4 photo studies (and one junkertown-ish landscape thingie) i did for last years christmas calendar (for my dad <3)

had some fun with these but i also realized while drawing landscapes concepts is nice and all, trying to color them correctly is HELL, hence the junkertown thing is in gray scales with fucked up tones...

i’m having a project in mind with a theme (for the junkers) and i might re-use some of these, rly don’t know yet... we might see

There's a version of the "don't go grocery shopping while hungry" rule specifically for writers where you should never under any circumstances be allowed to touch your draft within 3 hours of reading a really good story. Because sometimes when you read something great your head goes "fuck this is so much better than my stuff I should make that more like THIS instead!" Look at me. That's the devil talking and you should close the document NOW.

Be in the present. Live like everyday is your last. And cherish the ones you care for the most. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. Materials can be gone in a blink. The trivial things you thought yesterday you aren't concerned with now. So enjoy life. Even the littlest of things in life. Embrace it. Accept that things will and can change. You'll be better off that way knowing that if you start loving others like you love yourself and not caring about trivial and material things it all makes sense.

Live your life. Yolo is true. And the future isn't guaranteed to last forever. Live and love yourself and others. And stick to principles that help others and yourself long term.

one of my favorite Percy headcanons is that even after he no longer has the Curse of Achilles, the small of his back is still his Achilles' Heel. It won't kill him but it's still his weakest point.

Like, he hates if anybody even brushes against there unless it's Annabeth because it's too sensitive and it basically physically hurts him. He has to be the little spoon Always because it makes him feel like his back is protected. If anyone hits him in the small of his back even without a lot of force, like a friendly slap on the back, he will crumple like wet paper. His friends poke him in the small of his back just cause every time he will immediately stumble and start complaining at them and they find it funny. If someone actually smacks him in the back with any amount of real force he will be on the ground immediately and stay there. If he gets actually scratched there he will be bedridden for days. The curse may be gone but he will always carry it with him.

For those who don't have Twilight Princess but would like to know:

The move Twilight performed while fighting Dink is called the helm splitter. It's one of the Hidden Skills that the Hero's Shade, aka Time (but as a skeleton oof) taught him

This move is often an instant kill. It is harder against Lizalfos, so the goal is to quickly turn around and deliver a slash. He lands with his back to the enemy- which made Dink grab him from behind (and bit Twi's arm ouch). But it's one of the most powerful moves Shade taught him- he practically ripped out Dink's shoulder.

One of the art screenshots is not Lu, but art Jojo did of shade teaching him to do it. (Can confirm it was terrifying- bro stopped the blade an inch from Twi's head- after telling him it's called the helm splitter)
