@ravioxhilda ur art made me want to do something with these two :) underrated ship imo (though I went with them being an evil duo instead of your redeemed Astor au)
So, be me back in November, crossing off a bucket list item—I've finally made it to Disneyland. Though, at the time, I'm in California Adventure (not a bucket list thing, but part of the package).
I'm in the San Fransokyo part, which I adore because BH6 is one of my favorite movies Disney has made in the last decade (oh, fuck it's been out a decade!).
So, they've got Japanese pop music playing in the parks.
As my eldest sister and I were eating, I heard a song I could have sworn I'd heard used in a Zelda GMV, but I couldn't find it after much searching on youtube.
Then, as we're walking out of San Fransokyo to go to a different attraction, I hear something, a familiar piano riff, and I'm like,
"No....it can't be."
Then I was like,
"It ***is*** wtf?!?!"
youtube
BTW It wasn't a Japanese radio station because stuff repeated too frequently, so whoever picked this song either,
A) was fooled by the upbeat melody and tempo
OR
B) Knew EXACTLY what they were doing.
If it's A, then I'm not surprised. After all, there are other cases of upbeat songs that are horrific. Have you ever LOOKED at the lyrics of "You Are My Sunshine?" let alone the song "Pumped Up Kicks?"
If it's B, I'm impressed by the balls of whoever did it. May the upper brass never figure it out.
