The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is planning on changing their regulations for telehealth prescriptions of controlled substances. However, they have opened comments up for people to voice their opinions. You can submit a formal anonymous comment HERE. The comment period ends on March 31st, 2023.
This is an important issue for those who are prescribed controlled substances (e.g., testosterone or ADHD medication) through telehealth, which means it can and will impact trans people on testosterone and a ton of others if this goes through.

Finally, Spencer had a weekend off, where there was no chance of a case coming in at the last minute. And it’s not like Y/n hated Spencer’s job, she knew he did a lot of good. But it was hard sometimes when they would go a few weeks without sleeping next to each other.
It was the perfect morning to their perfect day, they had just come from a local art exhibit pop-up/farmers market. It reminded Y/n of Notting Hill, of course from the movie but also from when she lived in London while studying abroad. But now the couple was off to the local bookstore, they had looked at the farmers market, but they were all travel books, the irony was not lost.
Them both loving books was what got them to the second date, their first being filled with a debate about ‘modern classics’ and what classifies them. A topic they both clearly had a lot of opinions on as it took up the whole date that they hadn’t asked all the first date questions, so they needed the second date.
Them both loving books was what got them to the second date, their first being filled with a debate about ‘modern classics’ and what classifies them. A topic they both clearly had a lot of opinions on as it took up the whole date that they hadn’t asked all the first date questions, so they needed the second date.
And though their taste in books were quite opposite, there was a small overlap that was home to Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, The Bell Jar, and many others. But that was Spencer’s main area, classics, Y/n only read the feminist classics.
So when they went to the bookshop, the two would split up until Spencer finished looking in his favourite sections, since he could read so much faster than the girl it took her about three times as long to look through the fiction section.
Spencer was making his way to her now, stopping to read the backs of a couple books that interested him, even picking one up to buy. He walked past the isles of the fiction and romance sections, finally coming to a halt at the ‘J’s where Y/n was now. She didn’t even register his presence, too wrapped up in reading the summary of the blue and yellow book in her hand.
Spencer didn’t want to startle the girl, so he walked past her, her eyes rising from the book in hand to look at who she thought was a random person just browsing the store like her, eyes lighting up when she sees it’s Spencer.
“Honey, what’d you find?” She questions, Spencer assumes it was a rhetorical question since she didn’t give him enough time before she cuts in grabbing the second book from the stack in his arms, “I was gonna suggest this one to you! A subscriber said it was really good!”
Y/n was a booktuber, when she told Spencer that he obviously had no idea what that was, but a simple explanation later and he was caught up. And after a year of dating, she finally mentioned him in a video when she was talking about ‘Normal People’ . It was one of the books they argued could be considered a modern classic on their first date. And she mentioned his taste in books and now her followers left recommendations for him in her
comments, mostly on instagram when she posted him from time to time.
“Yeah. I was really impressed with another book by this author, her description of the caste system in India and the impact it has mentally was so moving.” “I remember you reading that. I’m not good at reading those types of books, but I love when you tell me all about them.” Her soft words brought red to Spencer’s checks while he hid his hands around her waist.
Recovering from the girl’s flirting, even after a year he still reacted the same to her words, his head rose from the spot in her neck to look at the book she had been looking at when he found her.
“What did you find?” “Oh, I saw a girl say it was a good book in her review and I want to do a video on age gap books since so many people ask.” Pacing the books over to him when he signalled his hand forward for it, turning it over to read the front, ‘Part of Your Word’ by Abby Jimenez in large letters was written across the front. It wasn’t a fairly large book, it could take him maybe five minutes.
Y/n was now turned to read more titles, stopping at any that caught her eye. All the while, Spencer was stood of to the side reading. It had actually only taken the man four minutes when he checked his watch. Proud of himself, he looks up to see that his girlfriend was apparently watching him, for how long, he didn’t know.
With a smile on his face, he asks, “What?” “Spencer. Did you just read my book? Before I even bought it?” She replied with a hand going to her hip and a jokey tone. “Well, first of all, you aren’t buying it bec-” “Why was it bad?”
Y/n often spoke before thinking, causing her to cut off people, Spencer was used to it he thought it was cute and she always made it her mission to not interrupt when he was really passionate about a topic.
“Because, I’m buying.” “Hon, no you bought last time.” “I don’t mind.” “I do.”
Spencer moved on from this conversation, they both know how it will end. Spencer will in fact pay, Y/n will say he didn’t have to, Spencer would say he doesn’t mind, she’ll say she does mind, and they repeat it when they pay for lunch after the bookshop.
“But I did read it.” “Don’t spoil, but what did you think?” She had watched a couple booktok reviews on it so she knew it was a little spicy, something she knew Spencer didn’t read a lot of, if ever.
“I think it was good. I liked how they talked about family relationships and verbal abuse in relationships, I think it was done well and it brought a lot more sense of realism. And I liked the leads, I relate to Daniel more than I thought, his dedication to making things work.. I won’t spoil it for you but- um yeah. And I liked the setting.”
His words sent a loving smile to rest on the girl’s face, she loved nothing more than to hear Spencer talk. His voice was deep yet not at the same time, and his mannerisms were adorable to her. And hearing him actually read and enjoy a book from the romance section that was written in the last few decades, was a big step for him. He didn’t even know about Twilight when they met.
“I’m glad you like it.” She said, truthfully, “I’ll be sure to mention that in my video.” “You don’t have to.” “You just don’t want Penny to see the video and by extension Derek.”
Their conversation continued while they waited in line, holding each other's hand while Y/n looks up to speak. They were interrupted when it was then their turn, Spencer paying like he said he would, and again at lunch, much to the girl’s disapproval.
“You don’t have to pay.” “I don’t mind.” “I do.”

Lolita fashion: A guide for beginners and love letter to seasoned Lolitas (Fashion guide part ll)
Tumblr media
Hello everyone!! Few days ago I had made a guide for people interested and doing gyaru fashion (interested people please visit my account to read about it <3) moving on I was intrigued and ready to take on the world of Lolita fashion as well, I hope this guides helps newer people and makes other old followers of this amazing fashion culture realize that it is all about fun and feeling pretty. Some may agree with this and some may not either way I am posting this <3
(Kindly please stop sending d#ath threads regarding this post. Kindly also refrain from sending comments saying I deserve those threaths please 🙏🏼)
My guides start from here on. So as a lot of people know, this culture of fashion was started by taking inspirations from Rococco and Victorian era. Over the years this subculture of Japanese fashion has definitely evolved and this subculture has given birth to many sub styles like most famous being sweet Lolita, gothic Lolita and hime Lolita.
So now that you know the gist of this style let me educate you further that the reason Lolita fashion exists is purely just for fun. People especially women wanted to feel that elegance and olden time beauty and dressed up in Lolita just for fun!! So no. 1 rule of Lolita is to have fun. Enjoy what you wear and buy.
Yes, when you first begin it is necessary that you browse through the summary but make sure to ONLY browse through the history of Lolita fashion. Never pay too much attention towards rules of Lolita because again just like gyaru fashion it was and has always been foreigners who police others and are way too anal about rules when as a matter of fact the whole reason Lolita and gyaru existed was to have fun! Of course but only gyaru had a backstory of opposing with stereotypes of women in Japan.
I am here to tell you that I have lived in Japan during the hype of Lolita and gyaru (also being an avid follower of both fashion culture since the age of 4) and having talking with foreigners and locals I suggest you to only LIKE ONLY listen to locals because they truly know what's up. My guides are filled with my experience and what they have told me.
So let's talk about rules like lace and materials and shit. What I have been told and have been doing my life is that pick any lace design that you feel pretty in because in the end even back then Lolita fashion magazines and shows would only tell you what a typical Lolita would wear like poofy dress and small details like pretty wigs and such but people in streets be it Harajuku or Shibuya or etc etc didn't follow these rules themselves and they were covered in latest Lolita trends from head to toe.
The magazines and such only give you an idea of what you can do or typical image of a Lolita fashion follower. That doesn't mean you have to do exactly that. Things like "stop wearing that" "your lace is ugly" "wow you purchased dress from Amazon? Fuck you" "that dress quality sucks you are NOT a real Lolita" is all doing of foreigner Lolita fashion followers.
I am so sorry if you ever encountered any of these people but Lolita girlies in Japan will never harass you like this.
Plus buying stuff from Amazon is OKAY because even though these days there are many affordable Lolita dresses and accessories, it is okay to still look for options and I understand that some people don't have budget and just because you are tight on budget doesn't mean you should be left out. YOU ALSO DESERVE TO FEEL PRETTY! Amazon might not be authentic if that's what you can afford atm then go for it please, enjoy and have fun because you were to meet other Japanese Lolitas they will say things like "wow I didn't know these days Amazon sold such good quality Lolita dresses" never feel guilty for buying off brand.
What people don't tell you is that these days even brands break some of the rules from Lolita fashion and honestly if the household brands break them then you also shouldn't feel bad about messing up. I just want Lolita fashion culture to be welcoming and I don't want beginners to be afraid and I don't want old members to feel the need to be always classic authentic.
Even the queen and ambassador of foreign affairs kawaii aka president of Japan Lolita Association Misako Aiko who has been doing Lolita fashion for 25 years also mixes and matches from different fashion and breaks so called rules like poofy dress shape, owning few dresses with no laces, hair usually styled in a simple way, not always wearing a blouse or a head wear etc etc.
In conclusion if the president of Lolita fashion and household brands are breaking rules then you should also not feel guilty for few little things here and there. Aim of Lolita fashion is to feel pretty and have fun. You are the prettiest person alive, embrace it and have fun with this style. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Do what makes you happy and don't ever feel guilty about buying off brands because sometimes food, shelter and bills is important and that is understandable.
I love everyone of you. Hope my guides help you a lot <3

further guidance for newcomers coming from reddit
hi arriving redditors. here are some things i don't see most posts mention. this is for people who conquered the baby steps of joining the site. i think they're pretty important! also me clarifying on some stuff i've seen people word very vaguely consistently in their guides
under the cut because it's a chunky set of bullet points! with a few that also discuss how to keep yourself in a safe and fun browsing environment for yourself and others (mostly quality of life)
if you have any questions either send me an ask (anonymously is ok too) or reply to the post
you can enable a custom theme that shows on the web in your blog settings, if you so wish (blog settings > visibility) and then (custom theme toggle to on) this is the classic tumblr experience, but it's ok to want to hide your blog from the public. however you won't be able to link stuff on your blog to people without tumblr accounts
you can find custom tumblr themes by searching resource blogs like theme hunter or just in the tags in general (like "tumblr theme" or just "theme" and see where the other tags you may find to refine your search takes you)
tumblr is currently trying to enact changes to appeal to "new users" that make the website less friendly to its current inhabitants, such as fucking with quality of life and muscle memory and even stuff integral to the culture of the site. if you see people complaining, i highly advise against going "this sounds kind of nothingburger" and assisting in sending tickets to support the drive against such changes
there is a 250 post per day limit. you probably won't hit it though.. maybe? but people used to make post limit blogs (seperate email) for that. but that is for heavy usage users.
you can make as many sideblogs as you want. you are free to divulge whether or not it's you. of course use common sense to gauge whether or not it matters. but side blogs can be anything: maybe you want to categorize things, maybe you wanna make one into a huge fan page/blog for a specific hobby/celeb/show/game/etc, maybe a quieter space, maybe posts you feel don't belong on your blog, maybe even a blog where you reblog resources to exclusively. the possibilities are endless! (maybe not for porn, it's a little harder to skirt by these days even with muh community labels)
a lot of posts are incredibly vague about whether or not you can leave comments on reblogs. i think it truly depends. for example, if it's praise for artwork, i feel like it is truly best left in the tags. the artist can see it still! it shows up in their notifs when you reblog. in comparison, when it comes to funny text posts and pictures, you can comment as you like, but consider TPO (time place occasion). it helps to check the notes (comments only filter) to see if the quip or comment you wanna make has already been made or if OP made further comments later. again, it's a call to use your judgement and everyone has a different tolerance for this kind of thing
i see many people or perhaps most came from LGBTQ+ centric subreddits so i am surprised i'm not seeing this mentioned often: there are unfortunately a lot of terfs here. please stay safe. install shinigami eyes and engage in blocking sprees whenever possible.
in account settings, not blog settings, there is a section called "content you see". it has filtered tags and filtered post content. the difference is filtered tags is specifically for tags, for example, if you want to hide a certain show you don't like, you can have the site apply a peek-a-boo filter on it (this content contains #TAG, as in click to view). you ask, what if the person on my dash doesn't tag it as that? that's fine! it also takes into account the original poster's tags. the OP didn't tag it? then filtered post content might help. MIGHT. it's pretty helpful and unlike twitter's mute list, as far as my experience, it is not broken. for example, if you write [SHOW NAME THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE] in plain letters (with aliases as seperate entries just to be safe) it will filter any post that has the words in the body of the post. pretty useful! use this to curate your dash further or even filter out triggers.
speaking of tags. a lot of people are also vague about this. i'll say it clearly. you can add whatever tags you want to a reblog. there's no limit (aside from character lim per tag)! there's no social faux pas, unless you're being backhanded at someone's creative work, like reblogging just to dunk on it or going "i like the art but not the character" etc. when it comes to your own posts, try to avoid tagging irrelevant tags (for example, if you're making a lot of posts that are tangentially about cardcaptor sakura, think about if it belongs in the tag or not. think of it as whether or not it deserves an OC flair on reddit). again, people's tolerance differs, but especially on older media and slow tags people do not appreciate random tangential text posts (for example "i wanna watch ccs!" and nothing else)
in terms of culture, tumblr has a weird balance between "you can ask for context" and "lurk for 10,000 moar years". i would not know myself. i've been here for 12+ years *shrug* you'll have to gauge it for yourself. most things you can google "[tumblr user] callout" and figure out from there LOL (yes that's usually what happens). i DO encourage trying to garner it from context, especially for terms.
due to the looser moderation(?) on here, LGBTQ+ and other minorities use their own discretion reclaim slurs freely. join in, or put the slurs in your filters. it's fine not to join in as that's your personal comfort, but this is a heads up that the culture is like this since i'm not sure how the moderation is in places like r/196 are. (sorry i used reddit for entirely different things ><)
DO NOT TAG D0NATION POSTS WITH #D0NATION OR ANY OTHER VARIATION. this is SO important. it's best not to tag donation posts AT ALL. tumblr internally flags them and suppresses the post. just reblog silently (d0nate if you can) and move on (censoring just in case lol)
search is useless for finding specific posts. give up before you even try. your best bets are google, asking for help on the dashboard, or just hoping it shows up on your dashboard one day (it probs will, maybe not immediately when you need it though)
i called old tags "slow" but not dead earlier: tags Do Not Die (though some just kind of randomly get wiped or lose posts, idk, it is some post-2018 indexing weirdness) so you can find fanart and posts from 2012 and it's ok to reblog! the essence of tumblr is the continued circulation of people's creations
please do not repost screenshots of tumblr posts unless they are no longer accessible (reblogs locked for example) 😭 i am seeing this happen already. this is the one thing from reddit you're gonna have to let go of. twitter and other place screenshots are OK (probably, some people don't like them). but don't let your page look like one of those r/(etc) post aggregate bots on twitter is what i'm saying. once you explore a tag enough times you'll know what is usually appropriate to post (usually derivative meme templates are OK, but don't overdo it (tho this just falls under "dont spam") (also this is MY personal preference, so if the climate of the tag houses a lot of memes, go ahead!)
in general reposting content that isn't your's is kinda eh. especially reposting people's art without explicit permission. there are art reposters who in the modern day usually ask for permission, of course there are internet spelunkers who repost content from old web and dead sites. there's a lot of nuance, but i highly discourage reposting things you didn't make yourself unless it's stuff like official art and whatnot. photography and other stuff from other people, use your judgement. and as an aside i know "stolen memes" are r/196 and other meme subreddit cultures but it's not exactly appreciated here and i feel like if the reposting gets out of hand tumblr users might get real tired of it. the humor isn't really the same here in that sense, i suggest posting them in a sideblog that archives such things so they aren't lost and/or keeping them in your community tags. ofc no one can stop you!! but the whole highly derivative fried meme thing is very reddit. the culture could not be more different even if we are similar in many ways. i mean this in the nicest way possible >_< if you're not sure, DON'T REPOST.
this is just advice from me, but when liveblogging a show, it's nice to tag it with a unique tag, such as #[your name/nick] plays [game]. i find it's ok to tag series name to some posts that are more substantial, people are happy to see others enjoy what they love, but using a unique tag also helps people track YOUR liveblog since they may save the tag to look at :)
put your age or whether or not you're an adult somewhere where people can see, (and your pronouns too or lackthereof). whether or not if it's on your bio, or an about page, or a carrd. please. it's a matter of curation and safety. some people don't wanna follow minors by accident and vice versa, just as a means to curate their space
people write alt text and image descriptions in the post bodies pretty often. yes it's built into tumblr, but either some people forget or the feature... refuses to work that time. yes it's BROKEN. if you feel like you can contribute alt text for an image in an adequate fashion, go ahead!
try not to reblog people's personal posts. asking people never hurts!
you can restrict non-followers from replying to your posts, or turn off replies all together. as far as i know it's not possible for seperate posts unfortunately, just a blog-wide toggle. when replying to someone specifically, be sure to @ them so they can see it!
for a long time, only the first 5 tags you used in an original post mattered. a lot of people still repeat this, but in my experience this seems to have... changed?? i can't say for sure, but my posts appear in tags beyond the first five. just to be sure, tag the most relevant things first! (or not, if you have your own strategy LOL)
you're free to not tag trigger warnings (it's nice to do it for others tho especially if they ask) but please tag flashing images as such. #epilepsy warning, #flashing, #flashing image, #flashing, etc.
REPORT BOT BLOGS. it blocks them for you anyway. just blocking doesn't do anything for anyone
you can add other people to a sideblog to make it a group blog. this is how blogs with mods work, or even collectives, it has a lot of uses in general so have fun with it! be wary it requires getting someone's email so be safe about that and try to do it with people you trust.
this is advice from me since i noticed after publishing this post that a lot of reddit users don't tag things. you don't have to btw!! but my advice that brightens up the website: if you reblog cool art, writing, music or photography (taken by OP) and you like it a lot, i highly recommend leaving compliments in the tags. we live in an age where creative creation is increasingly unappreciated and people are quiet silent— creators get no feedback therefore no encouragememt to keep creating. this is more like a personal plea, but like to reblog ratios have become DIRE. people are apathetic and scared to interact with people's creations even though on here they are actively ecouraged to. if you like art or fic etc i even more highly recommend you reblog it. likes don't do anything! reblogs = more eyes on it. let's support each other's creative endeavors 🩷
don't fall for the trap of trying to make tumblr into reddit, or trying to recreate the feeling of a subreddit. it's not gonna work. try to adapt. it's easier said than done but lol. rome wasn't built in a day. operate your blog like your own space rather than trying to recreate a hub. the tolerance for trying to change tumblr culture is super low and a lot of people who are much meaner than me will probably try to bully the idea into the ground. and people DO get mean. (like playground namecalling, but people have no reservations about it, so it's stuff that would probably get you banned on reddit)
if your post gets traction and the note notifications annoy you, deleting the original post will make the notifs stop coming. a lot of people reblog the post to keep it on their blog then delete the original to effectively "mute" the notifications permanently.

Cousin Buckley: Part 3
Summary: You’re Robin’s cousin, and you’ve stolen the hearts of Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson 🖤💜
Part 1 Part 2
Warnings: none, just fluff!
Word count: 1201
A/N: I am having so much fun writing these, you guys! Thank you so much for all of the love, support, comments, reblogs, notes, follows, everything! It means so much, and I can’t wait to continue on with this series 🤗 I’m currently navigating the taglist, so I apologize for any problems!
Tumblr media
“Welcome to Family Video!”
Robin opened the doors dramatically as you three stepped in. The previous workers wordlessly exited, thankful their shifts were over.
“Don’t get your hopes up, Buckley,” said one worker, a tall thin boy with a zombie-like look, “we had like, two customers all day.”
“I know, Martin, I know,” she said energetically. “But I always make it work, don’t I?”
“You do,” Martin replied flatly. “That’s why I never do my shifts with you. I need to spend my misery in peace.”
“Alright, Martin, that’s enough for today,” Steve smiled, ushering him out then turning to you. “Want a tour?”
You nodded excitedly as he placed his arm gently around your shoulder.
“So, we’ve got the main desk here, as you can see,” he gestured with his other arm. “To the left are kids movies, romances, comedies, then adventure and fantasy stuff. To the right is the more intense stuff, like horror and thrillers and big action movies, like the Terminator.”
“Smart divisions,” you said. “Was that your idea?”
“He wishes,” Robin snorted from the counter, then looked at Steve, panicking a bit. “He did organize the snacks though!” She quickly pointed at the display of snacks below the counter and you smiled.
“You guys need Nerds,” you remarked.
“I’ll make a note of it,” Steve smiled. “Okay, I’ll leave you to browse. Robin and I thought it would be fun to have a movie marathon night, so you’ve got your pick! Choose like three or four, but my only request is that one of them is Real Genius. I’ve been wanting to watch it for a while, but I haven’t had the time.”
“Same here!” you replied, smiling brightly. “I’ll grab that one for sure, and I also want to look for The Last Starfighter. I hear it’s really good.”
“Grab Sixteen Candles! Or Nightmare on Elm Street!” Robin called out.
“That’s quite the range,” you chuckled. “I’ll grab both.”
“Everything except Elm Street should be to your left,” Steve said. “Call out if you need anything, okay?”
“Okay, thanks Steve,” you smiled.
He moved his arm away and jumped over the counter, joining Robin. As you started your browsing, you looked back at the counter to see Steve glancing up at you. As you caught his eye, he blushed, looking down and smiling widely. Robin smirked a bit, then shook her head.
After looking around for a while, you found all of the movies and brought them up to the counter. Martin was right; not many people had stopped in to pick up a video, but you guessed it made sense for a Tuesday afternoon.
“Okay, I found everything we need for tonight,” you told Steve, handing him the movies. “How much is it?”
“Oh, you’re not paying,” Steve said with a chuckle.
“I have to, I’m a customer!” you gasped, then leaned closer, making Steve lean too. “I can’t steal.”
“I know,” Steve mimicked your tone. “What I mean is that I will rent them.”
“Oh,” you said. “Are you sure?” you looked at him hesitantly.
“Positive. You’re a guest and besides, I have an employee discount,” he winked, then took the movies to the register.
“Ready to play?” Robin asked, holding the cards. You nodded and went over to join her.
“I thought I’d relieve you of Steve duty,” she smirked, shuffling the cards.
“I don’t mind,” you smiled, glancing over at Steve, who was helping a customer.
“Listen, I know you’re a lot nicer than I am, but I know for sure that Steve can get annoying. Eddie, too. So just let me know if you need a break.”
“I promise I’ll let you know, but I’ve honestly been enjoying them. They’re cute,” you smiled a bit brighter.
“Cute as in a puppy who’s lost and following you around or cute like you’d want to date one of them?”
“I don’t know,” you blushed. “I mean, neither of them are bad-looking, but I wasn’t really thinking about them that way. Why?”
Robin shrugged. “Just wondering. They’re good guys, you know, just in case you’re looking…”
“Oh, Robin, I just got here!” you laughed. “Besides, I barely know them.”
“But do you want to know them?”
“I think you want me to know them,” you chuckled. “Rob, do you know something I don’t?”
“Not if you look hard enough,” she smirked, then dealt the cards.
~~~
You all arrived back at Robin’s house, and as you were getting out, Eddie drove up in his van. He leapt out with a few grocery bags and pizza boxes in his hands. When he noticed you three, he smiled widely and held them up.
“Sustenance!” he shouted, making everyone laugh.
You helped Eddie place all the food out in the kitchen as Robin grabbed cups. Steve prepared the living room, grabbing some blankets and pillows and placing the movies on the entertainment center. He then came in to grab some food. You decided to skip using plates and just share the pizza boxes, but you put some chips into bowls and got some sodas. You all gathered into the living room and squished on to the couch. Eddie was on your left, Robin on your right, and Steve was next to her.
“Okay,” Eddie said as he opened the box. “We’ve got pepperoni in this top one. I think cheese is below, and then there’s a veggie one underneath. Who wants what?”
“Veggie please,” Robin called, and you passed it to her.
“Cheese,” Steve said.
“I like pepperoni,” you smiled.
“Me too, we can share,” Eddie smiled back, placing the box between you two.
“I’m going to put the first movie in,” Steve said, getting up. “Any votes?”
“Real Genius!” Robin yelled, and you and Eddie nodded in agreement.
“So,” Eddie turned to you. “How’s your first day back in Hawkins been?”
“It’s been great!” you smiled. “I can’t believe I’ve only been here since today though, it’s been a busy day. A good kind of busy, though.”
“Don’t feel pressure to stay up for all of these, Y/N,” Robin said. “I forgot you just got here.”
“Thanks, Rob! If I fall asleep, no one draw on me, please,” you chuckled.
~~~
You successfully made it through Real Genius, laughing non-stop with everyone else. You went for Sixteen Candles next. You eventually got cold, so you used one of the blankets Steve brought out. You looked hesitantly at Eddie.
“Hey, um, do you mind if I lean on you please?” you asked, blushing. You were so tired, you could barely keep yourself propped up.
“Oh, no, I don’t mind, go ahead!” Eddie fumbled with his words a bit as he smiled, holding his arm out for you. You carefully scooted to his side, and once settled, he placed his arm on your back. The warmth felt comforting.
“If you get cold, feel free to steal some blanket,” you said, extending it to him. He accepted and laid it across his lap.
“Thanks, Y/N.” His smile made his eyes gleam.
Resting on Eddie made you feel so relaxed. Feeling his slow breathing slowed yours down too, and you felt yourself drift softly to sleep in his arms.
To be continued…

Whuff, folks, this is a really really long one!! I hope you enjoy it - it kicked my butt and had to be re-written after I got 3k words in and got bogged down with backstory.
(For reference, if this were a commission, at 12k words it'd be £120. You can read it now for $5/£4.50! You can also read all my back catalogue of Patreon stories too when you sign up. Browse my masterlist for free though here.)
Orcs came out pretty high on the 'favourite monsters' poll over on Patreon, so I went with two, and a satyr because I like sassy satyrs...
Content: arranged marriage, strained parental relationship for the reader, gender and body neutral reader, childhood friends to lovers, some light D/s play, culturally accepted polyamory, consensual polyamory, penetrative sex, oral sex, a plug, and a lot of fluff because it's me. Wordcount: 12k (!)
Final note: a 'scop' is the Old English/Anglo-Saxon word for a bard. I gave the reader's people Rohirrim/Anglo-Saxon vibes for this.
Tumblr media
“You’re giving me deja-vu summoning me over to you like that, mother,” you said with a wry drawl in your voice as you sauntered over to one of the two wooden thrones at the far end of the longhouse at her request, and warily eyed the sheaf of paper held casually between her first two fingers. “Last time you looked at me like that, I was twelve and I ended up fostered with the Mountain Clan for six years. Where are you planning on sending me this time?”
You'd meant it for a joke, but the look in her eyes immediately kindled a churning worry in the pit of your stomach when you spotted it, and your expression fell.
“Mother?”
“It wasn’t so bad in the end, was it?” she said archly, one eyebrow rising. “You still write to the warchief’s son on a monthly basis like a lovesick minstrel, though I’m honestly surprised those beasts can fathom out the alphabet.”
Actually, most orcs knew two alphabets: the Trade Tongue, and their own runic language.
This barbed back-and-forth with the Lady of the Hold was nothing new for you though as her often-overlooked, middle child of three, and you took it in your stride, though the insult to Vorstag’s people cut deep. In your time fostering with them, you’d come to love the orcs for their passion and overt love of life — to love one in particular — but no matter how fondly you talked of your time with them, your own people didn’t seem able to get past the orcs’ belligerent reputation or the myriad stereotypes perpetuated about them in the cities, where there were far fewer of them.
Ignoring your mother’s comment about your continuing contact with your adoptive clan, you came to a halt in front of her and stood there, one hip cocked to the side, idly tapping your wooden flute against your thigh. You’d been practising in one of the shadowy corners of the longhouse until she’d called you over to join her. Her eyes flickered to it momentarily before returning to your face, and she sighed.
The Lady of the Hold was an intimidating woman and it was hard to affect calm in front of her, even with your stage-training as a musician and a scop from Widsith before you’d left to live with the orcs. Now, regarding you from her throne, your mother wore clothes of rich silk and fine wool befitting a queen, with thick fur trimmings around her neck, and her ears and throat and hands dripped with glinting gold jewellery bought and paid for by the fine war horses your people bred and raised for the royal stables and noble houses. Even if her attire hadn’t matched that of a queen, her hard glare would have made any monarch quaver. Many people whispered that while the jarl and his wife technically ruled together, it was your mother who truly governed the territory.
She certainly still governed your life well into adulthood.
“I have here a proposal from the Plains Clan…” she said, indicating the paper held at arm’s length between her first two fingers, like it was a spell that might go off any second.
“Oh?” You tried to look casual, but something about it made you uneasy. Her answer to the Plains Clan’s proposal would concern you in some way, you had no doubt. Not least because you spoke orcish like one born into an orcish clan, and you had connections to the Mountain Clan, who were on good terms with their plains neighbours.
Just the thought of those connections made your heart ache: memories of the orc who had made your teenage years in the mountains a dream instead of the nightmare it might have been; who had grown into adulthood with you in lockstep to become your best friend; who had given you your first, exhilarating ride on a warg; who had shared your first kiss at the Winter’s Heart feast, and more besides when you were both older.
“Mn,” she hummed, standing regally and pacing back and forth on the wooden dais in the way she did when she had a problem that was yet unresolved. That did nothing to settle you, but you waited her out. “They have proposed something which I never thought they would to a human: marriage.”
“To you?” you blurted in surprise. “But they know humans don’t mate with more than one other — not formally, at least,” you amended since you knew of at least three people in the settlement who were very happily in a relationship with each other, though they weren’t married in the eyes of the Faith. Not that the Faith had much reach out here, so far from its seat in the royal capital.
“No, not to me, you fool,” she scoffed, irritated at your assumption and, no doubt, at your casual use of the orcish term ‘mate’ instead of marriage. “To one of my children, and since you are the only one unmarried and unpromised, it will have to be you.”
“Married? Me?”

Writers & Readers
My thoughts. I've been thinking about this relationship a lot lately and I wanted to summarize it in one post, which I hope will open some people up more and try to better understand what writers are dealing with.
You come up with a story, write it down, read it, wonder if it makes sense, remove repetitions and errors, read it again, create moodboards and headlines, publish and wait.
When I posted the first chapter of my story here, I didn't know how hashtags worked yet and I made many mistakes, my writing style, punctuation and syntax also left much to be desired. On the first day, my first chapter got 12 notes and one comment and I was shocked because someone read it! It inspired me so much that I wrote the second chapter the same day.
With each chapter, more and more people read my stories, I squealed with joy when one part received more than 100 notes, considering it a gigantic success (I still think so).
However, the more notes I had, the more successful my stories were, the more people reblogged my chapters, the more people began to appear who sent me unpleasant anonymous messages, usually calling them constructive criticism. There were some, but most of them were malicious remarks about the hero/heroine not acting as someone would like or that my approach was wrong, ending with insulting me and intruding into my private life.
I've noticed a pattern that other writers can probably confirm - these are often messages from other writers. Those who cannot cross a certain line, those who feel aggrieved that others support each other and reblog, but not him/her.
Except I was in the same place. I just earned it. I have improved my way of writing, my stories are better thought out, my readers have looked at my chapters themselves and decided that they want to follow my stories, for which I am grateful.
I'm tired of people who want easy solutions, I'm tired of people who hide behind anonymous messages - but - when you turn them off, they don't dare to write similar things in private. If they are so sure of what they say and that they are right and I am stupid, where are they now?
While browsing the wall, I come across and start reading stories that I don't like and then I stop halfway through and continue reading other posts. But I would never dare to write to such an author that I don't like his/her story.
I wouldn't dare tell him/her: these are my good tips, you better follow them if you want to succeed. No! It's rude, upsetting and unnecessary.
Never give unsolicited advice unless someone asks for it.
I am begging you, give the writers whose stories you love your support, your comments, hearts, reblogs, private messages or even asks, let them feel from time to time that you are with them, that they are doing a good job, that every day you are waiting for a new chapter of theirs history. Nothing is more inspiring.
Of course, we write for ourselves and our satisfaction, but it is your comments that comfort us, make us laugh, and give us the feeling that what we do is good.

Bestfriend headcanons for Nick Sturniolo💜
Tumblr media
a/n; Hihi! First time writing for Nick :))👍 might be off, but these are just what I imagine so enjoyyy :> and I know for a FACT that there are so many words Ive spelled wrong in this one, but Im too lazy to proof read it :)
Nick Sturniolo x reader (platonic)
warnings: none?
summary: headcanons of what I imagine being bestfriends with Nick Sturniolo would be like!
SORRY FOR ANY SPELLING MISTAKES❕
————————————————————————
I firmly belive that Nick would never jugde you if you’re close friends, he might not always agree on certain topics, but he would never jugde you
And that is also why you guys have such a close bond, you guys are able to tell eachother everything, wether it’s realationships, concerns, drama, something that’s recently been going on, anything, doesnt matter, you guys tell eachother
I just know he would take your concerns very seriously, he would always be there and listen to you rant to him about anything and nothing
And he would have no problem telling people off if they were out of line.
It had been a pretty stressful week and on top of that some of your "friends" had been acting so wierd. You guys hadnt hung out in a while, and you guys had decided to meet up since you had some openings in your schedual. But when you guys had hung out they had just been somewhat rude to you the whole time and made snarky comments. About the way you spoke or what you said.
You brushed it off in the start, but it just carried on and it honestly hurt. You just decided to stay quiet for the rest of the evening and left after you guys had grabbed some food.
You had just gotten home to your apartment, when you got a notification from your phone. It was a Snapchat notification, from a group.
You had been added in a groupchat with those same "friends" you had hung out with. There was one long message from them telling you they thought you had been acting wierd the whole evening. They stated that they thought it was rude that you werent talking much and left so quietly. They meant that you had changed.
You didnt really understand why they said that, where was all of this coming from? You hd been nothing but nice, despoter their comments and behaviour. You just sighed deeply and didnt bother to respond. All you wanted to do was shower and done off on the couch for the night.
You we’re able to take a shower before the doorbell rang. Getting dressed fairly quick, you went and opened the door. You we’re met with concerned Nick, now feiles written in his face.
I can definetly imagine Nick calling you or FaceTiming you whenever he needs to rant about shit that just annoys him
I was sat at my desk, browsing through random stuff on my laptop.I was in my own little bubble, listening to some slow songs and just mindlessly scrolling. That was until a loud ring startled me and brought me out of my daze.
It was a FaceTime call from Nick and I could see his face on screen. I pauses the music and answered the call.
"Hey-" I was cut short.
"Holy fuck!" Nick was basically screaming through the phone.
I was taken a back by his loud voice.
"Whats up?" I asked concerned seeing how bothered he sounded.
"Chris has been a fucking idiot all night." he let out a huff as he layed down on his bed. I just laughed a little.
"What’s he done now?" I gave Nick a questioning look.
"Oh boy if you knew, kids spilled my whole fucking Snapple in the car" I could clearly hear the annoyance in Nicks voice. I just giggled a little imagining how that scene wouldve looked like.
"And he’s jumping around like a damn monkey! He jumped back ONTO me!" He raider his voice again. I burst out laughing at that point and Nick ended up letting out a few giggles as well.
"Hellooo? Isnt that crazy?" He asked still giggling lightly.
"Sounds like Chris to me" I smiled back.
From there the conversation just went on, Nick rambled some more about Chris' shananigans in the car before we started talking about everything else that came to mind.
I also imagine that Nick would need help figuring out what to wear, and sometimes you would too
Like before going out, you guys just sit on the bed while the other one tries on different outfits and get the others opinion on it
(UFHSKDNDN i just need to use this opertunity to say that Nick is SO FUCKING PRETTY!! He looks so gorgeous I dont even know where to start)
Nick had invited me to go out for dinner with him, Chris, Matt and a few of their other friends.
And as usual I had stopped by their apartment so me and Nick could help eachother find the right outfit for the night. I had brought with me a few different outfits and clothes I was thinking about wearing, but I still couldnt really figure it out.
I had chatted with the three of them in the kitchen for a while before me and Nick made out way to his bedroom to get ready.
We had spendt some time trying to find the right outfit for Nick, and we finally found it. We ended up with him wearing his red and black knitted sweater, black parachute pants, his black chunky shoes and a pair of black glasses as an accesorie.
We spendt a good while figuring out what I would wear, all the outfits I tried either seemed somewhat off or like something was missing.
"No, it looks kind of odd?"
"Yeah, I dont know about this one"
"Absolutely not"
I tried on dresses, skrits, tops, shorts, fishnets, and I tired mutiple different outfits, but nothing felt right.
"The pants made it kind of wierd"
"Ouuhh.. yeah no-.."
"I think I’m loosing my mind, what the hell is this?"
I rubbed my eyes and sighed. I went back into the bathroom and tried on my last outfit. I looked myself in the mirror and smiled. I actually really liked it, but I needed to see what Nick thought of it. So I opened the door and stepped into his room. Nick looked up from his phone and smiled at me.
"Uhh yeah! Defiently, you look good girl!"
I smiled at his compliment.
"Thanks"
We both finished getting ready, we chilled downstairs with Matt and Chris before we all headed out for the evening.
————————————————————————
Im too lazy to write more :)👍
Regardless of that though, hope you had a good night or day and youre worth so much💕💕

Do you think people in twst can tell apart Leech brothers only by their hair and this eye shape thing for players executively?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m pretty certain that the twins’ eyes are like that in-universe, not just “for the benefit of the player”. It’s one of their distinguishing physical traits. The twins are always depicted like that across all forms of TWST media, even if it’s not an interactive medium (as in, the “player” themselves is not present) like the game (ie in trailers, in the manga, etc).
For as much as other characters comment that Jade and Floyd “have the same face”, that comment feels more like the initial reaction others have upon seeing them for the first time rather than “they look exactly alike to me” after actually knowing them for a while. When Yuu and co. see the twins for the first time in episode 1, Grim remarks about their faces being the same (and it carries over to episode 3 when the twins play significantly bigger roles). In Endless Halloween Night, Riddle also mentions that when he didn’t know Jade that well, it was difficult for him to tell Floyd and Jade apart. I would liken this to when you see someone at a first glance, you’ll notice the big picture before you begin to take in the details (think of a camera zooming in) rather than focusing on one detail before pulling out to reveal the big picture.
The direction of the hair stripe is but one visual indicator of the differences between the twins. Floyd’s stripe curls in from his right, and Jade’s curls in from his left (which forms a “J”, something he tells Riddle as a hint to remember him). Their earrings are also on the same side as their black hair stripes.
There have been a number of other references to the differences in how the twins physically present themselves, such as when Floyd complains about Jade having to do his bowtie for him, but Floyd eventually always undoing it anyway. This pertains to Floyd’s more lax and sloppy way of dressing, whereas Jade is neat and dresses more conservative. Floyd has also demonstrated more of an interest in fashion, as he’s always browsing footwear and expresses that he wants to dress in a style that is unique to himself (since merpeople don’t usually wear clothes).
In terms of the eyes, Jade’s unique magic incantation (shown in episode 4) specifically has him mentioning to “look into [his] left eye”--the golden one. Floyd’s golden eye is the one on his right, though his unique magic does not involve eye contact at all.
I don’t believe there are many lines which reference their eye shape other than in vague terms, like saying that Jade “looks calm” or something. The closest thing we get to a remark on eye shape is when Eliza (in Ghost Marriage) described Floyd as “[having] kind eyes” while describing Jade as “[having] a pleasant smile”. It could be that Eliza is talking about the feeling behind those eyes rather than the shape, but I’m inclined to believe she’s talking about the shape because 1) the slanted downward eyes Floyd has are known as a cute or a moe trait in Japanese media and 2) I don’t think Eliza would judge that Floyd’s character is kind just because of how he looks; she has used mainly physical descriptors when talking about the other boys (ie Leona is “wild” and has “.
Since Eliza used different traits for each of the twins, it implies that she notices different standout traits about them, so it’s also likely that Jade and Floyd’s eye shapes are notable or distinctive in some way in-universe. It’s just not something that’s often remarked on because (I assume) it’s not really relevant or as noticeable unless you’re intently or regularly staring at them (and given their scary reputation, why would you??). Like... I assume that we also don’t regularly comment on other people’s eye shapes irl, so why would the characters comment on it in-universe unless it was specifically for something fashion or maybe vision related???? There’s no reason for it to really come up.

A damn long post of asks and replies
Tumblr media
Thank you! I'm glad it's something people want to read again! :3
Tumblr media
You're welcome! I hope you enjoy the comics even though the characters are a bit different from my fanart :'D
Tumblr media
Hell ye! I'd be happy to read and share it when it's out there! :) I'm glad I could provide inspiration!
Tumblr media
Haha thank you! It's been interesting to see so many people share and enjoy my fanart even though they have no idea what they're about :D As a creator it brings me lots of joy.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank you!
Heh, I was thinking here that Dream's kinda mindlesslly fiddling with Hob's shirt collar and when Hob asks if he should remove it Dream takes a second to compose his answer because sure, he wouldn't mind the shirt coming off but he also doesn't want to seem too eager about that.
Tumblr media
I think the flowers are a neat way to show when someone is smitten. I felt like small hearts wouldn't be quite Hob so I drew small flowers instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh gosh, thank you very much! I'm glad so many people liked the idea if Dream not wanna undress.
Tumblr media
Haha, thank you! Violet and purple are my favorite colors and I usually pick that when I start an illustration (I always sketch with a colored brush), and my art often ends up being purple. But it's also a very dream-like color (heh) so it fits well for The Sandman fanart :3
I actually struggled a bit with the long comic to make the colors cohesive so I just slapped a layer of purple with a color mode on every page and that sort of did the trick :''D Sometimes all it takes is to play around with the layer blend modes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank you so much! (p...please don't die, I take no responsibility;;)
Tumblr media
Thank you!
I don't do commisions, unfortunately. Not at the moment, at least.
Tumblr media
Sure! Cat pics are always welcome!
Tumblr media
cat!Dream has very Miette energy tbf!
Tumblr media
Yay, thank you so much!!
Tumblr media
Thank you, I'm glad to hear that! And hey, take your time. Webcomics can be a lot, and when mine's like 1000 pages lmao..... yeah. You don't have to start from the beginning, if you remember approximately where you left, just hop on chapter x from the archive and browse on a little bit. If you made it to Book 2 already, I think the beginning of it is a good place to hop on again. But things come and go in waves, the same is with enjoying webcomics or any media really. Don't feel bad, focus on what brings you joy in this moment.
Tumblr media
Haha, well I'm not gonna stop you ;D I'm glad you're enjoying it!! <3
Tumblr media
Maybe? Maybe not?? who knows.
Tumblr media
When I started Transfusions it was fun to have a vampire who's kinda fresh, still, because vampires are always like 300 years old or whatever in every other media. Plus I'm not a history nerd so I can't be bothered to be historically accurate and have people nag about how I got this and that wrong from period x. Looking back to 1960-1980 is relatively easy lol. And a punk vampire is funny.
Tumblr media
Thank you very much, I'm always glad to hear people finding and enjoying The Witch Door. I've kinda felt like struggling to find it it's audience since it's not BL and I worry if my brain is big enough to write this kind of a story. So comments like these are very reassuring and encouraging! Danke schön! :) (my back is doing better, thought it still gets achy if I sit for too long. Just gotta try to remember to exercise OTL)

Tumblr media Tumblr media
When you met Bucky, he wasn’t a very talkative person. He had been in the army for two years, but during his last mission he found himself trapped in a house fire. Steve, Sam and Natasha managed to save his life, but the left part of his body was burned. But the worst was his mind: his nights were filled with nightmares. The days were no better : too many sounds, too much light, too much everything.
Following this trauma, he had to have regular appointments with a therapist. As it was difficult to go out, the therapist agreed to come to Bucky's small apartment. The first few months, Bucky barely talked. One or two words or not at all. Eventually, he started to talk more about how he felt even if it was still really hard for him. A year later, it was less difficult for him to go out. Sports helped him, reading too. He also started to browse garage sales and collect vintage furniture : staying at home made him realise he never focused more on what he was interested in. But he soon discovered he loved things from the past.
Finally, he decided to move. His apartment was too small for him. It represented a bad year and he needed to leave, to have something bigger and focus on his future : becoming a professor. As Bucky loved vintage and retro style, he eventually settled for an old house, not far from the city but isolated enough, and decided to decorate it in those styles he loved.
Steve offered him his old phonograph and some furniture he inherited from his mother. Bucky found a few things in garage sales, but it wasn’t enough and he headed for an antique shop. That’s where he met you.
When he entered your shop, he felt like he was entering a place from another time. You were on the phone - probably with a client - and the device you were using was a rotary phone from the 1930s. You were wearing a beautiful dress that fitted the theme of your shop, and your smile was brighter than the sun.
He didn’t hear you talking to him as he was way to focus on an old clock that reminded him of the one his grandmother had. His sister Rebecca and he spent some of their holidays with her. When he couldn’t sleep, he always referred to its sound to know what time it was.
Unfortunately, his grandmother passed away years ago and they had to sell it to pay for her funeral. His father had abandoned them, and his mother had three different jobs so that he and Rebecca wouldn’t lack anything.
“Sir?”he finally heard a voice. Turning his head, he saw you near him, a smile still on your face.
“Sorry, I… I wasn’t really there,” he apologised, but you didn’t seem annoyed. On the contrary, you laughed lightly“Don’t worry, I can understand. This furniture is incredible. They contain a lot of memories, and sometimes - and I think it’s your case - they bring back people we miss, they remind us of our past.”
“You have a really special way of talking about all this.” Bucky told you, admiration in his voice. He knew he could hear you talk all day about your shop, about you, about anything.
He noticed that you blushed “I just love old things. They’re splendid and have something I can’t find in contemporary furniture. Anyway, I should talk less and let you look around, see if you find more treasures. If you need me, I’ll be at my desk.”
“Actually…” Fuck. What could he say? He didn’t want you to leave, your presence was so comforting. “Do… do you… can…” fuck. Fuck. Fuck. What was wrong with him? “Sorry, looks like I’m at a loss for words when I’m around a beautiful woman.” He slapped himself mentally.
You blushed and avoided his gaze. You wanted to say thank you, or at least tell him that he was really handsome, that he was as special as the antique furniture in your shop, but you were never good with compliments.
“So, huh, can I help you with something?” you tried to change the subject.
Fuck, Buchanan. Now she thinks you’re weird and embarrassing. He probably ruined all his chances to ask you out. In his defence, he hadn’t dated for a while.
“Yeah, huh… I’d like to know the price for this clock, and if you have phones like the one you were using when I came in. I bought a new house and I’m redecorating,” he explained, doing his best to make you feel more comfortable and forget about the awkward situation.
However, you didn’t think he was weird. You were just too shy and wasn’ t used to someone flirting with you. Especially a man who seemed to love old things as much as you did.
“Well, the clock is $1500. Do you want it?”
“Yes please. I’ll just have to message a friend to help me carry it.” Steve had a truck large enough to transport the clock and any other furniture Bucky bought. Money wasn’t a problem for him because he inherited from his uncle a year ago.
“No problem. I’ll just hang a tag to indicate it’s sold, just in case another customer walks in and is also interested in your new clock. About the phone”, you continued after adding the tag, “I have three models left.”
On a shelf near the back of the store were three old rotary phones.
“From left to right you have the 50AL candlestick at $400. This desk set was the first free-standing dial telephone and was introduced in 1919. The model 202 at $300, introduced in 1930, and can be identified by its oval base. Finally, the model A1 at $100. In 1927, Western Electric produced its first model to use a handset, making it easier for the subscriber to use the telephone while keeping a hand free for taking notes or performing other tasks.”
Bucky was really impressed by your knowledge and was ready to buy the whole store to hear you explain every story of every object.
“I think I’m gonna take the 202. I wish I could take the candlestick too, but I have a lot of other things to buy.”
“I can understand”, you said as you were taking the phone he chose to put it in a beautiful box. You then lead him to your desk. “That will be $1800, please.”
Bucky just needed to pay. Steve would be there any minute now that he sent the message.
“I’m really lucky I have found your shop.” He hesitated, then said : “I’m James by the way.”
You stopped your movements, took a deep breath and Bucky really thought you were going to ask him to leave and never come back. But you just looked at him and your eyes were like gems to him.
“I… I’m Y/N. I’m glad you found some treasures here.”
Bucky wanted to ask for your number, but Steve decided to arrive at this exact moment and they had to leave now because he was double parked. So he waved at you, making you smile. He spent the rest of the day thinking about you, installing the clock in his hallway, and his new phone. He tried to do the latter as fast as possible for one reason : when he opened the box to unpack the phone, he found a card with a phone number and a note :
And he didn’t wait until the next day to hear your voice again.
I hope you will call me with you new phone
~Y/N
After that, you saw each other very often and after a few months, you started dating. You went together on garage sales to find antiquities for your shop, and to help Bucky set up his house. He shared his desire to become a history professor and you encouraged him and helped him.
After two years together and when he obtained his diploma, Bucky asked you to move in with him. You accepted without hesitation.
Now you were together for four years.
You were in the library part of the house, reading a book you just bought, when Bucky arrived wearing his fucking glasses, a boxer and a long vest, a newspaper in his hand.
Fuck, you thought, he is so hot. And it made you wet already.
“Good morning, Sir.”
“I love when you call me like that, sunshine.”
“Well, you’re dressed in a way, I could get on my knees for you.”
“Oh, you’re gonna be on your knees. But first, I want you naked on my lap while reading the newspaper.”
He wanted to play, and you were wetter just thinking about it. Bucky sat on the couch and looked at you with.
“Don’t make me wait, sunshine. Or I’ll have to punish you.”
You slowly removed your dress, your eyes never leaving his, and asked : “Is that supposed to make me go faster?”
“I sometimes forget that you love it when I spank you”, he said while taking your hands to put you on his lap. For you, it wasn’t really fair to be the only one naked, so you tried to remove his vest. Unfortunately for you, Bucky wanted to make you wait.
Without any warning, he put a finger inside and removed it instantly, making you moan then whine at the loss.
“Try again to undress me before I finish reading, and I edge you until tonight.”
You didn’t want that… at least not today. It was always worth it when he edged you for hours, but at the moment, you weren’t patient.
“Can I at least kiss your neck ?”
“Yes my sunshine.”
You kissed him softly on his neck, sometimes playing with his hair. What made you smile was that you noticed he was struggling to focus on his reading : his neck was a sensitive part, you knew it and continued your soft kisses, biting this spot that made him weak.
However, Bucky had a little surprise for you and your pussy. You soon felt something against your clit and inside you. It wasn’t Bucky, and it was vibrating. And damn, it felt so good.
“Fuck… Jamie…”, you moaned.
“Sunshine, I can feel you dripping. You’re so wet, and that makes me so hard”, he whispered in your ear.” “Now, be a good girl and get down on your knees to suck me.”
Once you were in position, Bucky lifted your chin up and told you with a grin : “And sunshine? Don’t let the toy fall.”
You slowly took him in your mouth, squeezing your legs to keep the vibrator inside you. And it was a hard thing to do considering how wet you were. Bucky was moaning and whispering your name as you took him all in. The feeling of your mouth and tongue around his cock was sending him to heaven. But he knew it was nothing compared to your tight pussy.
What was he reading again?
“James…, he heard you moan, “gonna cum…”
Oh, no, he thought, you were not. Not on this toy. He really wanted to play but he wanted you to milk his cock, to cum around him. In a second, the toy was on the floor and Bucky inside you.
“Fuck, sunshine… you’re so tight.”
Just a few thrusts and you were coming. But it didn’t stop Bucky. He continued pounding your pussy relentlessly.
“James… fuck… so good… but can’t…”, that’s all the words you mangaged to say. Bucky didn’t stop. He wanted you. He needed you. You were his, and he was marking you. Gripping your hips, kissing you, leaving hickeys wherever his mouth stopped, sucking your nipples. It was hard to talk or even think with how your man made you feel.
“You can give me another one, sunshine. Just one more orgasm. I know you can, you will. It won’t be your first time having multiple orgasms, thanks to me.”
You were so close now, and Bucky too. You could feel it.
“Come inside James. Please.”
He didn’t need more to paint your insides white while you were cumming again around his cock. None of you moved. Your head was on Bucky’s neck and one of his hands was in your hair, the other on your lower back. You were both panting, but feeling great.
“That was so good, Jamie.”
“Did you love the toy?”
“Very much, Mr Barnes. You can use it whenever you want.”
“Don’t tempt me”, he chuckled.
“I wondered”, you started saying while looking into his blue eyes, “do you prefer having sex in the morning or in the evening?”
“Every hour if possible. So I hope you’re ready for the day.”
You moved your hips, making him moan, his cock hardening again.
“I’m ready right now, Professor Barnes.”

Hi! Do you think Sarah will be starting a new series after she wraps up CC? Since it was mentioned (I think in ACOSF) that there may be 25 alternate worlds and we only know of 3. I feel like I’m one of the few who’s actually excited about the crossover, haha.
But I really hope she’ll release ACOTAR 5 and 6 back to back.
After CC, I think SJM will pick back up with the ACOTAR series, releasing 5/6 back to back and this is why:
We know she's currently working on the next ACOTAR book but SJM has never made a formal announcement on IG or her website and there has not been a formal announcement made by Bloomsbury claiming that in order for us to understand the next ACOTAR book, you should begin reading the CC series.
She mentioned reading ACOTAR before CC3 as an offhand comment in a paid interview but it came across as more of a "why wouldn't you want to read acotar now that you met those characters in CC, I think you should!?" rather than a "you definitely need to read the ACOTAR series to understand. The release of CC3 is months away. Had reading ACOTAR truly been a requirement, she wouldn't have left people three months to finish 4.5 books before purchasing the next CC.
There's many of us in the fandom. However, there are just as many people who simply browse their E-Reader book selections or walk through a bookstore and pick up books that way. The fandom is large but I'm not sure we make up the majority percentage of her book sales (maybe someone has a way of figuring that out?). Even if we do though, there is still a good number of people who have never looked at SJM's website or the FB fangroups or Twitter / Tumblr / Tik Tok, etc. Some people have no interest in putting in the effort to do anything more than enjoy a book, put it down and move on to the next. They don't go wild like we do for any and all information and really just read books based off their Amazon recommendations or the NY Times Bestseller list.
If we try and forget what we know of the fandom and act like we're an ACOTAR only reader because Urban Fantasy isn't a preferred genre (I know someone personally who hasn't read CC), the crossover doesn't exist in our world. Bryce doesn't exist. Our SJM reading experience ended with SF and we're anxiously awaiting the next ACOTAR book having no clue what she said in an interview that we didn't pay to watch.
For readers like that, can SJM truly pick up the next ACOTAR book after Bryce's arrival? Can it start with the characters talking about what they learned in CC3?
That would make zero sense to anyone who finished Nesta's story wondering what's going on with Tamlin, Koschei, the other queens, Beron, etc. There are definitely crumbs in SF hinting at the possibility of other worlds, the hints that people may have once been trapped in the Stone, but I think it's jumping a bit to much to start off ACOTAR 5 talking about a modern fae female who had entered Prythian through a portal they didn't know existed and swapped history's with, things that occurred off page in a series they never read.
Therefore, if (as we in the fandom know) the crossover will eventually affect future ACOTAR books, SJM has to build up to the events of the crossover within the ACOTAR series itself. Whatever we learn in CC3 has to also be presented as new information for the reader in ACOTAR 5/6. Because again, ACOTAR readers who buy books at bookstores alone are going to be clueless that an outerspace traveler from a different series landed in the NC and clueless as to whatever secrets were revealed in CC.
Reading all the series will create a more complete picture however, it's impossible for that to be a requirement for the next ACOTAR book since it's never been marketed as such. From a publishing standpoint, if SJM has written three different series, the series do still need to stand on their own and any information from a crossover that occurred in series #3 that's important to the future of series #2 will have to be delivered independently in series #2, without having to know what happened in series #3. Starting ACOTAR 5 with the characters having knowledge of Bryce's visit just doesn't work without causing massive confusion to a large portion of readers and it's not cohesive to where things ended in SF.
To smoothly integrate everything I imagine she'll start the next one, picking up shortly after the events of SF and use the next two books to buildup to what happened in the crossover and possibly the events that follow after, leading in to whatever connected plot the two share.
After that, I do think SJM will be writing another CC book (since she signed that new 4 book deal) dealing with House of Many Waters as well as another ACOTAR book(s) where she builds to a major battle in Prythian that involves characters from Midgard (and possible TOG) entering portals and joining together to fight the remaining Asteri.
I'm not sure I see her starting a new series yet, I think there are too many stories she's still looking to tell with the characters from her current ones.

Fan/Reviwer Appreciation Post: Mention one or more fan(s)/reviewer(s) who brighten your day. We all know that all reviewers are special, but I'm talking about the ones who make you grin, giggle, and get thrilled when you read their review because it's so comprehensive, and you look forward to it every time. It simply motivates you to keep writing because they appreciate it so much.
Gosh, I am so lucky because I have some fantastic readers who review every single chapter. Even if it’s just a “nice” or a “great chapter” or whatever. I love those reviewers so much because I get it. I’m a shit reviewer too. I never know what to say but I always leave a little something so you know I’m there and loving it.
I have to shout out @bellmel because, while you don’t get to see her reviews, she sends me some great reviews in her edit email. She adds little emojis to the document which I love and she highlights parts she loves.
Another shout out to @funbunnypotter26 because she legit gives me live commentary of her reactions on discord. I cannot tell you how much she makes me laugh because I will anxiously await certain parts for her to get to. Then she spoils me by also giving short reviews that you all can see.
The MVP award has to go to @ravenclawrockchick because, uhh, have you seen her novel of a review she sends me each and every chapter?!? One day AO3 is going to come at her and say she left too many comments on a single story and kick her out. She makes me laugh. Special mention to Cookie the cat because she legit reads her stories to her cat. She purrs when Sirius’s POV happens so, you know, she’s my favorite cat for that.
Special shout outs to @corneliaavenue-ao3 (you always make me smile and laugh at your reviews), @curse-04 (your attention to detail is fantastic!), @myrtle_warren (I don’t know why it won’t let me tag you but I know you’re here, your reviews always being a smile on my face), @enigmaticemperor (your reviews always seem to inspire me), @prewettpotter (you always make me smile with your reviews), @anagpotter (you’ve been around since day one and I just adore you), @hinny17 (you are so kind), @gryffindorhealer (for always being around to answer my medical questions and being so kind), and so many more!!
I know I’m missing more! I went to the last chapter to browse through the reviews and I know there are people missing who normally review as well. There’s so many of you that are just amazing and I’m not sure if you all of you have tumblrs that I missed because there were definitely more shout outs.
Thank you all!!

Someone:
Tumblr media
In the period 2012-2014 many artists I knew stopped updating their galleries. There are various reasons why they left the site I guess (none of them gives specific explanations why). They switched to Tumblr, then to Twitter and Instagram. One artist wrote after years since he was really active on DA: 'life takes you from one site to another', 'being on DA takes you back'.
Here's the 2010 DA :)
Tumblr media
My attention was attracted by one artwork. Almost 3000 comments in 5 years? Just one of the examples.
Tumblr media
That's what I noticed browsing DA. People really left much more comments before. And this applies not only to that kind of digital art as in the screenshot but also those artworks that are simpler. I can give more accurate ratios and comparisons, but this is not the point.
Very sad that people lost interest in DA and they came. Because it was the best site for art of any type. You know, it's a pleasure to read journals of my favorite artists now, their descriptions to almost every drawing, sometimes it's a whole story like 'how I spent the day' :D
P.S.
Tumblr media
After so many years. Priceless

“Give us back our horny”
Submitted by @officialfist
I expected legal challenges, you want them actually because they can be used to shore up the defenses as they say. Close the gaps that may have been left on accident. _______________________
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Free Speech Coalition is just one of many taking aim at a Louisiana law that went into effect last year.
It requires age verification for certain websites that consists of at least 30% adult content, like porn. The law’s intent is to keep minors off these sights, as the material continues to intensify on an annual basis.
“We’re not opposed at all to efforts to limit minors from accessing adult material, it’s called adult material for a reason. But the problem we have with these laws are they’re not only unconstitutional but they’re ineffective and dangerous,” said Director of Public Affairs for the group, Mike Stabile.
Stabile says the law’s vagueness makes it difficult for websites to abide by the standard to which the law holds them. Adding the 30% threshold these sites are held to is not specific enough on the type of content it’s referring to.
“We don’t know how that’s calculated. Is it the number of posts, the number of pages, the volume of data...I think what you see in this law and the other copycat laws you see in other states is that they’re the product of magical thinking,” Stabile added.
Stabile says instead of trying to legislate how sites should verify age and requiring citizens to subject themselves to potentially having their personal information and web browsing history exposed, the state should take the approach of a device-level filter.
“Fewer than 20% of parents include any type of filter on their kids’ devices. And what the supreme court has said in case after case is that so long as those filters exist, as long as a less restrictive method that doesn’t endanger people’s privacy that doesn’t limit their access to first amendment protected speech exists, these government filters and mandates are unconstitutional,” Stabile explained.
The lawmaker behind this, state Rep. Laurie Schlegel defended her bill in messages to us Tuesday by saying the law was thoroughly crafted and does not infringe on anyone’s rights. She also managed to pass another law this year allowing the Attorney General to fine adult sites up to $5000 for every day they fail to comply with state law.
“This is a law that is going to cost Louisiana taxpayers half a million dollars or more to defend. And at the end of the day, the Supreme Court has ruled on this many times. The government does not have a right to unreasonably limit access to otherwise legally protected first amendment speech,” Stabile continued.
The Attorney General’s office says their office is reviewing the filing and withheld any further comment. ______________________
30% eh, reddit and twitter might be in trouble here too then.
Adult content, that is kinda vague. I'd argue the IRS website is adult content, but well see how this goes for them.
