I mean I wanna agree with people that ruby’s pretty tactical but the writing’s actively out to make her seem idiotic.

Like why does ruby and weiss literally watch discount sun run from them to fetch a dust crystal to give to reese?

Ruby baffled says “what?” While they watched him disengage from combat and just stand there.

*sigh* And there’s alot more scenes where that came from.

Yeah, the entire instance you bitch about is 3 SECONDS LONG. And before that, we can see the opponent is swift enough to dodge Ruby at close range so nothing they could do would stop him. SO yeah, not only did you not provide any evidence, not only did you not even reference the event specifically, not only did you basically misinform your audience, not only did you not even bring up an actually valid point: but you also make out 3 seconds to be an entire character as opposed to the NUMEROUS times that Ruby has been tactical.

Such as Volume 1 EPisode 8 Vs the Nevermore, Volume 2 EPisode 4 with the Atlesian Paladin, Volume 3 Episode 1 here where they matched up Blake with a swift opponent, Volume 3 EPisode 6 by choosing Yang, a close rang heavy hitter, and Weiss, a long range supporter, to fight alongside each other, Volume 3 Episode 9 With her opening Neo’s umbrella and Volume 4 EPisode 1, guiding the Geist off a cliff.

So yeah: COngrats. You fail yet again.
