//Artist is "smnius", source under the cut for reasons I also explain there!
//This art can be found here!
//The above URL links to the "SFW only" version of FurAffinity! While any link to this site that starts with "sfw" instead of "www" will prevent submissions flagged for explicit content from being visible, not only is the site overall NSFW, submissions are user-flagged! The mature and explicit labels are frequently only applied to nudity and directly sexual content by its users, and fetish material that lacks direct nudity is still frequently visible with the SFW filter. For this reason I want to put the link under a collapse, as a sort of filter. The artist CAN be found under that name in other locations, but that image is not available on the only other place that page links to, which is a redbubble storepage.
Not really an anti thing, but one of the earlier asks regarding Boyfriends made me think: has there been a situation where someone was accused of fetishising wlw?
I've never seen it, and have only seen antis accuse others of fetishising mlm, but I'm probably biased since I spend most of my time in and around slash content and basically never look at femslash www
Oh, and if it's not too much I'd also be curious to know what exactly they were calling fetishising!
I’m sure there has been but it’s not nearly as common
This past week we were working on a win streak analysis at work and we had things like “WWW” (three wins in a row) vs WWL and, of course, one of those was WLW
I eventually caved and was like “guys I cannot read this without thinking #wlw” and everyone else was very confused and that’s how I learned who was and was not familiar with tumblr
This is what great writing for wlw storyline looks like.. s19 could never.. www(.)thefandomentals(.)com/warrior-nun-season-2-love-letter-fans/
I'm not familiar with the specifics of this show since I've never watched but it seems like people really enjoyed this season specifically and that the writers did a good job so that's great! The more positive representation on tv for the community the better.
they appear to be neutral but exclusionist-leaning, which doesn’t really surprise me.
though, after asking them directly, they stressed that the whole block evasion situation was tumblr being fucky about blocked sideblogs and unblocked mains/vice versa, which also wouldn’t surprise me. and like. obviously only they (and maybe the people who felt block evaded) know the truth about what happened, so I don’t feel qualified to speak on that.
but yeah, long story short, they’re not super invested in the outcome of ace discourse (if asexuality/aromanticism are unanimously seen as inherently LGBT+ or not), and they’ve said outright that they don’t believe exclusionism is inherently aphobic, which I really disagree with.
This literally took me asking my friend to log onto my account and to block them from a laptop since I didn’t have access and they didn’t have any basic decency to leave me alone when asked. So now I guess I have to change my password. Hopefully they don’t block evade either.
Sorry folks, I’ll try to push some more positivity because I know you dont come here for discourse. I was just really upset that they don’t seem to care about triggering me :/
Hey this is the mod of www-wlw. You blocked me so i couldnt see your ask or ypur reblog (this is my private). I deleted the reblog and i tried to reach out to you to explain that im not intersexist or an aphobe. Anyways, i can block you back so we wont interact again ^^ have a nice day
I appreciate that you've deleted the reblog and that you'll refrain from interacting with me from now on. Thank you for that.
However, I really don't appreciate being lied to. What you said about the aspec community and intersex community was, in fact, aphobic and intersexist. If you have aspec intersex people telling you that you're being aphobic and intersexist, then sorry not sorry, but you are.
In the future, please don't talk over people the way that you did in this situation. Don't speak over aspecs or intersex people when it comes to aspec or intersex issues when you aren't either. It's beyond not okay. It's rude and highly inappropriate. To help make this community the best it can be, please do better.
