Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud . After engorging ourselves at The House of Prime Rib we took a short drive up California Street to Nob Hill. We had an 8:00 pm reservation for a window table at the Top of the Mark but we got there early enough to take photos with the beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby. The life-sized "Toy Soldiers" and colorfully wrapped packages under the tree are a visual treat. I passed my Samsung S10+ off to get a group photo. Even I do it! . Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud . Last night Rick, Candy, Paul, Deb, Julie and I started off at the House of Prime Rib with our earliest seating ever at 5:00 pm. It wasn't crowded and the atmosphere was perfect! I broke with convention and ordered the Sea Bass and it was incredible. I slapped a collage together. Jose was our Carver and Aaron was our waiter. Both did an excellent job and we all enjoyed our annual meal at #thehouseofprimerib . Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud This is a view of Coit Tower you can't check off your list until spend a night at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Once you get checked into your room don't just lay around in bed and read my blog, take a walk and look around the building. There is so much history to read about with black and white photos of presidents, celebrities, athletes, foreign dignitaries and royalty that have stayed in the hotel. All are beautifully framed and perfectly hung. 🙌🙌 Or, if you live locally . .. you plan a dinner date on Nob Hill and make dinner reservations at the Tonga Room. You want to have cocktails at sunset at the Top of the Mark and you want to have a drink by the piano at the Big 4 Restaurant so plan dinner before or after those two stops. This is a great way to experience and get to know Nob Hill. Get there early and visit Grace Cathedral and check out the mural in the Masonic Temple and "The Fountain of the Turtles" in Huntington Park. To get this angle on Coit Tower you walk into the Fairmont Hotel and follow the signs to the Rooftop Garden. Walk to the northeast corner of the garden to take this picture.
