To celebrate here is the latest crazy sighting from the E/V Nautilus Exploration, a mysterious jellyfish found in remote Pacific depths. Dr. Dhugal Lindsay helped identify this jellyfish as a member of the order Narcomedusae, and an undescribed species within the genus Bathykorus. You love to sea it 🌊

New drawing of my precious OC from "Free! Iwatobi Swim Club", Marina Shiozaki, on an underwater ride with a shark 💛. As is known among fans of this franchise, the shark is Rin Matsuoka's guide animal, who is Marina's boyfriend. Next to Marina is a jellyfish, which is her guide animal.

More than a year ago I had the crazy idea of drawing Marina in a marine animal trainer outfit, Sea World style, and putting her swimming with a shark, but it took me a long time to put that idea into practice. I know this scene is impossible for many reasons, but I imagined it as one of those promotional images with anime characters doing weird and/or impossible things 🤣😅. I also know sharks are bigger but this is a baby shark, haha.
