Yesterday (beware of spoilers!)

Just watched the Yesterday movie the other night!

I thought it was quite a good plot with a nice message. Personally I thought the romance thing was not really necessary but made it a bit rigmarole. I thought the Jack and Ellie's decisions concerning their love life/lives was elusive and seemed too artificial/not natural ... (why did Elli demand Jack to give up his career for her? In my eyes this didn't fit to her character's earlier behavior)

Otherwise I thought Himesh Patel was awesome!!!! I really like his voice and his way of acting! Also Lily James was really charming!

Concerning Ed Sheeran I quite liked the self-irony (the ringtone!) but thought the movie was too much of an advertisement of Ed's new album... More Beatle songs!

I really liked the John scene, though! It was nice to include him, still being alive in his little house at the beach somewhere in the middle of nowhere. That he had the life he always wanted and got 78! Imagine! That made me really happy (and cry a little;)) I thought it would have been nice to know what Paul, George and Ringo would be up to and if they would still be friends (I am sure they would!).

I thought including Ringo and Paul somewhere would have been funny! Walking past in the background or standing at the bar at one of Jack's gigs,... I'd loved that! (anyway does anybody know why they haven't included them? Or didn't they want to be included?)

To keep it short I quite liked the movie and I would also watch it again! It is entertaining and without questioning backgrounds really enjoyable!
