Since moving to Hawkins in ‘84 Max’s world has been turned upside down. Literally. After battling interdimensional threats and good old fashioned bad guys she definitely knows her way around danger. But when her best friends is kidnapped and she’s forced to move and go into hiding the realisation hits her. She’ll never the be same.

Two time lab escapee and former Hawkins resident El Hopper, was kidnapped by Hawkins Laboratory after three years of leading a normal life.

She escaped a second time and now she's on the run from the government and Brenner. Nobody in Hawkins remembers her, they've all moved on.

Atleast she hopes so.
