Very recently became obsessed with making friendship bracelets after I went to a Taylor Swift night (where we were 'promised' friendship bracelets but only managed to get two between five of us) and have also been obsessed with my cat (always tbh she is an angel) and finding new pairs of jeans/some good going out shoes that are also comfy

What if I reminded you how much zone runners love friendship bracelets and that we don't talk about it enough it's all bad luck beads this bad luck beads that but not enough friendship bracelets/lh

And I don't mean it purely in the friendship sense either, of course they gift them to each other a lot too but it's also a beloved form of art! You can get hand drawn complex patterns that are passed from person to person and it's kind of a flex when you have full arms of different bracelets because either you yourself have put so many hours into them or even better someone else has spent so much time on making them for you

And different crews or friends or partners ofc have matching ones sometimes even with special patterns made just for them and kids often wear ones made by their family which are also used to help them get returned home if they get lost and there's just so much more potential do you guys hear me??!

Just a flustered (highschool) Lucy after Linda gave her a flower! feat. her and Alex's friendship bracelet (I think Alex taught her how to make them)

Technically, this is the first thing Linda ever gave Lucy!

And later down the road, Linda will be going through some of Lucy's old notebooks, specifically one that was about flora of Jorvik. It's a book where Lucy documented every single plant she could find and the locations in Jorvik they are found in!

And this little flower is pressed in the book, it has a note tied around the stem with yarn. It says the date and "when I realized I really liked her."
