I don’t usually share random thoughts like this but idk, it’s Tumblr, anything seems to go here.

I’m someone who is highly sensitive and I find repetitive sounds or just a lot of loud sounds in general to be overstimulating. And with Christmas and gatherings, it’s hard to not go absolutely crazy with all the conversations overlapping and crinkling of people unwrapping gifts and the clinking of cutlery and people showing random videos on their phone with the sound blaring and and and—

Idk, I’m just glad I know I’m HSP so I know that when I get overwhelmed and overstimulated, I know hiding in my room and being in a quiet space will help.

TLDR; Christmas and HSP is a funky combo but hiding away helps. ✨ Also, plz treat your HSP friends with care. 💕
