Never in television history have I seen an entrance better than this one. The flag as a cape, the obvious call back to “You can’t spell America without Erica”. The fact that she is 11 and went to the Hellfire Club and stared Eddie Munson’s dumbass down like it was nothing. HER NAILS!!!  I haven’t seen anything about her yet and she deserves recognition.

steve harrington and eddie munson are actually a nightmare together outside of life or death situations because i subscribe to the belief that they would both hear and laugh at the word "penetrate" until one is crying and the other throws up

they feed off of each others chaotic and opposite energy and they're a disaster together.

they can also be found at 3:42 a.m. discussing the meaning of life, what happens to humans when they die, why pride and prejudice and the hobbit & lord of the rings are the greatest literary works known to man, and where the wind goes after it blows.

they feed off of each others calm and steady energy, the intelligence that is there and is often over looked.

my point is put steve and eddie into a room together and you never know what you'll get, but i assure you it will be good.

Yuri Plisetsky from Yuri on Ice has Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and ADHD

Legolas from the Lord of the Rings has dyslexia and Cerebral Palsy

Atsushi Murasakibara from Kuroko's Basketball is autistic and has ARFID and Marfan's. He also has chronic pain due his frame and overworking at a young age. He is also depressed.

Yuuri Katsuki from Yuri on Ice has anxiety, panic disorder and binge eating disorder (these are not directly stated, but likely canon) I also hc him as autistic and having chronic migraines

THE INFAMOUS YOI TWITTER ICE ADOLESCENCE FIC HAS BEEN POSTED ON AO3 GO READ IT HERE GO GO GO GO GO

essentially, the yoitwt ice adolescence fic is a death-bed retelling of 17 yo victor's cross universe rescue mission with hatsune miku and the lorax to save yuuri katsuki (who is from ten years in the future) from the onceler. i wrote most of the skating sequence and victor's youth (pt. 1 and 2) and im actually lowkey proud of the shenanigans i accomplished. thank you to the 10 other people who helped write/edit so we could post this without it being a complete dumpster fire.

also here's some art i did for it. because i literally could not contain myself.

here's the design i did for victor's free skate costume. he loves the lorax. and hatsune miku. i really don't know how to explain it out of context.

concept of the luka and chris scene. some details not in the fic we discussed (in the discord server for it) were floating victor nikiforov because we realized we never wrote him taking off his skates or putting on skate guards and we didn't want him to damage his blades so. he floats. and also hatsune miku varies in height from scene to scene. she's seven feet tall here. and bonus chris wearing a girl boss crop top. honestly you need the context for this too.

and finally here's an emotional support kool aid man for one grieving yuuri katsuki post victor's death due to ligma??? this one is uh. you also need the context. honestly you need context for all of this. this entire post. the entire fic. it's just. one big inside joke.

denki and hanta are not very good at staying upright on rollerskates . hanta is way better on roller blades & usually breaks his out if he knows they’re going

katsuki is actually pretty good. he’s very fluid with his motions but you can tell he doesn’t do it very often

eijirou is only able to skate in straight lines :) if he tries to move any other way he’s doing the splits & lemme tell u mans is Not Flexible

flexibility rating: 1. hanta; 2. mina & denki (tied and both equally flexible but in different ways); 3. katsuki; 4. eijirou

eiji wants to hold your hand please and thank you!! he will tell u stories abt his moms taking him skating when he was a kid, although it was usually ice skating (which he sucks at)

katsuki is good at going fast but bad at stopping, so if he decides to blast off you’re not seeing him again bc he’ll keep going </3 godspeed

mina likes to sk8 but it isn’t her strong suit. she has a lot of multicolor penny boards tho!! she’d prefer to rollerskate alongside everyone <3 she can do a kickflip tho & thinks that’s sexy of her. she is right

katsuki is almost skater god like hanta, but he’s definitely more skateboard while hanta is more longboard

he likes to skate fast!! he name is marty mcfly williams & he is about to bomb this master hill :)

katsuki does NOT fall. no one has ever seen him fall. by the grace of skate gods he doesn’t fall in front of anyone but if he’s alone? his legs are broken

hanta wants you on his longboard with him. his hands are in your pockets <3

if you try to get on denki’s board with him he suddenly can’t skate and will send you both flying

mina & kat do not allow passengers because they want you alive

she convinced everyone to wear a color for pride in june when skating & posted it on the first :3 

kiri - red, kat - orange, denki - yellow (givens. they will not give up their colours no matter how many times anyone asks, but will trade with each other)

you, mina, and hanta will usually pick the color that they have the best outfit for & works around everyone else. sero likes mina in green because he thinks it looks really nice with her skin tone so she likes to wear green for him, but usually opts for purple or blue. hanta also looks very nice in green <3

denki puts his multicolored band-aids on everyone even if they’re not hurt & kisses it <3

Professional skating means professional training. It also means aspects of the physical form, like stamina, are developed to become stronger and last longer than the average person's. Well, thank god for Yuuri enduring through Victor's professional training, because the amount of time he's had to hold his breath while crouched low under Phichit's bed would be astounding to the right few.

"Yuuri!!" Yep, he's definitely mad. Not the I'm going to rip your head off kind of mad ( i.e. Yurio's type of anger ), but the just wait until I find you and tickle the shit out of you kind of mad, because when an angel like Phichit becomes angry at you, his first method of punishment is of course going to be something inherently light-hearted. 

Dark eyes widen when Yuuri notices Phichits feet within his line of sight under the bed. He knew he shouldn't have allowed Guang Hong to persuade him to prank his fellow skater, especially since it involved his social media, which is a nigh sacred thing to Phichit.  It'll be funny, he said. Phichit will die laughing about it, he said. He observes those feet marching closer and closer to the bed and for a moment, Yuuri feels as though his end is near. On top of being embarrassingly ticklish, Phichit is frighteningly good at tickling and that goes double for tickling Yuuri specifically. He hears the closet door swing open and a huff of frustration falling from the other before he eventually leaves the room. 

A few seconds of absolute silence pass and Yuuri, foolishly, believes he's in the clear. Slowly, like a prey feeling out the area after having been alerted to a predator, Yuuri crawls out from underneath the bed and permits himself a diminutive breath of relief. Something he let loose all too soon.

"Aha!!" Comes the loud, accusatory call from Phichit, who's reappeared back in the open frame of his door with an index finger pointed directly at his best friend. "You thought you could hide from me, didn't you, Yuuri!" 

The aforementioned male squeaks and rolls onto his back, palms up and arms outstretched from his chest, as if in attempt to admit defeat before Phichit makes any moves. 

"Ah! Um, n-no! Not at all! I was just -- uh -- making sure… you didn't.. l-leave your skates under your bed again! Remember last time? You ended up nearly tripping ov---" A little too late, but Yuuri quickly realizes that reminiscing on an embarrassing mishap of Phichit's, when he's already agitated with him, is probably not the wisest of choices; that’s further evidenced by the tanned youth’s cheeks puffing out with a pout drawn across his lips. 

“I’ll have you know that I hang my skates beside my bed now, as a symbol of love and honor towards the sport!” Probably not the best place to hang those skates, considering they could fall from their hook on the wall and Phichit may still trip over them - but Yuuri wasn’t about to say that and speak his ticklish demise into existence. Not that it wasn’t going to happen anyway, because as soon as Yuuri attempts a rapid spin to stand and venture an escape, Phichit closes in and tackles him down onto the bed. Fingers jump right into action, scribbling all over Yuuri’s sides and stomach, whilst keeping his body pinned with his weight. The reaction is immediate; Yuuri squirms like an unearthed worm being beaten down by the sun’s rays, giggling already in hysterics. Curse his hyper - sensitive skin! Every scritch and squeeze jolts through him like an electric current and he’s only made extra sensitive by Phichit’s abrupt teases. 

“Do you see? You wouldn’t have to deal with such ticklish torture if you hadn’t messed with my insta page!” 

“Ahahahahaha! I-I’m sohohohorry! It wahahasn’t -- j-just mehehehehe!” The longer those slender digits torture his stomach, the higher of an octave his laughter raises. Yuuri’s hands fly forward to grip onto Phichit’s wrists to try and deter him in any way, but with the strength he possessed before now usurped by the ticklish sensations, grabbing onto his friend hasn’t proven useful at all. If anything, he’s only been encouraged to migrate elsewhere and Yuuri’s about to regret that decision. 

“Now, you’re right, it wasn’t just you, and Guang will receive his punishment the next time I see him. Buuuut for now, all I see is you, so you’re getting yours first!” There’s a particularly playful evil lurking within the intentions of Phichit’s words and Yuuri swears he will never, ever prank the other skater again. Too bad for Yuuri, because Phichit isn’t quite done helping him learn his lesson. “Y’know, I’m still a good friend. Let me help you; I wanna make sure you’ve got the right amount of ribs!” 

Oh no. 

“Phi--Phichihihihihit, nohoho--!” It’s too late. Ignoring Yuuri’s mirth-laden request, those deft digits travel to the expanse of his ribs and begin to count each one of them, aloud, and to just to make sure Yuuri feels it, Phichit spends some time in between each bone, with gentle, maddening strokes that have Yuuri unhinging his jaw in ripe shrieks of laughter. 

“Ohoho, I totally forgot about how ticklish you are on your ribs! It’s one of your worst spots right? Who would’ve thought?” He’s simply being a brat now and if Yuuri could form coherent thoughts, he’d already be planning a vendetta. For now, he’s buried in merriment, some of it obviously forced, but even he couldn’t deny how much fun he’s actually having, and Phichit would say the same thing. Still, even good things must come to an end, and the social media star finally trusts that his friend understands why it isn’t a good idea to prank him. His fingers halt, smooth themselves over Yuuri’s stomach, earning him a stray giggle, but then are removed altogether. Yuuri sucks in as much oxygen as he can, laying unmoving atop the bed, glasses all askew and hopefully, not broken or cracked. 

Phichit slides off of the other, appearing rather proud of himself, hand on a hip, while its counterpart is extended to aid Yuuri off of his bed. “Now, I know you’re probably going to want to get me back…,” he starts and bites back a shiver at the small smirk spreading across Yuuri’s lips at his words, “However, if I let you help me teach Guang this same lesson, since it is partly his fault why you got tickled in the first place, will you let me off the hook?”

Yuuri goes silent, truly contemplating the ultimatum he’s given. He nods then, his smirk deflating into a smile as he stands up next to Phichit, who doesn’t see his hand behind his back, with two fingers crossed. “Count me in.”

He spent many afternoons in front of his laptop gazing at the financial aid application link on the university website.  The deadline wasn’t for another month yet Otabek knew he was missing out on available money since he waited so long, but his spirits crashed when his inner devil reminded him it wasn’t feasible and probably never would be.  He slammed the laptop shut so many times Yuri yelled at him to take it easy.

“Nothing, Yura,” he said, kissing the pale blond halo of hair, “Go to sleep.”

Moving his arm when Yuri rolled over, Otabek frowned when he glared at him.  He hated keeping anything away from Yuri but didn’t want him adjusting his life to accommodate his own.  Seeing the fierceness in his green eyes, Otabek knew Yuri wasn’t going to drop the issue.

“Bullshit,” Yuri said, “We’ve known each other for how long now?  I know when something’s wrong and something is right now.  Talk to me.”

“It’s not a big deal.”

“Beka, tell me or so help me, Baby Jesus,” Yuri growled.

“We can’t afford for me to go back to school,” Otabek admitted.

Skates, costume, ID, cell-phone, make-up, first-aid kit, sewing kit, socks, tape, hankachi, water bottle, snacks, train pass, autograph card, marker, money, skates, costume, pass... Kenjirou nodded to himself. It seemed he had everything he needed. He went through his list again before finally zipping up his bag and his suitcase. Then he sat down on his bed relieved. They still had an hour before they had to leave, everything was going to be ok. Ayumu chuckled from the chair by his desk. "So, how are we doing?" 

Of all the people that had managed to join him on his competitions over the years, Ayumu was the most present. He knew how hard Kenjirou had worked so far, he had seen him at his lowest and now he would get to see him at the senior nationals. Unbelievable. "Hmmm..." he took a moment to actually think about it, reaching for a pillow in the shape of a chicken leg so he could have something to hold. He could feel the usual competition-day energy bottled up inside him, but at the same time he felt extremely calm. "I feel strange. Like, I'm not nervous. At all?" "Well... that's good" "But, shouldn't I feel something? Anything?" He let himself drop on the mattress and stared at the ceiling where he had his favourite poster of Yuuri-kun mid-program, looking directly at the camera with one hand raised, about to turn the other way to go into a step sequence. Kenjirou knew that program inside and out but had never managed to copy it exactly. He knew Ayumu wasn't really interested in hearing about Yuuri Katsuki for the millionth time, it was only so he could calm down a little, but he appreciated it. He programmed an alarm on his phone so they wouldn't be late, sat back down on the bed, took the stuffed doll he had made of his hero that he used for his explanations and said "So glad you asked...!"

I’m sorry for not going into detail what I loved about them here or leave comments here, because I’m trying to keep the post’s length under control. All of these 17 fics (and 2 comics) deserve a commentary and a detailed recommendation post of their own and I hope I’ll find the time to do that for all of them one day.

Listen, I love all three of them so much. I binge read them all when I found them. They all made me feel so many things and I might have cried now and then while reading any of them (for different reasons). Those are fics I would reread - I don’t even know how often. They are just so incredibly well done.
