they're from the anime/manga jujutsu kaisen, and they are:

gojo satoru. love of my fucking life. my fucking everything my boy my man, i am so so in LOVE with this man i cant even begin to tell u. he consumes my every waking thought, my life is dedicated to seeing him get fucked. (he's the guy in my header humping his all into the other's arm)

and (ryoumen) sukuna. beautiful sexy evil man.

so in this world, we have jujutsu sorcerers, who are people with special powers that they use to defeat/exorcise curses, which are basically evil spirits born of negative human emotions

gojo is the strongest jujutsu sorcerer alive. he is insanely strong, not a single person can go against him. his powers make it so that u literally physically cannot touch him. he controls "infinity" and can warp space, and he also has pretty special eyes that let him perceive things at a much deeper level than a regular person. those two things combined make him quite literally untouchable. and insanely powerful.

as for sukuna, he used to be a human who lived thousands of years ago, who used to be the strongest sorcerer of his time, and is considered to be the strongest sorcerer in history. he is the King of Curses, no one could ever defeat him, or destroy his soul, which he divided into his 20 preserved fingers so it would survive through time, even after dying.

so itadori yuuji

this lil baby boy (literally the babiest sweetest boy to exist btw) (he's actually the main character haha)

due to some stuff, he ends up eating one of sukuna's mummified fingers and sukuna reincarnates inside him. yuuji becomes a vessel for sukuna, who lives inside yuuji's mind now and sometimes takes over his body (reason why they look the same)

and now, yuuji is sentenced to be executed bc he holds the most evil sorcerer in history inside him, but gojo goes nope! wait a minute, let's not do that. and manages to convince the people in charge to postpone yuuji's execution, saying that they'll get yuuji to find and eat all of sukuna's fingers and then execute him, getting rid of sukuna all in one go.

ok so that's the context (that's actually what the anime's about haha), but as to gojo and sukuna.

THEY ARE IN LOVE

well, they're there. sdkkhfkjdkfdf

ok no, so like they do their things right. gojo is a teacher (tho we never actually see him do any teaching lmao) and sukuna lives inside yuuji and causes trouble sometimes. they don't really ever interact in the story (they literally meet and have a lil confrontation, decide to kill each other and never talk again djshjfdasdadfd) (until they actually have their Fight, more on that later)

BUT!!!!!!!! they may not interact, but they are completely tied together narratively.

as u can see, they're both the strongest from their respective times, so they have a lot of links when it comes to their characters themselves and what they are referred to in the story. specifically that, in being the strongest, they exist in a plane above everyone else, literally untouchable.

now, in the story, this position of strongest is coupled with solitude, being the strongest meaning u're alone and no one else understands you bc of this

and SO they have their fight. bc plot reasons right. this is obv what it was all gonna lead to. fight of the two strongest.

and the fight, consequently, revolves around that idea of solitude, and understanding each other.

which like. ok. yeah we saw that coming. ofc. no big deal.

EXCEPT, to make reference to their relationship and that idea of understanding each other, the term that is used is, and i kid u not, love.

there's a very specific phrase that is used multiple times between them. which is actually used originally with a character who shows romantic feelings towards sukuna.

she challenges sukuna to a fight and sukuna promises to marry her if she wins. her goal in this fight is to share in sukuna's solitude and show him love (read R→L)

but she says this to sukuna and this. this is his reaction.

SUKUNA KNOWS LOVE ALREADY

to which she gets super pissed bc that's not!!! love!!!!!!!

sukuna defeats/kills her. and u know when the next time that exact fucking phrase is used? when sukuna and gojo finally meet again and set up the date to have their Fight, where sukuna remembers her words

which tells us that.

sukuna was.

thinking about gojo when she said that.

BUT IT DOESN'T STOP THERE. this phrase is then repeated. multiple times.

LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW THEY'RE LOADED WITH SEXUAL TENSION

this was in their first meeting where they fought (for quite literally 10 seconds)

next day sukuna goes "hey im gonna kill u first <3" and gojo just goes "teehee omg really? *hair twirl* <3"

they also decide to have their final battle on dec 24 which is like a super romantic date in japan (explicitly said so by another character)

and their FIGHT. it is LITERALLY just them flirting and touching each other

LOOK AT THIS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i fucking lost it. i still haven't recovered. that is the hottest thing i've ever seen in my life. gojo wants that dick so fucking bad

not to mention thigh grabs and hand touchies

and the entirety of the fight is just them having fun 😭😭 they're supposed "enemies" on opposite sides and the fate of the world is at stake here, but they actually don't give a fuck about that.

they're literally smiling and having a great fucking time. this fight for them is just play. their fight is just for them to have fun as the strongest and to connect with each other. they're enemies but they don't hate each other or anything, they only search for that sense of fulfillment in each other OTL

AND ABOUT THAT, oh my GOD

sukuna wins. he defeats gojo. and at the end, this. is what sukuna says to gojo at the end of the fight:

FUCKING. I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU. SCREAAAAM THAT'S ROMANCEEEEEE.

and the soft smile? the fucking petals falling all over them? oh GOD they're trying to kill me

but that's on sukuna's side, what about for gojo? well

Hunting, Hunted

F1 is, all things considered, not that different from F2 – at least not to Oscar. There's the learning curve, there's the growing pains that keep him up at night, and there's the spotlight; it's not all the dissimilar from the F3 transition to F2, really.

But there's one thing that he hadn't anticipated.

It's a lot more… He shifts in his seat as he thinks about it, not paying nearly as much attention to the driver's briefing as he should. Charles looks over at him, sat between Max and Pierre, and his eyes are like pins in the wings of a butterfly – sharp, painfully sharp and oh so focused.

As fast as he looks at him, he looks away.

Oscar swallows.

It's a lot more like foreplay, like some really fucked up foreplay where everyone wants to claw out your eyes before they shove you down.

Frankly, Oscar's not sure if he's handling it well; he's certainly not handling Charles Leclerc and the way he can wrap anyone around his finger with a one dimpled smile. Lando's give him looks before, the silent one where Oscar's positive he's calling him an idiot, because he's caught him staring at Charles in the paddock – Charles laughing through interviews, Charles jogging after Carlos with his racesuit tied low around his hips.

But it's not the looks. Beautiful men, like many things about F1, aren't that new from F2.

It's Charles, and everything about him, specifically.

It started in Belgium, lap thirty-six.

Oscar managed to beat him on the outside line, managed to show him that he was that much more confident, that he was that much better. And it felt good, it felt fucking electric; Oscar nearly let himself smile in the car, and maybe he would have if he'd spared a look back – but he hadn't.

Somehow, that made it so much sweeter.

Charles had given him a look cold enough to freeze hell later that day, and Oscar had taken it in stride – literally. He kept walking by, not giving him the pleasure of even a raised brow. But that was normal, at the time, or at least Oscar wasn't alarmed by it. Competition is competition, and tensions run high. They did in F2, they do in F1, whatever.

But by Zandvoort, Oscar realized he was wrong.

Charles had sought him out after the race, still dripping champagne and rubbing at his eyes – trying to will away the blinding sting. In the fading daylight, he still looked shockingly alive, as if he drained himself in the weeks away from the podium like a sacrifice. Before Oscar could mumble out a disingenuous genuine congratulations, Charles beat him to it.

"No smart move from you today?" He smiled, all teeth and no sweetness.

It punched Oscar in the nose. As the crush of post-race circus swarmed around them, Charles drove a knife right into his smarting cuts. He twisted it.

"I was hoping for a better fight. From you, I mean." He continued, and all Oscar could do was stare, mind gone entirely blank. With a wink, one of his better attempts, Charles clapped Oscar on the shoulder and started to walk on – pressing him down like a disobedient dog. "Try harder for me next time, yes?"

Belatedly, at a speed entirely unacceptable for a racing driver, Oscar put the pieces together. Charles wanted to do more than beat him, dominate him. He wanted to consume him after breaking him down into miniscule pieces, but he wanted a fight; it makes his stomach twist, makes somewhere lower than his stomach ache.

Rolling his shoulders, mentally brushing off the feeling of Charles's hand on his fireproofs, Oscar moved on like nothing happened.

And now Charles is looking at him again.

Pierre turns and looks too, losing interest immediately and whispering something in Charles's ear. Charles swats at him blindly, still holding Oscar's gaze – almost as if to prove that he can. He needs to prove that he won't look away first, maybe. Or that, more importantly, Oscar will.

He doesn't.

Neither looks away as the briefing ends, pulled together by some invisible string amidst the casual chaos of the drivers dispersing. They stand nearly chest to chest; Charles smiles like he wants to lean forward and bit Oscar's nose off, spit it down at his feet.

They wait, peripherally aware of the room growing empty, the air becoming still. The wait until it's just them, just the sound of Charles's voice.

"This circuit is mine." Charles says, faux-casually. It's loaded with meaning, loaded with an unspoken 'so try and take it from me'.

Oscar raises a brow. "Thought it was Ferrari's."

"Is it not the same thing?" He leans closer, taunting.

"Guess so," Oscar agrees, voice not betraying his heart rate. "Beaten both before, anyways."

Charles laughs a little, haughty and toying – like a cat watching a mouse try and work out some clever escape. Their faces are too close together for Oscar not to feel it, for it not to leave a trail of blushed Ferrari red on his cheeks.

Charles still hasn't looked away. Neither has he.

"Make it a good fight, I want to earn it." Charles finally says, voice ringing in Oscar's ears.

"You think I'll just roll over for you?"

"I would never," His voice drops low, head tilting slightly to the left – lips parted like he wants something from him. "Because I want to rip it from you, the podium. So promise," Charles's breath is hot on Oscar's lips. So close. Their eyes stay open. "Promise to try and get me."

Oscar moves first, leans forward to steal Charles's lips in some sort of psycho-sexual moment of delirium. He takes Charles's breath, he takes Charles's hands in his hair, he takes every bit of Charles that he can get under his nails and teeth and tongue, as some sort of agreement – some sort of 'I promise'.

Mitsuri found out about Sanemi’s liking towards ohagi through Shinobu, who found out through Giyuu, who found out through Tanjiro who knew because of the constant aroma of the mochi around the Wind Hashira. The moment the news reached her, she was scouring her kitchen for the right ingredients. After making a quick trip to the store for some red bean paste, she set to work making it. A few hours later, she was on her way to the Wind Estate, directed by her crow. She hadn’t bothered cleaning herself up much—mostly because it had left her mind once the excitement of delivering Sanemi mochi had overcome her thoughts—and the embarrassment of it sunk in as she reached the house. Of course, she could always go back and change, but what of the mochi? What if she ended up dropping it or something on the way back?

Besides, she was sure Sanemi wouldn’t mind. She wasn’t sure if he really cared about her appearance.

As she raised a hand to knock on the door, it opened itself. Startled, Mitsuri squeaked, taking a step back. Sanemi stood there, looking equally confused.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

She flushed, suddenly feeling quite foolish. She hadn’t given any prior notice and she was here with some food whilst covered in who knows what. It took her a moment to compose herself, swearing the temperature was rising by the moment.

“Uhm. Uhm, Shinazugawa-san, hello! Hi!” She laughed nervously, repeating herself as she stumbled clumsily through her greetings. “Hi, Shinazugawa-san! Nice to see you!”

“You came here.” He peered at her. “Were you having a food fight or something?”

That only worked to make her face burn and she desperately held up the ohagi in an attempt to spare herself. It was wrapped neatly in what she had thought was cute earlier but now felt stupid. “I brought you ohagi,” she mumbled.

“How did-“ Sanemi paused, an expression of irritation sweeping over him. “God, it was Kamado, wasn’t it? Or Tomioka?”

Mitsuri shook her head. “Shinobu-san, actually. But they did contribute…!”

“Mm.” Sanemi snatched the ohagi, looking at it suspiciously. “Is this homemade or something? Is that what you were doing?”

She nodded. “I wanted to make you some ohagi… I also like mochi, you know? And I thought maybe— Well, if you wanted it… If we could eat together one day? I dunno, well, I- I just wanted to make you some! Because…” She trailed off, fidgeting with one of her braids. His lack of reaction was making her nervous.

“Right.” He opened it quickly, balancing it on his hand almost delicately. He took one tentatively, biting into it. Mitsuri waited and watched, tempted to ask if he liked it but not wanting to sound rude or impatient. After a moment, he took a few more bites from it before popping the rest into his mouth and retying the cloth.

“Ehm…” Mitsuri bit her lip, gazing at him expectantly.

He ignored that, motioning for her to move aside so he could walk past. She frowned sullenly when he just continued down the path retreating from his house. But before she could be any further sad about it—though something like wilting disappointment tried tugging tears from her eyes—Sanemi turned and waved the wrapped ohagi in the air.

“I’m not up for eating together but you’re welcome to make me more,” he called out. Then he turned the corner and was out of her view. Even so, she heard him add, “and I’ll eat the rest later!” and then he was gone.

Mitsuri stared after him for a long moment before barely contained exuberant squeals threatened to convulse her and she wiggled about in her silent excitement, unaware of her crow giving her a concerned look as she all but skipped back home. She swore that her heart was beating fast enough to result in a Demon Slayer Mark by itself, cheeks a simmering red in the best ways possible.

You're absolutely right about poly ships, but in general with supporting ships I think "would people searching for JUST this pairing be interested?" is a good litmus test. That's often what I ask myself when trying to decide if a B-couple should be tagged as their own ship or should go in additional tags.

By the way, if a couple just shows up briefly or otherwise has a really small role such that people there for *JUST* that couple wouldn't be interested, PLEASE put it in additional tags rather than ship tags for the love of god! So many people don't seem to understand this is an option, and perhaps those kinds of people aren't the kind to read your blog, lol, but I still want to say it. Someone in the replies was talking about a poly fic that constantly updated with a bunch of chapters, clogging their ship tag where it's just two of the people in one of the poly ships, not a focus itself. My tag has like FOUR different regularly-updating, multi-chapter fics right now where it's tagged as "background ship" clogging it! I hate it so much. This is especially common and agonizing if you're in the fandom for one of the less-popular canon ships, since they're so often in the background of some more popular couple. I was in a fandom where an only-really-popular-as-support F/F canon couple was my OTP, and most of their tags was fics focusing on the more popular M/M and F/M couples where my OTP were there for like, maybe a paragraph at most. And people never tagged it in a way that made it clear if it was that or something that might genuinely feature them. Agony! I know you can use "otp: true" but I'm not averse to a good fic with multiple ships where my OTP actually matters in it!

On that note, I wonder if it's ever polite to maybe make a note of it in comments? I'd probably do that anonymously, but especially when you see people who are relatively new to AO3, I wonder if they just don't realize that that's what they should do in these cases. I wonder how many people just don't realize that "putting ships in the additional tags" is an option, and are thinking of tagging more in a Tumblr "indicate the ship is there so people who don't want to see it at all avoid" way than a "tags are for finding it if you WANT it" way.

Yeah, for real.

In most of my fandoms, side ships shouldn't be tagged most of the time just because of the typical posting dynamics. Fics that really merit that b-plot ship tag are rare.

In other ones (BTS, I'm looking at you), there's shittons of fics featuring like three separate ships, all of which have significant page time even if one is the lead. Even the "rare" ships aren't that rare unless it's a specific OT4, so it's not that annoying to me when something else is in the ship tag.

But The Untamed? Get your damn juggernaut tag out of my rarepair so I can use otp:true!!!

And yes, tons of people think AO3 tags are for warning people away or for tagging every single ingredient, not for making a fic findable.

Okay so, This is sorta similar to yesterdays thing, and also, I’ve literally posted about this, but now that I have my medication, i can ACTUALLY write it. TMF DOUBLE LIFE AU- Okay okay wait wait lemme recap then I’ll go into detail, because I dont want this to be a complete restatement of my older post, as its been more fleshed out since then.

So, for a recap, if you dont know what double life is, them it’s essentially the 3rd season in a mcyt series called “the life series/traffic life”. In this season, people are paired up with anothet person, their soulmate, and they take damage when the other person takes damage.

However, with that being the canon, many different headcanons and fan conceps have popped up for it, such as feeling everything your soulmate feels (Physically and mentally). I’ll only give one example because there are physically so many that i’d be here all day talking about them.

I would also like to take a second to say that i’m a firm truther in the fact that double life is an allegory for the fact that you cant be forced until love. Also, remember that soulmates can be platonic or romantic, or sometimes even enemies! (Not like im gonna make zailey soulmates, they could be platonic but Its just not my thing)

So what I proposed is that we take the tmf guys, and we throw them into the double life universe! This au was just a thought at that point, but I have it mostly mapped out now! So, heres a lil thing showing all the pairs ^^ (what no, I didn’t steal half these screencaps from rosypenguins and the tmf suffering bracket…LIESSS/silly)

(The letters to the side stand for what the pair is. R means romantic, p means platonic, q means QPR, and c means complicated)

Now im not gonna sit here and go over each pair, however, i’ll dump some headcanons for the au!! (If you end up using this au, which i totally dont mind, please change anything you want!)

-The reason Drean is a confusing pair is because they dont know eachother, or atleast, not well. They’d probably not know how to properly talk to eachother at first. I could see this going from not knowing eachother, to platonic, to romantic, but any way works and they’ll be able to be interpreted as romantic or platonic

-Staisy QPR because yes.

-ran out of people to pair up, and decided “huh, okay then, sadie and maria” and tbh, why not. New rarepair. They go from mild dislike to loving eachother practically as soon as they bond.

-all the pairings in this are based upon canon friendships, my personal headcanons, and whatever I felt like putting together.

-Lia and Zoey are NOT friends in this au, well atleast not anymore. But they’re stuck together.

-Hailey and milly cause i need to see them interact more

-Milly and Elliot totally do a secret soulmate thing, like bigb and grian, but are super awkward about it. Hailey and jake know, and they think it’s hilarious

Enough about the pairings, au facts time!!

-Drew is a past watcher. Take that as you will with your own watcher lore ^^

-Sadie is a listener, also take that as you will with your lore.

-Because I can and Because I will, Liam and henry live in the “relation-ship”. They’re the boat boys. No other pairing lives in the same houses as the original mcyts, Just those two.

-green, yellow, and red lives still exist. Yes they can die. Yes, my friends, this does mean angst.

-Will take place in the terrain of the double life map. Only things that are missing are the structures that were built by the mcyts, the cake does not exist, nor does pearl’s tower or anything. The relation-ship is there but thats an exception.

Mayyy update this, part 2 with my othet au may come out today or tomorrow, depends on how lomg it’ll take me to do stuff. ^^

5. Do you respond to comments? Definitely!! Comments are such a serotonin boost and I love responding to people and thanking them for commenting because it genuinely means the world to me.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? A Ghost We Both Know has a very angsty ending. I’ve had a few people even ask for a second chapter but I fear the angst is the end of it.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I’d say Just A Tug has a very fluffy ending.

8. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes. I’m very new to it and quite frankly I have no idea what I’m doing and it sometimes feel like torture but I can’t stop writing it LOL. I’m learning as I go on so every time I write something I’m basically experimenting but I do feel most comfortable writing queer smut.

9. Do you write crossovers? No. Not something I read or write.

10. Have you ever had a fic translated? No

11. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No but sounds very fun.

12. What is your all-time favorite ship? If we’re talking ACOTAR it’s Tamcien 🤭🤭

13. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I have this very unhinged tamcien/elucien cheating fic that’s just dialogue in a document somewhere and it’s never seeing the light of day.

14. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue!! Most of my fics stem from random dialogue scenes I’ve made up in my head and I think I do a good job writing realistic fun dialogue. I think I’m fairly good at writing the overall scenes too—speech tags and tones,character expressions,introspection between all that. I like my dialogue scenes to be very detailed.

15. What are your writing weaknesses?  Still very new to writing so to me everything 😅? But mainly descriptions of sceneries and surroundings. It’s such a specific skill to be able to capture surroundings into words and articulate it well and make it sound beautiful and I’m just not there yet.

16. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? The idea of using google translate and someone noticing its all so off is just a big no to me. I do however speak arabic so 👀👀

17. First fandom you wrote for? ACOTAR

18. Favorite fic you’ve written? Surprisingly my most recent luzriel fic. I really struggled with writing it bc I was going through probably the most stressful weeks of my life but I somehow finished it and it was exactly what I imagined?? I had such a vivid image of what it looked like and I feel like I conveyed that really well. 

It’s also such a rarepair and there’s no scenes of them even remotely interacting so I had to build their dynamic from the ground up. It was a challenge to write a character like Azriel who I don’t really read too many fics about and is also so enigmatic in the books. I had to do so much research on that man like I was out here searching what he smells like. I know him too well now.

im going to sign up for that sw rarepair exchange! I think it'll be fun!! It'd be fun to write for someone, and to get something as well! I'm awful at participating in fandom beyond writing and posting stories but I'm doing my best!

I'm getting a lot of asks right now!! That's making me really happy! I like getting asks!

I'm eating some pretty delicious food right now - and I have more delicious food waiting for me for all the other nights. I found some new meals I never tried before that I like and I'm eating a lot healthier than I have been! Better late than never, right?

Everyone has Bode as the ocean and Cal as fire, which yes love. But I really like Cal as a meteor shower. It makes me think of his meditation space (which is a lengthy talk) and his general Cal-ness (I'm not good at character studies or sounding smart so bear with me). And then if we talk poly then that's Bode as the ocean, Cal as meteor showers, and Merrin as the fire because I like having my polyships with different vibes (flashbacking (ha) to my westhallen days rn)
