𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 - is young jensen a warning? 

𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 - at your sister's wedding, you catch eyes with a teen x jensen after years of not seeing him. the feeling is like lightning in a bottle where you know sparks are flying between the both of you but because of how many people are around, you two both have to hold back before you two are able to be alone together. 

𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦 - i've already done one teen x jensen chapter before and i loved it so i want to do it again and the next time i'll do a young jared as i also love young jared baha!

rachael never expected to see the green-eyed blonde best friend of hers that she hadn't seen since he left for california in her eyeline whilst she talked to a different friend of hers. especially when this "reunion" happened at the wedding of her older sister and now brother-in-law. not that rachael hated that jensen decided to surprise her, it just shocked her that he had even known about her sister's wedding. the thing was, due to jensen coming in from in front of rachael, whilst talking to her friend, she got easily distracted. 

the moment rachael had noticed jensen, it seemed as if all she could focus on was jensen. it was very rude and disheartening from her friend kurt's standpoint, the friend she was talking with. but, she had known jensen way longer than she knew kurt. she and jensen were childhood best friends whereas kurt was a friend she met at the university of texas. who, in honesty, could never be better than jensen. rachael was always going to get distracted by her childhood best friend, even if it was her parents that were in the middle of talking to, it's not just something that was only happening to kurt. 

"...rachael, are you even listening to me?" kurt brings rachael out of her daze with a snap in front of her face plus his loud voice 

"i...i am so sorry kurt but i...can...can we catch up later? i...i've just seen someone else that i didn't even realise was coming to the wedding..." rachael slowly started bringing her voice to a whisper as she moved further from kurt and closer to jensen whose face went back from a downcast look to his signature smile again 

stepping back slightly, catching eyes was jensen was something she had never thought possible after he had left for los angeles to pursue acting whilst rachael stayed in texas for college. the smile on his face caused her to start smiling again and running slightly to get to jensen quicker. 

"...jensen?!" she whispered as she got closer to her best friend, he also started to get excited, his arms opening for the hug he had been waiting too long for 

"rachael," he whispered softly as they went in for that long-awaited hug as rachael scoffed out a shocked light - hugging him as tight as she'd ever hugged anyone

"wha...how? what are you doing here? not that...not that i'm not happy that you're here, i am but just...how...how?!" rachael rambled as jensen just smiled before placing his finger in front of her mouth 

"ssh, rach, come with me. i think it's best if we do this in private..." 

"...jensen? oh my gosh, jensen! i haven't seen you in ages!" just before the two teens could escape from rachael's sister's wedding, her older sister reese rushed over 

"hi...hi reese...um, congratulations on your wedding!" jensen gulped, reese was known to be quite abrasive and all up in people's business and personal space when it didn't involve her or when she wasn't needed or wanted 

"thank you so much! besides, what...what are you doing here?" reese questioned, seemingly a lot more excited to see jensen than her own sister and that kind of rubbed jensen the wrong way

"oh...i...um, i decided to take a break from la whilst rachael is home from college for a bit to catch up and see her again..." jensen smiled nervously which made the butterflies in rachael's tummy go wild - he came back home to see rachael because she was home 

"oh...oh, okay then...i...i'll just leave you two to it then...oh, rachael, didn't see you there squirt, catch you later," 

reese genuinely seemed sad that jensen didn't come for her but to actually catch up with her younger sister. except, she knew she didn't want to make a big deal about it because whilst she could be abrasive and in people's space, she'd never go to the length of a bridezilla or a karen. 

"hello to you too, reese," rachael smiled, feeling slightly awkward as reese still hadn't made a move, quickly realising though as she then rushed off to either find her new husband or her and rachael's shared mother 

the second reese was far away, the two teenagers started to giggle as they then grabbed each other's hands and rushed away out of the wedding venue, both teenagers having their drivers license. they both wanted to catch up with as much privacy as they could considering the popularity jensen was now getting since moving to la. 

"so...you really came back home because you knew i was on break from college?" rachael started the conversation as they sat almost on top of each other in jensen's new car with the california license plate 

"yeah...yeah, i...i did. i really missed you so i...i decided that once you were back home from college that i'd take that as some time and drive back down to texas to visit the family and you, obviously," jensen spoke nervously, making it unbelievably obvious that he has a crush on her as rachael smiled 

rachael wasn't able to control the red blush that flushed her cheeks that made her face heat up to the max, "i missed you too jensen. i was wondering when you were going come back home," rachael smiled as she fiddled around with the rings that lay on jensen's fingers 

she then noticed the one she had given to him, she didn't know that he still wore it, "hold on, you...you still wear that?" rachael then questioned after paying closer attention to the rings on jensen's finger as he smiled and nodded his head 

"of course i do, i've never taken it off since you gave it to me for my birthday..." jensen trailed off shyly 

for context, for jensen's eighteenth birthday, rachael had bought him a crystal blue ring and then for rachael's eighteenth, jensen bought her a crystal green ring because rachael's eyes are blue and jensen's are green. it was so they would never forget each other after they moved away from each other, jensen to california to start his acting career and rachael to austin, texas for college. 

"...i've never taken mine off either..." rachael whispered, inching closer and closer to her best friend 

jensen didn't need anymore clues to find out that rachael also wanted their friendship to be escalated into a relationship so that's what he did. with the classic, i will always love you, by whitney houston playing from reese and her husband's wedding in the background. 

"...i love you so much rachael, you'll always be the reason i come back home..."
