While I'd love to just rattle off some of my absolute faves I'm considering this to be more of a recommendation that would be safe and enjoyable for anyone.

My recommendations are Heesu In Class 2 by Lily, Fools by Yeongha, and my 18+ recommendation is Pink Heart Jam by Shikke.

In my opinion all of these are relatively tame, wholesome, and wonderful reads!

BL Reclist - Part 3

Thanks to @pullatta’s encouragement I come bearing more BL gifts! This is the third part of my manga/manhwa recs. This list compiles some of my current reads (the other 3 were mentioned in previous lists: Shutline, Steel Like Silk and Semantic Error). Curiously, some of these have an art style that isn’t what I usually go for, but the plot is so good and characters so compelling I couldn’t resist. There’s a bit of everything here: pls mind the heavy themes for #8; go with #3, #6 or #7 for feel-good slice-of-slice, with #10 for a fun rivals to fuck buddies to lovers. #9 has the prettiest art and top notch angsty historical romance. #2 brings sexy & tender vampire love, #4 and #5 are the way to go if you you’re looking for adult, nuanced and introspective stories. If you wanna choose only one go with Momentum, a masterclass in intimacy. I’d love to hear your thoughts! I think this will be my last manga list for a while, wondering if I should go for anime recs next? Hmmm 🤔

4. Lovesick Dog by Songhyel (E)

6. Our Sunny Days by Jeong seokchan (M)

Sung Ho’s not the kind you’d typically expect to settle down in the countryside. He’s in his late 20s, ex-military, and…a single father with a year-old baby his ex-girlfriend pawned off on him. minhae bought one of the tainted flower charms from the enchanted florist and now there's some lesser darkspawn following him ? cue him running into muse while he's trying to run get rid of it.

minhae is just minding his own business poking around market square during the festival when someone pickpockets him. naturally he goes to hunt the pickpocket down and ends up finding muse. muse wasn't the pickpocket, but maybe they end up going with him to find the person ? maybe stop minhae from shooting a fireball into their face bc that's not how justice works around here ?

muse runs into minhae close to midnight on the road to the wetlands, apparently getting ready to find that tree altar alone. maybe muse was planning to visit the altar too or they think watching him slosh through the mud is going to be good entertainment or they don't think he should go alone bc the night is dark and full of terrors, but either way, they end up delving into the wetlands together?? maybe get into a dire situation.....

muse runs into minhae doing some kind of ritual down the beach in an attempt to speak to his sun god.....maybe muse is interested in the ritual too or just wants to see what actually happens? minhae opens it up to them at some point too, insisting that muse could also ask the sun god a question, but whether muse actually buys into it or not is up to you. idk, maybe moments of melancholy! minhae is confused why he hasnt been able to speak to his god!

muse and minhae cross paths on their way to that pirate ship from the event and end up looking around the ship together, maybe trying to understand more where it came from or what the items are for?? maybe we can work in whatever they took from the trove ?

sohwi grows up quite human, with all the longing to be something more than that as humanity is wont to do, even when her birthplace is removed from the rift and magic and all the realities of what that entails. when she's nine, someone from the woods tells her about magic, mana, and those who have them. they even show her the broomstick they arrived on. she's just young enough to believe them, and old enough to know there must be explanations and how-tos for it.

so she goes looking, when she's old enough. she doesn't find a fairytale. it's quite the opposite, because she got turned 3 years ago. this is a big plot point that i'm leaving open as a wanted connection for plotting, but suffice to say it's a traumatic experience for her. she learns, not by choice, that a herbivore isn't necessarily harmless when she's on the goring end of their antlers—and when she's the beast itself soon after.

she ends up running from her birthplace with her sibling, seeking refuge or revenge or something else, anything to outrun the animal under her skin now. (she's also filling in for the turned sibling in the river runs red subplot!) their travels have taken them to yeonghae, one way or another, with a darkspawn picked up along the way from one night of desperation and helplessness.

she summoned serpentine out of anger/confusion and to fix things, to give her magic and power the way she had thought it ought to be like, and agreed too quickly to their deal. i think she's desperate enough to have been willing to kill but too naive to know what that actually means.

keeps trying to get her humanity back, but this might be a sisyphean task for her. either way, she's working in the most mundane spots of yeonghae, listening to stories at the theatre and wishing for simpler times (and trying to meet serpentine's condition).

sohwi is sweet and naive, but life experiences have turned her sharp. tends to have a quick tongue now to guard her heart, though she still gets carried away with good mischief and easy promises. kinder than she has the resources to be. she makes hasty choices on naivete or idealism, despite the fact that she should know better by now, and tends to regret them.

sotus is very dear to my heart. i watched it right before i went to university, so it really set that mood for me lol it's not a perfect story, the audio is shit at some parts, and the acting was sometimes stiff, but when the show hit, my fucking god did it HIT. of course i roped all my friends into watching it. it was based on a novel, but the novel didn't particularly stand out to me (sorry). there's also a manga now (3 vols) but i'm just loyal to the show, y'know? it also has a sequel, and that one made one of my friend cry (i actually had to pause the show lol), but for me, the first season is what's rly stellar. (lakorn / rewatches: 4? 5? a lot?)

sasaki and miyano by syou harusono is such an easy read, with lovely art, cute characters, and the softest, sweetest romance. it makes me feel like i've been hit by a car, then the car backed up and drove over me again. sasaki is the light of my life (and also if i looked like him, i'd never shut up. and i project just a little bit too bc oh he just like me fr), and everyday i think about making him my pfp. i owe syou harusono my life. i want to say more about this bc it rly is my fav manga perhaps of all time but that also means i can't say more about it LOL (manga / rereads: 6)

the cat proposed (bakeneko katatte sourou) by hayane dento is quite possibly the best manga i've ever read. the writing is so beautiful, and it's a really relatable and inspiring story for me. plus it's got catboys. *motions to my dnp catboy pfp* but in all seriousness, it's a genuinely great story that squeezes my heart and leaves me in tears (manga / rereads: 5)

doukyuusei is a certified bl classic. i've not read the entire manga series, but i've got the anime film saved to my laptop. that was another thing i roped all my friends into watching, and yes, everyone was gagged (animanga / rewatches: 4?)

koimonogatari by tagura tohru is incomplete, and the "love" part isn't there yet, but my fucking god. i think i just picked it up for funsies at the bookstore, but man was i unprepared. it's not a fun read by any means, nor is it easy, it's actually pretty brutal, but it's a good story, so i felt i should include it. (it is one of my faves) (manga / rereads: none bc i will kill myself.)

summer of you (kimi wa natsu no naka) by furuya nagisa changed me. it was one of those manga that was in my to read list for a really long time, but i just never did it. when i finally did, i totally regret putting it off. i think i cried. it has a sequel (summer with you), and that was good too, but that first one just really got me (manga / rereads: 1)

fools by yeongha has an art style i will forever be jealous of. the original, that is. i'm sure the remastered version is great, and probably the one i should read, but i'm just way too attached to the original and the art is (in my opinion) way better. the story is fun and sweet, and i read it at another formative time in my life. *jazz hands* (manhwa / rereads: 3)

my darling signed in by dimang and new lung. if there's one thing about me, i'm gonna read a video game catfish story. this manhwa is so fucking ridiculous, but i love it. it actually gets pretty dark, which took me by surprise the first time i read it, but it's not between the main cp, if you're worried about that (manhwa / rereads: 3)

dasadanan by herb mandu also has just lovely art. i can just stare at it for ages bc i'm so obsessed. also there's side gl, and i love those two girls so damn much. the story is very easy to read, fluffy, and it's just good feelings all around. it also has some really silly extras. (manhwa / rereads: 4)

history3: trapped is so... it is also dear to me. the main couple is funny and cute; however, it's the side couple that really gets to me. they're so ridiculous and fun, and the actor for zhao zi is an acrobat? does acrobatic dance? i'm not sure exactly, but they wanted to showcase that so he'd just be doing some random gymnast shit for no reason and it's so funny. and jack was made in a lab for me, so. y'know. (drama / rewatches: 2, about to be 3)

glasses cloth and playlist by gwak jonpil was recommended to me by a friend i believe, and i'm so glad i read it. it's another easy read and also very ridiculous, but when i say something is "ridiculous", that's usually a huge compliment. i LOLed at, like, every other panel. the main cp is so damn ridiculous, and i adore them. (manhwa / rereads: 1)

starting with a lie by liang azha has the softest art i've ever seen. that manhua is like a warm hug, if a warm hug also had you gritting your teeth and clenching your fists because GODDAMN JUST GET TOGETHER FOR REAL ALREADY! i love it. oh, but i don't like qiu tian. sorry. (manhua / rereads: 2)

how to survive as a villain by yi yi yi yi is... look, i'm sure it has flaws, right? every story has flaws, but wherever they are, i did not see them. i mean, it's a little bit ridiculous at times, but again, "ridiculous", and the mc was transmigrated into a once-good now-trashy harem novel. and he's also smart but oblivious. bound to be a little bit silly. but also this novel ripped out my heart and stomped on it. and i thought it wouldn't happen with the manhua, but i cried then too. what the hell. i really enjoyed this story, and i think it's what got me into transmigration stories in general :P (danmei / rereads: 2)

a shoulder to cry on by dongmul. okay. OKAY. this is not a "happy" story to most. also the ending without the extras/epilogue is bittersweet to ambiguous. the issue here is that I LOVE ENDINGS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!! this story is so damn good and i like the art a lot and god, some of the quotes? every time i reach certain scenes i have to pause and stare at the wall because no fucking way. it's just too good. i should go ahead and warn that the couple doesn't have the healthiest of dynamics and their relationship starts bc one of them lies and accuses the other of sexual harassment, so. i'm just letting you know now. but i let myself have toxic yaoi. as a treat. tbh to me it's not that bad, but i know everyone has different intensity levels, so. (manhwa / rereads: 3)

never understand by bbong is an... interesting read. arguably more toxic yaoi, and everyone at times can be kind of awful and annoying, but i think that's fun. sorry. i vividly remember reading this for the first time. for some reason. also, as with a good amount of manhwa that i read in my more formative years, i like this art style. (manhwa / rereads: 1)

semantic error by j soori and angy kim is a lot more graphic and hardcore (sex-wise) than the kdrama, which makes sense, but like... DAMN! my toxic trait is that every three panels i pause and go "hey does anyone else think these guys look like jaedo?" and the sniper that's supposed to shoot me any time i bring up rps lets me live because i'm objectively right. the characters are so damn infuriating, but i like watching car crashes, so it's alright. plus the art is good and, well, i never said i don't ship jaedo. *glass next to me explodes after a bullet cuts through it* whatever! (rereads: none bc it ended not that long ago. but i'll probably reread it soon)

no.6 by asano atsuko and here comes all the haters being like, "oh, that's not bl!" "that's more than bl!" "[some more dumb shit i don't care about]!" suck my pussy. i don't care. i loooove the novels and hope we get a printed official english translation. people are right to say the romance isn't the focus, but it's there, and honestly, i love plotty shit. i've heard it's supposed to be the "happy version" of banana fish or whatever the fuck, but damn if that's not a fucked up version of happy. i sobbed my fucking eyes out (novel & animanga / rereads: 2)

snow fairy by serizawa tomo. i'm not gonna lie, i don't remember this story, but on my big list it has a heart next to it, and i feel like i cried when i read it. i've said i've cried about like half of these, and i cry when i see something cute or when i think about my blorbo or when a song is pretty, so that means nothing. but this one really got to me! i think it was just a simple story with lovely art. it aches, maybe. actually, i've just found my initial review, which reads: "im so miserable....." (rereads: none, but i'd like to reread it asap)

bj alex by mingwa. insert loud and disappointed "ooh" from the crowd bc really, phil-lesterfan? i thought you were a scholar? with taste? LOOK. i know this is a basic manhwa, and i couldn't give a rat's ass about the side cp, but ahn jiwon somehow became pookie. it is agonising, though, 'cause like i said, i don't care about the side cp, but oh my fucking god, it feels like everyone else only cares about them. shoot me. also the side cp is into bdsm, but you can skip over their shit honestly. (rereads: 2)

aien catharsis by oshima kamome was another manga that'd been in my tbr list for ages. i really like how the story feels. aaaaand i just reread it and ah. i see why it affected me. (if you can guess what line stuck out to me, lmk, i'd love to hear it heh) it's historical fiction and has lovely art. tw for sexual assault, but it's not between the cp and it's also not shown. (manga / rereads: 2)

records show that jang, bomi is a 75 year old earth descendant dragonborn who has lived in yeonghae for her whole life. they are currently a shopkeeper at dragon's hoard, but other parts of their reputation must precede them — their faint aura of english ivy, or how they remind others of plucking flower petals and wishing upon shooting stars.

born 25 years after the first blight, she was raised to understand the gifts of nature and how to communicate with the earth in various cultures and rituals known to her family. she grew up sweet, quiet, kind, full of creative ideas and a love for the cottage in the middle of the forest to which her family resided. it's all she really knew, after all.

her desire for creative ideals grew at this young age beginning with creating figures or animals out of stone, then migrating to using flowers for pigments and dyes. it easily became a talent of her that she picked up better than the rest. a natural-born artist with imaginative ideas or concepts.

but, by the time she reached 40, there was an attack on her quiet home. thieves wishing to use their rare dragon scales and horns for the market—she didn't understand at the time how profitable their skin was. being the youngest, she was told to run. and as she did despite the weakening poison in her skin and the damaged horns/scales on her body.

being weak, and close to death, she used a ritual she learned from her late sister. a ritual to summon something from the forbidden rift in times of emergency. a triangle with her blood on the floor, then a circle, before her own body hits the ground. she didn't know what happened then; only remembers waking up to an unfamiliar face and the taste of blood on her lips. he must be the being her sister told her about. but he was much more sweet than the tales she's heard.

with that, bomi migrated into the towns to a family friend with her newfound bond by hiding her damaged horns with a beret and clothing to cover up any revealing scales or scars. she used this time to heal and understand the city she's never visited her entire life until now.

it was a stroke of luck the locals adored her art and use of nature to depict different forms. it easily helped her open a shop on the south docks to begin a new life—one she hopes will pass by safely this time around.

some art friends that sell or learn through her store, or merchants/adventurers that help her gain the materials she needs to make her paints and figures. she plays this part 'kinda like a hannah montana vibe.

someone to sit next to at the library as she struggles to study modern culture. maybe that someone helps her despite the strange nature she gives off.

the family friend that her and her bonded pact partner move to when all things seem lost. the person that keeps them safe and warns her them of how the locals can be.

maybe some people that don't like the idea of a dragon opening a.. shop.. of all things on the southside.

or fellow dragons that love the concept and come to visit her all the time. they take her in like their child to help her not feel so alone in what seems like a big world compared to the forest.

the sun sets everything alight in a golden glow, touching the edges of everything seohan sees like it’s with the swift strokes of a paintbrush, like here, the sky and horizon and glimmering waters could all come together like it’s supposed to, yeonghae a cup overflowing with ichor that coats it all unseen. the victory gardens are a sprawl right behind him, where he lingers near the entrance, having arrived early with flowers wrapped and tucked against the crook of his arm, fresh, warm pastries from honeybee's wrapped in a square of tied fabric, still warm from the oven.

the flowers are freshly cut and rival the scent of what lingers in the garden ahead, and seohan watches the sun steadily sink across the sky as he waits, eyes the way the magic of the florist lingers in the bud, the enchantments of luck and peace, of sowing new relations.

his mind still cuts into the conversation he’d had with his father in his office that morning, that the new date they’d set him up with is the most auspicious one they’d found yet. it's the closest to engagement he thinks he's ever been— actual history between their families, even if it goes back generations, had set alight a fire in his father’s tone unlike seohan had seen since he’d handed him the position of overseer.

he wishes for this to go well, even more than that quiet murmur of his heart he doesn't dampen, then for that excitement in his mother's eyes as he left once she's shown him the letter. if this he can’t do right, then it runs even deeper, a disgrace to their ancestors for seohan to not echo whatever call that brought their families together even all those years ago, to honor it in his own way. the yoon's hadn't returned since the first blight, who else could welcome them back than the yang's, whose ancestors had saved those of their family even before the weave tore open and cast them apart?

honor, duty. its in the line of fabrics that he wears, a deep, emerald green folded around his figure, embroidered family sigil in silver, shining thread lining against his chest, of a dragon curled around a pearl, encased by flowing waters of the sea. honor, duty, yes, he listens to who came before him, even if they are nothing more than memories and whispers, even if all of this was never really supposed to be for him.

for him, now. he heard the unspoken meaning behind his father’s words, the time, the location, almost as close to when he gave him his title and position. not unlike, either, the last time he uttered his brother's name in that house, where his voice and his memory still lingered in the walls and seohan didn't dare to upset it further with another breath.

this is not something he’s allowed to mess up. this is not something he’s allowed to be tainted by personal memory or preference, this is duty. this is what he’s meant for. no matter then, what matters now, that all of those years in the shadow of what he looked up to was a spot left empty for him to fill.

so he fills, like water, tries to not spill over, fill just right. his hair’s still a little damp from earlier, combed back, seawater clinging to him and the suppression of anything else that makes him seem less than human. there had been nothing in the water to tell him of what to do, hasn’t, for years, other than the cradle of waves that knocked him back and forth down below, beckoned him deeper even as he rose up for air.

he’ll do this right, as reliant and unyielding as a morning tide, sweeping the beach right over. he’ll do it right. not as he’s always been, but now should be.

amber eyes scanned the room around her with little interest. not that she was particularly capable of actual interest but even if she had been, she was on hour five of her shift at the yeonghae public library and even less had happened than usual. nothing new had come in from the docks to be poured over and catalogued. no one had come in and create a commotion she needed to silence. if an older woman hadn't been in as soon as the library opened she would've swore the place was closed. it was a ghost town.

it had only been a minute, she swore it was the briefest of moments she had closed her eyes and would've told anyone asking the same but the truth was she wasn't sure how long she had nodded off but once she heard the bell announcing the arrival of a patron, she was shaken from her light sleep. from her position behind the counter she simply did what she had always done best-- watch from afar.

the young woman seemed unsure of if she was in the right place or if she was allowed in the building. something had her seemingly off kilter and the reason mattered very little to caedes. in fact, the reason meant nothing to caedes unless it caused trouble for the tranquil mage. if she had nothing to inquire and no issue to cause, the two would likely go the entire portion of their meeting without interacting.

pretending to be busy, hoping the woman could help herself or see the entire engagement pointless, caedes pulled a large leatherbound book from a stack she kept next to her station. it wasn't filled with anything of real interest, especially since she had practically memorized the text by now, but anything to avoid the potential to be social was suddenly incredibly interesting. her eyes stayed trained on the draconic text, even once she became clearly aware of the presence hovering to her immediate left. 'what could she possibly want?' the thought was combined with a self contained eyeroll as her gaze raised to make contact with another pair of eyes.

"what do you need?" the question was less one that someone with a customer facing job would ask and was more a demand, the tone devoid of warmth she no longer had.

SPRING didn't have a face until he reached the surface. at home, in the dark, the seasons had no reach beyond the gap in the rock, and all minhae knew of spring was an extraordinarily blue sky.

there were more colors up here. and more light, of course — warm and resplendent, so far-reaching that he was delighted to stand under the shade of some awning and still be able to put a hand out to feel it. in those first few days on the road, he had insisted on keeping the windows of the carriage down, so that the light could stream in and his god could feel him close. he'd imagined his first month in yeonghae unfolding in all kinds of ways, but he had thought most of all that his god would find him and commune with him before his alliance with the yangs, at least, so that the sun could advise on whether it was a good match, but the sun hadn't so much as sent him a sign since his arrival.

his parents certainly had their own opinion about it, which they said was the sun's will. but, minhae thought, he would have really liked to hear it from the sun himself. the ritual was the only thing he could think of doing.

he'd taken to carrying an umbrella when his skin proved unfortunately easy to burn in the sun, but for now he set it aside so the sun would have no trouble finding him. his ritual mirror laid next to it, wrapped in cloth until he finished building the necessary pyre. he just couldn't get the damned thing to stay up.

minhae frowned at his pathetic pile of rocks and sticks. in the distance, the waves roared. he wondered if he should have chosen someplace other than the beach.

he glanced around. there were a few people nearby, a lot of unfamiliar faces for that festival, but none of them seemed particularly helpful. then he glanced in the other direction, and there was his first stroke of good luck all week, in the shape of somebody much closer—observing? no one ever stared at a ritual so openly.

"you. hello." minhae eyed them up and down. they looked useful, at least. "do you have nothing better to do for the next minute?"

hey there! i'm leon (21+, he/him) here with yang seohan, a water descendent dragonborn who's been in yeonghae his whole life (technically since the first blight). while he's usually tending to his duties between due north trading company and the shipyard, he tends to run pretty constant disappearing acts (usually into some kind of water) if you happened to be looking for him..

there'll be more under the cut, and i'll be updating his pages soon with a bit more depth, but leave this a like and i'll be around in your dms to plot and chat!

seohan uses he/him and they/them interchangeably, and while he appears 27 years old, he's been around for 288 years. this means his family was present during the blight, and also one of the original families that was around when yeonghae first started to form once blight was sealed. that said, his family's been involved in the creation of the due north trading company, and has been integral in the trading and voyages that take place in compass port (with a dedicated section to their own ships in the shipyard) so they're pretty well known around town

as an overseer, seohan signs off on important voyages and deals with most of the larger trading contracts that helps supply the town, and he's been in the position for a handful of years now, as given to him by his father

it wasn't originally supposed to be his position, however. seohan's older brother, ilseo, was the one who was set to take over as an overseer in the company, but as he set off to take a voyage in celebration of his birthright around 40 years ago, he never returned. seohan took over his position and his family resolutely tried to quiet the news of what happened and let seohan take over the position. he never speaks of his brother, now, as does any of his family mention him and actively Avoid doing so, but it's something he's never taken lightly in their denial and silence

he was very close with his brother when they were younger, and he took the disappearance of him in his life deeply. while tied to the company and the port, he's never been able to leave to go looking for him, and he still holds every hope that his brother is still out there and had his reasons for not returning

as such he very much feels Undeserving of his position and while he does handle all that he needs to for appearances and the continued importance of his family in the business, he usually finds himself anywhere else when he gets the chance

he's always been connected to the water due to his affinity with the element, and he's often found in the lakes and ponds of the blackwood, the southern wetlands, or at mooncrest beach swimming for hours (in part, because he believes that one of the only ways he can ever find his way back to his brother is by somehow communicating to him through the water, as he believes, all things return to the rain and sea)

he learned quite a multitude of musical instruments when he was growing up, and sometimes, he moonlights at whiskey's rest to play for the crowds on weekends, even though it's under the cover of a hood and mask (he can play Most instruments or sea shanties if you nicely request..)

they are very devoted to their family and position, and it's mostly what drives most of his decisions. it's been known for awhile now around town that his parents intend on marrying him off now that he's settled into his position, As Is The Way Of Things, and so if you've had the unfortunate view of him on one of his many blind dates, it has been through Gritted Teeth.. more recently, however, his engagement to yoon minhae (@/heavenwrought) has been taking over most of the previous gossip surrounding his parent's past matchmaking attempts

usually, he hides any of his draconic features during the day, but the yang family name has been around long enough that it's evident of their dragonborn lineage. if you happen to catch him when he's running a bit too tired, his eyes are usually the color of cool, blue pearls, scales of emerald green and ocean blue tinting along his neck, and sometimes, even the beginning of silver, almost opalescent curved horns from his temples

some possible plots to consider (i will finish a more solid plots page soon!):

you've been around as long as seohan/his family has, and maybe you even knew his brother, ilseo. with it becoming a much Avoided topic around town and with his family, maybe the both of you seem like the only ones invested in his appearance (and any possible news of what happened/anyone in the crew that returned without his brother)

he regularly lets you go out on voyages/rent a certain ship that he's seen that you have quite an affinity for. as such, he always has it ready, and tends to reserve it off to the side just in case you happen to come looking for a contract, and if you want to spend some more time with the ship, then he lets you

you also tend to deal with him in trading deals, your business/work supplied by what they receive in the port, and it's such a consistent deal that sometimes he comes by to deliver the goods himself. there's always a few extra thrown in, and perhaps he's coming by for the brief company, too

you frequent the blackwoods/southern marshlands/mooncrest beach and you just see each other there so much maybe you've just gotten used to Coexisting in the same space since there seems to be No avoiding each other

likewise, if you're in the water and seohan is just Always where he shouldn't be, like Taking Up Your Water Space. maybe you've seen him fully exposed with his draconic features and know all of those rumors of his family to be true, because he always tends to let them be revealed when he's in the water

when he's at whiskey's rest to perform, it's usually bracketed by taking up a table in the corner and minding his business with a drink. he doesn't have many stories to tell, but the ones he does he likes to retell over some drinks and good food, and you've both gotten used to interchanging them late into the night even if he never really gets around to telling you who he really is

you both are always renegotiating a contract, and its become a bit of a banter between the both of you. it's a risky balance between amicable and irritated, and one of these days, will you both ever find one contract that you're both satisfied with or will it finally all tip over..

he's at the shipyard quite often, working on ships and looking over construction and repair work on the ones the trading company own, and you might not even know he's the overseer due to the reason he's always down there doing things with his own hands, but he doesn't quite try to correct you, either. he's happy to be able to pretend, even for just a little while, that he's not Yang Seohan, Overseer

you also live at victory garden and just have general apartment spats.. he's playing the piano at three in the morning or his violin on the balcony at early hours and you do Not want a classical alarm clock, thank you..
