I think we as a community need more cringefail Kazuma and Boyboss Ryuunosuke content bc I think their dynamic is super funny. Everyone thinks Kazuma is the cool one in the relationship but once they talk to him for 3 minutes they find out that he’s actually pathetic. People see Ryuu in court for one second and go ”man what a loser” before he instantly becomes an enemy of the state by digging up a decade long conspiracy in the coolest way possible

[Live televised interview with Weaver and some of the Wards]

Host: "So Weaver, you made quite the dramatic entrance to the Wards by shedding the mantle of Skitter. As one of Brockton Bay's warlords, you made quite a name for yourself. Do you have anything in particular you credit for your survival and even success?"

Taylor narrowed her eyes behind the opaque lenses of her mask, scowling unseen. In that moment she truly resented Glen's design for her newest costume, namely that it prevented her from properly visibly bristling at the backhanded remarks. She spoke before the silence dragged on long enough to invite an interruption.

Taylor: "When it comes to intercape conflicts, I frame those as do or die situations. Often the capes I oppose can and will kill me if I lose, so it only makes sense to put the situation in that perspective. With my penchant for multitasking, I have no problem meeting the 'do' requirement, so I survive until I can figure out how to win."

Host: "I'm not quite sure I follow. What is it that you do in those situations?"

Taylor: "Whatever I can do that seems relevant. It's do or die, after all."

The host looked to her coworkers with some amusement, turning her attention to one of the other wards for confirmation of a planned joke and finding nothing but matching confusion. She directed another question to the unnervingly still teenager in the white and blue outfit.

Host: "So you're saying as long as you're doing something, you won't die? That's an interesting way to look at it."

Taylor: "I don't think it's that complicated. It's not called 'do and die', after all. Pretty straightforward."

Across town, a group of teenagers huddled around a TV set lost their composure entirely. Lisa, who had sussed out the direction this was headed at the first question and had been barely restraining her giggles ever since, broke out laughing so hard tears filled the corners of her eyes. Brian pinched the bridge of his nose between his knuckles like he was trying to break it, muttering to himself about just how much that explained things. Aisha had flopped bonelessly over the back of the couch, halfway into a snarky comment before staring up at the ceiling and wondering if the bug girl actually had a point there. Lily and Sabah traded a skeptical look, not for the first time questioning the mental health of the supposed supervillain that had recruited them both to the ranks of the Undersiders.

I think Taylor should genuinely be considered a Tinker 1.

Her ability to use the byproducts of her bugs to make stuff goes beyond typical talent. Like, as someone who has tried to crochet and stuff in an art class making things from threads is extremely hard. And Taylor managed to make an entire outfit from silk sourced straight from spiders on her own with no prior experience? As well as make functional armor from the shells of normal bugs?

If that isn't Tinker bullshit I don't know what is.

here's my interpretation of Shadow Stalker. I based the mask off a mix of Doctor Doom and whichever scary movie guy wears the hockey mask idk I never saw those movies, but I really wanted to drive home that she's a psychopath. The cape is inspired by grimdark Batman because she's always monologuing like she wants to be him.

I think Lion is really funny character bc can you imagine being a totally normal person and some random guy and a weird teenage girl just bursts into the funeral of a distant family friend and tells you that you’d be a witch who put her family through a murder suicide in another fragment and L + ratio + you’re adopted + you’re an incest baby. Then once you try to move on with your life having learnt to appreciate the people around you and how lucky you are you find out that you actually never get to be happy bc your aunt will kill you no matter what. But then said random guy (who is literally willing to lay down his life for you at this point. Me too Will, me too) is begging you to never give up on your existance before getting rescued by another weird teenager and now you’re at an halloween party where your witch self is basically married to your cousin. Unfortunately weird teenager number one has beef with your cousin and sabotages his game so now everything is being eaten by goats and you have to convince weird teenager number two to save everyone bc you now represent the hope of the Ushiromiyas (and also every version of yourself from other fragments). Then people start fighting even more and the world gets swallowed up and you’re never seen again but thankfully you’re now in heaven playing badminton with this guy you met yesterday. You just had the most confusing 24 hours of your life. It somehow worked out
