You shouldn't feel bad for not keeping up with your hobbies.

Doing something just for the sake of consistency is... a game you will never win. Constantly telling yourself you're a quitter, a failure, not worthy, because at some point you lost interest in doing something that you once enjoyed, is just going to make you miserable. If you feel like you need to dedicate time to making art, writing, reading, playing an instrument (etc.), then you are not pursuing a hobby. You're working for a non-paid job that you have assigned yourself. Which will make you even more miserable since you are doing something you don't feel like doing.

I know this need for consistency might come from a place where you feel like you need to be consistent otherwise you are labeled by yourself as "ungrateful" or "lazy". This pattern though is not going to make you happy, ever.

If you are going to read a book just once, then be it. If later in your life you want to re-open that book and finish it, then do it.

It's called 'free time' because you should feel 'free' to do things without feeling judged, even by yourself.

One day Franky said "Existing is not a crime". And I want to send this message to everyone who think they don't deserve to live and to be loved, who hurt themselves bc their mind is just fucked up. In one week, I saw 3 people with scars that I know too much what they mean. I want to send love, a lot of love, at these beautiful souls, I know they are, and I hope they'll find peace and happiness.

The life can be so cruel, but that doesn't mean you deserve the pain you actually have. That doesn't mean you deserve the crime you suffer. Because you existence is not a crime. No matter what they tell you, your existence is not a crime. Life is a bitch to the most beautiful souls of the world. So I hope one day you, you suffer, you hate yourself, you bullied, you think you are alone, you gonna find that place and that mind who offer you the happiness and the peace you deserve. There is treasure in the world who's waiting for you to be discovered and pampered.

Our Taylor, the chairwoman of the Tortured Poets Department, has shared her playlists of the five stages of grief.

I have seen Tiktok's and Tumblr posts of shock that Lover is on the Denial playlist.

The fact that I see shock about this and watch my friends in denial about love, I want to remind you of a few things. (I may have not been in love myself but watching my mom/dad + 8 siblings (combined) in successful marriages I feel a responsibility to share..)

Your lover will never leave you alone when you are achieving your dreams. Never. Even if they aren't comfortable. (reference: My mom found her dream job. It payed 2x what my dad was making. He moved with her (7 provinces away mind you) so she could achieve her dream. Your partner will support you.)

Your partner will tell you when you are wrong. In Private ofc, my dad/mom will fight my moms/dads battles (my aunts and uncles do the same thing) and when they get home they will talk sense into each other to ensure that they understand they were in the wrong and explain for them to apologize or wait for an apology.

Your partner will love you for both your talents and your faults. I don't know how many times I have had to explain that a relationship isn't always 50/50, sometimes it's 80/20, 60/40, 90/10.

You will support your partner and they will support you to the ends of time, that's when you know.

TLDR: If your partner and you want to make it work, you will. It may be tough, it may be the hardest thing you ever experience, but if your partner doesn't support your success and failures, they aren't your forever.

As my parent's always say: "Love is a two-way street, if your partner won't walk as far as you are able to, they aren't in it for the long run."

Your love will be there for 50/50, 60/40, 90/10. Don't settle for someone who takes you for granted. You will find your Grey/Avery, don't settle for someone who won't support you the same way you do for them.
