Animalistic instincts became a hassle when you weren’t trying to kill what you were fighting, after all. He found himself stopping short as his gaze landed on the woman, his head tilting just a fraction of an inch as he felt a few of the lacerations made by shredded metal on his hands egin to stitch shut. ❛ Can I help you? ❜ he questioned, voice slightly hoarse from the practically growling he’d done while training.

Elena couldn’t handle all the changes that had happened while she was asleep, iPhone had gone up to an 8th generation and her precious 5 was far from working, laptops had touch pads and music had lost all meaning and turned techno. One of the best things about his powers was all the crazy places he was able to go, his favorite being rooftops. There was just something about sitting on top of a New York building and watching everyone move about the city. Plus, it was easy to spot crime that way. He slid the mask over his head, stashing his backpack into a corner of the alleyway, and hopped onto the wall of the nearest building, preparing to climb up before spotting someone looking right at him. “Oh, hey! Didn’t see you there.” He really hoped she hadn’t seen him without the suit on.
