Welcome back to my history challenge!

It is 1383.

The war is raging on. Battles are fought and people die.

Evelune is living with her daughter Elysia safely tucked away in her cottage. Her 6 year old daughter is learning from her mother how to read the spellbooks. Elysia looks up to her mother and wants to become just as learned as her.

But then their peace is shattered by the Duke of Brittany. The Duke has heard the rumors of the Lady Humes’ son Alfred being the product of magic. Somehow he links Alfred to Evelune and tries to undermine Lord Humes’ rule by loudly proclaiming the young little lord isn’t the rightful heir. Lord Humes is furious. Deep inside he knows Alfred isn’t his son, but it is Lady Alyne’s son and that’s what matters. Her family are descendants of kings. Her blood is more royal than his and Duke Brittany’s! He will defend his wife.

Evelune panicks. She has heard of witch huntings in other parts of the world and is afraid she will be next. She cannot leave her daughter alone. So she deepens herself in magic to find a solution.

She finds a spell that makes Duke Brittany mad with desire for cake. And what is the bait that is used by cowplants? That’s right. Cake.

The Duke meets his end at the cake tongue of a cowplant. And by that the war settles down.

Evelune is secretly a war hero.

Back at our household, the children help as much as they can at the farm. But they also play together and enjoy their childhood. Alyssia finishes their portraits.

At the end of 1383, the soldiers return home. Rex and Margery can finally see their children again. Margery is forever grateful to her sister Alyssia for caring for them for all this time. She hugs her sister before Alyssia returns to the convent.

We also got new people in town. The Carbajal family. Felipe Carbajal is a woodseller and his wife Rosalie Carbajal is an artist musician.

I don't think I can watch it without the door, it would make this moment more creepy and pushing than him trying to get through to her. And in the office?! No! Elle does not need nor deserve that and Emmett would never. I just saw the clip from the previews where Emmett is chasing her before LB remix and I'm glad they took it out and had Elle tell Emmett about Callahan instead of Vivian. I feel with him chasing her and pushing it was bit much, especially after that number. Plus Elle telling him

Yeah it was either in his office or in the courtroom. But either way, in the new version Emmett is confessing to Elle in the same place where Callahan just made a move on Elle and that’s just wrong

To be fair though, some productions work around it by having Elle and Emmett sing on opposite ends of the stage to make it look like they’re separated and singing to themselves. But I still think that the door is the most effective and necessary for the ballad

And I agree that it’s more effective and emotional for Elle to tell Emmett about what happened instead of having Emmett hear it from Vivienne. Though Emmett being out of breath while trying to chase Elle was kinda cute in the cut scene

This creature is called a great woodsel. Standing over 200 ft tall it is a living moving ecosystem. With skin like tree bark and massive trees atop its head like antlers. Woodland creatures take refuge in the trees and on the woodsel.

Okay last bit of LB because I'm probably becoming annoying. I need NBC to air Legally Blonde Live like they did with other musicals ( Sound of Music, Peter Pan, and Jesus Christ Superstar) with a new cast and cameos by the original. Make it happen network people!

Yes!! Give us a Legally Blonde Live! Though I really hope that it would be good and well casted unlike some of those live musicals. Or maybe we should have a Legally Blonde the musical movie instead! I would love to see that
