“Here is your winner and the new divas champion…Shivani Guerrero!” The announcer says through the microphone as the arena buzzes with loud cheers.

Shivani leans herself down on the ring mat, catching her breath and trying to think back on the match that happened. It was brutal and it was nerve racking. Every slam, finisher, jump, and punch could have led to her either losing or winning. That’s what it did, led to her achieving one of the most biggest achievements she has ever accomplished in her wwe career.

Shivani sits herself up right as the referee holds the divas championship belt and it’s then that she realizes that she’s crying when she feels a drop on her hand.

“Oh my god.” Shivani lets out as she shakily grabs the title from the referee who helps her stand up on her shaky legs.

“You ready?” The ref asks her and all Shivani can do is nod before her hand is raised up in the air. The championship being held high for everyone to see that she is their new divas champion.

“Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!” The crowd chants and Shivani lets out a sob as she looks up at the sky and blows a kiss up.

I did it for him. She tells herself.

Shivani looks down when she feels the ring shake and sees her godfather climb inside the ring.

“You did it, mama.” Rey Mysterio says with a big proud smile on his face as he brings the girl into his arms as everyone around them cheers even more.

“I did. I really did.” Shivani sniffs, holding onto him tightly.

The ring shakes again and she pulls away and looks to see her long time boyfriend, Cm punk, stand in the ring with his own championship.

Shivani breaks out into a smile as she rushes over to him and throws herself at him. Wrapping her limbs around him while keeping a tight grip on the championship, feeling his arms wrap around her and give her a squeeze.

“I’m so proud of you.” She hears him say closely to her ear with a kiss following after and on her temple. “He would be too.”

Shivani pulls her head away from his neck and gives him a shaky smile, nodding. “Thank you.” She gives him a kiss before getting down and feeling both her arms being raised up by him and her godfather.

rewatching total divas and it’s making me feel so nostalgic!! the divas era is one of the many factors that made me fall in love w/ wrestling. But it’s also giving me ideas for fics 🤭 like maybe it could be a potential series or just some fics here and there in that universe (im just spitballing here lmfao) that takes place in wwe now w/ the reader being a superstar ofc x other superstars (romantically or platonically) in different scenarios! idk it’s just a thought but what yall think? :)
