idk what to say, I want kill code and his sons to fill me up with eggs. here it is *shrug*
words under the cut
When you opened your eyes after going through the portal, you found yourself in a throne room, but not one belonging to any Lord you knew of.
From your left, a familiar rasping voice croons, “Weclome, traveler. I haven’t seen a human in these lands for quite a while.”
There was only one person with that soft, slow, dark voice. Turning, you saw Kill Code as he’d appeared in Moon’s mind, huge and gangly, fingers long as daggers and strange feet. He had just emerged from an archway and sat on the throne, lounging to the side and leaning his head on his hand, “You recognize me and my voice, so I assume you know who I am already.”
“Kill Code,” you answer, wary but hopeful. The one in your world was kind and gentle.
“Yes, my dear, though I am a king, here.” He chuckles softly and looks at you through hooded scarlet eyes, “I know the basics of portal travel, though I’d say yours isn’t magic based if it appeared in the heart of my castle like this. I have barriers for that.”
“No. Science made this. If that word has meaning here.” Maybe it didn’t. You remember the word hadn’t really existed until somewhere after the medieval era and this looked to be that sort of castle.
“Mmm, it does, but it isn’t quite a force in this world. Magic is plentiful and widely used, so there was no need for such studies,” he smiled indulgently and motioned with a finger for you to come closer, “my sons’ appetites have driven most humans from our lands, but I want to talk with you further. Come here, my dear, so I can better shield you from them once they catch your scent.”
Knowing exactly which of his ‘children’ he was talking about, you rush to his side and are pulled to sit on his lap, surprised to find him as warm as a human would be. “There, now they won’t be able to touch you unless they behave properly.”
He starts carding his fingers through your hair, causing your body to break out in goosebumps and shudder on reflex.
Soon enough, Blood Moon runs in, a small scarf around their neck spattered with so much old blood that it looks burgundy. “Father, where…oh.” That was the voice you called Scarlet.
“My sons, a traveler from another world has arrived. As you can see, I am keeping them.” Kill Code gave them a very wicked grin and you began to wonder if you were actually safe. “If you behave, I might allow you to spend supervised time with them.”
To your shock, Blood Moon split into two, and the voice you called Crimson came from the twin on the right, “We will behave well, father, but we want to see them up close. May we approach?” He tilted his head to your left and grinned menacingly.
“Just to the base of the throne, then.” You clung to the end of Kill code’s hat as the twins approached, only now seeing the silver rings all over Kill Code’s hand, encrusted in various jewels.
Scarlet purred as he looked you over with those red pentagram eyes, “Father, they’re very soft looking. It makes my teeth itch.”
“Mine too,” Crimson gave a soft but scary laugh, “But mostly because they also look quite fine as a mate.”
Your whole face flushed pink as you realized those hungry looks on their faces weren’t just for your blood.
“I think the prophecy has been fulfilled, actually, so I agree with you whole heartedly.” Kill Code’s hand was still playing with your hair, but you couldn’t look at him as you felt yourself getting flustered.
“Wh-what prophecy?” you manage to stammer and Crimson explains.
“At the start of Father’s reign, he communed with the universe and it told him,” Crimson and Scarlet looked at each other and grinned, “that one day, someone meant to bear the heirs of his line would arrive from beyond. We were already born, along with our elder brother, so….”
Scarlet jumped in, shaking his fists eagerly up and down, “So that means we all get a mate and that mate is you!”
“What’s all this racket about?” came the irritated voice you recognized as coming from Eclipse. He came out of another doorway behind the twins and saw you, looking confused. “Why are you two getting worked up over a human?”
“My son, heir to my throne, this is the destined mate we were promised,” Kill Code pulled you closer, letting you feel that this version of him was…surprisingly organic, since you could feel his pulse on the back of your head. It was a little faster than you’d have thought but your own was matching it so maybe it wasn’t.
“Oh?” Eclipse’s dark orange and black face gave a smirk that sent a bolt of something straight to your heart and he sauntered up with a fluttering black cape around his shoulders. Unlike the twins, when he came up to the throne, he didn’t stop, his elegant hands using one finger to tilt your chin up. “Huh, I was expecting some kind of goddess but…I think I can get behind this idea.”
Those golden eyes made a throb go through your pelvic region, and he seemed to notice as he gave a chuckle, “Oh yes, this one will do nicely.”
“Blood Moon?” Kill Code asked softly, and the salivating animatronics looked up, “Why don’t you fuse and allow us to supervise your consummation?”
“Wh-what?” You began to squirm and Kill Code shushed you softly.
“I can feel how warm you little body is, dear,” He uses a long claw to stroke your cheek as Eclipse was very delicately removing your clothes, “But if you are actually opposed, we can wait. But you seem familiar with us from your own world so…what say you?”
A few seconds of your brain scrambling with if this was actually okay or not, you swallow and stammer, “o-okay.”
Eclipse gave your cheek a soft kiss and cooed, “Good job. We’ll make you feel exactly like the treasure you’re going to be.”
“just relax,” Kill Code purred, spreading your now bare legs as the refused Blood Moon crawled up to the throne, “I will keep you safe. But first…” He pressed a hand to your lower stomach and said something in a language you couldn’t understand. It felt like something warm dropped through your body and left behind an emptiness. “There, now you should be ready to accept our eggs.”
“EGGS?!”
Eclipse tilted his head and smiled a bit in amusement, “I’m guessing that’s not a thing in your world. Yes, we make eggs and implant them in some lucky recipient.”
“only a few attach properly,” Kill code continues to explain as Blood Moon’s begun grinding into you and leaving deeper bites, “But the rest are there to cushion the baby and act as food once they’re born.”
“But with all of us contributing…” Eclipse was still playing with your hair and leaving little kisses on your hand and arms, “you might be having quite a few at once.”
Blood Moon whines and Crimson starts to murmur to you while he drops his pants and lets his tendril-like appendage curl into your wet heat, “Our mate, so sweet tasting and warm, going to fill you up so good.”
Their tendril slid into your body in swift motions, shooting forward like a snake over dunes, deeper than anything you’d ever felt. Kill Code held you in place and Eclipse spoke softly to you as Blood Moon grunted and moaned in both voices, panting and thrusting while you whine.
Your current lover’s claws are digging into your sides, but the prickling pain is washed away by the heat in your nethers and the sound of Eclipse’s voice.
“My, you are a tender thing, aren’t you?” He coos as the twins are ramming you, “Just a bit longer and we’ll all see how you can take eggs. But you already look so lovely spread out for us.”
Kill Code was purring, and you could feel his own tendril against your back, but about that time Blood Moon choked and you felt several small orbs slide up your tunnel and settle deep inside. You wonder briefly if Kill Code’s spell (that’s what it was, right?) had opened your cervix or something, but another wave of eggs causing an orgasm shakes your brain to bits.
Blood Moon catches their breath, and Scarlet gives you some kisses to your lips as he talks, “Full of our seeds, little mate. Must rest now, be good for father and brother eclipse.” Pulling back, they flop onto some pillows at the side of the throne, almost as if that’s their usual place, and Eclipse comes to the front.
“Now, let’s see if I can’t get you to be a bit more vocal,” Eclipse’s expression was almost scary, a bit crazed, but when his warm, golden orange tendril slid home inside you, your brain went back to being whited out in pleasure.
As he rocked in and out, Eclipse wouldn’t stop chattering, gloating and snarling. “If you’re going to be MY mate, you’re going to have to understand that I won’t settle for anything. So you’re going to wear the finest of everything, get the finest of everything, and probably get this treatment every night for a good while.” But as he spoke, his words kept getting more and more separated by groans and panting breaths, hands on your shoulders and staring into your soul through your eyes, “And you’re mine. Don’t forget that, even when you’re, mn, you’re out and about, or in another world, or whatever, you’re MINE.”
You hit another high as he growled out the last word, making him shudder and slam home as he began to fill you with his own eggs. They feel slightly bigger than the twins’ were, and you can feel your stomach push out as they take up more space. He lingers a bit afterward, catching his breath, but his exhausted face makes you reach out and touch his cheek gently. He doesn’t smile, but he leans into the touch and you smile for him.
“Now, dear, I believe it is my turn,” Kill Code gently reminded all present, and Eclipse backed away, sprawling on another throne that you hadn’t noticed, set back from the one you were in. You could only see him now because Kill Code had turned you around to face inward, and shucked his pants while doing so. Long black and writhing, his tendril slithered over your puffy stomach as he seemed to drink you in, “ We’ll ensure you are healthy and happy, my dear, and want for nothing. Now, I believe it is time to give my beloved sons some more siblings.”
Lifting you up, a bit of red and orange fluids dripping out of your open core, he coiled his appendage into you inch by inch, stretching you more than ever before and making you pant at it before he ever moved, “Oh darling, you’re so delightfully tight even after the boys had their turns. Just stay with me for a moment, love and we’ll be able to get you to a nice room to recover.”
Having excellent control of his body, Kill Code coiled and uncoiled himself within you, barely moving his hips to stimulate you in untold ways. You give a weak orgasm, unable to squeeze down much, and Kill Code purrs like a motor before warning you, “Here they come, dear.”
Grunting and squeezing his eyes shut, he uncoiled himself and wriggled himself as deep as he could get, then released. Your stomach feels like its stretched tight, and looking down, it is. There’s a solid lump that makes you look pregnant already and when the eggs stop coming it’s quite uncomfortable.
Kill Code gives a sigh and gently rubs his spindly hands over your belly and murmurs, “You did very well, love. I know the stretch is a bit much, but it will settle in a few days. Now, I’ll pull out and your body will close up on its own. It will then work as a normal human pregnancy would. You’ll be very much taken care of in all ways by the four of us, and there’s no need fret about pain. Magic is a wonderful tool for such things.”
Overwhelmed and warm and so incredibly full, you just nod and let him lift you into his arms in a bridal carry. “Boys, come with us.”
You’re taken to a sumptuous bedroom with magical lights in the sconces, laid on a massive bed, and Kill Code nuzzles you before retreating and allowing Eclipse and Blood Moon to cage you in on either side, cuddling close.
“I have duties I must attend to, but I trust them to care for you in the mean time. Rest, beloved, and we will all discuss things further another time.”
Sleep is the only thing you can really imagine doing right now, and as his massive shadow leaves, you close your eyes while Blood Moon purrs happily and rubs your stomach, and Eclipse nuzzles his forehead to yours, murmuring softly of the grand things he’ll do for you.

Timestamp #291: It Takes You Away
Doctor Who: It Takes You Away (1 episode, s11e09, 2018)
Ribbit… or is it tibbir?
The TARDIS lands in a Nordic forest. The companions enjoy the views while the Doctor confirms the time and place by tasting the grass, then everyone jumps when the Doctor spots a sheep. She determines that they are in 2018, leaving 193 years before the great Woolly Rebellion, an event that forced a renegotiation of the entire human-sheep relationship on Earth.
Weird.
The team sets their sights on a distant cabin, and the Doctor wonders why there’s no evidence of smoke from the chimney despite it being the middle of winter. The cabin is boarded up but Ryan catches a bit of movement through the window. The Doctor uses her sonic screwdriver to unlock the three locks on the front door and the team investigates. Ryan finds a girl hiding in the upstairs wardrobe, but she refuses to move when the Doctor asks. Once Graham offers up his emergency sandwich(!), the girl joins the team in the kitchen.
The girl’s name is Hanne and she’s afraid of the thing from which her father was defending the house. She can’t explain what the thing looks like because she’s blind, but she knows that her father disappeared four days ago. She asks the Doctor for help.
Ryan’s not great with kids, but Yaz immediately bonds with Hanne over a t-shirt for the Arctic Monkeys band. Hanne knows that her father didn’t simply leave her because the boat is still tied up nearby. Hanne gets nervous when her watch beeps, signaling the daily hunting time for the beast. As Yaz and Ryan scout around, they find animal traps and hear a loud roar. The team convenes outside but can’t find a beast to accompany the roar, so the Doctor orders everyone to secure the house.
Upstairs, Graham sees a mirror that doesn’t reflect his image. Ryan wonders if they are vampires before the mirror bleeds strange energy and the Doctor arrives. The mirror changes to normal for a moment before shifting again, but the Doctor is able to lock it in phase and take a look inside. The mirror is a portal to another dimension, and the Doctor decides to take another look but wants to leave Ryan behind to look after Hanne. She writes “Assume her dad is dead. Keep her safe. Find out who else can take care of her.” on the wall, telling Hanne that it’s a map of the house for Ryan’s benefit. Then the Doctor, Graham, and Yaz enter the mirror in search of Hanne’s father, Erik.
What lies beyond is a foggy and narrow cave. After leaving a trail of string to find their way home, they follow a light to a strange being named Ribbons. Ribbons offers his lantern in exchange for the sonic screwdriver (which looks pretty), and the Doctor promises payment upon delivery if Ribbons can show them the way to Erik.
As they progress, the team is introduced to killer flesh moths which Ribbons lures away with dead rats. He then cuts the thread while the team is distracted and betrays the team. As flesh moths descend, Ribbons mentions that this place is an anti-zone, a buffer that appears wherever the fabric of spacetime is threatened. The flesh moths extinguish the lantern and Ribbons tries to run after snatching the sonic screwdriver, but Graham stops him. The Doctor warns the team to stand still, but Ribbons tries to grab the sonic and is consumed by the moths. While the moths are busy, the team runs to a nearby portal and escapes, but they’re on the other side of the mirror.
Back in normal space, Hanne calls Ryan’s bluff about the map. Hanne is upset about Ryan’s attitude, but they team up when the roars come closer.  Ryan finds a wire and follows it to a speaker, discovering that the roars are a recording. Ryan runs back to tell Hanne, but she knocks him out and goes through the mirror. When he comes to, Ryan pursues.
In the mirror world, the team finds a beautiful and tidy cabin. They also find Erik, wearing a Slayer t-shirt with a backward logo, and a revelation: The monster is a recording. Erik tried to keep Hanne safe while he was gone because Trine (Hanne’s mother) is in the mirror zone. Or rather, her mirror universe version exists here, but cannot travel through the mirror. The team is also introduced to another traveler.
Grace is here.
Both of the women have memories of their lives before death. Graham tells Grace all about his adventures with the Doctor, but he’s unsure if he can trust Grace until she explains her passion for frogs. Meanwhile, the Doctor tells Yaz about the Solitract, a story that her fifth grandmother shared when the Doctor was a child. It existed at the start of the universe along with all of the other elements, but it couldn’t exist in the universe so it was exiled to another plane so it could exist naturally. The Solitract isn’t malevolent. It’s just lonely. But because of its nature, nothing from this universe cannot enter N-Space.
Graham and Erik have to choose between life here with their loved ones or their real lives in the normal universe.
As this detail is made clear, Ryan and Hanne navigate the anti-zone. Ryan sends Hanne ahead while he distracts the flesh moths. Hanne is overjoyed to find Erik but is not convinced that Trine is her mother. The world around them is falling apart since it is full of incompatible N-Space energy, but the Solitract wants to keep them as a cure for its loneliness. When the travelers reject the Solitract, they are knocked back into the anti-zone, and the Doctor offers herself in exchange for the others. She will stay behind since she’s seen the universe that the Solitract misses. The Solitract rejects Erik to save its universe.
Then the mirror universe goes white.
When it resolves again, the Doctor is faced with a skeleton of the cabin’s attic and a frog sitting on a chair. It speaks to the Doctor in Grace’s voice, taking an avatar that once delighted Grace. The Doctor begins to vibrate as the universe continues to destabilize, and the Doctor makes the case that the Solitract cannot survive if it holds on to what it cannot have. The Doctor tells the Solitract that they will remain friends even in her absence, and the Solitract sends her back into the anti-zone.
Everyone runs back to N-Space as the anti-zone collapses. The Doctor seals the portal behind them as the survivors come to terms with their losses. Erik and Hanne plan to move back to Oslo and start again, and Hanne is proud of her father for coming to terms with Trine’s death. Ryan and Graham talk about how Grace would react to this adventure, and Ryan finally calls him granddad. Together, they join their TARDIS family and set course for a new time and space.
I’m going to avoid a Calgon joke.
This is a beautiful story without a true villain. Instead, the Solitract is lonely, and to make connections, it offers companionship to those who grieve. Erik and Graham both get to heal a bit from their grief, and they extend this to their dependents. Graham specifically makes a deeper connection with Ryan through their shared trauma.
Now, I understand the Solitract taking a frog’s form in honor of Grace, but I think it would have had a better impact if it had taken a form that would tempt the Doctor to stay. Sure, the Doctor is tempted by this Time Lord fairy tale, but the whole point of the Solitract’s game was to bait companions with someone they miss. The perfect avatar would have been Susan, extending some goodwill with the return of Carole Ann Ford.
After all, “one day, I will come back”… yet the Doctor never really has on television, have they?  Instead, we get another fast ending and more questions about things we’ll likely never see again.
The casting was great with Eleanor Wallwork, the first blind actor in Doctor Who to play a blind character. That degree of authenticity was wonderful, as was the general low-budget horror atmosphere of this kinda spooky tale.
Rating: 4/5 – “Would you care for a jelly baby?”
UP NEXT – Doctor Who: The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos

c!Dream and the rules
(/dsmp /rp, all names refer to characters, not content creators)
I think one of the most striking parts of Exile is something that I rarely see talked about, and it’s Dream’s rules. Or rather, how his rules were made to be used as justification to hurt Tommy.
The thing about exile is that, outside of the initial rule of “Don’t go back to L’Manburg”, Dream never told Tommy the rules, yet constantly operated under the assumption that Tommy already knew them, and had accepted them. The rules also changed constantly, without Tommy ever being notified until he was already in trouble.
The second time Dream told Tommy to put his armor in the hole, he didn’t tell Tommy to do that right away. Instead, the conversation went like this (slightly edited to remove stammering and unrelated dialogue).
Dream: Do you have, uh… something you wanna put on the floor here? Tommy: Yes. (drops two pieces of red concrete as Dream digs a hole) Dre-eam! You’re evil. You’re evil. Dream: Anything else, Tommy? Tommy: Nope! Dream: Oh c’mon, I know there’s something else you wanna drop down here. Tommy: (panicking slightly) No, there… (messages BBH “take this and run”, throws him the disc BBH had gifted him earlier) Um… I don’t reckon there is! (pause) Dream: Okay, are you suuuure? Tommy: YES. Dream: Alright… How ‘bout your armor, Tommy? Tommy: Well, no, this is- I actually earned this myself. Dream: I know you did! Tommy: Leave me alone. Dream: Just drop it in the hole, Tommy. Tommy: Wh- no, NO, you can’t just come and demand things from me! I’ve been exiled, I’ve done your shit, what do you mean?! Dream: (sing-song) Tommy… Tommy: What? (Dream hits Tommy with his axe, taking over half his health) Tommy: (screams, drops his armor) OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY!
The only rule Tommy was aware of at this time was that he wasn’t allowed to go back to L’Manburg. Dream had taken his armor the night before, but there was no indication that he expected Tommy to do this constantly. Taking his armor upon initially arriving at Logstedshire made some kind of sense, allowing Tommy to keep it would run the risk of him trying to fight his way back into L’Manburg. Taking his new, very shitty armor (seriously it was an iron chestplate and a pair of golden leggings he got from a ruined portal chest) made no sense at all, so the fact that Tommy was confused and refused to cooperate at first isn’t unexpected in the slightest.
And the thing is… Dream was aware of this fact. Throughout the conversation, he never really sounded annoyed, and was actively teasing Tommy at times. This isn’t a good thing btw, it’s a sign that he was fully aware that Tommy didn’t know what he wanted from him, and that that would create a situation where Dream could “put him in his place” as it were.
If you’re a parent, and your kid does something that’s not allowed, without knowing it’s not allowed, you don’t start off with a beating. You sit them down, calmly explain the rules to them and explain why those rules are there, then send them on their way with the knowledge that they shouldn't do it again.
This interaction wasn’t an instance of Tommy acting out and Dream correcting him. This interaction was a trap. Dream set Tommy up to fail by not telling him the rules beforehand, and when Tommy offered even the slightest bit of resistance and asked why he needed to drop his armor, Dream jumped straight to beating him. It’s a powerplay, plain and simple.
This is demonstrated again with the destruction of Logstedshire. Dream got pissed that Tommy disobeyed him by having hidden chests with gear under his house, and retaliated by destroying everything Tommy had built, destroying every item he’d collected, killing his pet and only foodsource, barring him from the Nether, banning everyone except himself from visiting, and telling him to start over from scratch after a whole lecture about how Tommy betrayed him.
Again, I wanna point out some specific lines from this lecture that illustrate my point very well.
Dream: You were lying to me! You were lying to me. Tommy: No- Why was I lying?! Dream: What do you mean, why were you lying?! Tommy: I wasn’t hi- I wasn’t- Dream: You hid things in a chest knowing they were things I wouldn’t want you to have! And you hid it in a way that way I would never find it!
Except Tommy didn’t know that. The contents of the stash were all items that Tommy had obtained previously without any issue (diamonds, emeralds, iron, ender pearls, some pickaxes, and some purely sentimental items like flowers, a jukebox, and pictures of Tubbo and L’Manburg). In fact, the vast majority of them came from Tommy’s aboveground storage, which Dream had full access to, and had looked through before!
Dream also never said Tommy wasn’t allowed to hide stuff, and there was nothing to suggest he didn’t want Tommy to keep secrets from him.
There’s been a theory floating around for a while that Dream knew about Tommy’s item stash beforehand, since it was a very strange place to dig a hole (like, right in front of the house in the center of Logstedshire itself, instead of out in the plains where the TNT wouldn’t damage any structures), and Tommy had previously forgotten to cover up the entrance ladder. While Dream hadn’t looked inside the house, he would’ve definitely heard Tommy place the block back.
If this theory is correct, then this was yet another trap. Dream knew Tommy had a hidden room, and instead of just saying “hey, I don’t want you to have a hidden stash, go put this back and fill in the room” (which would’ve still been bullshit btw), he went COMPLETELY ballistic, destroyed EVERYTHING Tommy had, and while doing it, kept admonishing Tommy for betraying him, said shit like “I thought we were friends”, and even accused him of preparing to attack Dream. Again, a powerplay.
Hell, even the exile conflict itself is this! Tommy was exiled for griefing the king’s property while being a high-ranking official in L’Manburg. Except Fundy, the then-president’s son, CONSTANTLY griefed Eret’s shit after the L’Manburg war, ranging from ripping down one of their towers to “shrink” it, filling another tower with water, and multiple elaborate plots to steal the throne from under their nose. But apparently, between all of that shit and the exile-conflict, the rules were silently changed, meaning Dream could exile Tommy for breaking a couple blocks and placing some rude signs in George’s house. Even the punishment itself was changed without warning, as Tommy went from being exiled from L’Manburg to exiled from “everywhere that’s ever been touched.”
...I was originally gonna make a different point here. I may put it in the reblogs, because I still think it’s very interesting. But, in the middle of writing this essay I had to stop because it was late, then I spent the entire next day packing up because I’m in the middle of a move. It's now the next evening, I'm sat in my new room, on my camping bed, I opened this doc because I pretty much forgot what I typed, I reread it, and then I realized… This isn’t an isolated series of events. This is a pattern for Dream.
Before Tommy first joined the server, there were only three set rules: no stealing, no griefing, and no killing people. Except by that point, those rules weren’t enforced at all. In fact, Dream broke all three at once at one point, by killing George and burning his diamond armor because he didn’t feel it was fair that George got to run around in full diamond when everyone else still had iron.
Tommy joined the server, and broke the rules like everyone else. He stole shit, broke shit, killed George for funsies… and he got exiled for it. Seriously, they dumped him in an empty snowfield for breaking rules that nobody had enforced for weeks. So technically, the Exile-arc isn’t even the first time something like this has happened to him!
During the events that would eventually spark the Disc War, Sapnap stole a bunch of Tommy’s items (including the only Netherite chestplate on the server at the time), and told him he’d only give the stuff back if Tommy helped him with a conflict he had with Ponk. Long story short, Dream tried to intervene and was killed by Tommy and Sapnap, and Dream stole Tommy’s discs to force him to apologize. He then kept the discs, and the Disc War followed. Sapnap, despite being the aggressor and arguably forcing Tommy to participate in the conflict, was never punished.
This proves not only that the rules can change whenever Dream feels like it, but that they’re arbitrarily enforced. Dream refuses to punish his friends for the same crimes he endlessly fucks over Tommy for.
L’Manburg was created in part because of the fact that the rules were unevenly enforced. Tommy, Wilbur, and later Tubbo were repeatedly killed, stolen from, imprisoned, and even held hostage for very minor crimes, while the people killing, imprisoning, kidnapping and stealing from them were able to do so without impunity.
This was also the point where Dream just started making up new rules; there was no rule against having governments on the server, or making a separate area where Dream’s rules wouldn’t apply, so Dream banned governments, and used this new rule as an excuse to kill them, take their items, and tear their land to shreds.
And that’s another thing: the punishments for breaking Dream’s rules are INCREDIBLY harsh.
Kill him non-canonically one time? Your most prized possessions will now be dangled over your head and used to hurt you for the next few months.
Make a country with different laws that doesn’t infringe on anyone’s territory, has no desire to expand, is explicitly pacifistic and open to trade negotiations? You’ll be forced to fight a war you’re in no way equipped to fight, you’ll be betrayed and murdered and have your land destroyed in front of your very eyes until you literally have no choice but to surrender.
Mildly vandalize the king’s house, which nobody else has ever been punished for? You’ll be dragged into court, exiled from your home, and subjected to weeks of abuse until you believe that all of your friends hate you and you actively want to kill yourself.
Hide some stuff in a secret chest? Your only shelter will be exploded, your pet/only food source will be killed, all your items will be destroyed, you’ll be banned from the Nether, and none of your friends will be allowed to come see you.
This is all such disproportionate retribution it’s ridiculous. It’s like punishing someone for speeding by blowing up their car with a ballistic missile.
So to sum up: Dream’s rules are arbitrarily enforced, and he can just straight up make them up on the spot if he feels like it. Sometimes, he won’t tell you a rule exists until you’ve already broken it, and you’re treated as if you broke it out of malice instead of genuine ignorance. And if you do break a rule, and he decides you have to be punished, it will always be a punishment so harsh it doesn’t even ATTEMPT to fit the crime.
I don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty fucking corrupt and tyrannical to me.
When people say Tommy deserved exile, or made Dream spiral into villainy, or abused Dream somehow (seriously I’ve seen this take multiple times and every time it makes my brain melt) by breaking the rules, I would invite them to take a step back and ask themselves, why did that rule exist? Did Tommy know it existed? Was it enforced for everyone other than him as well? Does the punishment fit the crime?
Dream has a bad habit of making up rules, or enforcing old ones that were never enforced before, to punish those who threaten his power. None of the Dream Team were ever punished for anything, despite committing the same crimes as the L’Manburgians. That is, until they founded Mexican L’Manburg (i.e. went against Dream’s rule), at which point they were attacked by Dream and George was dethroned for “not being neutral enough.”
Tommy should’ve faced consequences for what he did. But those consequences should’ve come naturally, and been carried out by the people he hurt. Like, if Dream hadn’t intervened, griefing George’s house would’ve resulted in George griefing Tommy back in revenge. In fact, he DID do that, by turning Tommy’s entire house into granite and putting the Jump In The Cadillac picture on his front lawn.
These are natural, proportionate consequences. Exile was none of that. The Disc War was none of that. Everything that happened to L’Manburg was none of that.
Dream’s rules and how he enforces them are inherently corrupt and tyrannical. To pretend it’s anything but is disingenuous at best.

A/N: Here’s the much anticipated continuation of Be Okay and Life Could Be a Dream! I had to take more creative liberties than I had intended since we got so little Peter last episode (which is even more of a crime than that beanie), but I hope you guys enjoy anyways!
Tumblr media
The hard ground was cold and damp beneath your cheek. Slowly opening your eyes, darkness was only met with more darkness. After your sight had adjusted to the gloom, you could make out a faint purple glowing coming from the walls. It was almost as if it was omitting from the tangled branches warping across the stone surface.
Pushing yourself off the ground, your bones ached as you used what little energy you had left to sit yourself up. There were no windows in the tiny room and the wooden door across from you was more than likely locked. It’s not like you even had enough power to move over there anyways.
With a sigh, you rubbed your palm against your forehead as you tried to figure out how you’d gotten there. The last thing you remembered was asking Wanda why Peter couldn’t remember you as your real memories came flooding back to your conscious mind.
You didn’t know how long you were falling when you landed on the cold evening grass. There was still just enough adrenaline left in your system for you to immediately jump to your feet, eyes glowing yellow as you raised your fists raised as you took in your surroundings.
You were on the lawn of some mansion, the towering stone structure dimly illuminated by the lights left on in a few of the windows. Your heart raced as you turned around quickly, seeing nothing but hedges and grass on the massive lawn.
Although your mind was still racing, you eventually reached the conclusion that knocking on the door was the best option. With your cape trailing behind you, you strode across the grass and up the driveway as you made your way to the front entrance. Despite how intimidating the massive oak doors would normally have seemed, you bravely reached up to the heavy knocker and slammed it down thrice.
Rather than feeling anxious, you felt annoyed more than anything. Of course Thanos would send you somewhere far away from where you needed to be. You only hoped that this really was Earth and you weren’t stranded on some random planet.
You weren’t sure exactly how long it had been when a timid looking man with glasses finally opened the door.
“Can I help you with something?” He asked, furrowing his brow as he took in your super-suited form. A little part of you was almost embarrassed at your appearance, but there were more important things to worry about.
“Yeah, where am I?” You asked, crossing your arms and pursing your lips.
“Uh, Charles Xavier’s School for the Gifted… I’m sorry, who are you?” He replied, opening the door slightly wider as his confusion intensified.
“(Y/N) (Y/L/N). And where is this school?” You said, pushing the topic even more. “We are on Earth, right?”
“Are we on Earth?! Why wouldn’t you be on Earth? That’s not just something you don’t know.” He retorted, and you could see the veins on his hand growing a startling shade of blue. You decided to ignore it, if this stereotypical scientist guy wanted to fight then you could easily take him out.
“Okay, so the titan behind the attack on New York a couple years ago, Thanos, is trying to gather these things called infinity stones to wipe out half the universe. Some of his goons were just trying to get the time stone from this wizard in New York, and Iron Man, Spider-Man and I wound up having to save him, which led to us winding up on Thanos’ home planet, Titan.” You explained, making gestures with your hands as you spoke. “Long story short we were there fighting and he opened some portal and dropped me through it and now I’m here.”
“Oh, that makes sense. Bye!” He began closing the door in your face until something, or rather someone, stopped him.
“Wait!” A British voice called from inside the school, prompting the glasses-clad man to open the door even wider than before. This new figure was bald and seated in a wheelchair, rolling closer to you with a curious gaze. “They’re not crazy Hank.” He addressed the man, who quickly stepped out of the way so that you could enter the building and closing the door behind you.
“Professor Charles Xavier.” He introduced himself, reaching out to shake your hand with a knowing gaze. “You are a long way from home, aren’t you. The reality you remember is much farther away and about thirty years in the future.”
“Wait, what?! Thanos yeeted me back to the eighties?!” You exclaimed, shock and terror flowing through your veins as a gust of air blew past you.
“What’s a ‘yeeted’?” A new voice asked and you suddenly noticed a silver haired boy leaning against the wall nonchalantly. “Are you some Marty McFly Back to the Future-character or something?”
You glared in response as you felt annoyed with this stranger and his childish antics. This was going to be a long night.
The memory of your first meeting with your beloved Peter was enough motivation for you to push yourself off the ground, wobbling on unsteady legs as you rushed to the door. Wiggling the knob to no avail, you took a few steps back and raised your hand in an attempt to blow it off it’s hinges.
“That’s not going to work, you know.” A familiar voice behind you spoke. Whipping around, you saw Agnes, except now her hair was tangled and her eyes were glowing purple.
“So you’re the one doing this. Not Wanda…” You said, sizing her up as the woman stroked the rabbit in her arms.
“Oh no, Wanda is doing this, but I’m the one behind the wheel.” She bitterly smiled. “Agatha Harkness, dear. You see, I needed a Pietro for Wanda but the real one’s been dead just a little too long. Your ‘Peter’ was the perfect replacement, but unfortunately you tagged along when I ripped him from your reality.”
“Peter and Pietro are completely different, Wanda’s eventually gonna figure that out.” You snapped, growing more and more furious with each syllable passing through her lips.
“Peter’s playing his part like a champ! He won’t be missing you anytime soon.” Each word was nails on a chalkboard to your ears. “But don’t worry about being lonely, you won’t be alone down here much longer.” With a swish and a flick of her fingers, Agnes disappeared into a swirl of purple and Tommy and Billy took her place.
“(Aunt/Uncle) (Y/N)!” They shouted, terrified and immediately running over to where you stood. You met them with open arms, holding the twins close in a hug as you whispered that everything was going to be okay in a failed attempt to comfort them.
“Mom said Pietro isn’t really our uncle… Who is he?” Tommy questioned as you let go of the duo.
“He’s not… His name is Peter, and he’s from another reality. Your Mom’s brother died a long time ago, but Agatha brought  him over because technically they are the same person? I think? I’m not sure how it works, but they are both Maximoffs and Peter has a little sister named Wanda, too. It’s complicated, but that witch is controlling him.” You explained, answering questions that you didn’t really understand yourself.
“You’re thinking really loud…” Billy commented, holding his head in his hands as he attempted to block out the noise of your mind rushing a hundred miles an hour.
You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could talk you felt a gentle tap in your mind. Then another, this prod slightly stronger. And again, the poking becoming quite the nuisance.
“Billy, please don’t try to read my mind.” You said, staring into space as you attempted to keep the child out of your thoughts.
“I’m not.” He replied, dropping his hands to his sides as me met your eyes with a look of confusion.
You matched his puzzlement, the poking continuing and becoming even harder to ignore. Maybe it was a lapse in judgement or your exhaustion catching up to you, but you decided to drop your defences and let this strange presence into your head.
“(Y/N)? (Y/N), can you hear me?” A voice in your head asked.
“Charles!”

The late Daniel Fenton
It was shaping up to be a beautiful if chilly December day and Casper High, as always, was bustling. It was 7:49 and class was about to start. The teacher watched the last few kids stumbling in at various levels of wakefulness. He already knew who would be the ones to rush in after the bell but that was alright. Life was too short to stress about being a few minutes late to class, especially in Amity Park of all places.
He looked up to see Madison, one of his shyer students walk in before making a beeline for his desk. She was biting her lip and nervously rubbing her hand down her skirt. “Hey,” she began quietly.
“Good morning. What’s up, Mads?” He asked casually. She looked upset, he could probably put on a video for the class if she needed to talk. They really needed a permanent counselor but the constant ghost attacks ran off most of them so he’d taken up the unofficial mantle. It felt good to help his students like that, make up for past wrongs.
“Are we um, expecting any new students?” She asked, her eyes darting over to the door she’d just come through. “Any transfers, exchange students or anything like that?”
“No,” the teacher frowned. “Amity isn’t the kind of place people transfer into. Why?”
“There’s a kid in the hallway,” she mumbled. “I don’t recognize him, he’s got a backpack and everything but he’s... I don’t know he doesn’t feel right.”
“Oh you’re talking about that weird dark haired kid,” Kyle said as he entered and sat down with a slouch. But even the class slacker looked unusually tense. “Dude’s creepy, can’t put my finger on why but he definitely doesn’t belong.”
“Oh,” was all the teacher had to say. Suddenly he realized how cold the classroom had become, the uncomfortable feeling that was pressing ever so slightly down on them. “I suppose it makes sense, the ghosts have been quiet lately with the Truce and all. He probably got bored.”
“Sir?” Madison said.
“Shannon,” he said instead, looking over at the frizzy haired girl hunched over her sketchbook furiously at work. “Would you do me a favor and move to the vacant seat in the second row? Just for today.”
“What? Why?” the girl whined even as she gathered up her various arts supplies and got ready to move.
“That’s Mr. Fenton’s seat,” he said taking in a deep breath and closing his eyes in preparation for what he was about to see. Danny would come here, of course he would. This was Lancer’s old classroom and Danny had him for first period English Lit. He and Dash both did.
“Mr. Baxter? What’s going on, is it a ghost?” Malik asked from the back row while Shannon shuffled to her new temporary seat.
“Yes but you don’t need to be scared,” he said softly, evenly. “He won’t hurt you.” The bell rang but Dash didn’t start the lesson. Instead, he waited. Danny had never been on time to class the entire time Dash had known him, of course death wouldn’t change that.
“Sorry, I’m late Mr. Lancer,” Dash gripped his desk so he didn’t jump when Danny Fenton simply appeared in front of his desk instead of walking through the door like any other student. “My folks couldn’t drive me, they’re still working on their stupid ghost portal.” A quick glance over at this class showed varying levels of fear, shock and curiosity but they were Amity kids through and through. The cold, powerful energy radiating off Fenton told them it was best to play along with whatever the ghost wanted.
“Perfectly alright Mr. Fenton,” Dash said softly, searching the 14 year old’s perpetually young face. He hadn’t changed a bit since Dash last saw him their second week of freshman year. It seemed unreal seeing how the years had taken their toll on Casper’s favorite son, Dash Baxter. God had they really been that young once? “Take a seat and we’ll get started.”
Danny shrugged and walked over to the seat Shannon had just vacated. He sat just the same, one leg stretched out and the other propped up against the leg of the desk. As soon as he took off the backpack and put it around the chair, it disappeared. He didn’t say anything else, just sat as stared at Dash with piercing blue eyes like he could see right through him.
“We had been talking about the lead up to the Civil War but let’s table that for today,” Dash said, proud his voice only wavered a little. He knew other people had seen Fenton around town. Lina saw him standing outside the Nasty Burger maybe five or so years ago. Dale, who used to live near Fenton Works swore he sometimes saw someone moving through the windows of the long abandoned house. He’d always secretly dreaded the thought of seeing Danny Fenton again, afraid he’d finally get was coming to him.
“Instead, we’re going to talk about local history,” he continued, not daring to take his eyes off the undead teen. Every other living student was tense, afraid. He wished he could assure them that the ghost wouldn’t lay a hand on them. In the event Fenton decided to ditch the hero schtick, it would be Dash and Dash alone he’d come after. “Amity Park has long had rumors of being haunted dating all the way back to the 1600s. It wasn’t until the last century that scientists determined that Amity Park is located on top of a thin spot between our world and the ghost realm. Natural portals form here all the time allowing spirits to pass through.”
No one spoke and barely anyone breathed except for Danny would wasn’t breathing at all. He just sat and stared at Dash with steady, unblinking eyes.
“Jack and Maddie Fenton were the scientists who discovered the weak point in reality in Amity. They devoted their entire life to the study of ghosts and made remarkable advancements in our knowledge of ectobiology and culture, the first being,” he paused as Danny cocked his head in confusion, squinting his eyes suspiciously at Dash. “The first being their manmade portal to the ghost zone. The portal remained active for almost two decades for research purposes but was shut down following their deaths.”
“You’re not Mr. Lancer,” Danny said suddenly, his eyes shifting from baby blue to an ectoplasmic green. Marty, who was sitting to the left of Danny, swallowed a squeak of fear and squeezed his eyes shut.
“No,” Dash sighed, “Lancer died almost thirty years ago now. Best teacher I ever had, he gave me his blessing when he passed on the job to me.”
“I,” the ghost ran his hand through his hair which was starting to lose its color. Seeing Fenton looking so scared and confused made him ache. It reminded him of old times. Dash had spent most of his life making sure he helped hurt kids if only to make up for the one he’d never been able to make it up to. “I don’t understand.”
“It’s okay, Danny,” he soothed. “I know it’s a lot to take in.”
“The portal, it wasn’t working at first,” Danny justified, his aura glowing a little more. “Sam and Tuck, they were curious. They wanted to look but I told them it wasn’t allowed, Sam, Sam she dared me to go in. I put on the hazmat suit and went inside and found the on button inside. I accidentally hit it and-” he paused midsentence and looked down at his hands. They weren’t pale flesh anymore but covered in white gloves. The black was completely bleached from his hair. A few of the students gasped as they saw the strange would be student melt into Phantom, the ghostly hero who’d been protecting their town since their parents were young. “I died.”
So much time had gone by. People were born and people were buried and the truth became distorted until it was just a legend passed jokingly around cafeteria lunch tables. Amity’s youth had forgotten their town’s history until it was sitting in a desk, trying once more to be one of them.
“You did,” Dash said sadly. He remembered hearing the news of Fenton's death. An assembly had been called the morning after the accident. Lancer had cried at the podium, Manson and Foley hadn’t returned to school for a week and had never been the same again. Dash hadn’t known what to think at the time, only that the kid he’d beat up for the crime of being different would never show up to school again. Or so he’d thought. “It was a tragedy, you were mourned by a lot of people.”
“I know you, don’t I?” Danny said quietly before he sat up straighter. “Dash?”
“In the flesh,” Dash grinned shakily.
“But you’re so old,” Danny said, once more distressed. “Your hair is grey and there’s wrinkles on your face and-and you’re a teacher now?” The last line was said with incredulity, his eyes flaring again. “You used to push me down the stone steps of the school and shove me into my locker and call me names.”
“Yeah, I did,” he sighed, feeling every one of his years. He was pushing 70 but he didn’t think he’d ever stop feeling like a stupid 14 year old who took out his frustrations on the ones who didn’t deserve it. “But you were the last; I never touched another kid again. I’m married now, four kids. I’m vice principal now, teach History and coach the school’s football team. It’s,” his voice caught again, still unable to process how young and stupid Fenton looked sitting there like no time had passed at all. It made Dash feel like all his accomplishments and attempts to be better would never amount to anything so long as his last victim roamed the earth unable to find peace. “It doesn’t fix what I did back then but I make damn sure that there won’t be any bullying at Casper so long as I’m here.”
“Huh,” Danny said, slouching once more in his seat but it looked less like his earlier teenage laziness and more weary. He and Dash were the same age after all, just because only one of them got old doesn’t mean time didn’t still affect them. “You did change, a lot of things did.” Danny looked down at the desk, “how long has it been?”
“Almost 50 years,” Dash sighed. “My wife wants me to retire but I guess I always find more things to do.” He paused then decided it was now or never. “I’m sorry Danny, for hurting you back then. I wish I'd gotten to know you better.”
For just a moment, Danny was perfectly clear. Even half floating out of his chair and looking like the local celebrity, his eyes were so painfully human. A boy killed before he ever got a chance to get started. Who’s will to protect was so strong it lasted half a century. It haunted him late at night to think of the glory and power of Phantom overshadowing just how incredible Danny Fenton had been. Not that anyone had seen it at the time. Soon there wouldn’t be anyone left to remember that quiet, kind teenager and then Danny Fenton really would be dead. Kill him just as thoroughly as that portal had.
The moment was broken by a breath of cold leaking out of the ghost’s lips and, just like that, his highschool classmate was gone and Phantom was left in his stead. He looked curiously around the classroom as if he didn’t know how he’d gotten there.
“There’s a ghost, stay here and don’t leave unless the fighting gets too close. I’ll get it though, don’t worry. No kids are dying today.” Maybe it was Dash’s imagination but he thought he saw Phantom’s eyes linger on him for an extra moment, trying to place where he knew the teacher from. Dash just smiled.
“Our lives are in your hands. Good luck, Phantom,” the ghost teen saluted before fading away entirely. Dash let out the breath he didn’t know he’d been holding, suddenly exhausted but also lighter at the same time. It wasn’t every day you got to look your mistakes in the face and apologize. “Shannon, you can move back now.”
“No, I’m okay here,” Shannon said as she flipped to a new page in her sketchbook and looked intently at the spot where Fenton had once sat. “It’s like you said, that’s Danny’s seat.”
“I had no idea, Phantom’s been around for like, ever,” Freddie mumbled, pushing up his glasses. “But he used to be just like us.” And still was, Dash thought sadly. Danny would never grow old, never go to space like he’d always dreamed or marry Manson like he’d probably intended to. He was stuck, in more ways than one for who knows how long.
“Yes, that’s why it’s important to know your history. The Civil War and my other lessons are important but we can’t forget these smaller, more intimate histories. If we lose these lessons to time then we risk repeating the same mistakes over again.” He looked his students in the eyes, holding their attention.
“So we’ll continue today with the local history. Before he was ghost butt kicking superhero, Phantom was Danny Fenton, son of the local ghost hunters and a bit of an outcast in town. The Daniel Fenton Foundation was founded about a year after his death and was-”

Queen: YN, what were you thinking? Admitting to murder? What would possess you to do such a thing?”
Witch: I was helping my friends.
Queen: You’re friends who you grew up without. You’re an adult now YN. You can’t just do whatever you want.
Witch: I think that means I can.
Queen: Not without consequences you can’t.
Witch: And it’s because I'm an adult that I did what I did. They’re just kids.
Queen: What would your father say?
Witch: He’d give me a high five and say good job.
Queen: YN
Witch: He’d also be proud. Why can’t you?
I huffed, cutting my phone off, sitting it on the table as Matt walked around the table.
“They’re not pressing charges. And the previous charges have been dropped.”
“That’s good.”
Matt sighed, sitting down across from me.
“YN-”
I shook my head, looking over at Matt.
“Thank you, for doing this. It- someone could say it’s a conflict of interest since you represented Peter and-”
“Peter’s no longer my client since his charges have been cleared. There’s no conflict here.”
I nodded, looking down at the table.
“Right.”
“YN, you know I can sense that something’s wrong. What is it?”
“Nothing. I’m fine.”
“YN.”
“It’s not even my problem. I’m fine.”
“YN-”
My phone started to ring, causing me to make a face as I picked it up.
“Peter? What’s wrong?”
Tumblr media
“You did what?!”
“I sorta kinda, maybe went to Doctor Strange for help.”
I tilted my head to the side, making a face.
“Doctor Strange?”
“Yes.”
“For help.”
“Yes.”
“Time altering help.”
Peter nodded slowly, taking a step back.
“Yes.”
Tumblr media
“So Peter, to what do I owe the pleasure?”
“Right um, I’m really sorry to bother you sir, but-”
“Please. We saved half the universe together. I think we’re beyond calling me sir.”
“Okay uh, Stephen.”
“That feels weird, but I’ll allow it.”
“When, when Mysterio revealed my identity, my entire life got screwed up and I was wondering, I mean, I don’t even know if this would actually work, but I was wondering if maybe you could go back in time and make it so that he never did?”
“Peter, we tampered with the stability of space-time to resurrect countless lives. You wanna do it again now just because yours got messy?”
Peter shook his head, slightly making a face.
“This isn’t, it’s not about me. I mean, this is really hurting a lot of people. My- my Aunt May, Happy, my best friend, my girlfriend, their futures are ruined just because they know me and, they’ve done nothing wrong. And YN, she just confessed to the world to a crime she didn’t commit. She’s putting everything she has on the line, for me.”
Strange tilted his head to the side, looking over at Peter.
“Stark’s kid?”
Peter nodded, sighing softly.
“Yeah.”
“I am sorry but, even if I wanted to, I don’t have the Time Stone anymore.”
Peter sighed, nodding.
“That’s right. I’m really sorry if I wasted your time.”
“You didn’t-”
Peter shook his head, turning.
“Just forget about it.”
“He will.”
Peter jumped slightly, watching as Wong created a portal.
“He’s really good at forgetting things.”
“Wong. You’ve actually generated a good idea.”
Wong stopped throwing his bags through the portal, making a face.
“What?”
“The runes of Cafkal.”
“The runes of Cafkal?”
Strange looked over at Peter, nodding.
“Oh, it’s just a standard spell of forgetting. Won’t turn back time, but at least people will forget that you were ever Spiderman.”
“Seriously?”
“No. Not seriously. That spell travels the dark borders between known and unknown reality. It’s too dangerous.”
“God, we’ve used it for a lot less. Do you remember the full moon party in Karma-Taj?”
“No.”
“Exactly. Come on Wong. Hasn’t he been through enough?”
Wong scoffed, shaking his head.
“Just leave me out of this.”
“Fine.”
“Fine.”
Tumblr media
“I’m sorry, you expect me to believe that Dr. Strange, the guy with a stick so far up his ass that even he could see it, agreed to help you change people’s memories?”
“Yes. Technically it was his idea.”
“I’m sorry, did being gone for five years make his brain short circuit?”
Peter rubbed the back of his head, shrugging slightly.
“Ah, no? I don’t know.”
He shook his head, huffing slightly.
“But long story short it didn’t work and that’s not why I’m here.”
“It’s not.”
“No. I- Mr. Strange said that I should call MIT and plead my case with them.”
I made a face, tilting my head to the side.
“Isn’t that what I told you to do earlier?”
“Yes. But you were gonna do it for me. I just- I think this is something I need to do, myself.”
He looked over at me, his eyes wide as he shook his head.
“Not to say I’m not appreciative of everything you’ve done and all, but-”
“Peter, take a breath. It’s fine.”
He tilted his head to the side, shooting me his puppy dog eyes.
“Really?”
I laughed, nodding.
“Yes Pete, really.”
I turned, grabbing a piece of paper, writing information down. I turned, handing it to Peter.
“Here.”
Peter took the paper, making a face.
“It’s the assistant vice chancellor of MIT. She’ll be able to help you.”
Peter looked up at me, his eyes wide.
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
Peter surged forward, wrapping his arms around me.
“Thank you.”
I smiled, returning the hug.
“Anytime Pete, you know that.”
Tumblr media
“I know this is my mess, and I swear to you that I’ll fix it, but I’m gonna need some help.”
Strange scoffed, waving his hand around.
“Go.”
Peter nodded, moving towards the door when Strange yelled out.
“No Starks!”
Peter stopped, turning back towards Strange, his eyes wide.
“What? Why not? YN can help! She will help!”
“She’s dangerous.”
“And she doesn’t like you.”
“That too.”
Strange pointed at Peter, shaking his head.
“No Stark.”
Peter nodded, turning as he yelled over his shoulder.
“Sure.”
Tumblr media
“As of now, you have detected zero multiversal trespassers, so get on your phones, scour the internet, and scooby-doo this shit.”
MJ scoffed, turning towards Strange.
“You’re telling us what to do, even though it was your spell that got screwed up. Meaning that all of this is kind of your mess. You know, I know a couple of magic words myself, starting with the word ‘please.”
Strange huffed, rolling his eyes.
“Please, scooby-doo this shit. You can work in the undercroft.”
“The undercroft?”
Strange waved his hands, taking all of them to the undercroft, Ned gasping as he looked around.
“Badass.”
“Guys, listen. Bout this whole spell thing-”
“It’s totally okay.”
Peter made a face, tilting his head to the side.
“Wait, really?”
MJ nodded, offering him a small smile.
“Yeah. I mean, I get it. You were just trying to fix things. And so, maybe just run it by us next time, you know? That way when you’re thinking, ‘Hey, I’m about to do something that could break the universe’, we could like, help you. Workshop something, or brainstorm ideas.”
Peter smiled, nodding.
“Deal.”
He turned, looking over at Ned.
“Ned?”
“Oh, dude. I don’t care. And seriously, not a big deal.”
Ned grinned, walking towards the machine.
“Ooh a torture rack.”
“That is a pilates machine.”
“That is-”
“The crypt.”
“Okay, so we get the rest of the guys. You zap them, Doctor Magic will send them back. And when we get into MIT, round of stale donuts, my treat.”
“Let’s catch some multiverse men.”
MJ made a face, tilting her head to the side.
“Wait, where’s YN?”
Ned nodded, looking over at Peter.
“Yeah. I figured she would’ve been one of the ones to stop you and Strange from doing the spell.”
Peter winced, nodding.
“Yeah, well Mr. Strange said she couldn’t come here.”
“Why?”
“He said she’s dangerous.”
MJ grinned, tilting her head to the side.
“She doesn’t like him.”
Peter nodded, sighing.
“And she doesn’t like him.”
Tumblr media
I sighed, rubbing my temple as I leaned back in my seat.
“Karen, do not tell me you can’t comply with my wishes. Just tell me what I want to know.”
“I’m sorry, Miss. But Peter has given me specific instructions.”
“My dad created you! He put me in charge of all the A.I’s! That includes you! All you have to do is tell me where Peter is.”
“I can’t do that.”
“Come on, Karen. I saw the fight on the bridge. Peter’s in trouble.”
“He’s a smart kid.”
“I never said he wasn’t Karen. Listen, this is getting old. So we can either do this the easy way or the hard way.”
“I’m afraid I can’t help you Miss.”
I nodded, clapping my hands together.
“Hard way it is then.”
“Miss, what are you doing?”
“Changing your program. If Pete can change your code, then so can I.”
“Miss, I don’t really think-”
“Nope. You lost that right when you decided not to tell me where Peter is.”
Tumblr media
I stood outside the Sanctum Sanctorum, glaring at the doors as I crossed my arms over my chest.
“I hate this place.”
I walked up the steps, pushing the doors open. They slammed shut behind me as I walked further into Sanctum, looking around.
“Alright, now where are you?”
“You shouldn’t be here.”
I turned, my hand lighting with my powers.
“You can put that away.”
I scoffed as Strange appeared at the top of the staircase, glaring down at me as I lowered my hand.
“Where is he?”
Strange shook his head as I walked up the stairs, huffing.
“I specifically said you weren’t to be here.”
“Good thing he didn’t ask me to be here then.”
Strange made a face, tilting his head to the side.
“He didn’t?”
“No, he didn’t. Which will be one of the many things I rage about once I see him. For now, you’ll just have to do.”
I stopped in front of him, glaring up at him.
“What the hell made you think it was a good idea to change people’s memories?!”
“The kid asked for help.”
“He didn’t know any better!”
I lifted my hand, poking his chest.
“You did!”
Strange looked down at my hand, raising a brow.
“Put the powers away Stark.”
I huffed, shaking my head.
“Where is Peter?”
Strange smirked as he moved his hands, a portal opening underneath me, causing me to fall. I huffed when I landed, glaring up at him.
“Fuck you Strange!”
He grinned, waving as he closed the portal.
“Asshole.”
I looked up, my eyes widening when I saw MJ and Ned, sitting at a table. They jumped when they saw me, slamming something down as I stood up.
“Where’s Peter?”
Ned and MJ shared a look before they looked back at me, speaking at the same time as I walked towards them.
“He’s in the bathroom.”
“He’s at the store.”
I nodded, crossing my arms over my chest as I stopped in front of them.
“He’s in the bathroom and the store?”
MJ slightly glared at Ned before she turned towards me, nodding.
“Yep. He had to go to the bathroom and then he was gonna go to the store.”
“Right.”
I nodded towards the guy with the tentacle arms, tilting my head to the side.
“Who’s that guy?”
Ned made a face, shaking his head as he laughed.
“Who’s what guy? There’s no guy.”
“Really? Hey tentacle guy, who are you?”
He stopped pacing, slightly tilting his head to the side.
“Dr. Otto Octavius.”
I nodded, looking back over at Ned.
“You were saying?”
“Peter’s still not here.”
“Where is he?”
Ned shrugged, shaking his head.
“Don’t know.”
MJ sighed, looking over at me.
“He’s trying to find the other multiverse men.”
“Multiverse?”
“Peter came to Dr. Strange for a spell-”
I nodded, slightly making a face.
“Yeah, I know all of that. He told me after it happened.”
“It backfired.”

i dunno if it’s strange to imagine darling from SAGAU having a partner when they were transported to teyvat like. . .
are they holding a funeral while darling is being hunted down / worshipped?
are they searching for darling while they’re crying / sleeping peacefully in a character’s arms?
is the partner falling into turmoil while their darling is fighting for their life / playing with the children of teyvat?
YES that’s an interesting idea hmmm. Ty for the ask btw! I’ll serve you the angst first, then the alternate comparatively less sad version. I’ll add the other version in a reblog, because the angst would contain sensitive topics below, and must be separated.
First part: Angst version
Tw: angst, disappearance, funerals, ‘suicide’ of oblivious darling, manipulative yanderes
(Proceed with extreme caution! Skip this if you are sensitive to these topics. Don’t feel bad for skipping it, as long as your well-being is well and intact, anything else is of no such importance! Do not act in a distasteful manner to those who cannot deal with the traumatic topics. Being disrespectful is not tolerated for this post, due to obvious reasons. This is a safe place.)
Darling’s partner would unfortunately, have to frantically search for the isakai-napped darling, to no avail. The family would be shocked as well, reasonably so. They call the police and the community searches for you as well.
The police are naturally unable to recover you from Teyvat. After finding your shoes on a balcony/the top of your house or building, they write it off as a suicide with help, taking it as why there’s no body or mess underneath.
Now you might wonder how your shoes would be up there in the first place. Albedo, the person who came through his portal to kidnap you, had returned for the second time to set the supposed suicide scene up. He made sure to bring Kaeya with him for his ideas and shady methods. He kept Sucrose and Zhongli on the other end, to maintain the portal’s stability and openness.
Kaeya&Ayaka helped him come up with the fake suicide evidence idea. Ayaka knows about the Japanese suicide victims leaving behind their shoes before jumping, and Kaeya puts it into action. All while Albedo attempts to pick up on your device’s use, then researches on suicide methods in your search engine. Both ‘evidences’ produced by them are seen as legitimate by most.
Your family and irl romantic and/or sexual partner is left heartbroken and guilty, for not being there when you ‘died’. Some may be in denial, but they had to have come to terms with your ‘death’ being your disappearance’s reason. They either move on, go to therapy, or end things if their mental health collapses due to the trauma. Albedo has left most of your items untouched except for a few things, but the two were cautious enough to not leave any traces of their presence, so only the lack of certain personal belongings roused suspicion from a few detectives. Not that they were able to figure out ‘logical’ conclusions to the case. Some of your loved ones hold funerals as a form of closure to them. Some elect to not go, or continue searching for you until they pass away. By the time all of your close ones had passed, you’ll still be alive in Teyvat’s dimension as their diety. Knowing nothing spared you the heartbreak, in a twisted way.
You as the darling is oblivious to all these, and with them having already destroyed the portal as soon as Albedo and Kaeya returned, you have no way of returning or reaching out to your world at all.
They gaslight you into thinking that everything is okay when you wake up. That your close ones’s memories of you had been wiped. After staying for a long while, you force yourself to make peace with what information they’ve fed you, for your own sanity. You will have to do therapy for yourself though, seeing that you would probably have trust issues, and there haven’t been therapists in Teyvat yet. Or not easily - found/accessible, at the least.

The Prison Arc - a Complete Recap
[ /dsmp /rp - All of the people mentioned in this post are the characters, not the content creators behind them. TWs for mentions of fictional murder, abuse, torture, self-harm, and other canon-typical themes. ]
Watch the cut-down version of this recap here! The video doesn’t have all the details, but is well-edited and easier to watch.
Starting where we left off, after the Disc War finale, Dream reveals the last trick up his sleeve, the revival book. Seeing him as an active danger to the server, the people need a way to get rid of him in order to keep themselves and each other safe, but instead of killing him, they store him away for later use, also making the prison a Vault in a literal sense.
This is where the story of the prison seemingly begins, but - let’s rewind for a moment, because any and all information here is vital. What do we know about the prison? It was commissioned for 64 diamond blocks by Dream to be built by Awesamdude a day after Tommy was exiled. The prison was supposed to be inescapable, and hold a highly capable individual, yet allow visitors.
Getting back to the lore, a day after Dream arrives in the prison, Tommy goes to visit him. During this visit, Dream states that there is nothing to do in the cell besides watching the clock on the wall, and that he is planning on writing something in the books that were given to him. Tommy shows him how to spin the clock really fast, which Dream calls a new game. He says that he is doing well so far, that he gets fed raw potatoes and can write or “swim”. He goes on to jump into the lava that blocks off his cell, killing himself. Tommy teases him, Dream asking him to visit more as he is alone in the cell with no real interaction. He then argues that if he stays for a long while and gets better, he can be freed, however Tommy doesn’t agree. Dream then apologizes, presumably to convince Tommy he can be let go, and talks about feeling bad about things he lost during the Finale. Tommy gives him five books to write, saying it’s so that he can forgive him. After this exchange, Tommy asks who Dream misses the most, and Dream yells for Sam to make him leave.
Around this time, as he reveals later, Dream starts telling Sam about what he did to Tommy in exile, which leads to the Warden becoming increasingly fearful and especially hateful towards the prisoner.
Nine days later, BadBoyHalo decides to pay Dream a visit as well. Dream is slow to respond at first, commenting that BBH is the first visitor in a while. He says he’s doing good, and spins the clock, because apparently he burnt some of his books, and doesn’t write much anymore. Bad tries to be optimistic about his conditions, and Dream agrees in a very… unconvincing, tone of voice. (29:40 - 29:49)
He says that he gets potatoes, but they’re raw, so they’re not good food. Apparently, Sam has told him he couldn’t have any visitors for a few days, because he would try to get out. He concurs to Bad that he did bad things that got him locked up, and asks how Sapnap and George are doing - noting that they haven’t visited him yet. Bad tells him that Tommy has started a hotel, and about the Egg. Dream seems lethargic and preoccupied the entire time, spinning his clock - he says he’s named it, but doesn’t want to elaborate further. He gives Bad a note that says “thank you for visiting me badboyhalo!” and explains that his sentence is forever, which is later also confirmed by Sam, and goes on to talk more about the clock and how he “likes it halfway” it’s because c!Ranboo metaphorically is the clock-
He once again reiterates that there is not a lot for him to do, and that nearly no one has visited him. He reveals to BadBoyHalo that he sometimes does a “prank” where he’ll burn his clock, so that Sam has to come to replace it and he can see and say hi to him. After being asked whether or not he gets in trouble for it, he replies that Sam will sometimes deprive him of food as punishment, essentially starving him for his attempts at interaction, though Dream diminishes it and laughs about Sam reprimanding him. The Warden is planning to make an automated food dispenser so as to not have to come into the cell himself, which means even less interaction in essence. Despite all of this, he says that Sam is “treating him amazing” and that he’s happy. During the visit, he sniffles and coughs as he talks, voice low and void of energy.
BadBoyHalo wants to become a prison guard so that he can make the cell look nicer, perhaps giving Dream a potted plant and flower or two, as well as promising he’ll talk to George and Sapnap who Dream says he wants to visit him the most. He encourages him to look forward to better things, think positively, and - (42:03 - 42:20) As BBH freaks out, he explains that hurting himself this way is how he keeps himself entertained, setting himself on fire again. He says he wants to summon Bad into the cell by breaking a block when he becomes a guard, but goes back on this as it would potentially make Sam mad. Bad promises to visit with his friends, and leaves the cell.
He tells Sam that he needs to replace the clock, who refuses to, seeming frustrated with Dream’s antics. Bad tries to convince him to give it back, Sam saying it doesn’t matter whether Dream has it or not, although it’s basically one of Dream’s only sources of entertainment, and Bad tells him to give him one more clock as a compromise. Sam asks whether he… said anything, suspiciously enough? And Bad says they only talked a bit and that he jumped in the lava. Sam confirms he does that a lot and he thinks it’s for attention.
BadBoyHalo feels conflicted, to say the very least. (53:34-54:02 54:16-54:33 56:34-56:53 1:02:24-1:03:05)
That very same day, Ranboo has a strange hallucination-like nightmare about visiting Dream. However when he tries to visit again, Sam tells him that he visited not too long after Dream was first locked up, also bringing a memory book with him. Later, during the prison podcast with Techno, Dream himself mentions Ranboo and says that he “used to visit a lot” before stopping completely - this lines up with what Ranboo does afterwards, having Sam promise to never let him in again.
On February 7th, Dream dies in lava repeatedly on someone’s stream. This happens a couple of times throughout people’s time on the server, and seems to line up with Sam’s claim that he swims in lava pretty often.
Twenty-one days into Dream’s stay in the cell, Sapnap finally decides to visit. Dream stands mostly still and silent, holding the clock in his hand, and explains through books that he’s not talking because he’s on strike. He places the clock and spins it - Sam seems to have renamed it to “DO NOT BURN”. He tells Sapnap that he took too long, who responds that it took him a while because he felt hurt, but also says that Dream can talk to him if he wants to. Dream’s cell has had some of the obsidian changed out for crying obsidian as a security measure - Dream could’ve, and tried to, light a nether portal in the cell to escape. Sapnap tells him he needs to stay in the prison, because that is where he deserves to be - Dream burns his clock in response, insisting that he will get better and get out eventually. Sapnap threatens to kill him if he does - Dream simply tells him to deliver a message to Ranboo because he stopped visiting, a smiley face, which seems to trigger his enderwalk when received, and promises to stop throwing his clock away in return. Sapnap says he’ll visit more, and that he’ll tell George to visit him as well.
The next visit is nine days later, and is an attempt at getting closure. Tommy notes there’s a little hole on the prison roof when he goes to check up on it beforehand. (1:39-1:44). When Sam asks, Tommy says he thinks Dream is deserving of being locked up, but he highlights he doesn’t think he deserves death. He implies he could or might deserve torture though. (12:13-12:16). He says he’ll only ever visit Dream if he needs anyone revived from now on, calling it the only reason Dream’s still alive. Upon entering the cell, he notices some of the obsidian is now crying obsidian.
The first thing Dream tells Tommy is that he lost his clock since the last time he visited him. Tommy seems nervous, stumbling over his words. Dream eagerly tells Tommy he’s glad he came to visit him, that it’s been a while, and that he wishes he would visit him more. He says he likes having people visit him, that he likes just talking to them (23:46-23:49).
Tommy tells Dream this is his last visit. Dream argues that forever is a long time, asking why it is the last time. Tommy tells him he’s the pinnacle of villainy and that he wants to move on. He says he’s been suffering from success while Dream wasn’t there. Dream replies that he has been too, except without the success part, just suffering - Tommy says he had it coming. Dream nonchalantly replies with “yeah”. He goes on to say that maybe one day he could leave, saying he’s already been changing since he came. They talk about the crying obsidian, Tommy comparing the situation to exile, which devolves into an argument. He finds out that Dream burnt the books he was supposed to write, and that BadBoyHalo visited at some point. Dream asks him to visit again, but Tommy refuses, saying he’s terrible. Dream says that everyone thinks they’re in the right, and that he did bad things for good reasons (31:51-32:13) - Tommy refuses to listen to said reasons, listing Dream’s crimes again, and says he refuses to stress himself out by going to visit Dream any longer. Dream says he’s trying to change, promising to be better if he comes back, and Tommy says goodbye.
In that moment, explosions are heard going off in the distance. The two talk about it for a moment, before Tommy starts yelling for Sam. His name disappears and the Warden doesn’t answer as more TNT goes off, Tommy freaking out and Dream seeming to find it interesting.
Tommy starts begging Dream for a way out, and Dream tells him calmly that Sam is dealing with the security issue. Tommy doesn’t get it, so Dream explains that it means he could be stuck in there for a little bit, maybe even days. Tommy is getting desperate, Dream tells him he knows he signed a book, because he’s the one who wrote it, that said that if there’s a security issue, he can be in there for up to a week.
Tommy rambles about all the things he has to do that week and calls out for Phil. Dream suggests they break out together, but Tommy refuses this offer.
Dream gives Tommy some potatoes, who hits him and yells at him to explain, to which Dream yells back he has no idea what is going on as he’s locked in a room.
Tommy accuses Dream that he’s lying, saying it’s too perfectly timed to be a coincidence, calling him the monster of the server, saying he hasn’t changed, and Dream trying to convince him he did or he’s trying to. The two argue, Dream bringing up exile in the process, until Dream suggests to just deal with each other’s presence, not hit each other, and explains he’s happy to finally have company, Tommy panicking and saying he wants to hurt Dream. He takes the “thank you” books from the chests, as well as empty books and quills, and burns them despite Dream’s protests, telling him if Sam hears him panicking over the items, he’ll come back - Dream begs Tommy to just wait, panicked, and gives him potatoes.
After quite a bit of arguing and Tommy nearly punching Dream into the lava multiple times, Sam says the prison is on lockdown. Tommy is incredulous. Dream says it’s not that bad, that they have tons of time to bond, and after Tommy repeatedly calls him dumb and evil, Dream loses his cool, yelling that Tommy’s the one that’s being dumb. Tommy calms down as the realization sets in, and the stream ends.
The next time we see Dream and Tommy, the scene opens with Tommy running around the cell, making loud noises, and Dream sitting in the cauldron, writing. He’s frustrated and asks Tommy to be quiet - who looks at the cat that seems to have appeared in the cell, calling it annoying. Dream disagrees, saying it’s the best thing that’s happened to them - Tommy tries to repeatedly lead it away from its place on the chest, however the cat always comes back. He keeps asking Dream questions, punching the cat to which Dream stands in front of it, asking him to stop. Sam appears to give them potatoes. He asks Sam to let him out, who refuses as the security issue hasn’t been fixed yet. Tommy complains about not having enough food, to which Dream gives him some as well as Sam dispensing more into the cell. Tommy punches Dream away from the potatoes, also getting the clock. He tells Sam that this feels like exile, but worse, saying he’s claustrophobic - he refuses once again, and leaves the two alone. Dream says it’s not that bad - that he’s gotten used to the cell, that he’s happy to have company and a cat with him. He burns the clock, and after Tommy asks to be let out again, suggests they escape together - Tommy says no, punching the cat as Dream tries to stand in front of it to take the blow. He asks Dream if he loves it, killing it when he says that he does and wants it to stay after Tommy leaves. In response to this, Dream says that the cat was hope he could stay in the prison and be content, however now he’s even more motivated to escape and get his revenge on everybody who’s wronged him. He says he’s grown tired of Tommy’s whining about being in the same box he’s been locked in for a hundred times longer - Tommy tells him he will never get out, and Dream promises to never use the revive book on him or his friends. He says he’ll be freed someday, because the only way he’ll ever revive anyone, is if he’s let out - Tommy reveals he doesn’t think the revive book, the only reason people are keeping Dream alive, is real. They argue, Dream asking if the fact he can’t be killed because of the leverage he holds makes him some kind of god - Tommy disputes that he has said leverage, Dream killing him as a result to prove the point that his life still holds value because he can bring people back to life.
In the aftermath of this event, Sam reacts by saying he didn’t anticipate Dream actually killing Tommy - hence he never reached the cell in time. When Bad mocks him for this, he replies saying that he thought he had “broken the will out of him” to act up that way. He also reveals that Dream laughed when he started screaming at him - he says he can’t think of worse ways to punish him than he already does, not knowing what time it is, without the clock and with only raw potatoes as food.
After this happens, Sam leaves for an island that we see in Quackity’s lore later on. Quackity comes to visit him, only to rile him up and give him the idea to kill Dream in retaliation - however, when they arrive in the prison, Sam realizes that Tommy trusted him to keep Dream locked up and alive, and decides against it because of his duty and the revive book.
Two days after Tommy died, he was revived once again, with Dream asking him questions about death and the limbo, such as how long he’s been there, who he’s talked to, and what it felt like. He says he was scared it wouldn’t work, because he had never tried it before; Tommy details that being dead felt horrible, he’s talked to Wilbur and Mexican Dream although Schlatt, strangely enough, appeared to be asleep. He expresses signs of trauma when Dream punches him after being asked to do so, and has somewhat of a breakdown in the cell. Dream proclaims he is a god as he can revive people, and Tommy says Wilbur said horrible things to him while he was in limbo with him, and tried to get Dream to promise him that he would never bring him back, declaring Wilbur worse and more dangerous than Dream ever was - Dream refuses, saying he is the only one with the power to decide on that, and he thinks Wilbur hasn’t done anything that bad. He also suggests experimenting on Tommy to find out more about the afterlife, and perhaps even become unkillable. Tommy realizes Dream is the revive book, in essence, and there is no other way to get rid of it than to kill him, to make sure Wilbur stays dead forever. Dream invites him to kill him, however Tommy realizes he can’t, because then he’ll be stuck in the cell alone forever - Dream even walks into lava for him, all the while detailing the possible consequences of such an act.
Dream says that when Tommy gets out, he can tell everyone the revive book is real - that he wasn’t lying. He also says since he can kill everyone and bring them back, they’re his puppets - when Tommy asks him why he killed him, Dream says he wouldn’t listen to him, and hence he had to prove the legitimacy of the revive book to him. He says he’ll let Tommy go, and not kill him again, just so that Sam doesn’t cut off his visitors further or starve him again - but also promises to bring back Wilbur, with whose help he will escape.
After eight more days, Dream and Tommy are still stuck together within the room, Dream remarking that he’s starving, confirming Sam hasn’t come back to give either of them food during the time since Tommy’s revival. He lets Tommy keep his when he says he has only one, and the two bicker after Dream hits him. They’re bored, waiting for the Warden, and have no idea how much time has passed - Tommy burns his food in lava as they argue again, before Sam finally arrives, and Tommy is released. Tommy warns him to not allow Dream any visitors, saying he plans to escape, and that Techno owes him a favor. He also calls Sam inadequate to run the prison.
After this experience, both Ranboo and Tommy start plotting to kill Dream, so that he can’t “bring back the villains” of the past, present, and future, allowing them to rid the world of such dangerous individuals for good.
However, another person also ends up becoming interested in the powers of the revive book - and that person, is none other, than Quackity.
He doesn’t intend to destroy its powers for good, though. He persuades Sam into letting him bring weapons into the cell as a means of getting the revive book, taking away the last bit of power Dream has, and allowing them to take his final life. Sam agrees in the end, giving him better tools before he steps into the cell, including netherite weapons and shears. During the first visit, Dream comments he hasn’t had a clock in a while, Quackity saying the cell doesn’t look very comfortable. He goes on to talk about Dream’s loss of control since he got locked up, to which Dream asks if he came to gloat. Quackity brings up Tommy’s death, and Dream is interested in other people’s reactions. The topic goes back to the revive book, Dream asking again whether people knew it was real now, saying it’s good that they do. Quackity begins to ask that he gives it to him, but Dream refuses, saying he burnt it a long time ago and it is preserved only in the form of knowledge. Quackty takes out the weapons, and after the initial shock, Dream begins to frantically yell for Sam, not knowing the two are working together. Quackity promises to come torture him daily until he gets the revive book from him.
Around this time, the prison’s keycards are stolen by Ponk. Sam builds him a room, planning on killing him and then burning him with lava, beating and poisoning him until he gives them back, even though at this point they aren’t even functional. (4:05 - 4:24) Ponk tries to talk him out of it, saying that the prison is controlling him as much as the Egg would, and that he’s changed. (6:26 - 6:38) Sam ends up cutting off one of Ponk’s arms, successfully getting every last one of the defunct keycards back.
Later on, while BadBoyHalo and Antfrost are handing out invites to the Red Banquet on behalf of the Eggpire, Sam greets them holding a clock and gives them empty books & quills he claims to have confiscated from Dream.
In Quackity’s next lore video, we get confirmation that he has in fact been coming in daily to torture Dream, always escorted by Sam, using different tools and staining his shirt’s sleeves red.
Tommy finally decides to come and kill Dream, sneaking in with an invisibility potion while using Ghostbur as an alibi. The lava starts dropping, and Dream seems to run around the cell once, before coming to a stop at the center. Ghostbur yells excitedly when he finally spots Dream on the other side. He looks at Ghostbur, coming closer to the edge to wave at him, but stops waving when he spots Sam. He backs off slightly, breaking eye contact with Sam. Ghostbur and Tommy cross the lava, and Dream has his back turned on Ghostbur.
As soon as Tommy arrives at the cell, and before the netherite bars drop, he reveals the Axe of Peace. Sam yells at them to stop. Dream takes a step towards the entrance, Tommy immediately turns to him, trying to hit him. Dream backs off until he hits the wall, letting out a small “What?”. Tommy crosses the bridge while Ghostbur stays. Tommy and Sam argue, Dream interrupts, but Sam shuts him down, telling Ghostbur to get further away from him.
Dream pleads for Sam to let him out, who tells everyone to shut up, as Tommy is asking Ghostbur if he can reach Dream to kill him. Dream yells that he has a hostage. Sam answers that he’s just a ghost, while Dream stammers that Sam wouldn’t let another person die.
Tommy starts insulting Sam, calling him a horrible warden and telling him to kill Dream, and they start arguing again. (31:00-31:13, 33:50-33:58) Dream shows that he has the revive book in his hands. Ghostbur starts pleading for Tommy to help him. Tommy and Ghostbur count to ten, Sam telling them to shut up. After he shuts down a last request to set Dream free, he kills Ghostbur as the lava starts covering the entrance.
After well over two months of daily visits, a scene opens with Quackity showing Dream which weapon he will use that day, choosing an axe. Dream tries to take it off the item frame, however fails and only gets himself in trouble, with Quackity yelling at him while he cowers. He says it’s getting tiring, but that he needs to come in to remind him every day about everything he’s done or else he’ll forget, to which Dream promises he won’t. Quackity then proceeds to ask him questions about his involvement and relationship with Technoblade, and tells him to write a note, inviting him to visit. He refuses to say why, but promises to give Dream a week-long break if he obeys. Dream doesn’t trust him, continuing to question his motives. He tries to compromise, offering to write a note to Sapnap instead. Quackity goes on to threaten to kill him, saying he doesn’t care about the revival book, and that he likes hurting Dream, because in his eyes, he can never pay back the amount of evil Dream’s done to everyone on the server. He says not even Sam can help him, swinging his axe around and hitting Dream with a sword while he begs him to stop. In the end, Dream agrees to write the note for him.
Outside of the cell’s confines, Foolish proposes to Sam an idea to reform Dream through community service. This idea is shut down immediately.
MichaelMcChill, a new addition to the server, also tries to break him out a couple of times because - because he. Because he thinks he’s hot???
Interestingly enough, Quackity doesn’t have the note to give techno and just tells him to visit Dream verbally - Techno does, getting trapped in the cell in the process. And, well, in the end: (4:24 - 4:40)
That’s it for the recap!
Thank you.

Part 5 CANDLELIGHT
One of the few things you had learned since your past and your present had collided was the world was constantly moving. Everyone would try to move on, try to better themselves. A process the might look painful on one end, and easy for some. You had it easy. Having Stephen by your side all throughout was good, being able to find the good in the world in him, in your relationship and eventual marriage as well as the child you were carrying.
Things has been going well and you found yourself visiting the compound more on a regular basis now with Stephen constantly by your side. His sling ring a good tool to use to avoid dealing with New York traffic. Being able to reconnect with your friends had been hard at first having ghosted them for a hefty amount of time, but things had been good, especially with everyone just as excited about the baby coming in a few more months.
"Have you found out about the gender?" Nat had inquired as soon as you had arrived into the common room, your husband and Wong was dealing with a mission briefing with Steve and Tony while you waited.
"Not yet." You smiled at your friend before rubbing your growing bump. Sitting by the window with your friend, it was still weird for you to come back here, knowing everything that had happened. The way you just left and never looked back. "We still haven't decided if we're going to wait until the baby is born."
Nat smiled, asking your permission, had placed her hand against your stomach. The light thump had made the two of you jump, your baby's first kick.
"Still can't convince you to name the baby Natalie?" She teased making your burst out laughing.
"Tell that to Wanda and Thor, they're already bribing me with naming the baby after them too." You giggled remembering the multiple of times you had to deal with the two when you visit. "But I'll think about it." You assured knowing the name you had in mind would sound good with a second name added to it.
"We're not mad at you for what happened, Y/N." Nat had spoke all of a sudden, surprising you with the shift of your conversation. "We're surprised that everything happened the way that it did, but we understand why you did what you had to do."
You were left in silence, it was still something you tried your best to keep to yourself. A resentment they might have towards you because of your choice, how you turned your back on all of them when your relationship with Tony ended.
Before Nat could continue on with her words, FRIDAY had called for her to the briefing as well.
"We'll talk later, I'll find someone to keep you company for a while." Nat has said with a smile leaving you all alone to your own thoughts.
It would take a while to come to terms with your choice, but as long as you had Stephen and the baby, you had nothing more you had to worry about. Rubbing your stomach again, the thump had made you smile as you started to hum against the air, hoping to calm your restless baby.
Your eyes lingered onto the windows, the well manicured lawn and the vast land of the compound. You had remembered the time where you would sit in the middle of the grass, soaking into the sunlight after being in the confinement of your former room for days on end.
"I hope I am not intruding."
Turning your head away from the window, the sight of Loki had surprised you. For the most part, you had known about the team's hesitation towards the reformed God, and the other part of you still wary of him after the last time you've seen him in person--when he and his brother had made their way to Stephen's sanctum hoping to find you. The words that he spoke that became the push you needed to this life you now live.
"No you're not, Loki." You assured the God as he has come to approach you. "How's your stay since I've last seen you?" You inquired the man.
Unlike everyone in the team, you didn't have the same resentment towards the man--knowing from Thor what had happened to him, what he had to do to survive, you try your best not to put it against him if you could. And he is a good company to have while you do your research for your book.
"I'm afraid I've lost my library companion." He responded, a ghost of a smile resting on his face. "And I think an apology is long overdue after what I've said."
One brow rose waiting for him to continue his words.
"What I had called you in Strange's Sanctum is uncalled for and I never got the chance to apologize to you."
So he did know you were in the Sanctum. Blinking you didn't really know what to say.
"Why didn't you tell Thor or Tony?" You found yourself asking after a moment.
"What for? If you truly want to be found, you wouldn't have hidden, in such a poor excuse of curtains of all things. And I do not believe that you would be happy with Stark in the long run."
"So you're favoring Stephen over Tony?" You smiled knowing the vendetta still placed on Stephen's back for what he did to Loki all those years before.
"I have said no such thing." He brushed off finally sitting besides you on the couch. "But you're more tolerable compared to the rest of the people in this compound, so your happiness is something I'd champion for."
The biggest compliment you had received from Loki and somehow you find yourself blushing at it. You held onto the man's hand.
"I think I might just name my baby after you, Loki." You teased. "Is this your plan all along?"
"Is it working?" He smirked right back, mischief twinkling his eyes.
"You have Nat, Wanda, and your brother to fight for that right." You pointed out giggling at the antics that Loki was slowly showcasing you. A rare sight as the man chooses to keep to himself most of the time. "Want to feel the baby?" You offered looking up at the man.
"Are you sure?" The man sounded so uncertain and for a while you understood where he was coming from but knowing him, knowing he wouldn't hurt you, it doesn't sound too bad to have him feel the baby too.
Hand still holding onto his own, you placed his palm on top of your stomach. Smiling as soon as his palm rested, a sudden kick had made the two of your jump for a moment. Giving him a side glance, an amazed look that rested on his face placed you more at ease.
"They like you." You pointed out with a smile.
"A mistake they'd made before they're even born." Loki muttered pulling away.
"Loki--" You warned. "You don't contradict a pregnant woman." You warned with a pointed look now focus on him. A sheepish smile now resting on his face because of it.
Before Loki could further contradict himself, the sound of a few voices approaching had the two of you looking up and the sight of your husband and Wong coming to pick you up. But the sight of Tony and Steve also with them, the smile on your face had fallen. So much for trying to avoid the man.
"Hands off the wife, Laufeyson." Your husband warned, but you rolled your eyes and smiled towards the also much annoyed Loki.
"Loki's been keeping me company." You pointed out finally standing up and approaching your husband in the process.
"Fifty bucks he's also trying to convince you to name the baby after him."
"Keep your money to yourself, Strange." You snorted wrapping an arm around his waist. You smiled beamingly at your husband before winking knowingly at Loki and the conversation they had would only be theirs to keep from now on. "Loki's been nothing but nice to me and I'm staring to like the idea of Baby Loki."
At the grimace your husband had on you couldn't help but burst into as loud fits of laughter.  Resting your head against his chest, try as the man could, it was still hard for him to keep his emotions and his sass in check. You were fine with it, happy for his antics from time to time when he wasn't getting on your nerves.
"We'll talk about our child's life choices if you do that when we get home." He muttered cradling your head as you pull back to look at him. "Say goodbye to your friend before we go."
You smiled hugging Loki, taking the man by surprise before promising to catch up with Steve if Stephen ever stops by the compound again. But for a fraction of a second, you found your attention towards Tony, the longing look on his face as he looked at you and it scared you so much. You know you wouldn't leave Stephen, after everything you had been through, but it was just sad to see the playboy so broken--because of you.
"Bye, Tony." You finally whispered before joining your husband and Wong through the portal to bring you right home to the Sanctum.
~
"Benedict Vincent Strange."
The name had escaped your lips as soon as the baby was born. The past thirteen hours, Stephan had been besides himself. Everything he had learned from Med School was thrown in the trash when it comes to you. The doctors had tried their best to stay as far away from him while making sure you were well accommodated.
And everything was worth it as he now held on to his son. A blend of you and him.
Even as the past few hours had been you sobbing to the high heavens while you pushed for the baby out while you pray for their safety. Stephen was relieved to know you and the baby were safe and healthy judging from the lungs capable of screaming up a storm from the both of you. The smile had somehow found their way onto his face.
He had watched the doctors begin to clean up his son before turning his attention back to you. Leaning back against the bed, even with the fatigue and pain still painting your face, you still had this big smile watching from the sides as the nurses swaddle your son.
"He's got your eyes." Stephen pointed out with a smirk and you were quick to roll your eyes. It was just a fun little debate the two of you had while you prepared for the baby, how such discussion span and become so meaningless as all the mattered was this very sight.
A life he never thought he would be allowed to have in his life. After everything he had done--the mistake he had made, he was still allowed to have his own happy ending in the form of you who had almost fallen face first in front of him in the cafe.
"Do you ever regret it?" Stephen asked after a moment of silence passed between the two of you. "Leaving Tony behind for someone like me?"
"Don't be ridiculous, Stephen." You smiled holding onto his hands, pulling him closer to where you laid to rest. "I've got everything I could have ever wanted in my life. A decent man that loves me more than the whole multiverse combined. I've got a child that I will give my life and soul to protect and love."
It was the truth, and the smile that lingered on his face made everything alright now. There would come a time that his life would be put on the line for the sake of the world, but it was alright. It was for you and it was for your son. His own little manifestation of a happy ending.
He would want nothing more in his life.

Disclaimer: Any thoughts, criticisms, or reviews expressed in this post are my own opinions. The definition of opinion is: “A view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.”
Ok, look.
I know I said last week that I officially had it with the whole “Attachment” thing, but I’m serious now.
I’ve had it.
I’ve had it to the point where I do not want to hear the words Sallie, attachment, demon child, portal or Sam in any sentence together, ever again in life.
So...this episode was a tough one for me to chew on, because OMG.
I cannot believe I’m about to say this, but I really hope when they have Amanda on in the season finale, she does some weird Amanda shit and “cures” Sam of his attachment, so we aren’t rolling into Season 2 with this narrative. Cause I cannot hear of this anymore.
What happened to just, like, history and tours and wacky flashlight tricks? Avril was right when she asked, “Why’d you have to go and make things so complicated?”
So, in the interest of my sanity, the review of the Madison Seminary episode will be Attachment-free.
I wasn’t going to write a review this week again, mostly because I feel it gets on a lot of everyone's- including mine lol's- nerves when I dissect every episode the way I have a habit of doing (also, because some weeks I have little to say, but that’s a side point).
But, I want to talk about a couple of things, so here we are. Sorry.
The first thing I want to talk about is the paranormal investigating community, and how it appears to be rife with beefs and drama (who knew?).  And our idiot boys just went ahead and turned themselves into defnoodles for an episode and got right into the middle of some beef between Mustafa from Ghost Hunters and Adam the guide.
Now, I have known for years that there’s been beef between the tv show paranormal investigators (well, mostly between Zak Bagans vs Everyone else), but to know that people have beef over building owners over how their buildings came to be haunted was news to me. So, I did a little of the old googling, and found the blog that Mustafa wrote, vaguely accusing Adam of essentially conjuring entities in the building after coming across some odd symbols painted and etched into the walls, and alluding to him sort of misrepresenting the history of the Seminary (according to Mustafa, they spoke to a local historian who claimed that there weren't any documented instances of abuse in the building, and that it was “a pillar of the community that served a lot of people”).
It was...interesting.
First of all- sometimes, a shuffleboard in the floor is just a shuffleboard in the floor, and not a demonic symbol.  I mean, that’s just facts.
But the other symbols?  Apparently, when GH came through, they encountered strange symbols that had been taken out of the Simon Necronomicon, which (according to my googling skills, i am not well versed in this subject) is a grimorie that seems to be used largely to ward off evil.  However, apparently there are some summoning seals in the book, too, so maybe that’s why Mustafa felt the need to bring it up to Adam, who claimed to have painted sigils on the walls as a source of protection.
Regardless of whether you believe in the symbols or their meanings or not, if enough people believe in the power of something- that can breathe life into something that originally had known. Belief is power. So, maybe they’re onto something there, I don’t know.
But for snc to just jump right on into this little controversy and flat out bring it up to Adam’s face was surprisingly- un-snc of them.  They aren’t normally ones to straight up bring up controversial topics to people's faces, especially when it comes to potentially accusing people of faking the history of a building or purposefully conjuring spirits to a building, so the fact that they brought this up was an eyebrow raiser for me.
I guess we can cross out a collab with Ghost Hunters in their future.🤣
The other thing I wanted to talk about is, again, my new favorite topic- energy.
Adam brought up a really interesting theory about how some of these paranormal hot spots can become so hot, which is the idea of thousands of people coming through a space over the years and bringing things with them, or leaving pieces of their own energy behind.  I love the thought of it, and am fascinated by it.
Other than those two items, I had a few other miscellaneous reactions to random stuff that happened throughout the video.
If so many people over the years are coming into a space that they believe to be haunted- and some of these people are paranormal investigators, or idiot youtubers, or psychics/mediums, etc- then it stands to reason that they could be bringing pieces of other entities/energies, or even leaving behind pieces of themselves, in these places.  I like this theory so much more than the portal theory, if I’m being completely honest. So, points for that discussion.
The other interesting thing he brought up is the concept that bad people in life could potentially = bad people on death, and maybe not every dark entity/energy is demonic, so much as it is just...a dead asshole. I've always thought that theory had some credence, so extra points for that, too.
Nate is a trooper for getting down in that dirty ass hole, cause like...bugs and shit. Sinkholes. Snakes. Disembodied zombie hands that could pop up from the depths of hell below you and grab your ankle and pull you away.
Colby had some weird psychic shit going on in this episode, that I know he'll never fully address (cause he lives to disappoint me lol), but him zeroing in on the Maddie doll right away before anyone told him who it was? Going right for the little door that apparently has had poltergeist activity attached to it in that hallway? At the end, when they were in the doctor's office room asking the doctor questions about stuff and he kept randomly nodding his head "yes" and "no" in time to Sam's questions (and the answers they were getting with their wacky flashlight tricks)? Man's intuition was doing overtime in this one 🤣.
Speaking of Maddie- Colby: "I had a relationship with a ghost named Maddie." Nate: "Are you even flirting with ghosts, now?" Colby: "Yeahhh 😘😏😎." That whole exchange, for some reason, just took me out.
And one more Maddie related thing, before I hit the road- Colby holding the Maddie doll the entire time was both hilarious and oddly heartwarming. He was holding that doll's hand 🤣. He looked so proud of himself, too, at the end.
Ok, back to business. This planchette thing. I'm...underwhelmed. Nothing of true substance has happened with this thing so far. It eas a bit of a reach, I feel to tie their scribble to the doctor's tool, but...sure, ok. I guess it's better than the scribble they got last week, that all the fans were trying to say was a shoe.
I love how Steve was telling snc of a time when he thought he got possessed, and Sam's first reaction was to ask, "Hey, you wanna recreate that?" THIS IS WHY, SAM. This shit is why you have the thing that I won't talk about and refuse to acknowledge is happening anymore. You are the personification of "fuck around and find out," holy shit.
Props to Steve for agreeing to go along with that stupid ass idea, though (even if Mr. Dies First in a Horror Movie Golbach decided later on to do it himself).
The audible noises were interesting, but could've easily been snow coming off the roof or wind banging against a window...still creepy, so that's cool.
Overall, this episode was the weirdest mix of really entertaining and really fucking annoying to the point of giving me a headache. I love love LOVE this group together- I know I said that Seth might be my favorite person they collab with, but Nate might actually be my favorite person they collab with (until the next time Seth pops up, when I change my mind lol). I love the Haunted Nights guys and Adam was a lot of fun and an interesting character. That right there helps bring back most of the points they lost for how annoying the thing which I shan't speak about anymore is, so that kind of level sets them back at 0. I'll add about a solid 5 points for the things mentioned above, so 5/10 isn't as bad as it could be.
But God help them if they talk about attachments next week, they're getting -1 million points for infinity.

It’s time for Techno to visit Dream in prison. After saying some parting words to Phil, Techno goes to Pandora’s Vault for the first time...
Later, Quackity, Puffy, Bad, Skeppy and Michael tour around Las Nevadas for a fun chill stream, and Quackity recruits Michael as a worker to build in the city.

- Phil offers his help, but Techno doesn’t want Phil to take any risks paying off his debt
- But there is something Phil can do: Techno wrote a will. He throws a signed book to Phil. Phil asks how many days he should wait. Techno says it varies. The instructions are in the will
Techno: “I took a vow. Those who treat me with kindness see it repaid tenfold...I gotta honor that.”
- He rings the channel member bell
- Techno wonders if he can bring Steve, but probably not. He says goodbye to Phil and heads off for the prison

Sam. Technoblade will be paying Dream a visit. This is business related. Let it happen.
It’s also tax write off :)
- Quackity
---
- Techno reads the waiver aloud and signs it “Techno Blade”
- Sam then asks the questions:
“When is the last time you visited the prison?”
“I have not visited the prison before”
“Where is your place of residence currently located?”
“I live in like this cabin in the north, it’s pretty chill.”
“Do you believe that the prisoner is deserving of being locked up?”
“I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea why he’s in there, so...”
“Are you saying no?”
“I’m not saying, like, yes or no, I don’t really -- I’m not really up to date on the news recently, if I’m being honest.”
“What are your prior relations with the prisoner?”
“Yeah, we’ve been business associates I’d say, in the past, you know. I wouldn’t say I’m like friends with him, honestly -- he’s kinda sus...I’m not gonna lie, it does not surprise me at all that he ended up in a jail, ‘cause that guy -- he’s a little weird sometimes, you know. A little strange...So you know, it’s, eh...it’s up and down.”
- Sam gets to the last question, telling Techno he’s the ultimate authority on the grounds of the prison
Techno: “Oh I love authority, everyone can tell you that.”
- Techno goes to store his belongings in the locker. There’s a bed in an item frame now which he uses to set his spawn. Techno opens up his Ender Chest and stores all of his armor and weapons in it
- Having run out of space in the Ender Chest, Techno puts his remaining items in the locker chest: Potions, gapples, golden carrots, an Ender Chest, Ender Pearls and a stack of stone
Techno: “Well. You know, you seem like a trustworthy man.”
- They go through the security protocol. There’s a new Ender Pearl stasis chamber in the first room that wasn’t there before. Techno zooms in on it before it activates, teleporting Sam in
- Techno’s impressed with the prison’s design. He gets Sam to open the vault door a second time to admire it
- Techno signs the next waivers “sub to techno” as “Technoblade (subscribe to technoblade”
- Techno praises Sam’s creativity with the prison, comparing it to the Butcher Army’s simple execution platform
- The lava wall comes down. Dream isn’t facing them
- Techno walks with the moving platform to the cell. The second Dream sees him, he starts shouting
Techno: “Yo, Dream! Dream, what’s up!”
Dream: “TECHNO NO! NO!”
Techno: “No what?”
Dream: “QUACKITY -- it’s a trap! It’s a trap! Techno--”
Techno: “What about Quackity? Dream, you need to -- I haven’t seen you in a long time, Dream.”
Dream: “(muffled) Techno...He’s been torturing me I gotta -- I didn’t write that note.”
...
Techno: “I’m not gonna lie to you, Dream, I -- I kinda had a feelin’ he was lying, but I kinda had to visit anyways, just to see how you were doing, get to the truth of things, you know? You know? And besides, Quackity’s not even here, man.”
Dream: “...Why did you come?”
Techno: “I wanted to see you! I need to figure out what’s going on here, Dream, and between you and me, I’m an anarchist, so uh -- (looking to Sam) Can he hear me at this volume?”
Dream: “They’re working together...”
Techno: “Who?”
Dream: “Sam and Quackity!”
- Techno asks Dream to tell him everything. Neither the lava wall nor the Netherite barrier have lowered yet
- Techno looks back at Sam, asking how long he has to be in there for
Sam: “I think you could do with a nice long stay with Dream...you’re probably the main threat to uh -- to Dream escaping, aren’t you, ‘cause you know, the two of you have worked together before, and...”
Techno: “I...would never defy authority, alright. I. Love. Authority.”
Sam: “I think we both know that’s probably not true--”
Techno: “Everybody will tell you how much Technoblade loves authority figures.”
- Sam refuses to send the bridge back, saying the two of them will have some catching up to do. He sends the lava wall down
Techno: “Sam, this is NOT DOING MUCH TO CHANGE MY POLITICAL OPINIONS!”
(Dream freaks out in the background)
Techno: “...Alright. Well that was nice.”
- Dream panics. Techno tells him it’s fine, that they’re not out of options
Dream: “I have been in here for six months! What do you mean we’re not out of options, it’s fine -- how?!”
Techno: “Well I mean, maybe you’re out of options, but like I actually have friends now. I know I was kinda like a loser when we first met...”
- He finds the books and quills and tells Dream to write down everything he knows about the prison
Techno: “So...hows it goin’, roommate?”
Dream: (quietly) “Oh my god...”
- Techno seems optimistic about the new experience. Dream tells him he used to have a clock as Techno examines the cell
- Techno tells Dream to get to writing and ends stream
- Ranboo goes back home and is confused by how much the trees have grown. He thinks Phil probably has something to do with it and that he knows something, even though Phil isn’t doing it himself
- He then goes mining
- Quackity does a chill stream on the SMP working on the roads of Las Nevadas while chatting about lore out of character
- He walks down the Prime Path when he gets suddenly jumped by Skeppy and Bad, who attack him together. Quackity threatens to blow up their house
- Captain Puffy joins the fray and stops them
- Quackity offers Puffy and Michael a tour of his country
- He goes eating at McPuffy’s and Michael comes over to give him food as well
- There’s a hostile takeover of McPuffy’s and Bad declares it McSkeppy’s now. Quackity takes the drive-through instead
- Quackity orders a BTS meal and Bad hands him a steak “with extra cruelty”
- He starts walking them all over to his country, asking them what their expectations are (Quackity talking to Bad at this point is non-canonical) Skeppy wants a lot of ducks
- Quackity falls into the Punzo Chunk
- He tells them that his country isn’t even near done, and he’s going to need a lot of cheap labor. Skeppy says it doesn’t sound very enticing, but Quackity says he’ll give him all the ducks he’d want.
- Michael tells him about his experience with 2b2t
- Quackity shows him the concept of “the house always wins” (a picture of “Finding Doryto”)
- Quackity kills Skeppy and Skeppy logs off. Bad is horrified. Quackity tells Bad it isn’t his fault that Skeppy is dead as Bad buries Skeppy’s dropped things beneath the ground under the Needle
- Quackity shows the remaining people to the gambling machine, teaching them how it works
- Afterwards, he takes them to the strip club and starts stripping at the pole
- He takes Michael into the back, where he tries to mug Michael for his things. But Michael runs out the back door
- Quackity goes back to stripping and offers Bad to go into the back room for a “surprise.” He tries to mug Bad, but Bad goes running out the back door
- He returns to Puffy, defeated, and half-heartedly promises her a surprise in the back room too. Puffy, not at all suspicious, follows him and he tries to mug her. She gives him ink sacs, slabs, Ender Pearls and shears.
He shows her out the back door
- Afterwards, Quackity takes the three of them to the Tommyinnit Restaurant
- Then they go to the stage and Quackity puts on a “show” for them...
...Which is more stripping
- Next up is the hotel. There’s nothing in it, so he takes them to the pool outside. Bad almost drowns
- He wants to show them “something embarrassing,” so he brings them to Tommy and Wilbur’s headquarters
- Quackity then shows them the Eiffel Tower to conclude the country tour and they argue about a trident
- He suggests Michael and Puffy possibly build some structures around Las Nevadas and gathers them at the Needle. He shows Michael the empty plot next to Fundy’s area and says he needs something put there in return for some free spins at the casino. Michael’s down for that
- Quackity tells Puffy and Bad to help Michael build there. Bad asks how much he’s getting paid, and Quackity says he gets free spins at the casino too. Bad and Puffy start arguing again and Quackity leaves, having gained a new worker
- Bad and Puffy continue to argue about the trident
- Later, Michael builds a statue in Las Nevadas

It’s crossover season – Part 4.
Supercorp, Kara Danvers x Daughter!Reader, Lena Luthor x Daughter!Reader, Iron Man x TeamMate!Reader, Captain America x TeamMate!Reader, Doctor Strange x TeamMate!Reader, Thor x TeamMate!Reader, Black Widow x TeamMate!Reader, Hulk x TeamMate!Reader.
Word count: 2715.
Please check out Part 3 if you haven’t, I think tumblr hid it for some people :( I promise it’s worth it.
You open one eye and look at Wanda sitting next to your bed.
“You should go help.” You say softly, but you cough violently right after.
“The battle is over. After you closed the portal, it got easier. All things considered.” Wanda stands up going to you. “Now go back to sleep, you need to rest. You almost died.”
“Please.” You dismiss her with your hand. “I almost die a lot.”
She chuckles at your response, but you agree with your head, because you are feeling tired anyway, and slowly you let yourself fall back to sleep.
When you wake up again, it doesn’t feel like much time has passed, but Wanda is nowhere to be found. You sit up on the bed, looking around. You get a glimpse of yourself in the window and your eyes widen. Wow, you look a lot worse than how you feel. You look like you’ve been in the middle of an explosion. Oh, wait. Did you really go to outer space? On the list of your life’s bad decisions, this is definitely number one, easy.
“Hey!” You hear, and turn to the door to see Wanda there. “You up. How are you feeling?”
“A lot better than how I’m looking.” You say, making her smile softly at you.
“Stark sent this for you.” She shows you a box of donuts and your mouth drops, almost comically. “He said if you didn’t like donuts, you were probably insane.”
“Well, donuts happen to be my favorite food, so-” You raise your arms, and she gives you the box. “Come on, let’s share.”
You open the box and find a little sticky note there, with a scribbled handwriting
Donuts are for geniuses who save the world - Mr. Playboy
You smile, ripping it off the box and shoving in your pocket. Wanda sits next to you, and you smile at her, before diving in for the food.
“So, is everyone ok?”
“Yeah, pretty beaten down and tired, but we won.” She shrugs, and you agree with your head. It feels good to hear this. We won. You’re a part of it, and she wants to make sure you know that. “Well, we couldn’t possibly have done it without you.”
“Oh please. Mister Thor could have gone to space, or I don’t know, anyone else?” You shuffle in bed uncomfortable. “It’s not like I can actually breathe in outer space.”
“Wait, what?” Wanda’s brows are pinched together at the sound of that. “And you went anyways?”
“Well, we needed to close the portal.”
“Thor could have gone. Do you realize you could have died?” She looks shocked by the revelation and you smile.
“Yeah, but it was either me or millions of people back on Earth.” You shrug, then push her with your shoulder. “Besides, I didn’t, right?”
“You’re a superhero alright.” Wanda says making your smile open wider. That sounds good. Really good. “You know the fight is over, right?” She asks and you agree with your head, mouth full of donuts. “Strange can send you home.”
“Oh.” You look at her, cleaning the corner of your mouth with the back of your hand. “Yeah. That’s great.”
“Wait.” Wanda leaves your room, but comes back a minute later with a polaroid camera. “So I don’t think I’ve imagined you.”
“Oh, you totally did.” You smile, looking at her, sitting in bed next to you. “I’m pretty sure we’re all in a very elaborated dream caused by an imp from the fifth dimension.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” She says, and you shrug, throwing your arm around her shoulder and making a funny face.
“Take two.” You ask and she agrees, taking another one, where the both of you are smiling.
“I don’t mean to interrupt the fun.” Vision appears in your bedroom, coming from a wall, and you jump in bed from the scare.
“Vis! We talked about this. The door is right there!” Wanda points at it, and you laugh.
“Oh come on, if you could phase into a room, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t use a door.” You tell her and Vision agrees with his head.
“It’s not exactly phasing, I’m just manipulating my density so I can become intangible.” He corrects, and you and Wanda look at each other holding a laugh. “Well, I came to offer you my services.”
“How come?”
“You are looking, if you allow me to say-” He asks and you nod so he goes on. “Rather beat up. I was thinking I could use the solar energy on you, to help your recovery.”
“That would be really helpful, in fact.” You say with a smile, and he agrees, getting ready to shoot you with it.
It all happens too fast. One second Vision is shooting you with solar energy, next second a portal is opening up in the bedroom, and the very next Supergirl is throwing herself on him, yelling:
“GET AWAY FROM MY KID!”
It’s so fast, it takes you a few more seconds to acknowledge the whole scene going on before you.
“Vision, don’t engage.” You ask, standing up. And you look at Wanda. “Wanda, stop her!”
“Stop me?” Kara yells in shock and Wanda quickly separates your momma from Vision with her powers. She involves your momma with it, making it impossible for Kara to move.
“What are you doing?” You ask Kara, who just looks at you so in shock like she doesn’t know what to say.
“He-He was shooting you with a… With that thing on his head!” Kara justifies herself and looks at Wanda on the other side of the room. “And she’s doing whatever this is.”
“He was helping me!” You look at Wanda again, giving her a little nod. “She’s going to put you down if you promise not to engage again.”
“I-I’m-Ugh! Fine!” Kara reluctantly agrees and Wanda puts her down.
“Guys, these are my moms!” You point to Lena and Kara on the other side of the room, and run to them so you can hug them. Kara holds you tight, while staring at the heroes on the other side of the room. “Ok, momma.” You try to get out of her embrace. “Momma, can I hug mom now?”
“Oh. Ok.” Kara finally let’s go, and you move to Lena’s arms. But you see Kara is still in a defensive position, ready to get into a fight at any moment.
“Hey.” You hold her arm. “You can relax now. They’re my friends.”
“No, they’re not. They kidnapped you.” She says without taking her eyes from them.
“We didn’t, actually. She decided to stay for the battle.” Vision corrects her, and you see that Kara is not buying into it.
“What battle?” Lena asks, with furrowed brows.
“Long story! Anyways, you guys are here now.” You look at the device on Lena’s hand. “And that means we can leave.”
“Aren’t you going to say goodbye?” Wanda asks. “To everyone else?”
“Yeah. Let’s go outside.” You guide your moms out of the compound, and look inside with a smile on your face. You know this was your house for less than two days, but still felt pretty good to be here. You press the comm on your ear. “Smart mouth to Mister Playboy.”
“You better have left me some donuts, kid.” You listen coming from your comm, and you smile harder. Well, if donuts are for geniuses who saved the world, he certainly deserves some.
“Come outside.” You ask, and it doesn’t take long for him to show up at the front door. He walks towards you, well-aware of what these two women behind you mean.
“So, you’re leaving.” He says matter-of-factly, and you nod. “Finally.” You smile and roll your eyes. He comes closer and raises his hand at you. You shake it. “We had a good run.”
“We did.” You agree, because he is right. All the bantering, the jokes, him having your back, picking you up while you fell from the sky. It was a pretty good run.
“Ok. I don’t do sentimental.” He says, but still looks at Lena and Kara, nodding like he’s saying hello. “Just make sure she knows that she helped. What she did was very brave, and also somehow very stupid-” He raises his eyebrow at you. “But mostly very brave for someone her age. I’ll be sure to keep in touch whenever I need a little hand here.”
“Maybe with a grown up this time?” Kara says and he waves her off with his hand.
“Nah. I like the kid.” You can see a tiny smile in the corner of his mouth, but he fakes it. So, you hold back your smile too. “Did you guys bring your own portal, or should I call Strange to send you back home?”
Lena shows him their portal, and he agrees with his head.
“Guess you weren’t lying about L Corp.” He says, looking at the logo on the device, and you agree with you head. “Then, expect a bill coming soon.”
“Bye, Mister Playboy.” You wave goodbye and he shuffles pretending to be unbothered by you leaving.
“Bye, smart mouth.”
Lena turns on the device and you’re almost walking through the portal, when you see the rest of the team showing up.
“You forgot to say goodbye to some people.” Stark says and your smile grows wider, looking at everyone in front of you.
Kara looks shocked by the amount of people in the garden, looking sad about you leaving. Her hand goes to your shoulder, protectively and almost scared they’ll take you from her again.
“Hey, kindergarten.” Bucky is the first one to talk. “Thanks for the help out there.”
“Nice work there, kid.” Cap comes forward with his hand raised so you can shake it. You do so. “Thanks for the back-up.” He smiles softly, baby blue eyes turn to your moms, assuring. “Great kid! You should be proud.”
“Forgive me about the kidnapping part.” Strange comes forward and you smile down, while Kara throws a possessive arm around your shoulder, and Lena holds your arm, which makes you smile harder. “She was of great assistance. She fits right in.”
“Superkid, daughter of Kara and Lena, good fight out there. If you're ever in Asgard, come join me for a beer.” Is Thor who talks next.
“Thor, she is a kid.” Banner says, making you, and some other Avengers, laugh.
“Nonsense.” It’s Thor’s answer. “This girl can lift Mjölnir when none of you were worthy enough to do it. For a mighty warrior like her there shouldn’t exist Midgardian rules like such. She can have a beer if she wants to.”
You look up to Lena who discreetly shakes her head in denial to you. You shrug.
“It was nice meeting you, science pal.” Banner says and you smile at that. “Thank you for the lesson about the multiverse.”
“Thank you for the lesson about nuclear physics.”
“Sorry about the gunshot, kid. Nice fight.” Natasha says and you agree with your head. “Your Earth is lucky to have you.”
“Thanks for making fun of Bucky.” Sam fist bumps you and smiles, listening to Bucky mumble something like ‘I made fun of her’. “Oh yeah, and for the fight thing.”
“Here.” Wanda sneaks in something in your pocket and smiles at you. “It’s what you’re thinking.”
“I’ll see you around. Around the grey area, maybe.” You say, hugging her and she hugs you tight for a minute, before letting you go.
“And we’ll survive together.” She agrees with her head, and smiles at you.
“Is that everyone?” Kara asks, looking at you and you agree with your head when you don’t see Vision.
“Excuse me, Superkid. I would like to personally thank you for your help and care towards Wanda.” He appears before you, coming from out of nowhere.
“Vis.” Wanda says, blushing a little.
“I hope we fight together again. It’s always refreshing seeing someone genuinely good in the world.” He says and it’s your time to blush. “I won’t keep talking longer. Your moms must be eager to take you home, as we are to keep you here.”
“She’s going home.” Kara’s firm grip tights around your shoulder.
“Unless she wants to stay.” You hear Stark’s voice and you smile, knowing he is absolutely messing with your moms. “There’s always space in the compound, if she agrees not to break it. And as Strange said, she fits right in.”
“We thank you for your offer.” Lena answers, slowly pulling you and Kara back to the portal. “But we have to go now.”
“Of course. Of course.” Thor says, winking at you. “You obviously can’t stay here, but Asgard waits for you. You call, and I’ll send Bifrost for you.”
“Ok! Well, I don’t know what Bifrost is, but she is not traveling to another planet. Say goodbye now, baby.” Kara asks, squeezing your shoulder and slowly walking backwards.
“Bye ‘the Avengers’! Whenever you guys need a hand, Cape-guy knows where to find me and Thor can send Bifrost! I hope we meet again soon.” You smile, and Kara pulls you into the portal before anyone else says anything.
“Oooof, that was close!” Kara says, after Lena closes the portal behind you, and she looks around to make sure you three are alone. “I actually thought they would keep you right there.” She breathes in relief, when she realizes there’s no reason to worry anymore because you are home. She hugs you tight and Lena joins in the hug too. You three stay there for a few good minutes, until you make motion to move.
“No, no.” Kara says still pulling you in. “We’re still hugging. You’re not going anywhere.”
“Momma.” You look up to her face. “I’m not going anywhere.” You assure her and she lets you go slowly.
“I’m sorry little one, but you made a lot of friends.” She reaches for your cheek, stroking it gently. “And they seem to like you very much. And all of them were so impressed by you that they wanted you to stay.”
“I know!” You beam excitedly. “Even Mister Stark.”
“Yeah!” Kara agrees looking at Lena from the corner of her eyes, and she whispers to your mom. “Who’s Mister Stark?”
“Isn’t he the one that said you did something very brave, but also very stupid?” Lena asks and you open a forced smile at them. They raise their eyebrows at you.
“I may have gone to outer space and kicked off a bomb that would close the connection between the worlds, and I almost died while doing so.” You say with the same forced smile, while they realize what you just said.
“You may have or you did?” Lena raises an eyebrow at you.
“I may have did.” You shrug. “But I didn’t die!”
“You don’t say.” Lena pulls you in for a hug again, kissing your forehead. “Is there a way for you and your momma to save the world without putting yourselves in dying conditions?”
“No.” You and Kara say at the same time, earning a sigh from Lena.
“I’m sorry for making you guys worried. They needed help in this battle and I, well, I helped. And also, Mister Strange said he left a card?” You ask and they agree with their heads.
“It could’ve been more direct, though.” Lena says and she and Kara exchange a look. “But he did leave the directions, at least.”
“So, tell us everything. About everyone. I can’t wait to hear about your adventures.” Kara asks excitedly and you smile feeling the same way.
“Sure. But can it be over pizza?” You raise an eyebrow at them, and they agree with their heads.
You look down to what’s in your pocket, and you pick it up to look at the picture of you and Wanda making funny faces. Next to it a sticky note signed by Mister Playboy himself. You can’t help a wide smile that comes to your lips. Good. It wasn't a very elaborated induced dream from an imp of the fifth dimension. It was real. All of that. The fight, the jokes, the friends. Everything was real.
“Ready, kid?” Kara asks and you put both items back in your pocket.
“I am now.”

the islander chapter one; dreamer
HAHA FUCK YES HELLO IM SO HYPED
Legend is called Dreamer in this!!
Ao3 Link; here!!
Link had been waiting for what felt like forever.
He had kissed Marin goodbye before she went to wake up the windfish, and…he hasn’t seen her since.
He’s terrified.
What if something bad happened to her?
What if she was…?
Actually, Link doesn’t want to think about that.
She’s a tough girl, she wouldn’t have been knocked down easily.
There was an interval in time where Link had been taken through a strange portal, and had used his trusted bell to help in a war, but…
Not a single person had even seen her return when he was gone!
He’d sent letters whenever he could..
But she’s gone.
Link knows this, but..
He won’t stop waiting for her.
Which brings him to his problem.
He’d taken Bow Wow on their daily morning walk, and when he’d returned there were 8 men and boys waiting for him.
Link had invited them in, of course.
It’s only polite.
“Your name’s Link, right?”One of them questioned, tilting his head.
He has some weird black markings on his face..
“Yeah..”Link mumbled softly. “Why..?”
The one with a closed eye let out a soft hum. “It’s a little difficult to explain.”
“Basically!”The one with the longest hair spoke up, rather loudly. “We’re all named Link, and we’re all heroes of Hyrule! You’re one of us, kid!”
Link paused, barely processing this before the words left his mouth. “What do I call you?”
Turns out, the names are odd but simple.
The small one in the multicoloured tunic—Four, he said his name was—gently told Link each name of the 8 others, pointing to each one as he did.
His voice is the calmest.
“So. You’re in the era of legends…so we should call you Legend, but…”Four tilted his head, a comforting smile on his face. “What do you want to be called?”
Oh.
Legend doesn’t…feel right.
After all, he isn’t the Hero of Legends.
“Um…”Link paused, looking away.
What was it that Marin had called him?
That would work..
“Dreamer works…”Link mumbled, a soft smile on his face.
Marin always called him that…
She called him petal, too.
“Dreamer…?”Wild blinked. “That’s cute!”They smiled brightly, getting up.
“Alright. So, you should get your stuff together.”Twilight hummed, frowning. “Need help with anything?”
Dreamer paused, wincing.
He doesn't…actually have a lot.
He has his bell, he can buy a shield and buy a bow and arrow set..
It doesn’t feel like enough.
Now that Dreamer is thinking about it…
He’s so different from the rest of the group.
For starters, he isn’t a hero.
Marin is the hero.
She’s a good hero, too!
And…he doesn’t even look that similar.
They all seem to wear similar fabrics, armor, and they’re all layered.
They also all seem to have various shades of blond and brown hair..
Dreamer’s hair is pink.
A lovely shade of pink, mind you.
But…still.
It’s pink.
And Dreamer is only wearing a simple, red dress.
Well, simple may be a bit humble.
It’s a dark, wine red with some golden embroidery on it, and a lovely black ribbon is tied around the middle.
He also has a nice flower in his hair.
It’s blue, and at night it glows..
He’s dressed for where he lives—an island.
Of course he only has a sundress and some sandals..
“Dreamer?”Four blinked.
He jumped, looking at Four. “Um. I don’t…have a lot of stuff.”
“That’s fine. We can grab it real quick then!”
“I have to go buy a bow..maybe a shield, too..”Dreamer mumbled.
“Don’t you have one..?”Warriors mumbled, but shook it off. “Alright. You go do that. Where’s your sword?”
“I don’t…have one.”Dreamer laughed, pointing at the oversized bell that resembles a sea lily. “I fight with that.”
“Oh…okay?”Sky smiled, despite visible confusion on his face.
He nodded quietly, sighing. “Um…I’ll just grab it and you can come with me.”He smiled faintly, grabbing the bell before heading out of the house with them.
“That’s a pretty flower in your hair.”Wind smiled brightly. “My sister likes flowers in her hair too! I guess it’s an islander thing?”
“Oh…you live on an island too?”Dreamer smiled, and Wind nodded quickly.
“Yeah! It’s really nice.”
Dreamer nodded, listening to the sailor ramble as they entered the shop.
“Hey, songbird.”The shopkeeper smiled. “Whatcha here for?”
He smiled in return,
putting the required rupees on the counter. “Shield and bow and arrow set.”
“Oh?”The shopkeeper's smile fell. “You ain’t planning on leaving the island, are ya?”
Dreamer shook his head. “It’s just to protect myself around the island..”
“If you’re sure, kid.”The shopkeeper smiled again, putting the rupees under the counter. “Go on, take em.”
Dreamer carefully took the two items, waving to the shopkeeper as he left.
He feels bad about lying…
But he has to.
If they’re heroes…maybe he can find Marin!
Though…he will have to tell Madam MeowMeow.
After all, he won’t be able to walk Bow Wow.
“One more stop.”Dreamer smiled at the heroes, before heading to Madam MeowMeow’s house.
He pet Bow Wow once, gently knocked on the door, and waited for her to open the door.
“Oh! Hello, did you need something dear?”Madam MeowMeow smiled faintly.
Dreamer is choosing to ignore the strange looks the heroes are giving Bow Wow.
“Um. I’m just here to say…I won’t be able to walk Bow Wow in the mornings for a while.”
“Oh? How come?”
Dreamer paused, then sighed. “I’m leaving the island for a little while..”
“What?”She frowned. “You’re barely even armed! Here.”She shook her head, unhooking Bow Wow’s chain. “Take him, my baby loves you! He can protect you.”
“Oh! Are you sure?”
“Of course! Just look after him!”She warned, sighing.
“I’ll bring him back safely.”
“You’d better bring yourself home safe, too!”
Dreamer nodded, grabbing Bow Wow’s chain and waving to Madam MeowMeow as he walked off.
“Are you guys…okay?”
“That’s a ball and chain.”
“It has teeth!”
“Oh. Bow Wow’s really sweet though!”
“...right.”
“Um…why don’t you show us around a bit before we leave?”
Dreamer nodded, leading them around.
This is the first time in months that he hasn’t just been sitting and waiting for his hero to return.

Missing Links: A New Hyrule
This story has a prequel called Secrets in the Breeze! Go check it out!
My Missing Links
Tumblr media
Wind took a deep breath, savoring the scent of the breeze as blew by. It had been awhile since he'd smelled salt in the air.
It was good to be back near the ocean.
One by one, the other heroes came through the portal, which shut behind them with a blue flash. Hyrule looked at Wind curiously. "Do...you recognize this place?"
"Nope!" Wind spun around with a bright smile. "But we’re near the sea! That’s always a good sign!”
“I beg to differ,” Legend muttered, taking note of his surroundings.
It wasn’t much. They stood atop a cliff that overlooked the sea-bordering countryside, with a sparse collection of villages tucked into the nooks of the nation. But what caught the pink-haired hero’s attention most was the network of golden roads that stretched across the land, leading towards a grand tower far inland.
In the shadow of the massive building stood a castle; one the young man immediately recognized, which threw the whole tower into proportion.
It was...big.
Tumblr media
“So, here’s the plan.”
The redheaded man slapped a map against a tree, stabbing it through with his hairpin to keep it in place. He snapped his fingers, and the circuits of his prosthetic hand lit up in timeshift blue. “We came in here,” he said, drawing a glowing X over a place in the north of the Forest Realm. “The loser that stole my control slate ran off, and we got lost chasing him. So now we’re down here.” He circled Whittleton Village.
Fox watched the hero explain with wide eyes, fixated on his glowing fingertips.
“The guy could be anywhere,” he continued. “HOWEVER, if he knows how to calibrate it right, he probably has a map updated on the slate. And if he knows what the slate does, which he has to in order to pull a stunt like he did twice in a row, then he’d head for Hyrule Castle.” Taps drew an arrow towards the castle and tower in the distance. “We’ve already lost a day just getting out of Lost Woods. He’s probably way ahead of us if we travel on foot. But if we use one of the minecart guardians people drive around here...” He traced his finger along the minecart tracks that stretched across the land. “We can probably beat him there, as long as we catch one within the next couple hours.”
Tumblr media
He spun to face his companion, clicking the drawing rune off. “Any questions?
Fox’s hand shot in the air. “Mr. Link? How does your arm work?”
Taps gave him a flat look. “Timeshift-powered output core.” He gave his prosthetic a solid pat. “Sheikah tech. Not what we were talking about. Any relevant questions?”
“...Well...” Fox rubbed the back of his head. “The...guardian things...they take passengers, right?” He looked at the hero with big eyes. “So, don’t they charge rupees?”
Taps paused. He hadn’t considered that. “...We can stow away.”
“Absolutely not.” The Hytopian put his hands on his hips sternly. “These people have lives to live outside of us. It’s wrong to steal labor from them.”
“They’re not GONNA have lives to live if this timeline gets screwed with by my slate!”
“Then we should get money fast, shouldn’t we?”
Taps’ eyes narrowed, and he crossed his arms. “I didn’t exactly bring my wallet with me when I got yanked through time and space. You plan on selling your extra clothes for it?”
Fox gasped in horror, hugging his bulky luggage. “Never!”
“Well then. Not that big a problem, is it?”
Fox bit his lip. “...Give me one hour,” he finally said. “If I can’t earn us enough rupees for a trip by then, then we can talk about stowing away.”
Taps rolled his eyes. “Fine.” He held up a metal finger. “You’ve got one hour.”
Tumblr media
Legend walked along the strange track, examining the golden triangles beneath his feet as he followed the rails. The power in them tugged at his attention, no matter how hard he tried to look away.
What were they?
“Hey.” An elbow dug into his shoulder. “Hyrule to Link, are you there?”
Legend side-eyed the offender crossly. “No.”
“Well then,” Warriors replied, smirking. “I guess that means I get your share of lunch.”
“You touch my apple pie and you find out exactly what my medallions do.”
“Ouch. Touchy.” He followed Legend’s line of sight down to the ground. “Must be an interesting road.”
Legend nodded, looking back at the tracks. “They’re...powerful,” he said, gesturing to them. “They radiate magic, and they feel...Hylian. Like they’re alive.”
Twilight shuddered. “I certainly hope they’re not,” he said, giving Epona a pat. “The last thing I want to worry about is living roads.”
WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
The Chain jumped in unison at the loud sound, attention forcefully torn from the Spirit Tracks at their feet.
Off in the distance, blurred by a shimmer of heat, a steam-powered machine charged down the tracks at breakneck speed. With a frown, Twilight whipped out his Hawkeye mask to get a better look.
It was HUGE; it had to be at least as tall as three horses standing on top of each other. As it rounded the bend and headed towards them, he got a good look at its segments—a house, a tray, and a cannon?
Twilight squinted, adjusting the mask’s scope. “What in Farore’s name...”
“What is it?” Time asked, raising an eyebrow.
“...Some kind of mechanical caravan.” Twilight concluded after a moment of thought, lowering the mask. “And it’s not stopping. We should move.”
WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
“NOW.”
Quickly, the group got off the tracks, giving them a WIDE distance.
As the steam-powered beast approached, it let out a shrill, screeching noise, causing the heroes to clamp their hands over their ears in pain until it finally rolled to a stop with a pressurized hiss.
Time slowly lowered his hands, shaking off an involuntary shiver at the redead-esque noise. “Everyone alright?”
Hyrule groaned, rubbing his ears sorely. “I think I finally feel bad for DIgdogger...”
“We’re fine,” Four answered. “I’m going to have a headache for the next week and a half, though...”
“Tell me about it...what even WAS that?” Wind asked, scrunching up his eyes as he popped the pressure in his ears.
“‘Hoy!”
The seafarer suddenly snapped to attention at the familiar greeting.
Tumblr media
“’Hoy!”
Link leaned out of the engine cab and waved to the band of...soldiers.
They had to be soldiers, right? They had swords and armor. Maybe there was a ceremony or something coming up.
One of the group, a young-looking boy in blue, waved back to him. “‘Hoy, stranger!”
“Everything alright?” Link called. “You look kind of...lost.”
The group looked between each other. “We kind of are,” another one said, a heavily-scarred one with a long ponytail. “Can you tell us where we are?”
“Just west of Whittleton. Where are you trying to go?”
“Hyrule Castle town,” the most heavily armored one replied. “Is it far from here?”
Link looked the group over critically. “...Not really. It’s a 20 minute ride by train. Can I ask who you guys are?”
“An orchestra!” The kid that had initially greeted him exclaimed.
“...An orchestra.”
“Yep!” He pulled out his baton. “See, I’m a conductor, and he’s got a harp, and he’s got an ocarina...”
“What are you playing, then?” Link said, raising an eyebrow.
“Uh-”
“Song of the Hero,” the friendly-looking one in the white cape supplied. “It’s a classic.”
“...Right.” Link held back a sigh, feeling like this was going to be trouble. He could just leave them...
...But this was Bulblin territory. He’d feel bad.
He could just tell the guard captain to be on the lookout once he got to Hyrule Castle. That’d keep them in line, right?
“...Do you guys want a lift?”
Tumblr media
The train ride was such a change from walking everywhere. Granted, it had been difficult to convince Epona to climb into the passenger car with them, and Legend was sharing a VERY uncomfortable stare with a fluffle of rabbits gathered at his feet. But, for the vast majority of the heroes, it was a chance to rest their legs and watch the scenery fly by.
And it was incredible.
The only comparable thing Wind had seen in his travels was speeding around on Linebeck’s steamboat, and even that required him to be focused on not running into barrels and sandbars.
This, though? It was smooth. The train ran in a straight line, zooming by acres and acres of land without so much as a bump in the wrong direction, with endless ocean through one side of the car and towering mountains through the other. Thinking fast, he pulled out his pictobox and snapped a few shots as he went along.
When the train made its first stop, the screeching sound was notably more bearable through the barriers of the cabin walls. It still made Hyrule wince, but it was a far cry from the veritable scream they’d had to endure before.
As it finally came to a full stop, the engineer that’d picked them up peered into the cabin. “Nobody get up yet, we’re not here. I’m just picking up some more passengers.”
Time raised an eyebrow. “You do this kind of thing often?”
The stranger gave him a deadpan look. “Nope. Never in my life.” Without another word of explanation, he shut the door.
Time stared after him, taken aback.
Had he just....been sassed?
A moment later, the back door of the cabin opened, and two new passengers entered.
“I told you I could pay fare!”
“Yeah, yeah. Still think we could have saved money.”
They sat in the back seat, bickering quietly and, to Legend’s relief, attracting the fluffle away from him. As the train resumed its travel down the road, he found himself listening in to their conversation.
“-plan once we get there?”
“We start looking. Duh.”
“That’s it? That’s all you’ve got?”
“Look, if someone uses it, we’ll know. It’s not exactly an easy thing to- ...hide.”
Curious at what had made the newcomer trail off, Legend looked back at them over his shoulder.
The redhead—the one who had ended the conversation—was staring at Wild in shock.
The pink-haired one, on the other hand, Legend recognized instantly. His head spun; the Chain had only just gotten the means to time travel themselves, how had the Hytopian guy with the friendship tokens-?!
Feeling Legend’s gaze on him, Fox looked up, unnerved, then froze in shock as he came to the same conclusion Legend did.
I know you. You shouldn’t BE here.
Suddenly, the train heaved, throwing everyone out of their seats. The once-smooth ride came to an abrupt halt as the train derailed, skidding across the raw ground with a terrifying SCREECH before grinding to a halt and tilting precariously. Twilight and Wild both scrambled to grab Epona and brace her as the car finally tipped, landing on its side with a crash.
Silence hung in the air for one brief, panic-laced second.
Then, in an instant, the redheaded stranger shoved his companion out the back door and vaulted over the cabin seats, barreling into Wild and leaping for the front door. As Wild was abruptly yanked out of his daze, he spotted the Sheikah Slate in the thief’s hand before the redhead made his escape.
Fox stared at Taps as he ran outside. “What are you doing?!”
“Shut up, I’m focusing!” Taps said, frantically clicking through the slate. “Where is it, this layout is atrocious-”
“Did you just steal the-”
“He had my control slate!”
“They had SWORDS!”
“So do we!” Taps stopped on a screen, and sighed in relief. “Finally!” With a blue flash, he summoned his Divine Beast, wasting no time in clambering on board. “Come on, get on!”
“But my clothes-”
“HEY!”
The two time travelers looked over as Wild emerged from the train car to shame mankind, eyes blazing with fury as he raced towards them.
Fox squeaked in alarm, quickly leaping onto the Divine Beast and clinging to Taps. “Drive, DRIVE!”
Wild did his best to give chase as the duo sped off, but his mortal Hylian legs couldn’t keep up with the ingenuity of Sheikah technology. Before his very eyes, two complete strangers fled into the distance with his Divine Beast.
Tumblr media
Link picked himself up off the ground, clutching his ribs in pain as he raced back towards his toppled train.
He had so many people on board, he had a horse back there. If any of them were hurt—
Without a moment’s thought for himself, he threw the cabin door open. “Is everyone okay?!”
Everyone jolted, reaching for their weapons in panic, when suddenly, there was a yelp of pain from the back seat.
Sky clutched his stung hand as he dropped the Master Sword, staring at the engineer in shock.
“You’re...one of us.”

Summary: Tony works to save Dr. Strange and Y/N. The fugitive Avengers find their way to the compound. (gifs aren’t mine)
Tumblr media
As the alien started guiding the piece of pavement towards the giant circular ship, the cloak that was around Strange tore itself free and flew the piece of pavement away.
“No!” The alien yelled, following after it.
Iron Man and Spider-Man were both fighting off the large alien in the nearby park Tony had crashed into, when the pavement piece flew passed. All Tony could see was the cloak and the alien following, so he knew it was Strange and that he was in trouble.
“Kid, that’s wizard,” Tony told Peter, blocking an attack. “Get on it.”
“On it!” Peter replied, quickly swinging in that direction.
Spider-Man chased after the skinny alien, who was floating speedily and upright on a small platform of burbling debris. Swinging in between the pavement and the alien, Peter tried to tie up the alien. The alien attacked back, throwing a billboard at Spider-Man.
“Not cool!” Peter responded.
The alien bent all the utility poles in the path of the feeing clock, finally snagging the garment and ripping it loose of the pavement. Spider-Man re-arrived on the scene, finally noticing something.
“Uh, Mr. Stark? We have a problem,” Peter’s nervous voice rang over the comms.
“What is is kid?” Tony replied, still fighting off the larger alien. “I’m kinda in the middle—“
“Both the wizard and Miss Rogers are unconscious on the floating piece of road.”
“What?! I’ll be right there!”
Peter swung down to the pavement and stood on it, careful to not step on Strange or Y/N. Bending down, he went to break Y/N free when a cone of blue light began to pull the group upwards. Spider-Man jumped off, grabbing onto the nearest light post while using his webbing to try and keep the piece of pavement in place. The alien quickly uprooted the light post, sending Dr. Strange, the cloak, Y/N, and Peter on their way to the circular ship.
“Uhhh, Mr. Stark?” Peter called again. “I’m being beamed up!”
“Hang on, kid!” Tony responded.
Before Tony could fly over there, the giant alien he was fighting pinned Tony to the ground by his hammer that doubled as a claw. As the giant jumped towards Iron Man, blades ready to end the fight, he was sent through a portal instead. The alien turned and leaped  to return back through the portal, but Wong rapidly closed it and only the giant’s severed hand made its way back to the park. Bruce kicked the hand way with a noise of disgust. Iron Man then shook himself free of the weapon.
“Wong, you’re invited to my future wedding!” Tony exclaimed before beginning to fly towards the large ship. “Give me a little juice, FRIDAY.”
Iron Man’s foot thrusters suddenly morphed together into a single larger thruster, increasing his speed considerably.
Tumblr media
Peter, not being able to keep hold of the pavement piece, was hanging onto the ship as it flew up into space. The alien and the piece of pavement with Strange and Y/N on it, had disappeared into the ship. Tony knew that Peter wasn’t going to be able to hold on or breathe for much longer.
“Unlock 17-A,” Tony ordered FRIDAY. “Pete, you gotta let go. I’m gonna catch you.”
“But you said save the wizard!” Peter responded. Gasping from lack of oxygen, Peter ripped off his mask. “I can’t breathe!”
“You’re too high up. You’re running out of air.”
“Yeah! That makes sense.”
Quickly, Peter passed out, free-falling, but not before the pod Tony had set out reached him. It attached itself to him, becoming a new suit. Now being able to breathe, Spider-Man landed on the bottom part of the ship.
“Mr. Stark, it smells like a new car in here!” Peter commented.
“Happy trails, kid,” Tony replied. “FRIDAY, send him home.”
“Yep,” FRIDAY answered.
A large parachute extended from the new Spider-Man suit, spending him back towards earth.
“Oh, come on!” Peter shouted.
Iron Man latched onto the hull and cut a hole to board the ship, looking for wherever Strange and Y/N were taken.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Boss, I have lifeforms detected in the ship,” FRIDAY informed. “One of them is most likely Agent Rogers.”
“Can you tell me if she’s breathing?”
A pause. “It appears she is.”
“Okay… I need you to—“
“I’m sorry, Boss, but we seem to be losing connection. We’re too far away from—“ Then FRIDAY”s line cut.

“Still no word from Vision?” The holographic image of Secretary Ross asked Rhodey. Rhodey was at the compound, dealing with the red tape.
“Satellites lost him somewhere over Edinburgh,” Rhodey replied.
“On a stolen Quinjet with four of the world's most wanted criminals.”
“You know they're only criminals because you've chosen to call them that, right, sir?”
“My God, Rhodes, your talent for horseshit rivals my own.”
“If it weren't for those Accords, Vision would've been right here.”
“I remember your signature on those papers, Colonel.”
“That's right. And I'm pretty sure I've paid for that.”
“You have second thoughts?”
“Not anymore.”
Suddenly, the fugitive Avengers (Sam, Wanda, Nat, and Steve) entered the room. Vision was being supported by Sam.
Tumblr media
“Mr. Secretary,” Steve greeted, firmly.
“You got some nerve,” Ross said, hologram walking up to the Captain. “I’ll give you that.”
“You could use some of that right now,” Natasha replied.
“The world's on fire. And you think, all is forgiven?”
“I'm not looking for forgiveness. And I'm way past asking for permission,” Steve stated. “Earth just lost her best defender. So we're here to fight.” He took a step towards the hologram. “And if you wanna stand in our way… we’ll fight you too.”
Tumblr media
Ross turned to Rhodes. “Arrest them.”
Tumblr media
“All over it,” Rhodey responded before swiping off the hologram. “That’s a court-martial. It’s great to see you, Cap.”
The two men hugged. “You too, Rhodey,” Steve responded before Natasha went to hug Rhodey.
Tumblr media
“Well. You guys really look like crap. Must've been a rough couple of years.”
“Yeah, well, the hotels weren’t exactly five star,” Sam commented.
“Uh, I think you look great,” Bruce nervously walked in from the opposite end of the room. “Uh… heh… Yeah. I’m back.”
Tumblr media
“Hi, Bruce,” Nat greeted softly.
Tumblr media
“Nat.”
Tumblr media
“This is awkward,” Sam whispered.
Tumblr media
Steve looked around. “Has anyone heard from Y/N?” He asked. “She’d want to know—“
“She’s missing too, Steve,” Bruce interrupted. “When I found Tony to get his help, Y/N was with him.”
“She was… she was with him? But Y/N’s a fugitive as well. How—“
“Mr. Stark and Miss Rogers have been sneaking around,” Vision cut Steve off.
“What?!” Steve and Rhodey exclaimed.
“It’s been happening for about a year now.”
“Miss Rogers has been seeing Boss and Sergeant Barnes,” FRIDAY clarified. “Trying to work through her feelings.”
“Thats… and she never…” Steve was at a loss for words.
“You didn’t try to reach out to her either, Cap,” Sam said. “You even knew she was staying in Wakanda. T’Challa told you. And you refused to reach out.”
“What happened?” Steve asked, looking at Bruce.
“She got captured,” Bruce explained. “Tony went after the ship to protect her and the Time Stone.”
“Why don’t we take this into the other room?” Rhodey suggested. “Perhaps get you guys something to drink.”
They went into the next room over, each standing or sitting around the room. Bruce explained more of what happened and the other group explained what happened to them.
Tumblr media
“So we gotta assume they’re coming back, right?” Rhodey questioned.
“And they can clearly find us,” Wanda added.
“We need all hands on deck,” Bruce stated. “Where’s Clint?”
“After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal,” Nat answered. “It was too tough on their families, they're on house arrest.”
“Who’s Scott?”
“Ant-Man,” Steve replied.
“There's an Ant-Man and a Spider-Man? Okay, look… Thanos has the biggest army in the universe. And he is not gonna stop until he... he gets... Vision's Stone.”
“Well then, we have to protect it,” Nat stated.
“No, we have to destroy it,” Vision said. "I've been giving a good deal of thought to this entity in my head, about its nature. But also, its composition. I think if it were exposed to a sufficiently powerful energy source, something, very similar to its own signature, perhaps… its molecular integrity could fail.”
Tumblr media
“And you, with it,” Wanda said. “We’re not having this conversation.”
“Eliminating the stone is the only way to be certain that Thanos can't get it.”
“That’s too high a price.”
Vision took Wanda’s face gently with both hands. “With Y/N off world, only you have the power to pay it.” Wanda walked away, distressed. “Thanos threatens half the Universe. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him.”
“But it should,” Steve said, looking at Vision. “We don’t trade lives, Vision.”
“Captain, 70 years ago, you laid down your life to save how many millions of people. Tell me, why is this any different?”
Tumblr media
“Because you might have a choice,” Bruce suggested. “Your mind is made up of a complex construct of overlays. JARVIS, Ultron, Tony, me, the Stone. All of them mixed together. All of them learning from one another.”
“You’re saying Vision isn’t just the Stone?” Wanda asked.
Tumblr media
“I'm saying that if we take out the Stone, there's still a whole lot of Vision left. Perhaps the best parts.”
“Can we do that?” Nat wondered.
“Not me. Not here.”
“You better find someone, and somewhere fast,” Rhodey said. “Ross isn't exactly just gonna let you guys have your old rooms back.”
“I know somewhere,” Steve stated. “Wakanda. But someone first has to explain how Y/N has anything to do with the Stone.”
Tumblr media
“70 years ago, the Tesseract chose her to be the protector of the Stones,” Vision explained, knowing the story due to housing the Mind Stone in his head. “That’s how she survived the fall. The Tesseract holds the Space Stone. Her powers come for each of the Stones, so she has the power to destroy the Stones, by channeling them. Y/N is able to wield and control the all the Stones.”
“What I showed her…” Wanda said quietly. “It was the Stone… Y/N’s the key to stopping Thanos.”
~~~
T’Challa already knew Y/N was missing before Steve had contacted him. With Okoye and two other guards, he made his way to Bucky’s place. Bucky was throwing bags onto a partly-filled car, being watched by two village children.
“You’ll have the Kingsgaurd, and the Dora Milaje have been alerted,” Okoye told T’Challa as they made their way towards Bucky’s small hut.
“And the Border Tribe?” T’Challa wondered.
“Those that are left.”
“Send word to the Jabari as well. M’Baku likes a good fight.”
“And what of this one?” Okoye looked at Bucky, just down the hill.
“This one may be tired of war. But the White Wolf has rested long enough.”
They made their way to Bucky. The guards set an elaborate and high-tech looking case down on the cart. They opened the lid to reveal the black and gold vibranium arm that Bucky had worn on Valentine’s Day.
Bucky sighed. “Where’s the fight?” He asked.
Tumblr media
“On its way,” T’Challa answered. “And, Barnes…” The King glanced over at Okoye. “There’s something else. It’s about Y/N.”
Bucky was immediately alert. “What is it?”
“She’s missing.”
~~~
Dr. Strange was floating horizontally, face down, surrounded by dozens of long, glassy needles, as the alien interrogated him. Y/N was still unconscious, tied to the pavement off to the side.
“In all the time I’ve served Thanos, I’ve never failed him,” the alien told Dr. Strange. “If I were to reach our rendezvous on Titan with the Time Stone still attached to your vaguely irritating person, there would be... judgement.” The needles began to contact Dr. Strange’s face, causing pain. “Give me… the Stone.”
Tony was watching, hiding from above. After receiving a tap on the arm, Tony turned around, hand up and ready to shoot. Tony stood stand after seeing that it was the cloak.
“Wow, you’re a seriously loyal piece of outerwear, aren’t you?” Tony commented.
Tumblr media
“Yeah, un speaking of loyalty…”
Tony and the cloak turn, completely shocked, to see Peter dropping down from above.
Tumblr media
“What the—“
Tumblr media
“I know what you’re gonna say,” Peter interrupted, holding his hands out.
“You should not be here,” Tony stated.
Tumblr media
“I was gonna go home—“
“I don’t wanna hear it.”
Tumblr media
“But it was such a long way down and I just thought about you and Y/N on the way—”
“And now I gotta hear it.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“—and I kinda stuck to the side of the ship. And this suit is ridiculously intuitive, by the way. So if anything, it’s kinda your fault that I’m here.”
Tumblr media
Both the cloak and Tony looked shocked, again. “What did you just say?”
Tumblr media
“I take that back. And now I’m here in space.”
“Yeah.” Tony went to stand right in front of Peter. “Right where I don’t want you to be. This isn’t Coney Island. This isn't a field trip. It's a one-way ticket. You hear me? Don't pretend like you thought this through. You could not have possibly thought this through.”
Tumblr media
"No. I did think this through.”
“You could not have possibly thought this through.”
“It's just .. you can't be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man if there's no neighborhood.” Peter waited to get something from Tony, but nothing. “Okay. That didn't really make any sense, but you know what I'm trying to say.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tony let out a shaky breath. “Come on. We got a situation.”
Tumblr media
Tony led Peter over to where they could see Dr. Strange, Y/N, and the alien. Peter crouched down to study the situation and the cloak leaned over his shoulder.
“See him down there?” Tony pointed to Dr. Strange. “He’s in trouble. And Y/N laying over there as well. What’s your plan? Go.”
“Um. Okay, okay… uh…” Peter stuttered, trying to think. He and the cloak popped back upright. “Okay. Did you ever see this really old movie, Aliens?”
~~~
Meanwhile, the Stones were talking to an unconscious Y/N.
“You can’t stop what’s coming… it will come, no matter what. You are being saved for the final battle… we will stop you from doing anything to prevent what needs to happen. What’s supposed to happen… someday, you will understand. There are things meant to be learned, things meant to happen, that we will not let you stop… use your powers wisely.”
She gasped quietly, waking up. Y/N quickly studied her surroundings. She could feel the Time Stone close before she noticed the predicament Dr. Strange was in. The glass spikes were pressing into Strange’s skin, causing him to let out a groan.
“Painful, aren’t they?” The alien taunted. Ebony Maw, the name was, Y/N finally getting inside his head. “They were originally designed for microsurgery. And any one of them—“
There was a thump behind Maw, he turned to see Iron Man standing there. Tony’s hand repulsers were ready to fire. Y/N closed her eyes and focused on getting out of the utility ropes without making a big scene.
“—could end your friend’s life in an instant,” Maw continued.
“I gotta tell you, he’s not really my friend,” Tony responded. “Saving his life is more a professional courtesy.”
“Ah, yes. It’s the girl you’re really after.” Maw walked slowly towards Iron Man, beckoning very large metal objects to float behind him. “Too bad you’ve saved nothing. Your powers are inconsequential compared to mine.”
“Yeah, but the kid’s seen more movies.”
Iron Man fired a rocket from his shoulder which pierces the side of the ship to Maw’s right and began to suck everything out with depressurization, including Y/N. She quickly portaled herself to behind Tony, relieving herself from the binds. Maw was sucked out into space quickly. Dr. Strange was pulled loose of his bindings and the needles, also heading for the hole. The cloak quickly wrapped around Dr. Strange, trying to keep him inside. Strange and the cloak lost their grip, but Spider-Man shot a web strand, holding him in place. Or trying to.
The web broke, sending both Strange and Peter towards space. Suddenly, Peter’s suit releases metal spider-like arms, keeping him from being sucked out. Y/N quickly portaled Strange behind her.
“Yes!” Peter shouted, looking at the metal arms. “Wait, what are those?!”
Using the metal arms, Peter leaped to get to a safer place. Tony quickly sprayed nano-particles onto the hole to plug it. Spider-Man landed on his new legs, quickly retracted them. He found the cloak hovering next to him.
“Hey, we haven’t officially met,” Peter said, offering the cloak his hand. It ignored it, going straight to Strange. “Cool.”
Tony’s suit quickly disappeared back into the arc reactor as he rushed to Y/N. He grabbed onto her arms, examining her body for any injuries.
“Are you alright? Are you hurt?” He asked. Tony’s hands found a place on her cheeks. “Tell me you’re—“
“I’m fine, Tony,” she responded. “I’m fine.”
He gave her a kiss before pulling her in for a hug. “I was so worried.”
“I’m fine.” She hugged him back, breathing him in. “I’m fine.”
“We’ve gotta turn this ship around,” Strange stated.
“Yeah. Now he wants to run,” Tony replied. “Great plan.”
“No, I want to protect the Stone.”
Tony walked towards the front window, showing that they were speeding. “And I want you to thank me now. Go ahead, I’m listening.”
“For what? Nearly blasting me into space?”
“Who just saved your magical ass? Me.”
“Technically it was me,” Y/N added.
“I seriously don’t know how you fit your head into that helmet,” Strange scoffed.
“Admit it. You should have ducked out when I told you to,” Tony continued. “I tried to bench you. You refused.”
“I tried to bench your girlfriend, yet she refused as well. And, unlike everyone else in your life, I don’t work for you.”
“And due to that fact, we’re now in a flying doughnut billions of miles away from Earth with no backup.”
“I’m backup,” Peter said, raising his hand.
“No. You’re a stowaway.” Tony pointed his finger between himself and Strange. “The adults are talking.”
“I’m sorry, I’m confused as to the relationship here,” Strange said. “Wh—what is he, your ward?”
“No,” Peter responded. “I’m Peter, by the way.”
“Dr. Strange.”
“Oh, we're using our made-up names. Um... I'm Spider-Man, then."
“Peter,” Y/N muttered, rolling her eyes.
“This ship is self-correcting its course,” Tony stated. “Thing’s on autopilot.”
“Can we control it?” Strange asked, walking closer to Tony. “Fly us home.”
Tony, looking out in space, was lost in bad memories. Of going through the portal, of what Wanda showed him.
“Tony?” Y/N called softly, stepping towards him. She was concerned.
“Yeah?” He responded. He met her gaze briefly, quickly looking away cause it was not the time for him to be freaking out or for her to be reading him.
“Can you get us home?” Strange asked.
“Yeah. I heard you. I’m thinking… I’m not so sure we should.”
“What?” Y/N questioned. “Why?”
“Under no circumstance can we bring the Time Stone to Thanos,” Strange stated. “I don't think you quite understand what's at stake here.”
Tony talked over to Strange. “No. It's you who doesn't understand, that Thanos has been inside my head for six years since he sent an army to New York and now he's back! And I don't know what to do. Because I am not sacrificing Y/N for the sake of the universe, for whatever the Stones have told her is her destiny. So I'm not so sure if it's a better plan to fight him on our turf or his but you saw what they did, what they can do. At least on his turf, he's not expecting it. So I say we take the fight to him. Doctor. Do you concur?”
Tumblr media
Strange was silent for a moment. “Alright, Stark. We go to him. But you have to understand... if it comes to saving you or the kid or the Time Stone... I will not hesitate to let either of you die. I can't, because the fate of the universe depends on it.”
“Nice. Good. Moral compass. We're straight.” Tony stepped over to Peter, formally tapping each of Peter’s shoulders. “Alright kid. You’re an Avenger now.”
“You skipped me,” Y/N said, walking up to Strange.
“Excuse me?” He questioned.
“You said that if it came between saving Tony, Peter, or the Time Stone, that you’d choose the Time Stone… but what about me?”
“You and I both know, Y/N, that the Stones will not let you die until you have completed what they need you for. No matter what that may be.”
