night as an air raid warden. Which means I must find a way to fill that time, assuming I am not also sleeping as I often do after spending a night crammed into a shelter with every screaming and crying child in the whole goddamn neighborhood.
But when I am not sleeping, I often find myself doing the chores that Mum no longer has the energy to do. I swear, if I didn’t do the shopping and cooking, we’d all be eating nothing but bread. Since dad left, she just hasn’t been the same. I think him leaving again reminds her of the last war. He went missing for seven months, seven! I can’t imagine how awful it must have been for her.
Don’t you ever put me through that, Tom Bennett. Not even for a week. I swear I’d come to France myself to drag you back here by your ear.
Now that’s out of the way, I do have something somewhat exciting to tell you. My uncle’s been letting me use the camera a lot more than before he signed up to be a warden. I even got to do a family’s christening portrait all on my own! He wants me to be able to handle the studio on my own, should he ever get called up (not that we’re even slightly concerned about that, considering his age). Or – oh no. That’s not really why he’s doing it, is it? He wants me to be able to run it in case one day he doesn’t come back after the sirens go off, doesn’t he? I’m going to try not to think about that.
I brought it up because he’s allowed me to start using the portable camera rather than the big one in the studio. This way, I won’t always have to be nervous that he will walk in on me when I take pictures for you.
Speaking of, I think you’ll like what I enclosed today. I borrowed Mum’s, just as you asked.
Your adoring wife,
Tom stared at those two wonderful words. Husband. Wife.
He wished he’d been able to give you the ceremony you deserved. Not simply standing in the register office with all your parents looking on with half-hearted smiles before being rushed out almost immediately so the next couple could come in. You deserved so much more than that, roses and a band and a grand hall and all that shit. Once he was home, for good, he’d give it to you. All of it. Most of all, a big honeymoon. Not the one night in a shabby local hotel your parents, your uncle, and even his sister Lois had helped pitch in to get you. Only for him to have to leave again the next day.
The fact that he was leaving you as his wife instead of just as his best girl made it somehow so much harder.
But this helped.
He started by writing his reply to the actual content of your letter. If he started with the pictures, he knew he wouldn’t give a shit about whatever you’d written by the end.
My sweet darling wife,
I am so very sorry that you have things to do all day. Whenever I feel bad about sitting at the prow and staring at the endless ocean, I will remind myself that you are enduring such tortures as shopping and taking undoubtedly lovely family portraits. It will remind me that I should be eternally grateful that the king himself has sent me on the world’s most boring cruise.
Joking aside, I am very sorry you’re stressed. Give your mum my love and tell your uncle that I’m counting on him to look after you while I’m gone, and thank him for his good work (with the warden thing, not the photography). Please take care of yourself. I know you’re willing to stretch yourself thin for the people you love, but I love you too, and I’ll be pissed if I come home to a wife too exhausted to even fuck me.
I actually might not be bored for a few days. They’re sending us to do a job, even if I will be stuck in a rowboat for a day, maybe more. Ah well, at least I won’t be the one rowing, at least.
I’m very happy about you getting more responsibility at the studio. Of course, most of that is for selfish reasons, but I’m still proud of you, love. Can’t wait to see what you’ve enclosed. Oh and before I forget, I’d like to request something… red in your next letter.
Your proud husband,
Tom Bennett
He never wrote as much as you did, but he knew you didn’t mind. You didn’t want any details about the horrible, upsetting things he’d seen, it would only worry you too much. Besides, you knew what he really loved about your letters.
After taking another deep breath, Tom set the paper aside and finally allowed himself to look at your pictures.
“Oh, you gorgeous, gorgeous girl…”
The pearl necklace you wore was a little off-center, but Tom hardly noticed it. He was solely focused on what you were wearing—a full corset, in some kind of shiny, light-colored fabric. The top of it only held half of your perfect tits inside, allowing him to admire their smooth curves. What he wouldn’t give to hold them in his hands. Once he got home, he’d do just that for an hour at least.
Over your delightfully cinched waist, you’d worn a sheer petticoat with ruffles at the bottom – exactly like one you might have worn under your wedding dress, if you’d been able to wear one. He’d get you that, too. Even if only to go to your uncle’s studio to take pictures. Tom wouldn’t need to rent a morning coat, as he’d just wear his uniform, so he could spend extra getting you the perfect dress.
Maybe you could even redo the wedding night.
Tom surveyed the room again before lying back and sliding his hand below his waistband. He’d done this so many times that now, he got hard the instant he picked up the envelope, so he was still relatively proud of his restraint, and was sure you would be, too.
He started slowly, imagining slipping the petticoat off you. Imagine how you’d shiver as his finger ever so slightly brushed your skin. The sounds you’d make – sighs and little whimpers. He loved those little whimpers so much.
He let out his own soft sigh as he began to move his hand faster. Once the petticoat was down, he’d kneel in front of you and make quick work of your shoes, then take his sweet time unbuckling and lowering your stocking.
God, how he missed those legs, shapely and soft. He loved touching them, kissing them, laying between them. His hips kicked up as he imagined himself kissing his way up them when he got home, all the way up to that delightful place where your knickers dug into the little dip between your leg and your hips.
It was hard to hold back his moan at the thought.
He’d lower your knickers first, he decided. So he could bury himself in you until he was satisfied. Yours was a taste he craved as badly as he did for decent cigarettes. He sometimes woke from dreams of devouring you, thinking he could still taste you on his tongue.
Only when your legs were shaking would he stand, prowling behind you with his hands on your waist. He’d kiss your neck as he untied your corset. Or unhooked? He didn’t know, but he hoped it was untie – it was sexier.
The pearls would stay on the whole time as he kissed you, touched you, fucked you. He’d put them between your teeth to help you soften your cries and moans, then watch them fall back on your chest when you came. You always came with your mouth wide open as you screamed his name.
That memory of your voice and the way your nails would dig into his skin is what drove him over the edge, spilling himself into his hand.
Tom lay there, reliving his imaginings, until a bell rang, signaling it was time to get in the rowboats. He made sure to wipe his hand on the mattress of one of the rich cunts who mocked him and the other working-class boys before leaving, his own letter in hand.
He stopped by the room where they kept their post on his way to the rowboats, quickly folding his paper to stuff it into an envelope. A smile crept over his features as he addressed it to ‘Mrs. Tom Bennett,’ before filling out the rest. He was glad that you were living in your parent’s house, but he couldn’t wait until he could get a place just for the two of you.
Lastly, he wrote the date in the corner of the envelope, as you always liked to know when he received yours, so you could be sure to include all the relevant gossip he’d missed.

Vodika, my beloved, I'm so sorry I didn't drop this in when you first opened your event, but yesterday was probably the craziest day I have had at work in a long time, then I had obligations in the evening, and I didn't get home until 11pm which was already way past my bedtime 😂
I digress... I am here now to congratulate you on your 400 followers!!! They're all so well-deserved. I get a little teary-eyed just thinking about when you first started out 🥹 Then you wrote that Alpha-17 fic request, and you sky-rocketed into the atmosphere! I'm so proud of you, darling 💚💚💚
Without further ado, my request goes a little something like this... For my bouquet, may I have Purple Lilacs and Calla Lillies wrapped in a beautiful pink ribbon? And for my pairing, perhaps a Five x Fem!Reader where Fives has fallen head over heels for the reader and wants to impress her?
I'm thinking sweet, soft, and romantic vibes, with just a hint of nerves, a dash of overthinking, and a pinch of embarrassment.
I'm so excited and can't wait to see what you come up with!!! I know it will be wonderful and amazing, just like you 😘
Please and thank you, with love,
@the-bad-batch-baroness

Tumblr media
Nervously you card your fingers through your hair as you watch yourself in the mirror. You twist this way and that, looking for any flaws and imperfections with your outfit, before you exhale and smooth your skirt.
You have a date.
No. To be more specific. You have a date with the most attractive man you’ve ever met in your life, and you’re incredibly anxious about it.
Fives is handsome and confident, with a natural charisma that is insanely attractive, and you still can’t really believe that he asked you, of all people, out.
What if you say the wrong thing? What if Fives doesn’t like your outfit? What if your reservation is canceled? What if he’s not that interested-?
No. No, you’re borrowing trouble.
If he wasn’t interested, he wouldn’t have asked you out.
You’re just overthinking everything.
You take a deep steadying breath, and look over your outfit one more time. A white sundress with a pink sash, and a matching pink ribbon braided through your hair and matching pink sandals.
It’s a cute ensemble, casual enough that you’re comfortable in it, but class enough that you can get away with wearing it at all but the most high end restaurants.
You glance at your chrono, and your stomach flips with anxious excitement.
Fives should be here shortly.
You slip out of your bedroom, and head to the front door to slide your sandals on, just as the doorbell rings.
You take a moment, just a moment, to take a deep breath to settle your nerves, and then you hit the button next to the door. And then you favor the man on the other side of the door with a bright smile, “Fives! You’re early.”
He is, by about fifteen minutes. But you don’t mind, the more time you spend with him the happier you’ll be, after all.
He laughs, and rubs the back of his neck, “Yeah, sorry. I’ve actually been waiting outside for about thirty minutes.” Fives admits. “I’m a little…eager.”
You move to the side and silently invite him in, “You didn’t have to wait outside, Fives. I would have been more than happy to let you wait inside.” You say warmly, “But it is nice to know that I’m not the only one eager.”
He flashes a grin at you, and you feel your heart skip a beat. It really isn’t fair how handsome he is.
“You look beautiful, Mesh’la.” Fives says then, lifting his hand to lightly brush his fingers against the pale pink ribbon in your hair, “I feel underdressed now.”
Your face heats at his compliment, “Thank you. I bought the whole outfit specifically for this date. Is it too much, do you think?”
“No. No, it’s perfect.” He says immediately, and then a sly grin crosses his face, “You bought a whole outfit, just to show off for me?”
“When you say it like that it sounds weird,” You say sheepishly.
“I’m flattered. You didn’t have to. You would have been just as stunning in jeans and a tee shirt…or a burlap sack.” Fives says cheerfully, “I would have looked underdressed either way.”
“I think you look very nice,” You say with a shake of your head. And he does. Somehow he managed to get his hands on a set of civilian clothes, and is wearing a nice dark blue button down shirt, and black slacks. He looks amazing, actually.
“Thanks. They were a gift. From Senator Amidala and General Skywalker.”
You shoot him an odd look, “I wasn’t aware you were so close to Senator Amidala.” You finish sliding your sandals on, and then smile up at him.
“Yeah, I didn’t either. But apparently my brothers have loud mouths, and she found out about this date from General Skywalker.” He pushes his fingers through his curls, “Imagine my surprise when I got woken up this morning because Senator Amidala and her Handmaidens were giving me a makeover.”
You giggle, “Well, you look amazing.”
“I now have more clothes than I know what to do with.” Fives says with a sigh, though there’s an amused glimmer in his eyes, “At least I’ll be able to stand next to you without embarrassing you.”
“I would never,” You reply, “You’re…” You falter as you try to think of the right word, “Magnificent.”
A startled laugh falls from his lips, “Is that right?”
Your face heats again, “That’s a weird compliment, isn’t it?”
He grins at you and offers you his hand, “No, beautiful. A little surprising, maybe, but I’m glad you think so highly of me.”
You take his hand and Fives grins at you as he gently twirls you, “Beautiful.”
“Me or the dress?”
“You, of course. The dress only enhances what’s already there.” Fives spins you again, “You know, we still have a bit of time before our reservation-”
“I know, I tried to get an earlier one-”
He shushes you with a press of his finger against your lips, “I’m not complaining, beautiful.” Fives reassures you with a gentle smile, “I’m wondering if you might be interested in dancing with me?”
You stare at him, startled, and then you duck your head, “I’d really like that.” You whisper shyly, before you glance up at his face.
Fives’ smile is soft, and he’s looking at you like he’s never seen anyone quite like you before. Slowly you reach up and slide your fingers against his cheek and his eyes slide shut.
“Fives?” You whisper.
“Hm?”
“Can I kiss you?” You ask, your voice barely a whisper in your quiet apartment.
“I’d like that a lot,” He replies, his voice just as soft.
You push up to stand on your toes, and he ducks his head just a little bit, and your lips ghost against his.
It’s a soft kiss. Shy and gentle, almost.
It ends as quickly as it begins, but Fives keeps his lips hovering just over yours. “You know,” He murmurs, “I could love you, if you let me.”
You smile at him, soft and loving, “Funny,” You whisper, “I was thinking the same exact thing.”
And then his lips are against yours again as he walks you deeper into your apartment.

-NOAH-
After much-needed water bottles, I’m finally starting to feel somewhat normal again. Folio’s asleep in bed next to me while I lay on a laughably thin blanket on the floor. My eyes fully adjusted to the darkness and all I’m focused on is the popcorn ceiling and counting each plaster peak.
The party rages on the other side of the room and I wonder if anyone out there is sober enough to take me home. It’s almost 1 am and the party hasn’t slowed down. I sigh roughly and roll over to wrap the thin pillow around my head to cover both ears. Even through the cotton I can still vaguely hear the music and a song starts that Nicholas and I were obsessed with a couple months ago.
I chuckle quietly at the lyrics,
“That’s my best friend, she a real bad bitch…”
Such a silly song, even though it’s nothing like what we play or what we regularly listen to – we somehow always get the same pop-y songs stuck in our heads at the same time, then end up loving them unironically.
I shake my head with a stupid grin, thinking about the time we were in the kitchen doing a proper, ridiculous performance while we blasted it through a Google speaker. It started with that song but then snowballed into an entire concert at 2 am – all while his little sister just made fun of us, until she eventually caved in and joined our set.
We were all mic-ed up: me a dustpan, Nicholas a broom, and Stella a spatula.
I dig my front teeth into my bottom lip to stifle a laugh that would definitely wake up Folio.
The memory makes the ground below me that much more rigid.
I’ve already tried sleeping every which way on this god-forsaken carpet, but I can’t seem to get comfy.
The hard floor must be the reason I can’t fall asleep.
I flip back to lay flat.
I don’t really understand why Nick got so upset, but it’s been a long night, so I guess I get it. I’m sure he wasn’t thrilled about getting in the lake. Fucking Folio.
And I know he doesn’t like parties.
I don’t really like them either. I think? Maybe I do now? I don’t know.
But I didn’t want to do this without him.
And I just let him leave like that…
God why did I let him leave.
I want to go home.
I need to go home.
There’s a sharp twist in my stomach when I unlock my dying phone and find no texts from him.
I open my bank app to check my balance. $33.87.
I exit and click on the Uber app, put in our address to see the price. $27.59.
I hit request.
Tumblr media
I get home after an Uber ride from a questionable middle-aged man with ridiculous combover.
I fumble with my keys at the front door only to find that it’s not locked. I press my weight against the creaky wooden door to push it open. The house is quiet, if Nick’s car wasn’t in the driveway, I’d think the house was completely empty.
I quietly set my keys down on the wooden dining table across from the kitchen. The bedroom door in the hallway is closed, which I expected. I cross the linoleum and very gently twist the doorknob to peer inside. The small room is illuminated solely by moonlight beaming in through the large window by the bed. I step into the room and click the door closed behind me. When I walk over to the bed, the shimmering white light acts like a spotlight on his face and what I notice churns something deep in my chest. Dried streaks coat his face and look almost like rivers from puffy red eyes.
Surely, he didn’t come home that upset because of the argument we had, right?
I tug at my lip and very gently slip into bed beside him beneath the puffy duvet. The movement causes Nicholas to stir and turn away from me. I stay completely still, not even moving a muscle until he’s completely settled then turn in the same direction as him, just inches away from his back.
If he’s that upset with me, would he even want me here?
Am I intruding?
Is it really intruding if I live here too?
Maybe I should’ve stayed on Folio’s floor.
It’s only then that it really sets in that I really moved out, well more like kicked out, and I live here now. Mostly anyway.
But just because you live somewhere doesn’t mean it’s your home. While I love living with my best friend, and I love his family, and they feel like family – they’re not. As much as they try to not make me feel like one, I am an outsider here.
Even Folio in his frat house, sure he just got hazed and whatever, but he belongs there.
I don’t belong anywhere.
The closest thing I’ve gotten to what I imagine belonging feels like, is with Nicholas. But again, he has no tie to me. We’re friends of course, but if I pissed him off and he wanted me gone… well I’d have nothing. I’d have nowhere to go.
I hate this feeling, this feeling of relying on people.
It’s weird taking up space somewhere you have to walk on eggshells because it’s not yours. Because you don’t belong.
It’s not like I felt like I belonged at home either, not after Mom passed.
So here is better than there at least.
At least there’s no yelling or slamming doors here.
My eyes drift through the moonlit darkness to the small pile of my belongings in the corner of the room. The sight sends a chill up my spine and my heart rate noticeably rises. I’m reminded that there are still some things waiting for me at my stepdad’s.
I want the ability to truly get on my own, if I don’t want to rely on people, I need to get my stuff so that I can actually make something of myself.
I need to at least try.
And to do that, I need my guitar and my keyboard. I’m nothing without them – and I won’t be able to be anything without them.
Tumblr media
-NICHOLAS-
My eyes shoot open when shrill screams fill my eardrums. I nearly jump out of my skin at the noise, especially since I had gone to bed alone.
I don’t have the luxury of trying to figure out how Noah got home, just that he is and he’s having another night terror.
“Fuck.” I mutter.
Because I did such a great fucking job dealing with this last time.
I tug at his freezing cold arm and shake him vigorously but of course, it didn’t do much the first time, why would it have a different result now.
I replicate what I did the last time and straddle his lap, grabbing his wrists and pinning them at his sides to restrain his jerky movements.
“NOAH!” I repeat his name with increasing volume.
He wakes up slowly after a couple times of calling his name.
“Nicholas?” He asks groggily, with furrowed brows and squinted eyes.
I sigh, “Night terror.” I state curtly and pull off him, landing beside him with my back towards him.
“Oh.” He says softly and his eyes falter. “Sorry.”
There’s a twist of guilt in my gut because I should be softer with him after his terror, but I just don’t have it in me tonight. The teary soreness in my eyes reminds me just how much I don’t have it in me. I tug the sheets closer to my body.
He rustles around a bit trying to get comfortable, but I fall back asleep quickly. For a bit.
It’s not long after, maybe an hour or two, that I’m awoken once again but this time to a bunch of noise and the overhead light on at full brightness.
“What the fuck.” I mumble, sitting up and rubbing one eye while keeping the other mostly shut.
I turn to find Noah sitting on folded knees, manically rummaging through the couple bags he moved in with. He’s ripping through each one, tossing pieces of clothing out left and right, shaking out the empty bags as if they have hidden compartments.
“What the fuck are you doing Noah.” I ask, my tone soaked in annoyance, exhaustion, and anger.
“I can’t find some of my shirts. I need to get the rest of my shit out. Today.” He replies, his words rushed.
My brows knit together at his sudden – and poorly timed – bout of bravery and motivation. He’d been putting this off and avoiding it for weeks. And now he’s tearing apart his stuff, throwing shit all over our room at 4:30 in the morning… after a night of drinking?
I yawn and shake my head in confusion, “Wait, wait, wait, how did you even get home?”
“Uber.” He replies simply, his gaze still focused on his third bag not even looking up at me.
“You took an Uber home?” I ask somewhat skeptically, “Why didn’t you just call me?”
His rummaging movements pause with a bundle of shirts in hand, “Didn’t wanna bother you.” Then continues digging through the bag.
Normally I would go on a tangent about how I’d rather call me to pick him up instead of doing something stupid like possibly be driven home by someone inebriated – but I’m much too depleted, both physically and emotionally to do so.
“Well, you should’ve called me.” I tug the cotton sheets closer to my body and bunch the material to my chest. “What is this really about? You’re acting so strange.”
I reach over to the light switch and turn the knob to dim the white-yellow hue of the light above us.
“I just need to get my shit, Nicholas.” He huffs, seeming aggravated by my questions.
“Well, you’re gonna go alone if you keep snapping at me like that.” I retort, even though I’d never let him go alone.
He exhales and deflates with a balled-up band tee in his hands. “I just need to do it today. If I don’t do it today, I might not ever be able to.”
Honestly, this is the last thing I fucking needed after earlier tonight. I just wanted to fucking sleep. And not be around Noah.
Yet here I am, awake, around too much Noah.
“Fine.” I sigh. “Fine, we can go today – but only if you fucking wrap up whatever the fuck you’re doing and come to bed. If we’re really doing this today, you don’t need to be sleep-deprived for it.”
“Fine.” He agrees reluctantly and begins gathering the clothes to shove back into the bags. “But I probably won’t be able to sleep.”
“Well, you should at least try.” I scoot back into my left side to make room for him.
The box spring squeaks under the weight of him when slides in and immediately turns away from me. Normally I would be a tad offended, but tonight, I’m grateful.
Surprisingly, small snoozy noises escape him not long after his head hit the pillow. I lay facing him, watching the rise and fall of his ribcage like a metronome.
Concern and fear suddenly flood my bloodstream like a bad drug. Getting most of his stuff out the first time was no picnic and I just know this last time is going to be even worse. Frankly, I’m a tad worried about the things he’d left behind, I wouldn’t put it past his stepdad to throw them out.
I shake my head and try to focus on my breathing to calm me down. When that doesn’t work, I try counting.
I drift off to sleep before 30.
Tumblr media
My faux-leather steering wheel cover cracks under my fidgeting fingers. Noah can’t seem to sit still, running his hands up and down his thighs probably to self soothe. The anxiety is thick and tangible in the car. He would never admit it to me, but I know he’s scared shitless about going back home. Noah always tried to hide it from me, but I’m not stupid. It doesn’t matter how “anemic” or thin you are, you don’t amass that many bruises that frequently. I always wondered if that’s why he started wanting so many tattoos so suddenly. Maybe, on some level, that’s what made me want to start tattooing in the first place.
The normally 20-minute-long car ride felt like three hours, but when we arrived, I could’ve sworn it had only been 3 minutes.
I park on the curb at the end of the driveway and shut off the car. Just being on the tiny patch of lawn has my heart thumping through my chest and it’s not even my battle.
But I guess if I’m here with him,
If it’s his, it’s mine too.
As much as he wasn’t prepared to do this, neither was I. My gaze lands on the rectangular windows of the small yellow house. From the outside, it looks so normal, so happy even. It’s almost eerie how far from the truth that is.
I look over at him, just now realizing he hadn’t said a word the whole ride. He’s slumped in the passenger seat, one lanky arm wrapped around his own waist and the other stationed at his mouth. His eyes glued to the house behind me as he chews on his thumbnail.
“We can still go back home, Noah. We don’t have to do this today if you’re not ready.” I offer gently, mostly because I don’t think either of us are fully equipped to do this.
“No. I have to do this.” His eyes finally falter away from the house and land on me.
“Okay. You sure you’re ready?” I ask quietly.
His teeth dig into his bottom lip. “No. But I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.”
“I’m gonna be with you the whole time, okay?” I hold out my pinky. “Always, remember?”
He nods and hooks onto my pinky. “Always.”
Tumblr media
As expected, I’ve landed myself in the middle of a brawl between Noah and his stepdad. I feel guilty and useless standing there as a bystander not interfering, but my feet can’t seem to move and my vocal cords have ceased to function.
Noah started off strong, full of adrenaline and blind bravery, but it didn’t take long for George to wear him down.
My heart beats loud in my ears and I can’t hear a word they’re saying. All I see is him waving around Noah’s guitar like it’s a toy, using it as an extension of his exaggerated furious expressions. Noah’s tall, but George is much taller and stronger than him, so Noah just looks like a mouse running around an elephant, scrambling trying to snatch the instrument back.
I’m not sure what they’re even screaming about but the argument escalates further than I ever expected it to. My eyes round as I witness each of George’s hands slide to either end of the guitar’s neck.
No
He wouldn’t
As if in slow motion, I watch the light pale from Noah’s face. His eyes wide and teary, and his brows curled up. I can see the heartbreak in his dark brown eyes in real time as he watches his stepdad easily snap the neck of his beloved guitar.
The break is quick and sharp and fills the room with the sound of cords plucking and wood splintering. The noise after is even louder though, just jarring silence.
Until George opens his mouth again. “Get your sad, pathetic little toys and your little boyfriend out of my goddamn house.” Rasps his deep Western accent.
He forcefully tosses the broken instrument at Noah, hitting him so hard it knocks him backwards. The livid man storms across the house and slams the master bedroom door behind him.
Noah’s knees buckle and land harshly on the carpeted floor, holding the guitar in his arms as if it’s a wounded soldier in battle. His face scrunches up around his eyes and tears just begin pouring from him. His chest hiccups with each sob that escapes. He curls the wooden pieces in his arms into his chest and rests his forehead against the curve of the guitar. His cries heave his entire body.
I’m frozen where I stand. What I just witnessed might as well have been a murder. I’ve seen Noah cry, of course, but this is something I’ve only ever seen once before. Besides that one time, I’ve never seen him this bad. At least, he’s never letme see him this bad.
I gently meet him on the floor. For some reason, I feel hesitant to touch him, but I can’t just sit here and do nothing.
I don’t dare even touch the arms that are gripped onto his guitar so, I rest my hand on his shoulder. He doesn’t even react to my touch at all, as if he can’t even feel it.
“Noah…” I say cautiously. “Let’s just get you out of here, okay? We just need to grab your stuff and get out. We can figure this out later… later when we’re not here.”
He doesn’t respond and when I try to nudge him even a little bit, he’s solid like concrete where he’s kneeled.
“C’mon Noah we gotta go.” I stretch up to double-check that the bedroom door is still closed. “I’ll get the rest of your stuff. We just need to get you out of here.” I urge and squeeze his shoulder a bit.
His fingers dig into the instrument as he takes a deep sniffle and screws his eyes shut tight, shoving the salty tears out. He just gives me a little nod against the guitar, letting me know that he understands but doesn’t move.
“Please, Noah.” I beg and try pulling at his arm again. “Please get up. I need you to get up for me.”
He gives a little of his arm to me and not much more. But I take what I can get and use both of my arms to weakly lift him up from the floor by his underarms. I basically carry him out of the house, his body limp as I drag him backwards across the overgrown lawn. Shards of dying grass cling to our clothes and dust kicks up all over the back of his jeans.
I feebly open my back door and let him crawl into the backseat with the guitar tight in his grip. He immediately lays with it across the cushions and some boxes.
Luckily, we had gotten most of his belongings already so there was just the final sweep left to do.
Thankfully, George is still holed up in his room, though that doesn’t ease my panicked heart-pounding in my ears. Noah’s room is completely bare except for a half-filled trash bag of miscellaneous belongings. I drag the heavy bag across the stained beige carpet, but I stop at something that catches my eye.
In one cubicle of many that make up a huge bookshelf are a couple of photo albums in chronological order spanning over a few years. From the peek-through covers I can tell that they’re filled with pictures of his parents, or maybe at least his mom.
My head snaps at a stir that comes from behind the bedroom door and in a split-second decision, I scoop all the photo albums and throw them into the black trash bag. I use all my strength to heave the now extra bulky bag across the yard as I run towards the car.
I toss the bag into the trunk and slam the door before rounding the car, throwing myself so hard into the driver’s seat that I nearly tip the car over. I take a glance in my rear-view to check on Noah and find his body tightly curled around the instrument sobbing even worse than how I left him. Seeing him like this… gives me an ache in my chest that I didn’t even know could hurt so much. It’s so excruciating that I could almost vomit from it.
I quickly shift the car into drive and speed off so fast that my wheels squeal.
I’m unsure what to do or what to say. It feels like saying anything would only make things worse at risk of saying something wrong. I always feel guilty when situations like this happen with his family because I can’t imagine what he feels. I don’t know what I’d do without my family, and I can’t even fathom someone treating their child like that, especially him. Noah is the last person on earth that deserves that.
Tumblr media
I bite my nail as I walk back and forth in the living room lost in my thoughts.
“Honey, why don’t you come sit down?” My mom suggests patting the couch cushion next to her. “Pacing around the living room isn’t going to help anything.”
I sigh and meet her on the couch, “You should’ve seen him, Mamá.” I run my fingers through my sweat-coated roots. “Oh my god, it was horrible.”
She begins rubbing small circles into my back, “I know Gatito.” She tries to soothe, using her Spanish nickname for me – she always told me I resembled a small cat. “But we know what his family is like, I’m surprised something like this hadn’t happened sooner.”
“Yeah…” I trail off, biting down hard on my thumbnail thinking of all the things we never told her his stepdad had done. If she knew the things he’d done to him – especially in front of me – who knows what she’d do. She’s a Hispanic single mother, nothing would be able to stop her – and a George vs. Mom battle royal is the last thing we need.
“I’ve just never seen anyone that… defeated before. That guitar was everything to him.” I hang my head and use both hands to cover my face.
“Well, you know, maybe we could pull together some extra money by Christmas?” She offers. “I could pick up some extra shifts at the hospital.”
“No, no, Mom, you don’t understand.” I sigh and turn my head to her against my propped palm. “His mom gave him that guitar.”
“Oh.” She replies solemnly in understanding.
“There’s a music store in town where I get my vinyls, they do repairs there.” My sister speaks up from across the room, resting on the column that separates the living room from the kitchen. “Maybe you could see if they could fix it?”
I blink blankly as I process her words and it’s like a lightbulb illuminates above my head. “You actually might have a good idea for once Stell.”
She rolls her eyes, “I’m trying to be helpful, you don’t have to be rude.”
“I’m your brother, it’s kind of my job to be rude.”
“Whatever.” She takes a sip from her obnoxiously sized water bottle. “There’s a really cute guy that works there, I think he does most of the repairs. His name is Jolly, tell him Stella sent you.” She winks.
“Augh.” I groan in disgust and wave her boy craze away. “I’ll be sure to do that.” I add sarcastically.
A serious stillness falls over the room like everyone is equally unsure of how to proceed.
“What are you gonna do about Noah?” Stella asks softly, her voice laced with concern.
My leg bounces in anxious uncertainty as my eyes drift over to my closed bedroom door.
“I don’t know.”
Tumblr media
I gently knock on my door and slowly creek it open. The room is pitch black with just Noah on the bed curled up around his guitar, his shoulder length hair splayed across the pillows, and the duvet wrapped around him like a cocoon. He’d been hidden away in my room like this since we got home.
“You awake?” I question timidly, readjusting the tray in my hands.
It takes a moment, but he replies with a tiny, short groan.
“I brought you soup. You know, the chicken noodle my mom makes that you like so much?”
Another brief pause followed by a slightly more intrigued grumble.
I take it as permission to enter and precariously make my way over to him. There’s a sliver of mattress left behind him, and I fit half my ass on it.
I allow him the space to be quiet with me for a bit.
“How are you doing?” I ask, even though it’s an asinine question.
He just sniffles.
“I know, I’m sorry.” I sigh quietly. “Is there anything I can do?”
He sniffles again and scooches further into the bed, onto my side.
I silently tap my index finger on the plastic tray, pondering what that could mean before I speak. “You want me to lay with you?”
He gives a small ‘mhm’ groan.
“Okay, I can do that. But can you eat for me?”
He replies with a ‘nuh-uh’ whine.
I exhale knowing this was going to be an uphill battle. “Noah, you’ve gotta eat.”
He shakes his head in resistance again.
“C’mon, just a couple bites…for me?”
A pause before he lets out a defiant but agreeing sigh.
“You’re not gonna move, are you?”
He shakes his head.
I breathe out trying not to sound annoyed because I should be grateful that he even cooperated this much.
Maneuvering around him from behind, I hold the bowl in one hand and the spoon in the other. Thankfully, the soup had cooled down to just a bit warmer than room temperature. I scoop a spoonful of it, making sure to get a little bit of everything: noodle, chicken, and carrot – if he’s only going to take a couple bites, I have to make sure they count.  I carefully bring the spoon over to his lips, he lifts his head just a bit and takes the spoonful into his mouth. He let me give him 4 or 5 bites, which was more than I expected, before rejecting the rest.
I set the bowl on the nightstand, lift the sheets, and nestle into the space he made for me.
“Thanks for eating.” I say quietly. “I know you didn’t want to.”
He nods mutely.
I press my lips together. “I’m sorry about what happened today.”
He’s silent. Slowly but surely sniffles and sobs begin to pour from him again. I immediately feel the twist of guilt in my stomach for being the one to trigger his tears again.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I-I can leave if you want some priv–“
His hand reaches behind him and firmly captures my wrist.
“Stay.” He begs in a coarse whisper, the first thing he’s said since we came home. “Please?”
His voice is so cracked and hoarse, if I didn’t know any better, I’d swear he was sick.
I falter a second to respond but he must’ve felt the hesitation.
“It helps.” He croaks. “Remember?”
The churn in my chest returns and there’s an ache in my heart that accompanies it. If I could somehow magically take all of this away, I would, even if it meant trading places with him. Even if it meant I’d be the one hurting instead.
I feel so fucking useless, not being able to do much for him.
But at least I can do this.
“Okay.” I respond cautiously and settle further into the bed, now essentially spooned around his body.
His grip on my wrist never left so I let our joined arms rest on his hip. I can’t seem to gather with the right words to say to him, I mean what can you really say after something like that?
So, I offer him the only words that feel suitable.
“I’m not going anywhere, Noah. You know that right?”
There’s a long quiet, so long that I think he may have fallen asleep.
But then he squeezes my wrist.
“Thank you.”
I sense the urge to do something, but I’m not sure how he’ll react. I don’t know, maybe it would help?
I tug at where his hand meets mine and he gives me an upset grumble, like he doesn’t want me to leave.
“I just… is it okay if - can I try something?” I ask shyly, suddenly very nervous, nervous enough to have my heart racing.
Out of the corner of my eye, I catch his brows furrowing. I can tell he wants to be stubborn and keep me latched there, but curiosity always gets the best of him. He slowly loosens his grip on my wrist.
I didn’t notice that my palms were sweating until I’ve retrieved my hand. I press my lips flat and feel like my ribcage could burst open at any minute from how hard my heart beats against it.
My body is screaming at me to do it and as much as I want to fight it, I can’t.
Maybe it would help
I let my arm go where it wants to go. It slithers beneath the covers and through the space between Noah’s arm and his side. I wrap my arm around his waist and pull flush against him.
We both freeze. My ears grow warm as the hour-long seconds pass.
Maybe he’s uncomfortable
Maybe he thinks this is weird
Maybe it is weird?
Is this weird?
Maybe he doesn’t like it
Maybe I’m making it worse
Maybe–
Unexpectedly, he just melts into me. His body molds into my arms like they were made just for him.
He finds my arm and brings it to his face, pressing his damp, swollen eyes against it. Small sobs fall into my arm and his grip on me is so tight I could turn blue.
Maybe he feels safe, and maybe he just needed to feel safe to let the rest out.
My own eyes well up at the sound of him, at the feeling of his body heaving in my arms. I press my forehead against his shoulder.
“I’m here, okay? I’m not going anywhere. I’m always gonna be here.” I reassure him again through my own held-back tears.
He wipes his tears off with the collar of his shirt before pulling my arm back around his chest. He nuzzles into me, and I feel my heart swell so big it fills my entire chest.
I think I already know the answer, but I wanna hear it anyway.
“Does this help?”
He lets out a sleepy sigh as he nestles his back into my chest.
“You always help, Nicholas.”

Event | 7th Anniversary: All Actors Aboard! | Chapter 2: VELUDO STATION MEMORY ✕ Yuki Rurikawa
Tumblr media
*Door slides open*
Muku: Ah, Yuki-kun. Good work.
Yuki: Good work. Did your homeroom get done early today?
Muku: They didn’t really have much to say, so it was over quickly. Seems like homeroom for your class was a little longer, Yuki-kun.
Tumblr media
Yuki: Yeah… pretty sure some of those guys have been skipping out on cleaning time recently.
Yuki: Whatever, let’s not talk here and just go home now.
Muku: Ah, yeah. Let’s go.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Kazunari: Ah! Yukki and Mukkun! Good worksies~♪
Yuki: Good work.
Muku: What a coincidence. Are you headed home now, Kazu-kun?
Kazunari: Yep! Guessing you two are headed there too? Let’s head back together!
Yuki: Well, not like it really matters considering we’re all going back to the same place.
Kazunari: …Hehe, whenever I see the two of you going home together like this, it always reminds me of something.
Tumblr media
Yuki: What does it remind you of?
Kazunari: When you first joined the troupe, you guys always walked home separately as camouflage, right?
Muku: Ah, now that you mention it.
Yuki: That was because we didn’t want the guys at school to know we were doing theater back then.
Kazunari: Guess it couldn’t really be helped back then~. Anyway, you both went to and from school separately for a while then, right?
Kazunari: Actually, I was a little worried about you guys… I was always wondering about that.
Kazunari: That’s why now it makes me supes happy to see you two going to and from school together like this.
Muku: I never knew you felt like that, Kazu-kun.
Yuki: Same here. Never thought that us going to and from school would make you so happy.
Kazunari: Well, that’s ‘cause I’ve never told anyone that before~. But y’know, there’s still something that I’ve been wondering about…
Yuki: What?
Kazunari: How’d you two even start going to and from school together in the first place?
Muku: Huh, what did start it?
Yuki: That’d probably be…
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
*Flashback*
Yuki: (...Gross. It’s kind of crowded here. Why even are there so many people here anyway…?)
Muku: …Huh, Yuki-kun?
Yuki: Oh, Muku? You got here before I did.
Tumblr media
Yuki: What’s this about? Why are there so many people here?
Muku: One of the trains on the other line stopped, so there’s lots of people stuck on the platform.
Muku: And that’s making it hard to get through the ticket gate… What should we do, Yuki-kun…
Yuki: Well, we can’t be late for school, so we’ll just have to force our way through…
Muku: R-Right. Alright, let’s do our best to get onto the platform!
Muku: Ah, it’s probably best we don’t get separated, so you should grab onto my clothes or bag, Yuki-kun.
Yuki: What?
Yuki: (Hold onto him…? That said, I don’t know if I’d be able to get through this crowd of adults all by myself…)
Yuki: …Fine. I’ll hold on to you.
Muku: Yeah! Make sure to hold on tight!
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Yuki: …
Yuki: (We managed to get on the train, but… there’s still a lot of people in the train car, and I’m stuck surrounded by a bunch of huge adults, of all people.)
Yuki: (If I’m not careful, I’ll stumble or lose my footing.)
Yuki: …Gh.
Yuki: (This might be bad…)
Muku: Here, Yuki-kun. Switch places with me. …There, here you go.
Yuki: (Phew… I feel way better now that I’ve moved to a different spot.)
Yuki: Thanks…
Tumblr media
Muku: No problem!
Yuki: (...Since we switched places, now it’s probably hard for Muku to be standing there.)
Yuki: (And yet he’s standing there so naturally and doesn’t look uncomfortable at all… Is that the influence of shoujo manga…?)
Yuki: (Even if it is, that’s still his true self. It sure is something that I probably wouldn’t be able to do.)
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Yuki: …
Muku: Ah, Yuki-kun!
Yuki: Muku? I thought you left the dorms first… what are you doing here? …Don’t tell me, has the train we take stopped again?
Muku: No, the train’s working just fine.
Yuki: Then why…
Muku: I thought that maybe you’d come if I waited a bit… I was waiting to head to school with you like we did yesterday.
Tumblr media
Muku: But… sorry, that might be a little annoying of me, huh? I don’t know why you’d want to go to school with me…
Yuki: …I don’t mind heading to school with you.
Muku: Huh?
Yuki: Our names are already on the company’s website, and we hand out flyers together, don’t we?
Yuki: …That’s why, starting tomorrow, don’t wait for me here at the station, just tell me when you’re ready to leave at the dorms.
*Flashback end*
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Muku: And that’s how we ended up going to school together.
Kazunari: That’s a supes sweet memory! If something like that happened to me at the station, I’d def remember it every time I got to Veludo Station!
Yuki: (That’s true… it is a Veludo Station memory.)
Yuki: (Writing about it for the web edition of “VELUDO” probably wouldn’t be too bad of an idea.)
*Tires screech*
Yuki: That car…
*Car door opens*
Tenma: You guys heading home?
Muku: Tenma-kun!
Yuki: Of course it’s you.
Kazunari: Totes getting some major déjà vu right now! We’ve seen this one before!
Tenma: Huh? I mean, I guess so.
Tumblr media
Igawa: Tenma-kun, would you like me to drive everyone back home with you?
Tenma: Nah, I’m going to walk with these guys.
Igawa: Understood. Well then, I’ll pick you up from the dorms tomorrow. Good work today.
Tenma: Yeah, same to you.
*Car drives off*
Yuki: Why didn’t you just have him drive us home?
Tenma: That doesn’t matter. I just felt like walking home today.
Kazunari: Well then, let’s all get along and head home!
Muku: Yeah, we’re glad Tenma-kun is coming home with us! Right, Yuki-kun?
Yuki: …Well, I mean, it’s not like it’s a bad thing.

Call It (Cisco Ramon x Allen! Reader)
Summary; After Barry speeds to the future to see his sister getting killed by Savitar, team flash has to find a way to prevent this from happening. Cisco grows protective over the reader, deciding to call it quits when enemies come and go too quick for him to count.
Warnings; Yelling, cursing, stabbing, coma, crying, one year time skip, mentions of hate for body image. Reader and Cisco leave the team. Starts with Savitar then cicada comes in. I’m stating for the sake of the story that the years are not right, just an estimate!
Taglist; @livingwrite-andrepeat
A/N; Here it is!! This is a long one (like, 7k worth), and I honestly really posted it for myself since Cisco isn’t super popular anymore, but I’m proud of it. Alternate ending to “You Know I Love You, Right?”
(D/N) means daughters name.
Small timeline change- Caitlin is in this as Caitlin, she is not killer frost.

July, 2017, four months until destruction.
“Hey,”
A hand rests on your bare shoulder. You turn, smiling warmly at Barry Allen’s taller figure, “You look great,”
“Thanks,” Your breath is light, hands running down the front of your sweater-like dress, “Iris helped pick it out,”
Barry then glances over to said woman and the rest of the group, who, too, were dressed up from the event of HR attempting to reopen STAR Labs, “Hey,” He repeats, nodding his head over his shoulder, “I need to show you something,”
“Okay,” You nod back, glancing at your friends grouped together before following your friend at a slow pace, “What is it?”
Barry leads you into a hidden room. A room you recognize that used to be Eobard Thawnes, which worries you as to why he has brought you into the room of your old enemy.
With a click to the button on the single stand, Barry steps back to allow a projector to arise, showing both you and him an article, “Look at this,”
“The Flash vanishes after Crisis,” Your brows pinch as you glance to him, “I don’t understand. What am I looking at?”
“An article. From the future,” Barry starts, eyes flicking back up to the projector, “Look who wrote it,”
Your eyes move to follow his gaze, “Written by Iris West-Allen,” You lift your shoulders, “Okay? You and Iris get married. That’s wonderful, Bar,”
“No,” Barry shakes his head, “You originally wrote this article. Somethings changed,”
“Maybe I quit,” You sigh, reaching up to curl a strand of hair behind your ear, “I’ve been talking to Cait and Cisco about staying home with (Your/Daughter/Name), it’d make sense,”
“That’s not why it changed to Iris,” Barry can see your irritation as he leads on, your figure turning to face him as if urging him to hurry to his conclusion, “When I threw the Philosophers Stone into the Speed Force, I ran to the future,” He pauses to clench his jaw, “You die, Y/N. I-I saw it,”
“Die?” Your breath comes short, in disbelief as you look back to the article, “From what?”
“Savitar. He was holding you and he stabbed you. Right in front of the whole team,” Barry’s hand raises to his hair, tugging at the locks,
“How long?” Your eyes stare at the floor, hearing Barry’s hum of confusion before lifting your eyes to him, “How long until I die?”
“I won’t let that happen,” Barry steps up, hand at your arm as you clench your jaw, “I won’t. I swear on our parents lives, I will protect you,”
Your hands wipe at your eyes, hard, heaving a deep sigh, “We have to tell the others. I can’t stand to be one of the only ones that knows when we can try to stop it but- what if we don’t?”
“We will,” Barry breathes, “I promise, Y/N. I- we will do whatever it takes,”
“I hope you’re right,” You step back, out the hidden door and to the Cortex and to where Cisco instantly questioned your reddened face.
. . .
“So… all this happened while you were in the Speed Force?” Caitlins questions breaks the silence of the cortex. You can see the gears turning in everyone’s heads. Processing it.
You still haven’t.
“When I threw the Stone in, I went four months into the future. That gives us four months to figure out what needs to be changed and how we can stop him,” Barry exhales, looking to you where you leaned against the Control Panel in silence,
“Y/N?” Cisco speaks up, so you raise your eyes to him across the Cortex. “What’s going through your head?”
You lift a hand, waving it in front of your face with a pinch of your brows, “I’m fine. I think,” You bare down on your teeth at a lump that forms in your throat, “I need a second,”
The team watches as you depart from the Cortex in quick steps. Cisco worriedly follows after you while Barry rubs a hand down his face,
“Hey,” Cisco’s hand catches your wrist, twirling you to face him at the same time you cough out a weak breath, “Hey. Look at me,”
Your eyes look up at him on demand. Blurred with tears, you attempt to clear your vision as his hands raise to your face, wiping the tears from your skin, “You’re allowed to be scared. It’s okay,”
“I’m sorry,” Your whisper is harsh, “I don’t want this to happen. I can’t leave her,”
“We’re gonna figure this out,” He reassures, eyes on yours as his thumbs wiped below your eyes, “I promise,”
You nod, eyes shut when he rests his forehead against yours. His hand raises to the back of your head, hearing his best friend call behind him so you pulled away and wiped your face,
“HR thinks if we go back to the place I saw it,” Barry starts, watching you flinch at the mention, “We can find details that may help us change the future,”
“And how’re we supposed to do that?” Cisco asks, tiredly, “Go back into the speed force?”
Barry’s nod is slow, “You might be able to help,”
“I’m gonna go home,” You sigh, raising your hand to your forehead as Cisco turns back to you, “It’s late. It’s a lot, I think I just need sleep, and I need to see (D/N),”
“I’ll let you know what we find,” Cisco murmurs, pecking your lips before staring at you for a mere second, “I love you,”
“I love you too,” Your smile is weak before you teleport from their vision, Cisco exhaling a deep breath before turning to face his brother in law, “Let’s do this.”
September, 2017, two months until destruction.
Cisco steps into a silent apartment. He drops his keys on the counter with a tired sigh, turning to face the inside of his home.
Silent until he hears a loud giggle, one that brings a smile to Ciscos face despite how exhausted he is. He steps towards the hall of his apartment, where the bathroom door was open, light shining out into said hallway.
He leans against the doorway as his eyes settle on you, sitting on your knees beside the tub after having pulled (D/N) from the water, your child wrapped in a towel and leant against you.
“I love you, you know?” Cisco hears you murmur, and Cisco watches his daughter nod against your neck, your lips on her wet hair. She leans back to pat at your face, eyes spotting her father over your shoulder,
“Daddy!”
You glance over your shoulder at her shout, looking up at Cisco as he steps into the bathroom, kneeling down behind you to tickle (D/N)s neck, before leaning over to peck your cheek, softly,
“Anything?” Your eyes meet his, his head shake light as you frown, allowing Cisco to stand and pull (D/N) from your arms, taking your towel wrapped child into her bedroom,
“What pajamas are we thinking tonight, huh?” Your mind drifts as you listen to your husband, reaching over to drain the tub water and push to your feet, silently picking up her dirty clothes to toss in the hamper, “Spider man? I think you should wear the flash. Huh? Like uncle Barry? No?”
Your lips pull at this, moving towards the bedroom opposite of yours as Cisco pulls a Spider-Man shirt over (D/N)s head, then ruffling out her curls on her head,
“Bedtime, mi amor,” Cisco states, pulling the blanket out so (D/N) pouted but dropped onto the bed, “How does pancakes sound in the morning? Hm?”
“You always burn the pancakes, daddy,” (D/N) giggles, eyes looking at you when you sit on the edge of the bed, “Mama can make them!”
“I’ll make them, sure,” You smile, tucking the blanket beneath her chin, “Sleep good, baby. Maybe after breakfast we’ll go visit Papa Joe, hm?”
“Papa Joe!” (D/N) sticks her arms up, before shimmying under the blanket, allowing you to kiss her cheek as Cisco kisses her forehead.
You softly close the door to her bedroom, breath trembling as you exhale, hands at your face.
“Hey, hey,” Ciscos arms wrap around your shoulders, pulling you against him, “I know,”
Your sniffle is weak as you press yourself to his chest, lifting your head to look at him so his hands slid to your face, thumbs wiping beneath your eyes,
“I love you, baby,” Cisco whispers, your nod weak as his nose brushes yours, “It’s gonna be okay,”
October, 2017, one month until destruction.
“Okay, what if-,” Cisco paces in front of the control panel, Caitlin seated beside you while Barry stood to the side, “What if Y/N teleports at the second just before she’s stabbed?”
“We’ve already looked into that, Cisco,” Barry states, “The timing would have to be just right. One second too early, and Savitar is chasing her down. One second too late…”
“Well does anybody have any other ideas?” Cisco blurts, “Huh?! We’re running out of time!”
“Cisco-,” “What if it was Iris? Huh?” Cisco cuts, your eyes fluttering shut, “What if you had a daughter who doesn’t know what the hells going on, who doesn’t know that she could potentially lose her mother in less than two months?!”
“Cisco,” You raise to your feet, Cisco shaking his head with a deep sigh, hands in his hair as you step up to him, grasping his wrists, “Baby, look at me,”
Ciscos pinched eyes open to stare at you, a tear slipping down his cheek, “We have to think of something. We have to,”
“And we’re going to,” You whisper, hands now at his face to wipe under his eyes, “I’m going to be okay. We’re going to figure this out, and we’ll both be there to watch our baby grow up,”
Cisco sniffles, roughly, eyes shutting again so your arms wrap around his shoulders, pulling him forward so his own arms loop at your back, holding you firm against his chest. His nose ducks into your shoulder, hiccuping against the fabric of your sweater.
“I love you,” He whispers, Caitlin’s lips pressing together tearfully at the interaction, “I can’t lose you,”
“We’re gonna figure it out,” You lean back, Ciscos hands sliding to hold your waist as his eyes flicker across your face, “Let’s go get some water, come back, and restart. Okay?”
November 2017, the day before destruction.
Your hands tremble. Sitting at the control panel, your eyes stare at the blank screen. It’s only twenty four hours away. No plan has come up.
Your exhale is sharp, hands raising to your face to notice your fingers are ice cold, frozen with terror. “Hey,” Caitlin’s hand at your shoulder startles you so hard your body jerks, head turning to look up at your best friend in fear.
Her brows pinch, worriedly, kneeling down by your chair as your hiccup comes choked, head shaking as you raise your hands back to your face, “Hey. Y/N, breathe, honey,”
“I-I can’t,” Your exhale releases a sob, the tears hot on your cheeks as you gasp, “I’m so scared. I don’t want to leave her. I don’t want to leave them,”
“We’re going to figure it out,”
“When?!” You don’t mean to shout, guilt on your face as you glare down at where she knelt, “It’s going to happen in twenty four hours, Caitlin! I should be home with my daughter right now, but instead I’m freaking out because I’m going to die- and we can’t stop it,”
“Breathe,” Caitlin soothes, your back leaning into your chair as you tilt your head back, coughing up a sob that hurts your chest.
“I’m so scared, Cait,” You whisper, your best friend shifting to sit in the chair beside you, “She’s not even two yet. I won’t get to watch her go to kindergarten. I won’t get to watch her graduate,”
You sigh against your hands, sniffing, “And Cisco…I can’t leave him to raise her alone,”
“I want to promise that we’ll figure something out,” Caitlin starts, “But we both know that a promise like this is something we can’t keep,”
“I know,” You murmur, rubbing your temple. “I don’t know what to do,”
“Ciscos worried about you, honey,” Caitlin speaks, reaching to squeeze your hand, “And he’s scared, too,”
You nod, allowing another tear to slide down your jaw. You shift to stand, wiping your hand under your eye, “I’m gonna go try to find him,”
Ciscos easy to find- cooped up in his lab when not in the Cortex. The smile you give him is weak, the redness in your eyes evident when he turns to you,
“You busy?” You murmur, him shaking his head as he sets down the tool in his hand, arm already reaching around your shoulders,
“Never too busy for you,” He allows you to press yourself against him, head tucking under his chin as he exhales slowly, “You okay?”
“As okay as I can be,” You sigh, eyes falling shut as you let the man just embrace you. God knows its possibly one of the last times, “Just tired. Thinking too much,”
Cisco hums, lips pressing to your hair, “Yeah,” He sighs, cheek turning to rest on your head, “Me too,”
You inhale, lifting your head to flicker your eyes across his face, “Are we gonna be okay?”
Ciscos hands slide to cup your face, nose brushing yours. “We’re gonna be okay,” He nods, eyes glossy. He nods, lips pressing between your brows with a deep sigh, “We’re okay,”
Late November, 2017, the day of destruction.
Time falls still. Team Flash all stand frozen in terror. It happened. It really happened.
Savitar won. All those months trying to change the future was a fail. He knew it.
Cisco’s shout is what drags Barry to speed up and catch your near falling figure. Blood already stained your jacket, body limp against his suited form as he panicked for his best friend.
His sister.
“Y/N!” Cisco’s terrified cry gets closer as his footsteps skid, dropping down at your other side to pull you from Barry’s grasp, “Hey! Hey, baby!”
Tearing his goggles from his face, Cisco’s eyes brim red as his gloved hand held your face to look up at him, your own eyes hazy from exhaustion, but wide in terror.
“It’s okay, it’s okay,” Cisco’s thumb brushes over the skin, eyes flicking back and forth across your face, “Stay awake for me, okay? Can you- can you stay awake?”
“Cisco-?” Your lips part in a wheezed breath, lifting your head in an attempt to look at the damage, but Ciscos hand tightens at your jaw, shaking his head as he sniffles.
“No, no. Look at me. Look at me,” His pleas are weak, free hand pressed to the wound so you hiss, “You’re okay, baby. You’re gonna be okay,”
Your head shakes, barely, blinking away the black spots but only causing more. “It hurts,” Your eyes flick to Barry, eyes then pinching shut in pain.
“Get her to the lab,” Caitlin’s sudden figure behind Barry is rushed, and Barry barely processes her demand, “Now, Barry!”
. . .
An hour later, the team of five all stand throughout the Cortex. While Iris watched Barry pace, HR stood close to Caitlin’s lab door, all while Cisco sat in his desk chair, Joe beside him.
Ciscos eyes stare at the blood on his hands. Yours. With a trembling breath, Cisco finally looks up upon hearing Caitlin’s footsteps, as does the rest of the team to see the relief on her face.
“She’s going to make it,”
Ciscos exhale is sharp, head falling forward in his hands as Joe grasped his shoulder, Ciscos fingers clutching at his hair. He stands up, Caitlin nodding her head to lead him into the lab, where they find you, out and still covered in blood.
“We’re going to have to keep an eye on her for the next couple of days,” Caitlin’s hushed voice speaks, Cisco sinking down in the chair by the bed to grasp your hand, “Her heart rate seems stable, the blade went through both her back and her chest…”
Cisco nods, swallowing thickly as he rests his forehead to your hand, eyes shutting, tiredly.
“Do you want me to go get her some new clothes?” Barry speaks this time, voice hoarse, “And sheets?”
Cisco opens his eyes to see the white sheets of the bed have been stained red. Along with her clothes, and almost every inch of her skin.
“No, I can go,” He musters, sitting up, “Felicitys at the apartment with (D/N), I think I’m gonna bring her here and we’ll stay for a night or two,”
“Okay,” Iris breathes, nodding, “But let one of us drive you, please,”
. . .
At the apartment, Felicity instantly stands upon the arrival of both Cisco and Barry. “Please tell me she’s okay,” Felicity begs, Cisco silently walking by her to enter your daughters room. Felicity looks at Barry, eyes wide, “Is she okay?”
“She’s alive,” Barry nods, Felicity immediately exhaling, “We’re gonna have to keep an eye on her for a while. But she’s alive,”
“Oh, thank goodness,” Felicity nods, shortly, turning when Cisco shushes (D/N) softly, him now holding the whining child who curled back into him and almost instantly fell back asleep,
“Can you grab Y/N some clothes?” Cisco asks, exhaustedly, “Third drawer and left side of the closet. I’m gonna pack (D/N) a bag,”
“Are you sure?” Felicity asks, “I can stay here with her while you’re at the labs,”
“I want us all together, thanks,” Cisco smiles, weakly, “I need to be with her. Felicity-,”
“You don’t have to explain,” Felicity nods, a third time, “I understand. Let me take her and you pack her a bag, okay?”
December 1st, 2017. The day after destruction.
Cisco finally finds himself dozing off.
Seated next to your bed, his arm rests at the edge, the resting down while his gaze kept towards the corner of the lab, where your daughters playpen sat, allowing her to comfortably sleep.
But he feels a pull. He thinks it’s his own hand muscle spasm, but when his fingers are tugged at a second time, his head shoots up so fast he feels dizzy, eyes instantly looking up to your face.
Your brows pinch, before your eyes flutter, lips parting to inhale. “Hey,” Cisco sits up, fingers tightening on your hand as his free reaches up, curling hair out of your face. “Hey, baby,”
“What happened?” Voice hoarse, you tilt your head down to look at the patch at your chest and shoulder, wincing at the pain your movement caused.
“Savitar,” Cisco murmurs, eyes flicking to his phone momentarily to send Caitlin a quick “she’s up!” “But you’re okay. We did it,”
“(D/N)?” Your head tilts in the opposite direction of your husband, Ciscos eyes following yours towards the resting toddler.
“She’s okay. We’re all okay,”
“Everything hurts,” You whimper, free hand rubbing at the patch, My back. My chest. It hurts to breathe,”
“I know. I know,” Cisco stands up, reaching for the pain killers Caitlin ordered him to give you when you’ve awaken. He sinks down to sit at your legs, hand at your thigh as you take the cup of water he hands you to down the medicine. “Caits on her way to check your vitals to make sure everything’s stable. She’s taking good care of you,”
You nod, slightly, looking over when your daughter shifts in her playpen, whining as she sat up and spotted you, instantly standing to grasp the edge of the pen and reach up with a hand.
“Morning, sleeping beauty,” Cisco lightly jokes, leaving your side to move up to the playpen, lifting up the two year old before he moves back to you, setting down the toddler so she crawled up to you, giggling as you pull her into your lap,
“Easy, bug,” Cisco warns, glancing over just as Caitlin, along with Barry, Joe, and Iris entered the lab, all faces relieved to see you up.
“How long have you been up?” Caitlin asks, moving to the monitor beside you before checking your blood pressure, all while smiling at (D/N) leaning against your chest.
“Not even ten minutes,” You murmur, rubbing (D/N)s back, “How am I alive? All the outcomes from Savitar I died,”
“You had the best doctor in Central City taking care of you,” Joe smiles to Caitlin, who nods in thanks, your own eyes flicking to her with a smile.
“Thank you, Cait,” Your smile instantly vanishes with a loud hiss when (D/N) accidentally nudges your patched wound, Cisco immediately pulling (D/N) up by her underarms to pick her up,
“Okay, we gotta be easy with mama, babes,” Cisco reminds, shifting the now whining child to hold her better.
“I’ll be okay,” You press a hand to Ciscos torso, curling your fingers into his shirt, letting his eyes flick to your face.
Cisco nods, glancing down when (D/N) drops her head onto his shoulder. “I can take her,” Barry speaks, hands extended so (D/N) sat up and leaned towards her uncle, Cisco muttering his thanks as he moves back next to you.
“I’ll say you need to stay on bed rest for maybe about four more days before you can get up and move around,” Caitlin scans her monitor, then smiles, “Healing completely will take about four to six months, though. But you’ll be good as new,”
“Thanks, Caitlin,” You repeat, “Do I have to stay here or will I be able to go home?”
“I want to keep you here for a day or two to monitor your wound in case it opens again. But after that you’ll be free,” Caitlin jokes, your laugh heaved so you wince.
“This will most likely make you drowsy again,” Caitlin informs, as she sticks a needle in your arm, “But rest is what you need,”
“Barry and I can take (D/N) for tonight,” Iris speaks, Cisco glancing back at her, “You two need some peace and quiet while Y/N heals. Don’t worry,”
“Thanks, Iris,” You smile, the team slowly bidding their goodbyes as Cisco stands up to stretch, your eyes watching as your husband looked over the monitor himself, bottom lip between his teeth.
“Hey,” You reach out to take his hand closest to you, letting him turn his wrist to grasp your fingers as he glances at you, “Have you slept?”
“No, uh,” Cisco sighs, forcing himself away from the monitor to face you, completely, “I couldn’t bring myself to,”
You give his hand a small tug, Cisco forcing himself to sit at the empty space beside you, hand now at your thigh as he sighs.
“I want to call it,”
His eyes look up at you. Your brows are pinched, sitting up further so he could feel your breath and vice versa, “Wait, what?”
“I…” Cisco shakes his head, glancing to the side with a thick swallow, “I want to call it. I- we almost lost you tonight, Y/N,”
“But that doesn’t mean we should make an immediate decision to leave the team,”
“We made a deal when we got married- when we found out you were pregnant, that if something major happened that put either of our lives or our daughters, in danger,” Cisco pauses to intake a breath, “That we’d both agree to drop the superhero life and step back,”
“You love being on this team, Cisco,” You take his hand at your thigh, staring at him, worriedly, “I love being on this team. Shouldn’t we think about this after I’ve finished recovering?”
“Your safety is more important,” Cisco heaves, hands releasing yours to cup your face, “I’m not going to stay here if that just chances that (D/N) could loose her mom again,”
Your eyes find themselves flicking wildly between his, hands at his wrists, “You haven’t slept,” You murmur, “You’re scared after what happened. Just… please try to sleep and we can talk about this more later,”
Ciscos eyes drop shut. With a short exhale, he nods, pulling you forward so your lips press against his, searching for comfort he knows you both need. “Okay. Scoot over,”
March, 2019. Two years after destruction.
“Don’t you hate it?”
Cisco hums, peering sideways from the bathroom door to where you stood at the mirror in your bedroom, shorts and lace bra the only thing covering your figure,
Your eyes are casted downwards, hand hovering over the large scar that dragged from the top of your right shoulder, to the middle of your right breast. “The scar,” You murmur, fingers finally brushing the raised skin with a sigh. “Don’t you hate how it looks?”
“I hate how you got it,” Cisco states, now behind you where he ignores the matching scar on your back, hands at your waist with a light squeeze, “But you look beautiful as always, with or without it,”
Your eyes roll, back leaning against his chest so his arms fully wrap at your front, chin on your shoulder, “You’re only saying that because I’m your wife,”
“I’m saying that because I love you,” Cisco turns his head to press a kiss to your cheek, which you lean into, “Maybe you can get…a badass tattoo over it or something,”
You snort, raising the back of your hand to lightly smack his cheek, “In your dreams,”
May 14th, 2019. Two years after destruction.
“He took Cisco,”
“What do you mean he took him?” Your figure leans against the Cortex desk. Fingers grasping the countertop, you ignore the white numbness of your knuckles as your eyes flicked between screens,
“I don’t know, they went through a breach when I got here,”
“Cisco?” You call out, nearly holding your breath as you listened for your husbands response, “Baby, can you hear me?”
“I hear you!” Ciscos call back is muffled. “My breach frizzed out and threw us in a forest somewhere,”
“What kind of trees are there?” Sherloque asks, stepping next to you as you pinch your brows to him, “Ask him,”
“What?” You flick your eyes to the screen, eyes steady on Ciscos heart rate, “Cisco, what kind of trees are around you?”
“I don’t know!” You hear Cisco grunt, dodging most likely, “Pine trees? Some of them have pointy leaves,”
“Ash trees,” Sherloque hums, leaning forward, “Now, Fransico, I need you to hold your breath, let me listen,”
A pause. Crickets sound, Sherloque clicking his tongue, “Kolin Woods,”
“Are you sure?” Barry asks through, Sherloque humming, “I’m on my way,”
On time, Cisco yells out in pain through his mic that makes you sit down in the seat behind you, “Baby, you’ve got to run,”
“I can’t,” Cisco heaves, your hand over your jaw as your knee bounced, “He got me in the back of the shoulder-,”
Silence. Your watering eyes stare at the still monitor of his heart beat, sitting up so quick your mind spins, “Cisco?”
Nothing. “Cisco,” You demand, attempting to turn the volume of his ear piece up, “Baby, please. Barry what’s going on?!”
“He’s gone,”
Iris can see you nearly fall out of your chair. Her hand reaches to grasp your arm, sliding in her chair closer beside you. “He’s not here, he-,”
The silence they keep giving you feels deadly. A heavy sigh of relief, “He’s alive,”
Your chest caves as your hands cover your face, body slouching beside Iris as she exhales, relieved. “Both of you come back. Now,”
You don’t move from your chair until you hear their footsteps behind you. Barry held Ciscos arm around his shoulders, while Ciscos free hand pressed to his injury, face scrunched.
“Oh, my god,” You push from your chair, Barry releasing Cisco quick enough to let Cisco throw his free arm around your shoulders, lips to your hair as you pressed yourself against him.
Your hands reach up to his face, sniffling as he whispered reassuringly to you. “I’m okay,” His thumb brushes a free fallen tear from your jaw. “I’m okay,”
You nod, taking his arm to lead him into Caitlin’s lab, sitting beside him as Caitlin got to work.
. . .
“Hey,” Your eyes raise to your husband. Your vision is blurry- exhausted- as you stared at his arm in the sling, Caitlin’s order until his shoulder healed. “What’re you thinking about?”
You lift your head, nose stuffy as you inhale, “I think you were right,” You murmur, Ciscos brows pinching, “About calling it,”
His brows relax at this. He knew the minute something happened to him, you’d instantly change your mind.
“Hey,” Cisco repeats, extending his free hand- bandaged from Cicada first attack- waiting for you to rise from the chair and take it before gently tugging you to stand in front of him, “Is this what you really want?”
“I don’t know,” You exhale, lifting your chin to stare at the ceiling, “Maybe it’s the adrenaline of the fact that I thought you were dead-,”
“But I’m not,” Cisco soothes, “This is just Savitar all over again, I’m okay-,”
“We had a warning for mine, Cisco!” You hiccup, glancing over when realizing your voice had grown in volume. Looking back at him, Ciscos eyes flick between yours, worriedly, “We had a warning for me, not for you. I saw your heart beat stop on the monitor and I thought you died,”
“But I didn’t,” Ciscos hand slides to your jaw, “I’m here, and I’m breathing. We both are, baby,”
“I know,” You copy his action, swallowing, “I just don’t want this to be a scare again, it’s not healthy for a baby the team doesn’t know about,”
Ciscos eyes soften, tugging on your wrist with a soft c’mere before he lets you sit next to him, his free arm sliding to your shoulders to pull you against his side. “Do you really want this?”
“You’re the one who wanted it first,” You remind, hearing him exhale through his nose.
“I want this,” He murmurs, thumb pressing to your shoulder blade comfortingly, “I want you. You, and (D/N), and the baby safe, and that can’t happen if we stay,”
You nod, tilting your head back to look up at him, “Let’s take care of Cicada, at least,” Cisco nods, lips to your forehead before moving to your own lips.
May 26th, 2019. Two years after destruction.
“We have something we want to talk to you guys about,”
The team all look up from their spots spread across the Cortex. They train their attention on the couple sitting at the desk, Cisco distractingly staring at the computer screen while you were already looking at them.
“Okay,” Iris speaks first, hesitantly, “What is it?”
“Uh, well, two things,” Your eyebrows flick when Cisco looks at you, “Good news or bad news first?”
“There’s bad news?” Sherloque huffs, “Might as well say both at once, then,”
Cisco is the one who raises his brows this time. You shrug a shoulder, Barry’s brows pinching at your silent communication,
“Okay,” You exhale, shifting in your seat, “We’re leaving Team Flash,”
“Y/Ns pregnant,”
Six pairs of eyes all blink at you. You grimace, sighing as you stand up. “Im pregnant. Which is one of the reasons why we’ve decided,” You wipe your hands nervously on your sundress, “To leave the team,”
“I don’t know whether to hug you or cry,” Caitlin moves up first, your smile light as she embraces you, Cisco moving to stand, “When?”
“We’re officially stepping back in two weeks,” Cisco states, eyes shifting to your brother who had crossed his arms, “We’re moving in three months,”
“Wha- moving?” Your brothers eyes instantly look at you, “Leaving the team I understand, but you’re moving?”
“Central City isn’t safe, Barry,” You remind, brows pinched, “We’re going to have two kids under the age of three. We won’t be part of Team Flash anymore but we’re still a risk of danger. Leaving Central City is the best decision for them,”
“We’ll-we’ll protect you,” Your brother stammers, your shoulders deflating. After your parents death, you knew he felt as if he was losing you, too, “You don’t have to leave the city altogether,”
“As much faith I have in you guys, I just don’t want to chance it,” You breathe, “We’re doing this to protect these kids. Just support us on it, Bar,”
Your brother exhales, looking towards the rest of the team, “Have you told Joe?”
“Joes the one we talked to about the decision,” Cisco speaks, as you shift in your heels before settling on sitting back down in your chair, “So he’s known, for a while,”
“And you decide to tell us two weeks in advance,” Barry nods, Iris crossing her arms as her brows pinch towards her husband, “Thanks for the short notice. Got it,”
“Barry,” Iris hisses, the man speeding off so your hair blows in your face, your eyes shutting as you tuck the strands back behind your ear, “Y/N-,”
“I know, he’s just upset,” You sigh, twisting in your chair, “I knew we should’ve told him sooner,”
Ciscos hand presses to your shoulder, rubbing the area with a frown as he looks up to his team.
July 2019, two years after destruction.
“I think that’s the last of it,” Cisco hears your heaved huff from the living room, stepping around the corner to see you taping a box shut, standing with your hands on your hips,
“Besides (D/N) going to war with herself over which toys she wants to keep,” Cisco snorts, thumb jabbing over his shoulder where you hear your daughter talking to herself, then clanking of her toys,
“I don’t see why we can’t just let her keep them all,” You shrug, Ciscos eyebrows raising as his head shakes, hands on your hips,
“I’m not letting our daughter become a hoarder,” He states, “Besides, once Dante comes, that’ll be two times the toys,”
“I’m so glad this one’s a boy,” You sigh, breathlessly, head tilting up to look at your husband, “One girl, one boy. All I wanted,”
Cisco smiles, nose brushing yours, “Thank you for letting me name him after my brother,”
“You let me choose (D/N),” You smile back, “Only fair with the next one,”
Ciscos hands press to your stomach, lips brushing yours before a loud crash comes from your daughters room, Cisco jerking back to glance over his shoulder, where (D/N) now stood at the kitchens entrance, holding her toy Harry Potter wand now snapped in two,
Your daughters pout matches her tearful eyes, Cisco copying her pout as he moves up to her, lifting her so she sniffles and holds up the broken wand, “Daddy…”
“That’s okay,” Cisco murmurs, “We’ll use our magic glue to put it back together, it’ll make sure the wand doesn’t loose its magic, hm?”
(D/N) nods, fist rubbing her eye as you smile, taking the broken pieces before digging in an open box, thankful to find the super glue pretty easy. After putting the wand together and blowing the glue dry, you hand it back, causing her to giggle and wave it around.
“Have you figured out what toys you’re keeping, amor?” Cisco brushes her hair from her face, her hesitation causing you to laugh,
“I’ll take that as an shes keeping them all,” Cisco gives you a look, but rolls his eyes and smiles.
November 2020. three years after destruction.
“Hey guys!” Cecile’s smile when she opens the door is bright, opening it wider so you could step in, her hands out in a gimmie motion for the toddler in your arms,
“Your favorite has arrived,” You smile as Barry walks up, embracing you before turning to (D/N) at your leg, hands open so she reaches up and lets him pick her up,
“I think theyre more excited to see the kids rather than us,” Cisco speaks, setting down the large bag of presents he held behind the couch, laughing when Joe shakes his head and embraces you so tight you stutter on your breath,
“I’m excited to see you,” Joe states, you peeking your head out from his arm with a muffled “I can tell”, “We’ve missed you guys,”
“I’ve missed this little guy,” Cecile kisses Dante’s cheek so the near one year old giggles, your smile light as you watch your step-mother love on her grandson, “He’s gotten so big already!”
“(D/N)s starting to look too much like Cisco,” Iris hums, twirling a curl on (D/N)s cheek as Cisco fakes offense, accepting a small glass of wine from Caitlin,
“How’s Star City?” Wally asks you, as you settle on the couch while Cecile sits in the recliner, beginning to bounce Dante on her lap,
“It’s good,” You breathe, “Cisco and I both started our jobs, Felicity is loving being the babysitter,”
“How long are you guys staying for the holidays?”
“Uh, we’re hoping for a week,” You glance at Joe, “If that’s okay with you,”
“Stay as long as you need,” Joe raises his glass, gesturing to your two children, “As long as I get to spend time with my grandkids,”
“Oh, definitely,” Cisco slides an arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his side, “I know my parents want us to visit with them but the rest of the week- they’re yours,”
Joes lips part to say something, but the door knocks, your eyes scanning the group wondering just who could be missing-
“Sorry we’re late, guys!” A male calls, you looking over your shoulder to see a tall man with glasses next to a Latina girl, both holding presents, “We have gifts!”
“Oh, Y/N, Cisco, this is Chester and Allegra,” Caitlin gestures, Allegra smiling as she rounds the couch,
“I heard a lot about you,” Allegra speaks, raising a box, “And your kids. I hope it’s okay I bought your daughter something,”
“Yeah, that’s okay,” You smile, watching her kneel in front of your daughter to hand her the box, eyes then shifting to Chester,
“Y/N Allen, right?”
“Born an Allen, yes,” You cackle, “But legally I’m a Ramon,”
“You’re the one who miraculously survived a stab to the chest. You’re awesome!”
The air falls tense, quick, Ciscos hand tightening on your shoulder as you send a weak smile, “Thanks. It wouldn’t have ended the way it did if it wasn’t thanks to Caitlin,”
“How’d you know Savitar was the one who did it? No one could see him but Barry!”
“O-kay!” Joe cuts it, noticing Ciscos irritated stare, “Let’s open gifts, hm?”
Shoving the ball of wrapping paper into a trash bag, you huff as you tie the bag shut. “I didn’t make you uncomfortable back there, did I?” You look up at Chesters entrance, smile light as you shake your head,
“No, no. It’s just, um, that whole thing was a really emotional experience,”
“How so? Besides, uh, worrying about surviving,” Chester closes his eyes, brows pinched, before reopening them,
“Uh, Barry-,” You pause, “Do you know?”
“About Barry being the Flash? Yeah!” Chester laughs, “Allegra and I, we’re part of Team Flash,”
You smile, quickly dropping it, “Barry went back in time by accident, and saw the whole thing revolving Savitar and I. Yeah we had a heads up, but originally I wasn’t supposed to make it,”
Chester frowns as you sigh. “It was six painful months of waiting. Cisco and I, we were both terrified. My daughter was only maybe two at the time, and I was so scared of leaving her,” You lift a shoulder, setting the trash bag to the side, “It was a miracle Caitlin was able to save me. Here I am three years later, with now two kids and almost completely healed,”
“I’m sorry I asked,”
“No, really, it’s okay,” You laugh, moving to walk around him, “It feels good talking about it again. It was a lot, still is, but I’m healing,”
Chester smiles, nodding, looking down at his phone which beeps, along with five other phones across the house.
“Dammit,” Barry mutters, glancing at Iris who already stands, “Meta attack downtown,”
“Aw yeah!” Chuck grins, “I’m in,”
“One holiday,” You roll your eyes, dropping back beside Cisco before picking up Jenna from her rocker, “One holiday without a meta ruining it, is all I ask,”
“You guys go ahead, we’ll stay here,” Joe insists, nodding to Cecile who had her own fun holding your son,
“We’ll be back!” Chester grins, winking, “In a Flash,”
“Don’t say that,” Barry whines, “Because every time you do, we end up being stuck out there for hours,”
“I was trying to make a joke. Take the joke!”
“In case that happens,” Allegra smiles, waving,
“Happy holidays, everyone,”

Songs of Sorrow - Ch. 8
Rancher!AU || Boothill x Fem!Reader || Slowburn, Drama
Tumblr media
Your heart stops at the sound of footsteps coming around the corner, standing over the stove like you’ve been caught in an act of criminality. You’d been here for about a week now, getting settled into Boothill’s daily schedule and became painfully aware that the two of you were the only tenants in his large home. You’d thought that his staff would live with him but it turned out they drive themselves to his land every day they worked, usually only spending the night if there was a big event that required more hours or if they drank themselves into a drunken stupor.
You’d barely manage to wake up early in general, not to mention your measly attempts at waking up before Boothill. It seemed he raced the sun every morning to see who would get up first and he always had an uncanny habit of winning.
This morning was special. You were somehow able to wake up before even he did, having crashed early the night before after cleaning his entire house top to bottom much to his dismay. You’re trying to make him what you think would be a filling breakfast for a hard day’s work, hoping that it wouldn’t be too heavy for him to have so early in the morning. The crackle of bacon on the pan must have woke him up, turning to come face to face with a Boothill that’s underdressed and still seemingly sleepy.
“Mornin’ darlin’. What’re ya doin’ up so early?” he yawns, drawl sounding even stronger.
You can barely focus on the way his morning voice sounds so low in his chest when coming face to face with said chest. You try not to gawk too openly at his chiseled body, broad shoulders bare. Your eyes flick over the silvery trail of hair on the lower part of his stomach, V line directing your eyes further along those sweatpants as you gulp, suddenly feeling parched.
After you get over your initial wave of depraved thoughts you slowly realise that he’s covered in scars. You can’t imagine he got them all from ranching, biting back the urge to ask him questions before turning back to pay attention to your cooking.
“I thought it’d be nice to make you some breakfast.”
He comes up beside you, leaning against the counter with his arms crossed. You can see out of the corner of your eye just how muscular his arms are, more of those scars criss crossing the muscle.
“That’s real sweet a’ ya but ya’know ya didn’ have to do that, didntcha?”
You get the sense that when he’s more awake he tones down his accent around you, wondering if that was something he did on purpose or just something he’s accustomed to with how rough his voice sounds. He eyes your cooking curiously, hair just barely pushed out of his face as he squints.
“I know, but I wanted to. You’re going to have to get used to it.”
He laughs, a wonderful rumbling that’s barely audible over the sound of your bacon that’s going to burn if you don’t pay attention to it.
“You’re cookin’ a lot. Worried I don’t eat enough? I’m gonna start lazin’ about if ya feed me too much,” he continues, heading over to the coffee pot to find that you’ve already started brewing a pot.
“I wasn’t sure how much you eat and I thought it’d be better to be safe than sorry. If anything you could eat the leftovers later or cram them all into a sandwich to take into the fields with you,” you suggest, plating up a dish for him as you urge him to sit down at the table.
He tiredly begins to partake in the meal, ignoring the knife you set out for him and just going in with his fork. You watch him almost astonished, seeing a side to him that you hadn’t expected.
“I never thought that you could ever be tired,” you say in an attempt to make small talk.
“Hmm? Can’t be bouncin’ off the wall all the time. I’d need to be on some serious drugs to pull that off,” he jokes, looking at you in a way that makes your heart skip a beat.
There’s something in his gaze that’s uncensored in this moment, an affection that you think you’d be blind not to notice. You’re not sure if he’s in his right mind when he’s this tired, coughing drily as you stand up from the table to get him a cup of coffee.
“Cream? Sugar?”
“None of the above sweetheart.”
You hand him the cup of black coffee and watch with wide eyes as he chugs the entire thing as though it isn’t just under the threshold of boiling hot, standing in shock as he drinks it as though it was nothing. He gets up and pours himself another cup, this time taking a sip as he sits back down to enjoy his breakfast.
“Gotta say I’m pleasantly surprised you woke up before me. Thought I was already lucky enough to see ya before lunch those few times you woke up “early”,” he teases, polishing off his plate in record time and going to wash his silverware.
“I have to admit I’m already getting tired. I’ll probably go back to bed soon.”
His eyes drift over to the window, the sky beginning to colour as the sun makes it ascent into the sky.
“Stay out with me a bit longer. Just enough to watch the sun come up.”
You bite back a yawn as you follow him onto the deck, shivering a little in the cold morning. He seems totally unaffected, the breeze simply ruffling through his hair that looks far too perfect for a man who spends all day roughhousing.
“Does the sunrise look different in space?” you ask Boothill quietly, not wanting to be too loud lest you wake up something.
“Never really had time to pay attention to it while I was workin’,” he says just as softly, peering down into his coffee mug as he swirls the dark liquid.
“Couldn’t lose focus, not even for a second.”
You want to ask him more, knowing that people talked about how he was a skilled fighter of some sort. Nobody seemed to give you a straight answer, possibilities varying from some sort of secret special ops for an intergalactic agency to a gun for hire. Standing here, looking at him so at peace you can’t imagine him doing anything else.
“I missed it though. Watchin’ the sun. The places I went well…could barely see the stars when I landed. Too much a’ that light pollution shit.”
“Is that why you came back?”
“Entirely. I missed feeling the wind in my hair, the feelin’ of dirt and grass underfoot, the warmth of the sun on my skin. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to just…savour bein’ alive, ya’know?”
You understand him wholly, nodding along with his statement. Sure you didn’t spend your time travelling through space but you had been forced to live in between for so long. You scarcely knew what it felt like to just be able to breathe freely, your day dictated by nothing more than your desire. You spent your time traversing around the desire of other, knowing full well your money depended on how desirable you seemed.
“I didn’t think I’d be able to feel at peace but then…somethin’ happened. And I’ve grown comfortable with the beatin’ of my heart again,” he says after a moment, seeming unsure himself as to what that something was.
“I see,” you say as you can’t come up with anything else to say.
His eyes are gazing out into the fields, the hiss of grass accented with the whooshing of a strong breeze sweeping through his estate. You know he’s not here right now, mind dwelling on something that you don’t think you’ll ever be able to reach. You thought a life like he led was envious, travelling as he wished and making more than enough money to live off of comfortably.
In this moment though, you wonder who the man before that was. What his smile looked like before his skin was marred, spidery lines traversing across patches of tanned skin. His hands must have been soft at some point, a small child happily bringing his find of the day to parents who were more than happy to pull him into his lap and murmur a name so sweet it barely makes it to your ears.
You wonder what it would feel like to be loved so wholly, chest aching at the thought. Without realising it your cheeks are wet with a bitter mix of anger and longing, wishing that your memories of “home” weren’t so loud. It’s overbearing, mind trying to shut off desperately as your breath comes in short gasps, suddenly feeling like the world was both far too big and small at the same time.
Your distressed breaths calm as you feel your body get pulled into the hard planes of Boothill’s chest, the first coherent thought your brain manages to make being that he’s somehow softer than you thought he would be. His arms wrap around your chest as he brings your back against him, keeping you in position to continue watching the sun crawl up the sky at a leisurely pace. Your breathing finally begins to slow in his arms, feeling his face rest against your hair as he counts out the rise and fall of your chest soothingly.
“It’s alright doll. I’m right here,” you hear him tell you, tears running down your cheeks faster.
You’re suddenly hyper aware that he’s holding you.
Holding you.
Boothill.
You pull yourself out of his grasp quickly, muttering apologies as you run up to your room to go back to sleep, not quite able to get the smell of his aftershave off of your skin.
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧───  。゚☆ *.☽ .*☆。゚ ───✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Boothill spends the rest of his morning on the deck, nursing his cup of coffee as he finds himself with a bit of extra time for once in a while. His hands play with the mug in his hands, mirroring the way you held it when you brought it to him and wondering if some of the warmth on the porcelain was from your hands. He hopes it was.
He’s about to head inside again when he hears footsteps coming up on the gravel, a little surprised that it didn’t follow the sound of a truck pulling up on the driveway. His eyes fall onto a familiar figure, relaxing as he realises he doesn’t need to run into the house to grab one of many concealed weapons.
“Geryll. Been a while, hasn’t it?”
The woman nods with a smile, a basket tucked under her arm as she skips up the steps.
“Thought you could get some breakfast in you. I baked these fresh. You work too hard to not have someone looking out for you,” she says sweetly.
He takes the basket from her arms, lifting the checked cloth as the smell of fresh breakfast pastries wafts out. He smiles kindly at her, setting it down on a table just beside him.
“Thanks. Your family makes the best bread I think I’ve ever had,” he says genuinely, nodding towards the table inside.
“Had breakfast already though. I’ll be sure to share these with the others when they come.”
She nods in agreement, crossing her arms as she shivers a little in the chill of the morning.
“I’m glad you like them. I tried a new recipe this time in hopes of correcting some of the stuff you mentioned not liking last time.”
“You didn’t hafta go through all that trouble for me. I just got a particular taste is all.”
“What are good neighbours for? I need to thank you for the product you send over on a regular basis after all. Thanks to you we don’t have to spend a fortune on meat at the grocery store.”
Similarly to yourself, Boothill doesn’t notice the way her eyes wander down his body. He’s oblivious as he starts to wake up some more, finally ready to head inside and start getting dressed for the day.
“You should head back. Your brother’s sure to worry if he wakes up and sees ya ain’t at home,” he warns, playfully shooing her off his deck.
“I’m a grown woman! I can do whatever I want.”
He laughs in response, crossing his arms as he shakes his head.
“You’re right about that but if I had a little sister like you I’d be worried senseless if I couldn’t find her this early in the morning. Go on, just go back home. Come visit during business hours next time. Wait - just give me a second.”
He makes his way back inside, grabbing a pair of boots and a flannel.
“I’ll walk you back home. Come now.”
She makes an attempt for his hand that he doesn’t see, pulling out his phone to send you a quick text that if you’re still up he’s just going down the street for a quick minute. He didn’t want you to worry, even if the chance of you seeing him walking off his property was zero to none.
The two of them make it to the other property fairly quickly, Boothill waving his hand to greet the farmer. Gyrell quickly makes her way inside, leaving the two men outside to talk.
“Mikhal, didn’t think I’d see you out this morning,” Boothill laughs, clasping hands with the other man. “Your sister came to drop somethin’ off for me. I assume it’s the fruits of your labour?”
“You know how she is,” Mikahl responds, rolling his eyes.
“I don’t mind her love for baking at all - the wife and I can focus on the crops while she prepares the fresh bread for the shops. I told her to wait until you’d be up before runnin’ over to deliver to you but she insisted she had to beat you to breakfast. She didn’t wake ya, did she?”
“Nah, nothin’ of the sort,” Boothill reassures. “I just wanted to make sure she got home safe.”
The other man is about to protest before Boothill shuts up him, shaking his head.
“I know she can take care of herself. I just worried if there are any coyotes or the like runnin’ about waitin’ for their chance.”
“Speakin’ of, you heard about what’s happening over at Stardust Lounge?”
“No. Somethin’ the matter?”
Mikhal’s eyes light up, clearly excited to share the hot new piece of gossip with Boothill.
“Get this. That lounge singer you keep going to see? Missin’. Nobody knows where she went and Sampo’s pissed. He’s been checkin’ in on people in town, tryna figure out where she could’a gone but nobody knows what happened. He’s been chasin’ a lead where someone said they heard a commotion behind the bar but the cameras were cut so he’s got no lead anymore.”
Boothill hums curiously, playing along.
“He’s offered a reward for anybody who can find her. Ten thousand. Pretty sweet deal, don’t you think?”
“You got any idea where she is?” he asks.
“Not a clue but if I find her I’ll be more than happy to split the prize money with you if you help me out. You were a bounty hunter before, weren’t you? Surely finding her wouldn’t be all that difficult for you.”
“I’m out of it now,” he says with a shake of his head. “I’ve got more important things to worry about than a pretty girl that went missin’.”
“Come on, don’t tell me you really feel that way. You went to shows just for her. Don’t tell me you’re secretly hidin’ her away,” he laughs.
“Nothin’ of the sort. I just have a livelihood to make and staff to pay. Try focusin’ on that yourself, yeah?” Boothill retorts, biting back a little instinctively.
Mikhal backs off, putting his hands up in mock surrender as he laughs.
“Alright, alright, I got it,” he drawls, stepping backward to go back into his house.
“Just wanted to let you know if you wanted to make a quick buck.”
“‘Ppreciate it but that won’t be necessary.”
Boothill makes his way back to the house, nerves beginning to eat him a little as he jogs the walk. He knows there’s no way anybody knows that you’re staying with him but he knows that kind of money isn’t something to laugh at. Logically, he knows that you’re perfectly safe but that doesn’t stop him from worrying.
“Boothill?” you mutter sleepily under the sheets, turning to face him once you hear him enter your room.
“Something wrong?”
You begin to sit up and he hushes you, coming to the side of the bed as he urges you to lay back down.
“Nothin’s wrong doll,” he reassures, instinctively reaching out to hold your cheek in his hand.
“Just wanted to make sure you’re going back to bed. Sleep tight, alright?”
You shuffle around a little as you work to get comfortable again. He sits next to you, still holding you. His eyes widen as you nuzzle against him, thumb gently moving against your cheek. His eyes soften as his heart finally settles, calm coming over him as he watches you sleep.
The silence is broken up too soon when he hears the sound of tires crunching on the gravel. There’s laughter and early morning greetings and he realises he doesn’t have anything set up for the others as they come in. He loathes to leave you but he has to in this moment, finding your hand and pressing a kiss to your knuckles.

Cynthia's character page :)
Tumblr media
Welp, here it is y'all. Cynthia's very large amount of information! Since she isn't a part of any fanfic so I can ramble for a while! It is organized in sections, so skip through stuff you don't care about! I hope the characters mentioned are in character!
Who is she?
Cynthia is a 17 year old, middle class teenager who lives on the top of her family’s soda fountain in Tulsa, OK. She has shoulder-length dark, curly hair and dark brown eyes, as well as skin on the tanner side. Around 5’7 ½ . She is a part of the group of families who are just between being a soc and greaser. Not as rich and emotionless as a soc and not as poor or wild as a greaser. But she mainly chooses to hang out with the greasers. She is very hard-working, her and her brother mainly running the soda fountain and can be quite stubborn. But she is also very caring, always letting greasers come in and helping patch them up if they’ve just been jumped. She does still go to school, she is quite good at math but other than that she’s pretty average. Some other character traits of her or little facts:
She can be extremely brutally honest. Like she can’t help herself but point out the negatives if you ask her. Which many can take offense to.
She has really good comebacks, mainly because she doesn’t exactly think before she speaks. It's good for rude people! But has gotten her into some trouble before…
Teacher: Now with those grades you have…Don’t expect to be able to join any sports, not that you had a chance anyways.
Cynthia: With that hairline, don’t expect to be able to get anyone to marry you. Not that you had a chance anyways.
She doesn’t hold any hatred for most socs, but she dislikes the ones who go looking to pick on greasers. Which means she also dislikes the greasers who jump random people.
She just matches the vibe of whoever she’s hanging out with, but since she hangs out a lot with greasers she can take on more of their traits
Her dream is to be an actress, this is because her mother and her used to go watch movies together as their girls thing and now deep down she wonders if she’ll get her mother’s attention again.
Since she has worked at the aforementioned ranch, she has a plethora of strength that she likes to show off.
Cynthia can be very observant without really realizing it. It’s how she knows so much about a lot of her friends (the gang) or family members. Just by catching little details and remembering them whenever needed.
Her closest family
Cynthia’s parents are ok people. Her dad mainly works at the family ranch that her grandparents’ own and her mother helps out with organizing the rodeo events they host. Her mother occasionally comes to help out at the soda fountain but Cynthia and her brother end up left to their own devices most of the time. Since both are almost adults anyways they’re ok with being alone a lot. (But it’s more on the unhealthy side how much they are with their parents since they just don’t come home like half the week. Cynthia blames it on their jobs taking over.) When they were younger, their parents raised them in a laid back manner. But certain things they definitely drilled into their heads. They would remind them about these rules very randomly. Like I’m talking:
*At the dinner table*
“Cynthia?”
“Yeah, mama?”
“I need you to remember this.” “...Ok?”
“Wait till marriage for the following things. 1#-”
Joey has let go of a lot of the rules he doesn’t like or just forgot them. Cynthia has held onto those rules more. (Probably because she wants the attention from her parents that she has listened to them just like they asked her to do.)
Joey is Cynthia’s older brother who is 19. He is a lot like Darry, but more like if everything went right for him. He acts a bit more like a soc but always helps out the greasers when he can. He got a scholarship from football but he enjoys baseball a lot more. He could win a Paul Newman look-alike contest (when Pony first met him he took a double take). With his literal movie star looks, girls have tried flirting with him at the fountain. But he is honestly really passive aggressive about the fact he has a girlfriend who he loves very much and her name is Roxie and did he mention he loves her very much? He is overall a very kind person who can also be very protective with Cynthia. (Especially with a certain hood *cough cough* Dallas Tucker Winston *Cough Cough*) Though he is still pretty young, he is usually the voice of reason in a lot of situations. He is a bit bitter that he can't really leave for college yet because of the soda fountain and Cynthia can't be left alone. But he's seen people like Darry so he's more at peace with it. He is the best bros with Angel's older brother Todd. (@ollenotter27 other OC)
Their cousins Rosemary and Tessa also basically live with them at this point. Rosemary is a 21 year old hairstylist with her own salon. She is extremely independent and a big fighter for women’s rights. She enjoys different arts and crafts but especially crocheting and knitting. She has also become a pretty good friend to the greasers and can be very mom-like to them all and with that become great friends with Darry. She helps him out a lot even if he insists that he doesn’t need it but he does really appreciate it. She’s also just there for him to have someone to talk to that is his age. Sodapop and Pony definitely think they should be dating.
Tessa is Rosemary’s younger sister at about 14 years old (and a half). She is extremely outgoing and sassy whenever she’s comfortable. She really enjoys hanging out with the greasers (especially Pony and Johnny) but is terrified of Dally. If there's anything Rosemary has taught her, it’s that you shouldn’t let the enemy know she’s scared. So Dally just believes at this point she’s a very rude person. Rosemary has also taught her how to do great hairstyles and how to fight. Rosemary is her main caretaker after their father left and their mother was just not mentally ok enough to take care of them. Rosemary initially didn’t want Tessa to have to constantly sleep in the salon so she would send her over to Cynthia and Joey. She grew up not being able to lean on others, leading to her being extremely independent and that was why she didn’t stay with them at first. But she was eventually won over.
(If y'all want to know anymore about the details of these goobers let me know :)
Her friendship with the canon characters
Ponyboy- She has noticed that he (and Johnny) can be very quiet so she tries to talk to him about his interests and just lets him ramble about all sorts of different things. So a lot of times he can be found after school drinking a Pepsi and talking about the newest movies while Cynthia cleans the dishes.
Sodapop- Soda is her best friend out of anyone in the gang (besides her boyfriend) and they hang out when they’re not working. They both have the understanding of having a more undecided future and also love for horses. She is one of the few who have actually heard about his insecurities, one of the few to know that he isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. She also has a dislike for Sandy (not in a jealousy way) because she doesn’t trust her. She just feels something off about her and how Soda seems to be the one to care a lot more. But she never says anything. At some point Soda talks about Mickey Mouse (the horse). After hearing some about Mickey Mouse, she realizes that her grandparents recently bought a horse that used to do rodeos and stuff and gets Soda to tell her what he looked like. She makes the connections and takes Soda to see him. He most definitely just fell to his knees when he saw him and it recognized him.
Darry- She likes him enough as a person. But she hasn’t really gotten to know him since he is working so much. She feels bad for him, especially knowing that he is friends with her brother, who is basically him if his life went the expected way. She knows most about him from Rosemary and is also a Rosedarry shipper.
Johnny- Like with Pony, she noticed that he was extremely quiet. But she also realized that it is more towards the point that she can’t get an answer out of him. She decided to leave him be and let him reach out if he really wanted to. But they ended up becoming friends of sorts when he learned that she just says what comes to mind and she learned that he can say some more rude things after picking it up from Dally. So their main thing is just people watching and judging. (Some people may see that as ooc but I’ve seen a lot of headcanons that Johnny has picked up traits like that from Dally so…)
Steve-She’s not exactly good friends with him. She has hung out with him and Soda before so they have done some chaotic stuff together. But it’s more the kind of trio where two of the people don’t really like each other, they just happen to both be besties with the one. But she does trust him and knows a good amount about him.
Two-Bit- She likes him a good amount. She wouldn’t exactly hang out with him alone but she thinks he’s a fun person. She learned about his younger sister and offers to help out with her when she can and he appreciates that. So in general, they’re nice to each other and everything but not besties.
Cherry- Cherry has come to the fountain with her friends several times so they are acquaintances. They’ve also seen each other at school or at Rosemary's salon. So they’ve had a couple chats but not much more than that.
Non-Canon Characters
Angel- (Angel is a soc oc created by @ollenotter27 :) They are both great at roasting other people and Angel has bruised Dally’s ego several times. So they sort of teeter on the friend and enemy line. Though once she starts dating Sodapop, they become better friends.
Dally will be covered in the relationship post! I promise y’all I’m not basic, I just like their dynamic

Just throwing this out there for the Drake vs Lance stuff but I feel so bad for Lance. Like look at what he had to deal with sorting out what came to light during Ash's Kanto Badge run: Pewter Gym was being run by the son of the Gym Leader and he along with his wife just skipped town and left their 10 children, Cerulean Gym was just giving out badges for chores done, Lt. Surge needed to adjust his team since he was facing new trainers with a fully evolved Raichu, Sabrina was turning people into dolls, Erika was letting her Gym be run by her assistants for the most part and they were being petty and practicing gender discrimination, Blaine moved his Gym into a VOLCANO and you had to solve riddles to find the Gym, and the Viridian Gym was a front for experiments and the Leader is in charge of Team Rocket. Then the criminals everyone has been chasing SOMEHOW infiltrates the Indigo Plateau, the supposed safest place in Kanto, THREE TIMES and the third resulted in the kidnapping of a contestant who managed to escape and was later BOOED OUT OF THE STADIUM in a nationally aired event. When all of this finally comes to light, Lance finds out the kid left for the Orange Islands, became their Chosen Hero and saved the world, and defeated their previously undefeated Champion and got offered an apprenticeship with him. At first Lance thinks it's hilarious because Drake needs a kick in the pants but sitting down and really looking at everything Ash went through and how he was sorta failed by the League when it mattered most, Lance doesn't blame the kid for not staying in Kanto or trying to compete in his home region's League again.
Honestly? I think this would be a perfect chance for Ash to see just how much work Lance does every day. No wonder why he wasn’t really there, he tried to be so many times, but other things and people kept hogging his time. Taking up space meant for Ash and Lance so desperately tries to hang out with Ash in this AU that’s going on but it just can’t happen.
