something about anger as a force for good in skyblock kingdoms. fire as cleansing. Fool is angry and he sets parts of OSSHA ablaze, Avid returns to Limbo and tries to burn it all down.
maybe it doesn't work immediately. but maybe sometimes you have to push forward anyway. spite isn't a great reason to keep going, but it's better than giving up entirely.
you use what you have. sometimes what you have is fuel for a fire.
I saw drawfee鈥檚 announcement yesterday, and honestly I鈥檓 glad they鈥檙e letting themselves take it easy. I鈥檝e been so impressed for the past four years at the amount of content they put out per week (2 ~40 minute videos, 2 hr live stream, patreon bonus content), but it鈥檚 also been worrying when they would occasionally mention how swamped with work they are. I mean I can only imagine the all the extra time that we don鈥檛 see that goes into behind the scenes stuff (rendering, editing, planning, business stuff, merch stuff, etc). I would much rather have a little less content so that the show can continue, be its best, and they can be healthy. Like I鈥檝e really missed the speed draws. I love seeing the whole process, hearing how they made artistic decisions, and having more time to appreciate the renders, but those videos take more time to make. I would love to see them be able to take that time. Plus, I feel like with any content creators you can tell when they鈥檙e not having a good time with whatever they鈥檙e doing, and it鈥檚 way more fun to watch someone who鈥檚 enjoying themselves. It鈥檚 counterproductive to want quantity over quality. I just wanted to post something supportive since I feel like it鈥檚 hard for creators to make these kinds of decisions.
the fact the sentence "life is short, but also like terribly and insuferably long at the the same time" comes from a jenna marbles video where she wants to be a toothbrush for halloween will never not be funny to me
i can't make a "we already have a Minecraft movie and it's called [series]" post because it would devolve into a whole-ass crash course on MCYT/MCRP as a genre including multiple named sections on different unique aspects of the medium and the watchlist would be several full weeks long
I feel bad that I haven't been able to deliver on some post I've promised because life has been hectic lately, so I wanted to share a learning resource in the meantime~
Mandarin Melon (and her second channel for shorts!)
I really love her videos and find that they're a great resource for how to speak in a casual, natural manner. The video I linked below is great for learning common phrases鈥攏ot simple phrases! It's not about how to say "Hello", but how to say phrases that are common in conversation like "Thanks anyway!" or "Fingers crossed!"

Also, I really love her video production. Her editing is really eye-catching without being distracting and improves so much from video to video!
