So like I’ve seen under some of your DnD posts that you can talk about your characters cus spoilers but can you talk about some of the others? Like your group? Or your character with others if they makes any sense? If that’s not like too personal or anything of course!! I really really like your characters and the designs for the others you’ve drawn are so cool too!

Zoatham is, in extremely simplified terms that bastardize a lot of definitions, a fallen angel. (He is neither fallen nor an angel because religion and gods and planes work weird in this completely homebrew world, but that’s a l o n g story.) Here’s what he looks like:

He’s a waiter in heaven—making food for the heroes of the material plane who had finally gotten to party until they literally go comatose from boredom and decide to sleep peacefully forever. Eventually, he goes “fuck this shit I’m going out of my mind with boredom” and steals a key that unlocks all doors between planes. Oops, Z starts an interplanar war! Paladins and clerics now exist because he leaves all the doors open in his escape, causing all the planes to fight with each other for power. In the meantime, Z desperately avoids all forms of religion because he’s not sure exactly what gods like him and which ones hate him—including his own father, who is The God, who he’s pretty sure hates and has disowned him by now. He runs to the elemental plane of air to lay low for 500 years, until an angry demigod finds him and boots him out into the material plane. BAM he crash lands into Pilla’s backyard:

She is a sweet tiefling girl who was adopted by the fae in the forest, and acts as a guardian for a kinda spirit tree in the area. She feels sorry for Z, and patches him up. The MOMENT he’s better though, he steals her shit and runs. (He has a bit of an issue with Fancy Things and Twitchy Fingers after being subjected to unending sameness for a millennia.) But! The moment he’s about to leg it, he hears a scream from behind him, and turns around to see an orc holding Pilla up by the neck during an orc raid. Dad instincts kick in and he runs to save her, and they become inseparable for about two years. Zoatham decides he can’t pull Pilla into the shit that he’s in, and tries to continue to lay low by disguising himself as a human (although his eyes still bleed through):

On Pilla’s 13th birthday, they decide to go into the city to celebrate. Shit happens, they meet the rest of the party, kill the king, find out they’ve been betrayed, leave as civil war breaks out, and are now traveling with a whole new group of friends! Notably Z has gotten engaged, twice, to Nova; a changeling man and just as much of a bastard as Z. They flirt shamelessly and can no longer tell if they’re being serious or not. Nova is also hellbent on finding out what Z is:

And they were husbands?? Oh my god they were husbands.

Z also tried to lasso a sandworm rodeo style, and nearly died as he got dragged through a dirt tunnel. But it’s fine! Don’t worry about it!

He seems to have an increasingly worrying trend of fucking himself up. Shit’s wild folks. This is the cliffsnotes version—feel free to ask if you’ve got questions, I have glossed over a LOT. Sorry for the ridiculously long post.
