Speaking of wwa I was at the San Diego show when Harry tripped on the carpet and fell. Still one of the most momentous things I’ve seen live at a concert. “Physically, I’m fine. Emotionally, I’m bruised.” I wouldn’t be surprised if fans died that night.

WWE Hall of Fame class of 1996

The Valiant Brothers tag team consist of "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant and the lates "Luscious" Johnny Valiant and "Gentlemen" Jerry Valiant. Only Jimmy and Johnny Valiant was inducted into the WWE Hall of fame.

Jimmy and Johnny formed the tag team in 1973 at World Wrestling Association (WWA) and won the WWA World tag team title on 5th Jan, 1974. They won the title back a month later and left WWA to wrestle for the WWWF.

Jimmy and Johnny wrestle for the WWWF in May 1974 and instantly won the WWWF World Tag team title on May 8th, 1974 and they held the title for a year before losing it in May 13th, 1975, setting the then record as the longest reigning tag team champion in WWE.

Jimmy and Johnny left the WWWF in 1976 and went to wrestle for the NWA and touring around the NWA territories like Georgia, San Francisco and Florida where they won the state tag title wherever they went.

Johnny returned to the WWF in 1978 and received Jerry as his new tag partner since Jimmy Valiant has retired. Johnny won his second WWF tag titles with Jerry.

Johnny left the WWF again with Jerry and wrestle in the indies in 1979 and working in Japan briefly in 1980 before disbanding the tag team in 1982.

Jimmy and Johnny Valiant was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996 and with their induction, they became the first tag team to be inducted.

Johnny Valiant passed away on Apr 4th, 2018 from a traffic accident at the age of 71 while Jimmy officially retired from wrestling in the indies in 2022, at the age of 80.
