Oh my god, in terms of Cal and Merrin keeping in touch over the years, I view it more as like old email/messenger days where it's very sporadic and they can go months without sending anything then they have this short exchange out of nowhere cause they happen to be on at the same time like, "Still alive?" "Yup." "Cool beans."

I can see Merrin sending Cal random jokes from time to time or maybe even little facts she's learning during her travels, "Did you know Naboo Gungans live underwater?" "No shit? That's badass."

I can definitely see Cal just casually sending something like, "Cut off a Wampa's arm today. Hope you're doing well."

It'd be hysterical if they sent random pictures to each other with no context like a random landscape of whatever planet their on, a pic of their food, Cal sending some nerdy picture of a new addition he added to his lightsaber, Merrin trolling him with a picture of a poncho shop she found...etc. but again, very sporadically.

"JeJe's Matters" could be the one I put my full focus on, one of my important projects at this point.

For a short recap:

JeJe is a clown-shaped 7-10-year-old girl who is being introduced as a guide of a 2000s education animated program called "𝓙𝓮𝓙𝓮'𝓼 𝓜𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼" meant for kids. But the program could be barely a big mystery due to how it appeared all of a sudden without a specific source, only a CD that was sent one day in the mail to someone by mistake or sort of, and eventually the person had dug into the mysterious program researching the history of the making and the character "JeJe" and all.

If I could put a name to a "multifandom" kind of art content I would say, this is the right name for it.

Imagine that you're home, sitting safe and sound on your couch watching TV with your hands holding a cheesy toast, not to mention...awkwardly surrounded by multiple fictional characters that somehow used to live and interact with you easily at your mansion as if it's a very normal life of yours? Yup! The whole idea of this content is this, a life with an artist adopting (mostly taking care of) fictional characters from different media sources in her own apartment.

It's only a silly idea that I like so much, as I was feeling it's so real. You'll see more of this content in the blog, and other pieces of information about the storylines (if we consider that it actually exists, Har. Har.)

With the multifandom content I create, I surely put my fan art of my favorite media characters.

Be sure that I'm the type of artist who draws both "cute/comfort" and "gore/horror/analog", so you'll expect a lot from me.

I'll also put some of my original characters and Introduce them, so they can be a part of the blog too.

Disclaimer: this is not really show related but queer pirates related. Also, I’m neither a historian nor a social scientist and fairly recently started to see certain things differently, such as historical erasure.

I’m reading a book by Rebecca Simon, ‘The Pirates’ Code. Laws and Life Aboard Ship’.

Of all things it features Stede Bonnet’s flag on the cover:

Normally I am quite open to author’s views and interpretations. But with this book I have a very strange feeling.

It’s not really that well written to be honest, but it contains a lot of various sources which I wouldn’t find on my own. I mean, that’s why read books: someone compiled stuff in a coherent way, enjoy getting new knowledge.

Here and there the author mentions that some evidences and sources are most probably fictionalised. Like with pirates’ flags for example. Okay, yup, fair, thanks for pointing that out. BUT THEN I get to Sex, Sexuality and Relationships chapter.

Where the author says, yeah, homosexuality, close relationships and romance existed among pirates, and then explains it with ‘tight quarters with no privacy and no women lead to sexual tension’ and ‘the preferred sexual partners were younger boys who were on the crew’. I don’t think pirates were some magical sparkly unicorns but they were most certainly humans who are capable of human feelings.

In the bit about Anne Bonny and Mary Read the author insists that it is ‘extremely unlikely that they were in a romantic and sexual relationship’ because they ‘were married to men on the ship and were pregnant at the time of their trial.’ What? Why is it unlikely?

There are other smaller bits which look fine but leave you with this feeling that the author tries really hard to blur some things, unnecessarily so.

And in the end, there’s this rather weird bit in the first pages of this chapter:

same I hate how making c!Dream so one dimensional and boring ends up making his connections with other characters and those parts of said characters more boring I think my number one example of it would be c!Ranboo isn't it more interesting to think about why he would do this or believe this and how this reflects on his relationships with others than just saying yup he's manipulated and he doesn't know any better and that's all

👆 c!Ranboo is much more intriguing for me as a character when I get to wonder 1) if he's working with Dream based on their shared ideas 2) what lead him to develop those ideas in the first place 3) why he believes in Dream's plan enough to be willing to hurt his close friends for it 4) what his and Dream's dynamic is like, how much trust is in it etc. etc.

Idk if you know Spy x Family...there's a scene there in one of the early episodes that the family roleplayed a scene from bondman(a series in the anime) because anya want it- so Remember when (the witch - Yor's role) Yor battled (bondman - loid's role) Loid there because she thinks he's stealing Anya aka the princess away from her (she was drunk)

So uh

Imagine The darlings dolls wanted to make a scene similar to that (but mayoi doesn't want to but has no choice but be the princess of the show)- you pick which is the person who's gonna be in loid's position. MC is the witch ofc and drunk 💀- so ya MC is like "WHO DARES TAKE AWAY MY MAYOI" and I can HIGHLY see MC has some moves 😩👆 but I wanna think since the person playing as bondman is a doll of theirs, idk why I see MC after almost making them pass out is like "oh it's y-you! *Hic* l-l-look *hic* someone is stealing away my m-mayoi from me and I need your h-help *hic* *cries*" or just pass out

Aha small fun fact about My MC: she's strong and lil Buffy so I kinda see her as that

"woah spy x family is really good. HOW L-O-V-E-L-Y!!" aira commented after a long marathon of watching spy x family. They started at afternoon now it's almost late at night. They repeated it many times.

"Ye, yor really a dupe assassin!" Kohaku nodded his head as he like to see show with cool assassin in it. Through the theme is not as dark as usual show with such character, it's pretty fun to watch.

"LOID AND YOR FIGHT IS SO COOL! I WANNA SEE IT IN REAL LIFE!" aira eyes sparkle at the thought of seeing fighting scene like that.

"Hmm! Hmm! Ya, me too!" Kohaku can't agree more. "Hmm, maybe we should play it! Like role play! But who would our cast be?" Aira stare at everyone, seeing no one is willing to take part of it. He sigh in disappointment--

"I swear rinrin... I'm not going to d-drag your ass home n-next time-- *hic.." from the front door, two drunk people walk in.

"mcchi! Welcome back!" Aira went to you to greet you and notice your drunkness. " MCCHI are you legal enough to even drink?"

"*Hic... who knows... *Hic... It's not like underage never drink alcohol... T-they just hide it..." You then walk to the coach and particularly throw rinne to the empty sofa. "Bitch your heavy." You complain as you seat on top of rinne's back. "hmmp... *Hic..."

"oh! How you *hic... hurt me! *Hic... It's called mm..puurrr....eee..muscle.*hic." Rinne groan as he hit the soft sofa and feeling you seating on top of him.

"chair doesn't talk." You utter as you cross your legs and look at double aira who just run from the kitchen back to the lobby and kohaku who look at Rinne in disapproval and disappointment. ... And floating upside down mayoi on the ceiling. "... You... Guys wanna play a role play?" You heard their chat before you enter the room.

"yup! We were watching spy x family! We wanna see it in real life. LOID vs yor!" Aira who offer you some water.

"T-thanks..." You mumble as you drink it. But still drunk in your system. "I can play Yor if you want." You giggle.

"Ehh... But I wanna play Yor. Cause assassin..." Kohaku mumble with a pout.

"Sure~ you wanna wear a dress and heels too?" You giggle at the thought of double kohaku wearing dress.

"i--.... I'll play Loid instead then." Hearing the drawback of the casting of yor. Kohaku decided to be the one who'll play bondman.

"Ahaha... Mk... Then mayoi could be princess ùwú." You point at the floating upside down mayoi.

'sorry kohakuchi' he thought excitedly at the next scene.

"S-STEAL...?!" your eyes is seeing red when you hear that world.

"mayoi-san don't ruined the play please." Aira shut up mayoi before he can stop you from fighting.

"WHO'S GOING TO STEAL MAYOI FROM ME!!!???"you yelled in anger as you look at the bondman with pink hair. "IS IT YOU?*HIC..." You questioned.

"yes Its me--'" before kohaku could say more you already send a hand chop at his nape but since his a doll, he don't have a pressure point, hence he cannot be unconscious like usual human.

"???!!!!" But he show felt your pressure and strength on him when you attack.

"... Oh." Your eyes turn dark. When you realize the bondman won't get knock out in simple attack. "Only dolls would be like this..." You mumble

"cause I am one--"kohaku sarcastically says as the play went down hill yet the two of you still play along but with your own twist.

He then disappear in front of you to run toward where aira and Mayoi is, to get the so called princess and end this play.

"shall I cut your threads?" You chuckle darkly as you pull out scissors from your pocket. Your mind is both drunk and not in the right thought. You turn slowly at kohaku who pause as he look at you in worry.

"Kokoko... Let's see if ya can do so mchan.." interested to see of your fighting style with so called upper hand of yours. He smiled awaiting your next move.

You grip hold of your scissor before you smirk and run toward kohaku, having the scissors in a stabbing position toward the upper shoulder where one of knot(DD pressure point) is, you went for a dislocation of thread connected of both shoulder and arms.

But kohaku manage to dodge in the last moment by dropping down and rolling to the side, he then send a kick to your side but you grip on his leg, you giggle looking down at kohaku.

"You should learn more than do such seen through move..." You raise your hand holding the scissor and was about to remove the knot in the knee cup.

"ya are open!" He twist his body to send his free leg to kick you instead, unable to see such move you were hit in the side.

"Agh... *Hic..." You hiccups as you felt your side being hurt. But still holding on kohaku other leg.

"MCAREYOUOK?!" The princess run toward you in worry but he seems to unable to handle the lace of sharing of drunk state from you, he tripped out of nothing.

"...*sob..." He cried in embarrassment. 'so uncool' he thought.

"...WHO MADE MAYOI CRY!??!" you forget the pain and throw kohaku like a doll to the sofa where Rinne is before running toward mayoi.

"guhh... Agh... What the hell.." rinne mumble as he felt something is thrown at him. "K-kohakuchi!?" aira looks surprised to see kohaku somehow return to his doll form.

"Man... MC-Han that's not fair!" If kohaku is in his human form, he could be seen pouting but he only cross his doll limbs in sadge state.

Since your kohaku's dollmaker, you could always make them turn back to being dolls, you never did this to any of the dolls you made but seeing Mayoi crying state made you lost your reasoning (as if there's one) and ended the fight by turning the opponent to someone unable to continue.

He pat his head and continue to glare at the phantom who slowly approaches You without you noticing because your looking at a black-blue butterfly that just enter the house, late at night and flatter into your finger.

"The color remind me of Mayoi eyes and hair." You mumble looking at the beautiful butterfly, it felt odd as if it can understand you and you giggle and give the nice butterfly a pat in the head with your pinky.

"Mayoi don't cry! Sorry!" You quickly apologize. "I won't drink if it makes you cry!" You have very odd sense of thoughts. You would give up your liking if it makes Mayoi cry.

"R-really...?" His face light up. He quickly discarded the bottle which is snatch away by a certain older Amagi who drink a mouthful at that very moment and left the kitchen after having enough watching drama in it.

"I... I made you some sweets! I thought you would want to eat something if you just want to fill your stomach with something!" He quickly take out his homemade marzipan and macaroons.

".... You could say sooner! Uwuw!" You quickly takes a bite of the rare sweets that is made by Mayoi while your enjoying your sweet, the door slam open and very angry panda-- Niki appear and saw what happened to his paradise!

"You..." He point at the two of you before you all been thrown out and get snatch haft of the sweets as punishment for messing around his kitchen.

"Ahaha..." The two of you laugh as you seat against the kitchen door. Enjoying such moment together.

"HELLPPPP! MC!!! MMMCC!" Hinata screams hopelessly in the void after Mayoi throw them back to the space where other Haunted doll souls that lay in dormant state, still unable to find their own consciousness like the twins

"UWAHHH! MAYOI-SAN IS A BOOLY! WAIT TILL MC KNOW ABOUT THIS!" Hinata stamp his feet. Through the reason they both here because they play a prank on MC and made her even more drunk that night.

"Brother! Let's tell MC once we're out!" Yuuta grin and Hinata look at his brother and he too grin like a Cheshire cat. "Hehehehehe~" they both giggle so evilly.

"Aww!" suddenly they both lost balance and landed on the fluffy souls of haunted dolls and accidentally hit a certain Black-Red haunted doll, earning a grumble from it.

"Oh shit--" they both look alarm.

"Wait isn't that R-- UWAAAH IT BITE ME!" Hinata screams as the Vampire like haunted doll bite his arm.

"GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! IT'S SUCKING ME DRY!" Hinata cried out as Yuuta tried to remove the Haunted doll soul from trying to suck his big brother dry of energy that made him stay in his human form and turn him back to his doll self!

" Yum...*Barf." The haunted doll stops when Hinata is almost been suck dry and let go in its own and went back to hibernating.

"OHGOTT! MAYOI! PHANTOM! ONE OF THE SOULS WAKE UP!" they both hugs each other in fright as they try to reach out for Mayoi to let them out but their calls all went to a deaf ears as Mayoi is too busy with you at the moment.
