Really digging the rowing (30 mins today). Smooth, full-body warm-up. Then hit the treadmill. Grateful for the sweat. Running/jogging puts me in a meditative state. Usually just focusing on the cadence of my stride, then before you know it, the run is over (or the gym is closing).. Was away from the gym for about a week. Schedule was crazy. Still, good to be back for a major cardio-blast. Sometimes it's even better as muscles are fully recuperated. Anyway, had a very meditative 30-minute rowing session (accompanied by some soothing Brazilian-jazz that I hooked up to the room's Bluetooth. I'm really digging these little touches that Blink offers). And while I waited for a treadmill to open up, I did a quick 10-min burst on the spin-cycle. Finally capped it off w/ 45 mins. on the 'mill. Niice. Felt really good. Sweat is a natural sauna. Managed to squeeze in a quick run before closing-time. When you start craving a good sweat, that's a good sign. For beginning runners/joggers, remember to run @ your own pace (whether walking or jogging). Slowly, steadily you'll build up your strength and stamina. Jogging is great in that way. Started w/ the rowing machine after a quick YouTube tutorial (proper form goes a long way #dontsleep). Cool, intense low-impact workout. Have to keep this in the mix. Then it was back to the treadmill.
