🎣He bursts out in tears when he comes to visit you only to find your motionless body covered in blood, barely alive. The first thing he has to do is get you to a doctor! That's the only thing on his mind as he picks you up and wants to dash to the next hospital, the next doctor, anywhere where someone can help you! His emotions muddle his brain and his rational thinking as he doesn't notice the strange aura around you, not until you wake up. Initially he's relieved when you regain your consciousness, until he takes one good look at your face, precisely your eyes. Gon has grown up spending most of his time in a forest, the glowing eyes looking back at him remind him of a wild and hungry animal, sharp canine glistening with your salvia. That's when it clicks in his mind and is the reason your teeth only scratch his skin, the red blood flowing out of the minor wound causing you to go crazy. Only when he holds you back and calls out to you do you come back to your senses, the tears in your eyes breaking him.

🎣Gon tries his best to go about his day with you as mundane as he can, even if only to soothe you who is scared. He goes even more delusional as a way to cope as he soothes you, tells you that you're still the same (y/n) and that he will find a solution. Yet he contradicts himself more than just once. You're kept away from people as much as possible although you with your hunger for human flesh you do your best to do so yourself. Gon on the other hand is terrified that if others were to find out about you, they would try to kill you. Sometimes your determination to avoid humans waver though although simultanously you get depressed because you know that they would fear you. In such moments Gon tries to comfort you, tells you that they just don't know you. If he knows that you're immune to sunlight, he would still try to take you out as much as possible though, even if you're always kept close. He's smart enough to know that he needs an exorcist to help you.

Killua Zoldyck

🪀A short moment where he didn't keep an eye on you and in the next he finds out that you were attacked, the culprit gone. They can run as much as they want to though, Killua will still find them. His darling takes priority though and differently from Gon, Killua notices that something seems and feels off. Your whole place is drenched in lingering and odd Nen, traces of it he can even sense on you. You're still alive and weren't killed either which raises Killua's suspicion. Instead of taking you to a hospital, he takes you with him and surely that proves to be the right decision when you awake and try at first to tear your teeth into his biceps. If it would have been any normal person, you would have killed them with your increased strength but Killua isn't any person. He can't bring himself to hurt you though, instead keeps on pleading desperately for you to snap out of it as he holds you down. There's only minor comfort when realization flashes in front of your eyes before he knocks you out again.

🪀Killua never leaves you alone anymore from that moment on as he blames himself heavily for the fate that has befallen you. You've lost your humanity, are afraid of the sun and crave human flesh at times although you do your best to control your urges. Your obsessed boyfriend never fears you, he's the bigger monster between the two of you and has killed far more than you ever will after all. What breaks his heart is the way you clearly are disgusted by yourself though, barely speak anymore or show your face which only awakes more urgency inside of him to help you. He's relentless in his chase after the person who transformed you into a demon as their fate is essentially either going to be death or helping you and then dying. They will meet an early demise no matter what for what they have done is something the assassin can never forgive. The same counts for everyone who, despite all odds, still finds out about you and tries to hurt you. They will be immediately silenced.

Kurapika Kurta

⛓️This one singular event in the earliest spam of Kurapika's obsession is the very thing that fuels his overprotective paranoia and leads his feelings down into the dark abyss. The primal fear to lose anyone he loves again has Kurapika entering a paranoid frenzy when he finds you lying in a puddle of your own blood, clinging onto your life. His eyes are burning red, tears are staining his cheeks and his chest hurts as he has troubles breathing. He suffers from an emotional meltdown, too terrified to even bring you to a doctor as the one who attacked you not only got away but is unknown to him either. His initial emotional overload keeps him from noticing the first signs about you as the only thing replaying in his mind in that moment is taking you, keeping you, protecting you. When you go out of control and nearly tear a chunk of flesh out of his shoulder, Kurapika sees himself forced to tie you up. He stays with you the entire time though, trying to reach you until you finally regain your senses.

⛓️You might have noticed the cracks inside of him before already but now Kurapika is completely broken. You're isolated and kept inside his house the entire time and he stays with you the entire time. You're freed from the ropes after a while though, after he is somewhat convinced that you won't try to run away from him or attack him but even then he always accompanies you. He's incredibly paranoid that someone will find out what happened to you and attempt to hurt you which is why he will silence anyone who might find out as his fear has him turning deranged. He will tell you the very same thing if you ever start missing socializing with others as he essentially drills the belief inside of you that they might try to kill you and that he's the only one who can help you and protect you from others and yourself now. He has to find an exorcist as soon as possible to return you to your human self, a goal that becomes nearly if not as important as hunting down the Phantom Troupe for Kurapika now.

Leorio Paradinight

🧳Leorio with his advanced medical knowledge would be the first one to do a checkup on you as soon as he finds out that you were assaulted and left wounded. So even if he might not be as sharp as his friends when it comes to detecting subtle changes in Nen, your anatomy and circadian rhythm and the change in it will give you away. He gets hurt as soon as you start attacking him though as he can't bring himself to manhandle you in any way, even if it's to defend himself in that very moment. The guilt is too heavy for that as he starts crying and attempting to get through you, unable to believe that you're fully gone now. You leave deep scratches on his skin, tear his clothes apart yet he doesn't do anything. Mere moments that are without a doubt a few of the most terrifying ones in his entire life because he was afraid to find out that you were completely gone end with you regaining your sense and starting to cry when you see what you have done, Leorio crying with you.

🧳His abduction is the least forceful because Leorio is going to be the most gentle about it. Yes, he is still traumatized and very much paranoid about the situation now but he tries to respect your own feelings more than the others do who prioritize what they believe is best for you. You're the one who is affected so Leorio tries to find ways to protect you and help you whilst still trying to give you as much support and happiness as he can. Considering that he's training to be a doctor, he would probably be quite good to draw conclusions out of the hints and the information he gets and find out more or less accurately what has changed on you. He attempts to do his best to cheer you up as much as he can because seeing you so utterly distraught breaks his heart. He knows that he can't help you though so he starts searching for an exorcist with the help of his status as a Hunter. He doesn't care how much money it might cost him, he will find a way to return you.

Killua isn’t overly expressive when it comes to telling you how much he loves you, Y’know since he didn’t really grow up hearing the words ‘I love you’ on a regular basis. So I think the farthest he expresses his love to you is through his drawings, and the occasional makeout session.

Killua would come to your home in the middle of the night with his skateboard and wake you up just so that he can tell you about the assassin life and how difficult it is. (As much as it’s fun to talk to you, Killua’s purely telling you so that you think twice about ever leaving him)

Now let's talk kidnapping...

If you got to a point where you couldn't take Killua forcing himself on you anymore and trying to flee, he would surely track you down in a short amount of time and then have you tied up tightly somewhere.

It saddens Killua deeply, to think that his love for you simply wasn’t enough to satisfy you, but he makes a silent oath to himself that he will try and be better, the second that he finds somewhere that will make sure that you never leave his side ever again.

His next step would be to inform his parents that a "guest" will be living with them for a while. KILLUA ZOLDYCK:

Killua will catch on right away. He can sense your bloodlust and will call you out on it. He doesn’t like it. It reminds him of his childhood. He will go to any length to avoid you if you don’t ‘quit your shit’.

Killua is a bit interested in why your love for him is like this, but will only make assumptions. He doesn’t want to get too close to you anymore. I will admit that i can see him being slightly scared of you. it doesn’t matter if he’s stronger than you or not- i think he’d worry about gon and try to distance himself. killua would induce his own lonliness for awhile.

If you kill to get his attention, he’ll just kill you. I genuinely think that manipulation is the only way to get to him, but you’ve got to be better than Illumi was (which is a hard task in itself). Good luck on getting him to bend to your will.

KURAPIKA KURTA:

kurapika would be suspicious of your behavior but wish for the best. i don’t think he’d catch on too quickly, but he’d be keeping an eye on you. when he finds out, he’s horrified. you’ve been doing this because of him?

in all honesty kurapika would be one of the easiest targets. he would flash back to his clan’s massacre and be absolutely fucking horrified- angry, but horrified. he would be angry that you were doing these things, but he’d be scared too. he can’t use The Judgment Chain on you. It would kill him! He needs to find his clan’s eyes!

If you find his Clan’s eyes for him and send them to his house, he’ll be forever grateful. i think this would be the way to his heart to be honest. like, i think he would feel indebted to you and try to do right by you because of it.

i also think that if you manipulate him enough, he’ll stay.

LEORIO PARADINIGHT:

Leorio is over the fucking moon when he finds out that he has someone that loves him. especially someone his type! i don’t think he would know about your behaviors at all until it was too late. leorio is the easiest target. you can’t change my mind.

But first he is some contest about them :

It was the the phantom troupe in a modern AU and then there was a school that was kinda like a special academy and of course there was dorms ( like the houses from hogwarts but the hunter administration that treats your file is the one doing the sorting) and obviously my delulu chrollo juc thirsty bitch that I'm ends up t in the phantom troupe dorm aka ✨the spider house ✨that everyone is scared to be sorted to ( you need to have a murder recored to be sorted their but most student s don't know bout that.

But first here is some context about them bitches :

🕸️ The school was like the hunter association and in the Spider house the only people allowed are the once that killed someone before. So I guess I got their becose I killed somebody? I don't know I just lived with them.

🕸️But there is the thing with the members is that they technically didn't "kill" anybody, at least that's what the authorities assumes before going trough Juvi.

🕸️That day they just happened to be in the wrong place wrong time.

🕸️It happened when they were kids maybe in elementary, they all lived in the same orphanage from the poor side of the city so they always hangout in a certain place after school.

🕸️At that time that were a bigger friend Groupe. But one day, one in particular didn't show up at school but it's fine they didn't think about it much, they were like " it's fine we will see her at the playing spot after school, Sarasa may miss school but never play time anyways" .

🕸️Class finishes they go to their usual spot expecting to find their friend *Sarasa*, but all they find is a black teach bag waiting to be oppend.

🕸️The kids were skeptical about it, some were scared but chrollo, the "main twinck" of the groupe insisted about looking inside of the bag that was suspiciously weird and suspiciously well tied. He tired at first but couldn't do it then then finx shoot his shot but didn't succeed either.

🕸️The kids grew frustrated and all tried opening it leaving their tiny finger prints on that bag. But that until Uvogine te bigger one arrives and finally opens it.

🕸️The first thing they noticed was the metallic smell (in the dream I was kinda their but not their), when everyone hesitated so look, chrollo did. And god he regrets to this day, looking at the inside where his friend's remaining body was.

🕸️Too scared by what they fsaw they run to the orphanage and told the adult not know that they will be used to cover some higher up from the city and with enough money they will be accused of killing their friend and all end up in a specialised juvi ( cause they were minors) that will change their life's and ruin their childhood forever.

🕸️After 5 years in juvi They all come out, many of their friends died during that time many lost their minds. But they survived and are now 16 years old. They get accepted into the hunter association academy? I guess? And that's how they become the most feared students of the .

🕸️ And that where the self insert potential gets jucy. And that's where I get in the story. Apparently I killed my mom? ( we had an argument that night before I dreamed 😂). And that's how I ended up their. I was so freaking scared. But weardly some of them were nice.

🕸️Paku oda was mommy. Machi was kinda sceptical. Shizuku didn't mind same for korutopi, bonolenove and Franklin.

🕸️ Phinx was decent he is from Egypt 🇪🇬 and I'm from Algeria 🇩🇿 so African besties✨✨, we watch égyptien and algerian comedy some times and we speak arabic too. And the fact that some kings from my tribe back in time were faraones ( yeah 'cause I' m amazigh) so we get in preety heated argument about it some times, but over all he is fine. Same for nobunaga we bond over video games and samurai movies ( blue eye samurai)

🕸️But their tiny bestie just straight up hates me. He dispises me sooooo much. He tried to kill I think. Put poison in my coffee ☕ 😂.

Why am I getting along with hisoka 'cause hisoka was supposed to be the scariest he told me not to approach him cause he would kill me but then we ended up being the bestest of friends so I guess he was kinda jealous.

🕸️But anyways I ranted a lot. But this is what happened when I woke up I thought that I got into a coma cus wtf it's was a looooooooong one and it gilt so vivid a and real.

🎣​Gon is a clingy boy himself so he is actually really happy to have a darling that is equally attached to him as he is to them. It only works in favor of his delusional mind. Why wouldn't he believe that you two are in a healthy relationship when you are so very glued to his side? It's incredibly sweet and only ends with him peppering his darling with kisses and hugs. The only downside is that he is pretty dense, he probably won't even notice for the longest time how deep your insecurities run and that there is a traumatic event behind your clinginess. Gon doesn't really see any need for you to be so shy and insecure, he views you as perfect and whilst he tries to cheer you up when you are sad, he doesn't see the bigger picture.

🎣​Plainly confused when he hears what your problem is. Why would anyone leave an angel like you and cheat on you? It blows his mind though now at least he has an idea why you are rather quiet and insecure. It's obviously the fault of your partner, you did nothing wrong and he does feel encouraged that he is the better partner anyways. He can make you happy, Gon is sure about that. There is an increase in compliments and jokes he cracks to have you smile, he drags you out a lot more on dates outside to get you out of your shell. There is a chance that he happens to say something insensitive from time to time, still unable to understand why you would feel the way you feel because of the actions of an idiot. Regarding the idiot, Gon keeps that grin on his face but it just seems a little bit too bright, contrasting with the agitated aura surrounding him.

🪀​Killua is touch-starved himself so he is glad that his darling is rather clingy themselves, though he won't make as big as a fuss about it. He tries to act cool yet it's obvious that he's a sucker for your clingy behavior. There is a mild fear that you might be intimidated by his status as an assassin so it's reassuring to know that you want him always near you. Yet Killua notices that you seem almost anxious when he has to leave, your attachment seems to be fueled by some sort of paranoia that he might leave you and your low self-esteem alarms him just as much. Despite noticing all of that, the white-haired male reaches a dead end, unsure how to approach that problem. How is he supposed to handle this?

🪀​There is a dark glint in his eyes when he hears what has happened to you and there is this distinct feeling of guilt that he didn't know about it sooner. Your somewhat strange behavior suddenly makes sense and all of a sudden Killua glues himself to your side permanently. He won't leave you ever like that asshole did and in a way it's a thing of pride to prove to you right now that he's so much better. He won't say much but lets actions talk instead. Long cuddle sessions where he really only frees you from his grip when you have to go to the toilet, soothing back rubs and your favorite movies and video games where he either leans his head against your body or keeps you in his lap. Let's just pray that your partner is out of your life for good or Killua will guarantee that they pay for their sin of leaving you for someone else.

Kurapika Kurta

⛓️​Kurapika is already overbearing and paranoid as it is under normal circumstances. So having his darling being so insecure, clingy and shy only worsens this condition since he seemingly goes crazy over them. He feels so much more protective and makes a huge fuss over his s/o, is barely able to leave them alone. He already suspects that there is a reason why you're so insecure and that thought agitates him already, gives him an uneasy feeling and he sort of pesters you to give him an answer. The Kurta doesn't really mind your dependence and clinginess that much since he can delude himself thanks to it but the idea of someone having hurt you and damaged you mentally infuriates him.

⛓️​He doesn't say anything when you tell him but the change of eye color speaks volumes and you might have to hold him physically back from storming out the house. He's enraged with this scum of ex for leaving you and his heart partially breaks for you because they're to blame for your fear of not being enough. Kurapika is loyal beyond death so now that he knows that you fear that he might leave you as well has him growing more paranoid. He has sworn to be a lover who can protect you so he absolutely smothers you in his possessive love and affection afterwards, mutters that he'll never leave you and that you're perfect. It becomes physically painful to leave you alone since he knows that you're anxious. It's easy to talk himself into believing that keeping you locked away with only him being your social contact is the best for you and your partner is never heard of again.

Leorio Paradinight

🧳He's quite dejected when he sees your constant state of insecurities, your fear of him leaving you and low self-esteem. As someone who wants to be a doctor I dare to say that he actually seems to realize that something is wrong. His whole mood basically is affected by you so he seems to be down more than just once a day himself yet pushes through it in an attempt to be there for you and help you. It's already painful enough for him to see you thinking so lowly of yourself, especially since he's a woshipper. On the other hand Leorio doesn't want to be too pushy and force you into telling him if it makes you uncomfortable, he ends up asking around though. He wants you to be happy, not anxious.

🧳​Ready to throw hands once he knows who is to blame for your misery and his darling has to hold him back as well or else he'll search for that guy and deliever a good punch. Leorio is not even able to comprehend the thought of leaving you for someone else and now that he knows your condition, his heart breaks even more. Nevertheless he is beyond determined to give you the love he deserves and goes out of his way to make you happy. From praising and complimenting you, showering you in physical affection and taking you out on dates to buy you your favorite food and gift you flowers and plushies, he does everything. If he has to humiliate himself a bit to see you smiling and laughing so be it. He avoids your ex like the pest though and if he does see him, he turns into a banshee with the insults and maybe punches he throws their way.

Chrollo Lucilfer

📖​He reads his darling like a book so he absolutely notices their clingy and insecure behavior. Chrollo is without a doubt going to use that against his darling from a pretty early point on since he wants them to rely on him and love only him. It doesn't take a genius to realize that you've obviously made a bad experience regarding a relationship in the past and with the help of his members it is only a matter of short time before he knows what exactly happened to you. There is no interest to help you to establish your confidence once again, instead Chrollo will break his darling mentally down and plant the belief in their head that they only need him. It's fucking terrifying how easy this is for him with the situation at hand.

📖​The leader is charismatic and charming throughout it all, lures his darling into a sense of security when with him. He adores the clinginess and will only worsen your fear to the point where you will end up begging him not to leave. He holds you close to him, lets you sit on his lap, reads books to you and will even let you wear his clothes if his scent helps you to calm down. It's no secret that he's greatly pleased with the way things evolve the way he wants them to do and your reliance on him has him going slightly reluctant to leave you at all even if he knows that you won't leave him. He coddles over his darling and the whole troupe ends up doting on you as well since you make their boss happy and they see you as part of their family. There is no denial that everyone is a bit overeager to take revenge on your ex and Chrollo will let them do so, torments them himself even.

Shalnark

📱He probably knows from the get-go what has happened to his darling in their past and there is no denial that he will use darling's vulnerable state against them just as much as Chrollo. He does his online stalking well after all. The knowledge he collects online is effectively used when he starts pursuing you with that sweet smile of his. Your favorite movies and likes so he can lure you closer to him even if you shy away, afraid to be hurt again. Shalnark knows what he's doing though and his sweet and doting affection soon wins over your heart and you're left with clinging onto him out of fear to be left again. Something the blond loves, he sucks up all the attention and affection you give him out of fear to be abandoned again.

📱He only gaslights you and just like Chrollo has no intention to help you out of your hole. Instead he only digs deeper. The whole situation fuels his delusions that he is some knight in shining armor and needs to protect you. Who else will love you like he can after all? Certainly not the dickhead that left you and with frighting ease he breaks down your already damaged defenses. You only need and want him, everyone else is unnecessary. Shalnark at least makes it a point to fulfill the role of the lovely partner in between all his manipulation. He showers you with kisses and affection and brings you presents every once in a while. There is always this sickenly sweet grin on his face when he holds you and tells you that you only need him and no one else. Meanwhile your ex is experiencing the worst time of their life since Shalnark doesn't want nor need them in his plans. Just die.

Pakunoda

💘​She has a fairly healthy relationship with her darling yet is perceptive and sharp. There is little to no time where she figures out that you suffer from a crippling fear that she might leave you and a case of low confidence and naturally assumes that you had a bad experience. Pakunoda won't use the situation against you though since she's a fairly harmless and caring Yandere and would rather help you getting over your anxiety and help you. She is patient and sweet, willing to stay with you longer if she can yet she is worried that you might grow too dependent on her. Pakunoda doesn't force you to tell her instantly though, even if she could use her Nen-ability. She wants you to tell her because you trust her.

💘​Listens silently to you when you decide to tell her and supports and comforty you instantly after. She keeps her composure aside from the small scowl that shortly flashes her face when she hears about how your previous partner left you for someone else. Rather than manipulating you, her main goal is it to restore your confidence and if you fear that she might leave you, she's willing to sit down with you and tell you why she loves you. Even if it takes her over an hour, she will have that conversation if it helps you. Her focus lies less in your partner, as long as they stay out of your life she'll let them be. If they do seem to want to torture you a bit, she will have a serious talk with them, mixed with warnings to stay away from you. Otherwise she'll channel all her attention into being there for you and helping you to restore your confidence and happiness.

Ever since you had become friends with Killua and Gon during the hunter exam, you had found yourself constantly being touched by Killua in some way, shape, or form. Whether he was playing with your hair, taking your hand in his, or hugging you tightly, Killua seemed to always need your touch. So then, it was no surprise to you that the very moment you exited the heavens arena match, Killua rushed over to you and gently grabbed your hand to get your attention, pulling you to his side.

As soon as he felt you pressed up against his, he felt your steady breaths and your soft skin against his, Killua breathed a silent sigh of relief. Not being the most 'enthusiastic' fighter, being a Zoldyck was already torture enough for him, but it was made even worse by the fact he was forced to be separated so far away from you. He couldn't talk to you, couldn't touch you, couldn't even daydream about you without Gon snapping him out of his thoughts. Somehow though, he had gotten through his thoughts of worry, and now he was more than ready to make up for lost time.

"Man I'm really hungry," he told you, his voice

"Me too, that fight sure did take my energy out" you laughed. "I'm just gonna head to the bathroom with Gon first, so I'll meet you down there."

"Okay, " Killua pouted, not wanting to let you go. He had only just gotten you back into his arms, why should he have to give you up to Gon? His eyes watching you closely, Killua hid as he waited for you and Gon to leave the bathrooms to get a little way ahead of him before making his move and following you. What kind of boyfriend would he be, after all, if he just left you all alone?

That reasoning, so wrapped up in his love for you, guided Killua all the way to the men and women’s bathroom, where he hid behind a large plant pot. Fingers twitching slightly from withdrawal of you, Killua instinctively stalked you and Gon as you both exited the bathrooms in sync. If he couldn't have you in his touch at the moment, he could at least still have the sound of your angelic voice in his ear.

"So, "Gon said as you two began walking to the food court, "you and Killua, huh?"

"What do you mean?" you asked back.

"You guys are so really cute together! Are you two dating or something?"

At his question, Killua beamed, his smile positively electric. As much as he loved touching you for its own sake, for the sheer joy and comfort it brought him, he was just as pleased with the other benefits. Namely, that of having people realize that you were taken, that you were off-limits.

"Oh," you answered with a slight chuckle. "We're not dating, Killua and I are just friends." Freezing at your response, the first thing that Killua felt was sheer confusion. He simply had no idea why you would lie about the love you and he shared. Did he do something wrong? Did he upset you somehow? Did he misunderstand something?

No, Killua told himself, that couldn't be it. You loved him, he just knew it. You must.. you must just be shy! Too worried to express your true feelings!! Yes, that was it, Killua realized in relief.

You were just so timid, you didn't know how to tell people about something so close to your heart. Well, that was okay, Killua thought. He would just have to make up for it then, would have to keep you in his arms at every opportunity, showing everyone that he was the only one who had your love.

Synopsis: You would follow him to the ends of the earth, which is something he both hated and loved.

Pariston was starting to annoy him, but it seemed that he was annoying you even more. Ging chanced a glance down at you, eyes narrowing at how you curled up against his arm. A pout evident on your lips as you fought the urge to mock the blonde on the stage.

Ging didn't understand you... He hasn't done anything that screamed "Yes. I like you. Please follow me to the ends of the earth".... Yet here you are, clinging onto him like he was some sort of lifeline. It didn't annoy him anymore, he'd even begrudgingly admit that he found some comfort in your presence, something he'd never voice even if he was tortured.

But you never cared, the only thing you seemed to care about was being next to him. He tried to think back to when you met... Was it before or after he had Gon? You knew about the child, but you had never seen him... or did you?

Ging couldn't remember, that time in his life was a blur.

You snuggling your head deeper into his bicep snapped him out of his thoughts as he flicked his eyes back to Pariston. "I hate him so much" you grumbled out as the blonde pointed your way and exclaimed that you were the "only person who would willingly be close to Ging". It was an insult and it made your blood boil, something Ging was hyper aware of.

"Y/n" Ging muttered, it was your first warning and usually that was all you needed, but-

"Actually, I'm starting to think Ging paid her to stay around" Paristons words made Ging roll his eyes, he knew what he was trying to do. Everyone knew that you were protective of Ging, even though you didn't have to be. And based on Paristons face and your anger rising faster and faster, Ging realized that Paristons plan was working.

But he was incredibly stupid for going through with it.

"I mean come on. Who would actually find him attractive? I guess it makes sense, considering she's an odd duck just like him-"

You bolted up from your seat, but a hand grasped your wrist before you could get too far. The crowd erupted into laughter but you couldn't hear anything as the blood rushed through your ears. Tears blurred your vision from Paristons words about Ging and now about yourself. "Awww is the little baby upset?" Pariston cooed at the way your bottom lip trembled, and while Ging looked calm and collected, he too was growing quite angry over this. He didn't care what the blonde said about him, but he was stupid for bringing you into it.

"S-shut up!!" You screamed out as Ging pulled you back, forcing you to sit back down beside him. Pariston laughed, which caused all the others to laugh as well, thinking you two were playing around. The laughing had you shrinking into the seat, embarrassment flooding your veins as the tears fell freely. Ging side eyed you, the sight of your sadness angering him more.

But he stayed calm, knowing that his outburst would just cause more problems, however.... His hand landed on your knee, squeezing the area in the hopes that you'd calm down. You didn't though, if anything it made things worse. Ripping your knee from him, you turned your whole body to face the stage. Ging never told you that he wanted you around, but his silence right now was telling you that he didn't care. You didn't know why, but that stung more.

Ging sighed, he was perfectly content with not expressing his feelings about you to you but it would seem that, thanks to Pariston, he's going to have to. "Y/n" Gings whisper hit your ears and while you were still upset, you couldn't help but melt at the way he said your name. "Y/n..." he whispered again, firmer this time in the hopes that you'd snap out of it. His hand landed on your thigh, thumb caressing the skin softly, comfortingly.

"Y/n... You know I love you"

Your shoulders went rigid, breath catching in your throat as his words played through your mind over and over like a broken record. Ging was trying to read your body language as he couldn't see your face, but by the way your shoulders relaxed, he knew that he said the right thing.

Or so he thought.

Your head slowly turned to face him, a scowl on your lips as you put your anger on him. "If you loved me, you would have stood up for me like I did for you" they felt like daggers in his chest, but he couldn't deny the truth behind them... Except for the fact that he did in fact love you, he just didn't want to face it. Your persistence was admirable and your kindness contrasted with his bluntness. He didn't know he wanted you... Didn't know he needed you. And now that you were looking at him like he was the worst person on this planet made him want to shrivel up and die.

But he knew you, knew what you needed.

Pulling his hand away, he nodded at you in silent understanding. Putting you back together wasn't going to be easy. But with the way you made him feel, he had to try.

The break was much needed, you thought as you made your way into the lobby. Getting away from Ging and Pariston... Really everyone was needed. Your sniffles caught some passerbys attention, and they sent a empathetic look your way. It would have made you feel better, but you instead wondered if they laughed with Pariston and didn't take in the fact that he was making fun of a real person... You. A sweet person who didn't ask for the hatred sent her way.

You reached the bathroom and went to open the door but a hand stopped it from opening. You turned to glare at the person and came face to face with Pariston. His smirk was wide and mischievous, as if he was planning something you couldn't predict. "Move" you stated, hand tugging on the door once more in the hopes that he'd move with it, but he only slammed it shut again, his smile never faltering. Your nose scrunched up in confusion and disgust, was he really trying to make you hate everything about him in one go??

"I just wanted to say that everything I said out there was true, all of it except for what I said about you... That was just to make you see that the asshole next to you doesn't care about you-"

"I swear to God I will throat punch you if you don't shut the fuck-"

"Your threats are empty. So I would suggest you shut your mouth and listen." Your mouth slammed shut as he snapped back. Your eyes wandered to the area behind him. The bathrooms were far enough away from the lobby that no one could see you and because the chatter was so loud, no one would be able to hear you either. Fingers gripped your chin, ripping you to a position where your eyes were locked with his. "Eyes up here" he cooed as his fingers dug deeper into your jaw.

Your breathing was shallow, mind racing as you tried to think of a way out of this. "I want him to drop out of this race" Pariston stated firmly, and your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Ging had no desire with being in this race, everyone knew that...

"You do know that Ging doesn't want to be the next leader right?" You muttered out hoping that maybe this information would loosen the grip he had on you, but it only got tighter. Ripping you up towards him, his lips ghosted over yours "I don't care what he feels, I want him gone". You automatically recoiled in disgust, the feeling of his lips brushing against yours causing nausea to erupt in your stomach. Even though you were mad at him, no one other than Ging, was allowed to put their lips on yours. "Can you let me go..." you whimpered out, your fingers digging into the wrist of the hand that was still angrily gripping you.

"I don't want to... I kind of like how powerful you make me feel"

Your blood ran cold at his statement, not liking the fact that your forced submission was giving him pleasure. "You're sick" you spat out. You tried to sound menacing, but based on his dark grin, you knew it was anything but that. His mouth opened again but he slammed it shut. If you weren't so scared, you would have felt the bloodlust that Pariston was feeling. "Pariston... I think you have something of mine...."

His voice floated through your hazy mind, but the words weren't registering like they should have. Pariston only rolled his eyes before letting you go. Not realizing that he was holding you up, you stumbled back, slamming into the wall beside the door. Your eyes locked with Gings and noticed that he was talking, you didn't know who he was talking to or what he was talking about. The only thing on your mind was just how scared you were.

Pariston was mean sure, but he had never done anything like this. This felt evil. "She's very submissive when you got a firm grip on her huh?" Paristons words snapped you out of your daze and you finally felt Gings bloodlust in full. It was angry, angrier than you've ever felt come from him before. It was as if Pariston had found the magic words to anger Ging, and by the looks of it, they worked.

"Touch her again and I will kill you"

Pariston laughed loudly, he himself didn't know if he was laughing at the fact that Ging himself was in love yet didn't know it, or if he was laughing at the pathetic threat itself. "Fine. Fine. I'll leave her alone... Was just having fun" lies. They were all lies, and Ging knew it. Pariston was one of the reasons why Ging kept you away as much as possible. The man was always drawn to you for some reason and Ging didn't like that.

Pariston turned to face you, hand going to your chin to cup it again in his fingers. He ignored the way you flinched away and instead gripped onto you to keep you still. "It was a pleasure playing with you" he purred before placing his lips softly on yours. You froze, hands shaking as you tried to fight off the panic. It ended as fast as it came, but it still left you breathless and not in the good way. Pariston let you go and walked back towards the lobby, slamming his shoulder into Gings on the way out. Ging didn't even flinch, his eyes only glued to you as he took in your fear.

He'd kill that guy one day, he'd do it in your name. But for now - "Y/n" Ging called out as he moved his way towards your shaking body. "I'm sorry. I. I couldn't fight him off I just froze, but I... I didn't want that!!! I promise you I didn't-"

Ging yanked you into his embrace, silencing you as he shoved your face into his neck. The tears you were fighting off bursted from you the second he wrapped his arm around your waist, grounding you to him. The hand on your hair massaged your scalp as he cooed reassuring words into your ear. The fear oozing from you made him panic. It was then that he realized just how frightened he was of losing you. He didn't think Pariston would have killed you... No... Death wouldn't scare him this much. He was instead worried that Pariston would scare you away.

The mere thought of you being alive and not by his side was what scared him.

"Please stay with me" Ging whispered, hands clutching onto you as if you were going to float away from him and never come back. "I'll keep you safe, just please stay" the words made him sound vulnerable and even made him feel icky. The way you made him feel was foreign, which somehow overshadowed his pride. He decided then, as you curled into him that this is what you needed. You needed affirmation, promises, and love. Things he never thought he'd give anyone.

But you were different. Always have been, always will be.

"Do you actually love me?" Your whisper was airy, and if Ging wasn't so heavily focused on you he would have missed it but it hit him full force. Did he love you? Was this love? He pondered on it... Watching Pariston berate you and physically assault you caused Gings stomach to churn and he couldn't control his anger. He's never felt that way about anyone, not even himself. But then he realized something.

When someone berates him or tries to hurt him, you get angry. So angry in fact that you would do anything to make them stop. When he asked you why you did that, you always told him that you loved him. Loved him of all people.

He let out a sigh, preparing himself for what he was about to say, knowing that once it was muttered there was no more hiding it. There was no more cat and mouse, no more tears, no more secrets, nothing. But the thought of that didn't scare him as much as the thought of losing you. So.

"Yes... It would seem that I do indeed love you..."

A smile graced your lips as you cuddled in closer to his neck. You could feel the skin grow warm and knew instantly that he was blushing. "Knew it" your teasing tone caused him to jolt back in embarrassment, but you held onto him tightly cooing up at him that you were never going to let him go now that he's admitted it. And while at one time that would have annoyed him, he couldn't help but notice the way his heart raced at your promise of never leaving.

Maybe love wasn't a bad thing.
