👎🏻 Our Skyy2 - it’s a shame because except for The Eclipse and NLMG none of the episodes have been good. The ABAAB episodes have been surprisingly entertaining and they were better than the show itself but overall it’s obvious that this whole production was rushed and most of them did not put the required thought + effort into creating these stories; especially the MSP episodes had me shaking my head for so many reasons. Maybe the concept of 16 episodes for 8 couples in the span of 3 months was putting too much on their plates but it’s frustrating because it had a promising start. Hopefully this season marks the end of this project altogether.

❗️ GMMTV actors Phuwin T., Prom T. and Foei P. came under fire this month for problematic behavior - Phuwin was criticized for ableist slurs he said in a live 3 years ago, Prom made sexist and pedophile comments in a recent interview and Foei published an anti-LGBT post on Instagram. Moreover, Mark P., Mond T. and White N. were also criticized for defending Prom and his opinions. Phuwin, Prom and Mark have issued public apologies. 

❗️ Actors Yoon DoJin and DoWon were announced as the leads in the upcoming Korean BL Love Tractor. 

❗️ The 2016 Chinese LGBT drama Addicted Heroin will get a Thai adaption. Further info such as cast have not been announced.

15 Day BL Challenge

☆*:.｡. Day 2: Fave rookie actor pairing .｡.:*☆

I am going to work over the last ~ 13 months, because I have not been watching a lot of show so far this year, sadly, and nothing with rookies.

There are a lot of pairing with a rookie actor that I loved recently: Yutaro and Kondo Shori in Zenra Meshi, Do Won and Yoon Dojin in Love Tractor, or Lee Taevin and Cha Joowan in the beautiful Love for Love's Sake.

But after a very long deliberation, I think this one will go to Offroad and Daou in Love in Translation (even if Offroad had a main role before this one). I think they were both really good, managing emotional and comedic moments really well – especially Offroad who gave SO much heart to Phumjai – and they have good chemistry, they look comfortable with each other. I would give a chance to any other project they might have together in the future.

I will also bring up Bank and Earth from Destiny Seeker. Their show was pulp, not incredible but fun, but those two were really nice. They had great chemistry, I thought they did really well with what they were given, and I also liked them in their little two-episode thing in My Universe. I will keep an eye out for any future project they may have together.

I finally watched the first two episodes for Love Tractor and if I thought that the actor for Yechan was perfect before, now I think even more. He managed to capture the essence of the character so much. He is this giant golden retriever that has no idea of his size or even beauty and is always so nice to everyone. Yechan is a rural himbo and I stand for that.

And to think it’s Yoon DoJin first acting role is actually surprising, he is great!

Day 21: Show(s) That Make You Cry

I don't remember ever crying over a BL drama. Or weep. Or sobbing.

I probably have done it watching To My Star 2 (I mean I 100% testified that the whole show sole purpose is to make us cry), or Bad Buddy when they were about to run away from home or when they went back to their respective home "broke up". But it's not vivid, and I can't recall exactly. I've also made a tweet about crying when Taekyung said "If I'm not that courageous, I wouldn't be hurt" or something about that line. Still, I don't remember.

HOWEVER I remember that I let a tear drops while watching Love Tractor.

THAT Love Tractor. THAT drama with cute country boy and collected city boy.

Spoiler alert, there's a scene where Yechan picked up a melodica he bought for Seonyul and was tossed by Inseo, Seonyul's ex. Then he cried, saying to himself that he's nobody and I remember hugging my laptop and a tear dropped.

I guess it shows how Yoon Dojin served range. He can be the puppy that only wants to give his beloved haem lots of love, but he can also be mellow and cried because he thought he's no one. Especially compared to the ex.

If that scene has made me dropped a tear, the dramas mentioned above also should've witnessed me crying, logically. I probably forget about it.
