Dude’s lore is the coolest (I think) out of all the Undernet’s inhabitants.; A wandering samurai who wants to challenge the internet’s strongest. Almost like something out of Kurosawa, if he ever directed a Mega Man film.

Yu Narukami, the NetOp of YamatoMan.EXE. While it took some time to wrangle the Solo NetNavi under his command, the two make a fearsome duo that any NetBattler has to consider if they want to make it anywhere in competitive battling.

Look. If I'm autistic about any series more than Persona it's gonna be Mega Man, and I'm already a competitive Netbattler myself. So this was a given.

Old man uncomfortable in his high-tech grocery cart-turned-flying-baby-buggy, aka the greatest Wily Machine ever. 

Now that the color sheets are done, picking up with a few mostly new to me EXE settei. The one that isn’t new is the second scan of Laika’s tie clip, but this one is so much cleaner than the one I got in 2018, that had specks of copy artifacts littered all over the middle of the sheet.

That is followed up by Laika’s fencing rapier, a variety of weapons for Yamatoman, real-world Totem-sama, and Ditto Dingo with a screwdriver and his L-shaped tomahawk. 

Mostly, I still just love the overly-simplistic character doodles of Ditto Dingo and blindfolded-while-drawing-opposite-handed Yamatoman. XD

street fighter headcanon: other capcom characters exist in the street fighter world, but not as you know them in their home games. for example, the hikaris are neighbors of dan hibiki who regularly visit him for fun. lan and his sickly, asthmatic, POTS suffering twin brother hub (since heart bypass disease doesn’t exist) often visit dan to play games with him and yuriko (since she’s like 15 and they’re 12) and dr hikari actually considers him a good babysitter. lan and hub are actually training in the saikyo style; while lan is...only decent at it and does it about as well as alpha dan, hub is already at the level that dan is now in v with only a few months of training. dr. hikari was also a former member of s.i.n. and he never told dan about it; he plans to transport hub’s body into another seth-like body (but a seth-like body FOR KIDS) if he ever dies of an asthma attack or his heart stops working, but he has only told hub about this.

serenade.exe exists in the street fighter universe too! their name is sere nado (pen name), and they exist as the leader of neo mad gear, a new mad gear that’s goal is keeping peace and helping others. they are the founder, and their closest friend and bodyguard, sodom, is helping them with that duty while he’s running his yakitori shop. (and yes, sodom is also taking the role of yamatoman.exe in this.) another key member in their group is colonel, a former shadaloo doll in a similar situation as seth; they have a body somewhere in between the colonel iris body in the rockman x dive games and the colonel.exe body in megaman battle network. colonel.exe is...some sort of median system, and exists in simultaneous union with their “sisters”, headmates iris and colonel gunborg. they have other facets, but they neglect to talk about them, because either they’re harmful, or they’re simply “the angry colonel” or “the child colonel”, though they do have a median equivalent of an introject of their creator, dr. wily. they currently live with baryl, a former colleague of lieutenant guile until he quit the army and decided to live as a hacker. he and colonel are the closest of friends, and besides serenade, is the only one who knows colonel is median. sodom gets along well with colonel, and he loves “iris-dono”, but “ano...gunborg-sama is meccha terrifying, ne?”

the duke also exists in the street fighter universe, as does ethan winters (except he doesn’t deal with zombies, he’s just an average dude who just deals with supernatural entities like gill and g on an insane basis) and the duke. the duke instead is a former shadaloo experiment on human durability, hence the odd appearance of his flesh and ankles (i’m remembering this particular draft where he has sickly greenish skin) and he’s become a wandering traveler of sorts to deal with the trauma of shadaloo. neo shadaloo has tried to recruit him, but he always responds with “but i am simply a wandering traveler! i do not know what shadaloo has to do with me, yes?” (ed and falke are intrigued with him anyway)
