You feel at home within yourself today. The outside world seems safe and inviting to start exploring new opportunities to bring into your life in 2023. As you contemplate what new skills to learn comes a feeling that you too can contribute in some way by sharing the knowledge that you already possess. Integrating these budding thoughts and feelings into an action plan for 2023 is the only action that needs to be done today.

Welcome!
I'm a Brazilian Tarot reader and Oraculist just trying to make a living to pay for college and help with house expenses, I work with the following divination methods:
Tarot (Rider Waite; Osho's Zen Tarot; Tarot of the Holy Grail)
Lenormand a.k.a. Petit Lenormand ( French Cartomancy, or Gypsy Deck if you're Brazilian)
Vera Sibilla Italiana (a.k.a. Italian Cartomancy)
Elder Futhark (a.k.a. Runes)
Very sporadically I use the pendulum and radiestesy & radionic graphics as well.
My main objective with this profile is to work professionally with divination and spirituality online. If you want to know more about myself before you book a reading or service feel free to ask, I'm an open book.
As this is a professional page and not only a hobby, I plan to charge for my readings, I take payments via Paypal or PicPay (if you're in Brazil, I take payments via pix as well).
However, I also intend to serve spirituality itself, so once a week I'll answer simple questions with 6 card Lenormand readings free of charge via Tumblr's ask function.
Readings:
1 card reading using Osho's Zen Tarot Deck
3 runes reading using Elder Futhark Runes
6 card reading using the Lenormand Deck
3 card reading using Rider Waite's Tarot Deck
Pack of three 6 card readings using Lenormand Deck
Pack of three 3 card readings using Rider Waite's Tarot Deck
Lenormand Grand Tableau reading + 3 clarifying questions.
1 hour of unlimited questions using your oracles of choice (from those currently avaliable) + 1 Osho's Zen Tarot card advice.
Readings can be made online (texts or videocalls if the app of choice supports it, you choose) via Tumblr Chat, Discord, WhatsApp, or delivered on a PDF via e-mail. I'll always send pictures of the cards drawn and explain everything.
Other services I offer:
Spiritual Guidance and Advice Sessions ( 1 hour sessions via Discord or Whatsapp Messenger)
Tutorial on Energetically Cleansing Spellwork (delivered via Discord, E-mail or PDF)
30 days of Spiritual Guidance and Advice + three 6 card readings with Lenormand (via Discord or Whatsapp Messenger)
On Spellwork:
I can perform certain types of spellwork, such as:
Abundance, prosperity & wealth rituals
Self-love, self-esteem & self-respect rituals
Peace and positivity rituals
Those don't have a fixed pricing, the price is to be discussed depending on the severity of the situation, on the pricing of the required materials to perform the ritual, and on the financial situation of the client.
I may as well prescribe baths and rituals which you'd have to do yourself. If you come to me just for the prescription of baths or rituals I just charge the symbolic value of $5 for said prescriptions; however, if you booked a reading or another service with me and I find it to be useful or necessary in your situation, I'll do it free of charge.
Onto the much necessary disclaimer:
I DON'T do binding or karmic return rituals. Do not even ask about it. It goes against my values as a light-worker. Divine justice is there for a reason. I'm not here to rip off anyone so if you really need a certain service and can't afford it just message me about it and I'll see what I can do to help for FREE.
Most importantly: I am not a scammer, I'd rather be scammed than be seen as a scammer so you don't even need to pay upfront, I don't care to work for free if it means I'll get to help people with my cards.

Online Grimoire/journal Page 2
Page 2 is yet another tarot reading. I feel like tarot is maybe the first step that is easy enough for me to do in my witchy practice and then post here. I find it beneficial to journal, but sometimes journaling is hard because without knowing what I'm feeling, how am I supposed to write about anything? I succumbed to that Zenful Note Tiktok shadow work book. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but still not entirely helpful from a current self-care place. Obviously it's a shadow work book, so it's more past focused but right now I don't think I need to try to understand my past. Not quite yet. I will eventually, but to be able to understand my past self I need to understand my current self.
4 years ago, I thought Tarot wasn't super necessary to self care or witchery in general. It seemed hard, and it kind of is, but now that I've taken a couple days to actually consider it and try it, I think it's going to be extremely beneficial for me to be able to help myself, as someone just now coming back into things.
Tonight was my first tarot reading in very long time, aside from my Getting To Know Your Deck reading. (<-link if you're curious)
Let's get right into it! <3
I looked up some self care Tarot spreads but none of them seemed right for my personal needs currently, so I created my own little three card spread. I'm using the Antique Anatomy Tarot deck for this!
At what point did my life [get to where it is now] and less caring for myself?
The Moon - Pisces - 9 - Blue
Key words: Preparation, mastery, wisdom, introspection, dreams, calm, sadness, grief, boredom, illusion, unknown, deception.
My interpretation: By the looks of it, it seems like by pulling the Moon, the deck is trying to tell me that there are many things that have happened over the past couple years that could've contributed to the way I am today, but that I shouldn't place blame on one singular thing, especially if me asking this question means i'm trying to put majority blame on anyone who isn't me. But aside from that, in 2021 I had a friend commit suicide, and for a very long while I grieved that. Not too long after, I got into a relationship with, you guessed it, a Pisces. The relationship did cause me a lot of personal sadness, he wanted things I wasn't ready for, and I did things I regretted out of boredom in the relationship. Both of those are things I could pinpoint of where it sort of started, between grieving and friend, grieving a part of myself I lost because of a relationship I was in, and then grieving a part of myself I wasn't proud of/never knew of because of that same relationship.
Interestingly enough, the word "mastery" came up, which only stuck out to me because I agreed to join a team of people to "master" a hobby I enjoyed, which has inevitably added even more stress into my life and caused me to fall a little deeper than I would've if I hadn't agreed to do that.
2. If I continue the way I am, what can I expect from my future?
3 of Elixirs - Water - 3 - Purple
Key words: expansion, groups, growth, nurture, mystery, dreams, prophecy, high power, connection, social pleasure, gathering, good times
My interpretation: Ha Ha Ha. You know this isn't what I meant. Or, maybe you genuinely didn't know, maybe next time I'll have to be more specific. If I continue the way I am, of course I'll gain more "friends", be in a bunch of different groups of people, have more social pleasures, connections, and good times, but at what cost was the real question? Maybe by not giving me an answer directly, the deck is trying to tell me that I haven't put anything at risk quite yet. Maybe I am overthinking, or I have anxiety, or I believe I've hit a level that I haven't yet. Maybe I really will just have fun and a good time.
3. What, if anything, needs to change for me to better care for myself?
Knight of Blades - Air - 6 - Black
Key words: fairness, solution, values, witty, fair, inventive, fear, power, mystery, pain, assertive, arrogant, quick witted, severe, impatient, argumentative.
The Knight, as a person: Assertive, [manipulative?], typically friendly but if insulted, temper can be severe.
The Knight, as a situation: Rapid change, "seize the day", easy to get swept into the madness. You can do anything as long as you keep a clear mind. Be self-assured, but try not to cross into arrogance.
My Interpretation: Yeeeeeah. This is about me. It's gotta be, I can't think of anybody else in my daily consistent life who is like this except for me. Also, the element here is Air which I have a very air dominant chart. It only makes sense that this is me. Which, given the question I asked, makes sense. What needs to change for me to be able to take better care of myself? I need to be able to practice my assertiveness without being aggressive. The 2 go hand in hand for me. To be able to continue to do the things I'm doing that I'm scared are hurting me, I need to be able to keep a clear mind, keep my values in order, keep my power over these things or else I'll just continue to hold on to this fear and become worse than I already am. I don't exactly know how I need to do that, but it seems like when I figure it out, it needs to be rapid. No more being patient and slow with myself, rapid changes seem to be the way the deck is telling me to go...as long as I don't get swept away into the madness of what I already have going on, or swept away in the madness that rapid changes may trigger if I go that route...hm.
This reading was necessary for me to be able to confirm things I was already halfway considering. While I didn't get a lot of help on the roads I need to take, I have a clearer idea of why I may need to go certain ways than others. Granted, my questions were slightly open ended, less asking for direct guidance and more asking about why things are the way they are. Maybe the next time I come back to the topic of this reading, I'll ask better questions about more specific guidance. Also, the deck said it was going to be real and not sugar coat things to me and I see what it means now. Very nice, Antique Anatomy. Well played and thank you <3
Thank you to anyone who read this as well. See you next time! I promise not everything I do will be tarot related, but right now this is the easiest way to get back into my practice. <3

What’s their current energies like right now? As individuals? As a collective?
Alba ( Poe tarot) Chris ( woven path tarot)
Tumblr media
So she has got two pentacles here; the page and five. So she simultaneously feels like she’s gotten lucky financially, but that she’s also left out in the cold.
Kris is just unhappy. This was the only car that came out and the ace of cups in reverse is just a very straightforward unhappy, lack of joy.
Unifying energy (Osho zen tarot)
Tumblr media
This deck did not want to give me anything at first, I had to keep shuffling and asked repeatedly and then it dumped all of these cards out on my lap. It’s a long story-so the unifying energy is that they went into this in a very balanced and trusting place but it didn’t bring the abundance that they wanted, and at the end of it, they will have been conditioned through the experience not to want to cooperate with one another; so it was a learning experience that they both thought would be beneficial but went very poorly and now they’re kind of sour about it.
The combination of the ace of pentacles maturity, and the knight of cups trust, says that they wanted this to be something that it wasn’t, particularly with the abundance in reverse they wanted it to be monetarily beneficial for them, but now the veil has been lifted, and they’re just really ready for it to be over with that completion, conditioning, participation in reverse. They just want it to be done.

OK, a Tarot related one. It's more of a comment than a question. But first the question part.
What spiritual practices you use to connect with your deck/the question/the cards before you read? At the moment, I only meditate, because that's what I am the most familiar with.
I personally (as someone still in the process of learning) find your Alice in Wonderland deck as easy to read for the yes-no questions as the Marseille one, but that is only visually (it has the imagery different in the major and minor arcana).
However, I feel that I am more attracted to what I call the "narrative cards" (cards with imagery and characters rather than, say, just four wants and just 8 pentacles. My first tarot deck was actually non-traditional (the Tarot Osho Zen) so that might have to do with my preferences.
I also got a deck of the classic card but with meanings in it. I feel it would help me.in my learning journey.
I understand what you mean with it being easier to read. I think Rider Waite suits what you’re looking for. They have the “narrative” cards like you said. I think it helps when you start approaching the suits by their energies, like Pentacles as something more physical and material, Cups as emotions, Swords as the intellect and Wands as the action energy. Then you go by the step by step in the numbers, like Aces as the beginnings, until the 10s as the “endings”.
As for the spiritual practices, I don’t have many, I am more “concrete” in my approach, I don’t know how to explain it well. I really just need to breathe, clear my mind as much as I can, concentrate on the question, touch or be holding my black obsidian stones asking for clarity, because they are stones that help your have clarity of mind for things.
And one important thing I learned, I need to be as relaxed as I can, or the readings might get confusing if my energies are a mess.

History of Tarot
How to Seek a Prediction
Anyone can consult an expert
Equipment
Tarot cards
Personnel
Specialized expert reader of tarot cards
Description
The tarot is a card oracle, most often consisting of a deck of 56 Minor Arcana and 22 Major Arcana, also known as Trumps
The Minor Arcana have numbered cards and face cares arranged in suits, much like modern playing cards
Major Arcana have evocative names like The Fool, Death, and The Wheel of Fortune
Oracular readings are made by drawing one or more cards, often placing them in a spread, and interpreting their symbolic meanings in relationship to the querent
While tarot is not the only card oracle, it is by far the most common, and the term “cartomancy” most often refers to the use of the cards of divination
The cards that evolved into modern tarot cards were originally created as a set of playing cards, much like the simpler decks used in poker and bridge
They were in use from the mid-15th century through the late 18th century, when they began to be used for cartomancy
Early tarot decks were hand-painted
Some tarot readers continue this practice today, but most decks are now mass-produced
Modern tarot decks come in a variety of styles
Most are similar to the Rider-Waite deck, created and published by A.E. Waite and William Rider in 1910, with illustrations by Pamela Smith
They draw on medieval and Renaissance European symbolism to hide meaning within the illustrations
Other decks incorporate a broad range of influences, ranging from Kabballah to Zen Buddhism to modern internet culture
Differing decks often have different orders (e.g. Coins instead of Pentacles), or even different symbology and interpretations for the same card
Tarot reading is a personal experience, relying heavily on interpretation by the diviner
Shuffling a tarot deck is similar to shaking up dice before you roll them, in that it presumably randomizes the outcomes to follow
Given the seemingly deterministic systems prescribed for laying out the randomized cards it’s important to remind ourselves that interpreting the cards lain out still relies heavily on the conversation between human querent and diviner, much in the same ways that systems like Ifa and Turkish coffee divination do
The use of tarot in divination ceremonies is still common today
Most small cities will have at least one fortune-teller who uses tarot to advise querents about their day-to-day lives and major decisions; large cities will have several
Many of these fortune-tellers combine cartomancy with scrying and other methods

Tarot Decks
I've been searching for a new deck online. And would love feedback about what people use regularly and why. I've not been posting long so I don't think many will see this but I'm putting it out there anyway.
I collect decks I'm drawn, too. I may not use them but I like them. If my budget allows I pick one up when available. Seeing them in my storage box, or handling them, brings a smile or a feeling of peace. Some draw me in and refuse to be just part of a collection. So I use them when it feels right. There is no right or wrong and only what you feel when it comes to tarot decks.
I need to add that if ANYTHING tells you to harm yourself or any living thing you need to walk away and give serious thought to seeking help from a professional. Tarot cards, crystals, Oracle decks, pendulums, etc. are items that help guide and protect you. I've never felt any maliciousness when dealing with any of these things. Neither should you.
You have 1 deck and only one in your arsenal? Fine. Collect Disney decks simply to display? Fine. 15 decks that you use regularly, depending on mood and gut feeling that day? Fine.
People think they have to start or only use the 1910 RW deck that is mainstream for tarot readings. It's the most well known deck out there as far as I can tell. Problem is when you see a deck, any deck, and go "meh". Colors, imagery, art style...all this can affect your connection to a deck. Go with what you are drawn, too.
I love purple and saw a deck done in purple with RW images in silver reliefs on the cards. This purple was pretty and deep but I'm not interested in owning the deck. It's a nicely done, pretty deck but it's not for me.
I like to support the small metaphysical shops here in my town. Though only one of the two may still be in business. However, I'm on a budget and can't always afford their wares. $24.00 for a 1x1 sodalite crystal carved into a smiling Buddha seems a bit steep to me. Yet, I'm sitting here looking at it smiling down on me from the top of my rolltop desk in a small Zen garden, under a crystal chakra tree.
Back to stores...sometimes it helps to physically touch the deck to get the connection. I may not leave with a deck in tow but I usually find a crystal or two in my purse that I've purchased.
Online is great but you may find it hard to connect virtually. You might find your deck of choice cheaper online, it doesn't hurt to look, but if you don't please go back and buy it from the shop to support the owner.
Some Tarot decks I'm considering. Not in order of preference:
Wise Dog Tarot
Tarot of Dreams
Phantasma Tarot
inner voice Tarot
Dark Wood Tarot
Spiritsong Tarot
There's more on my Amazon list but these are the ones I'm drawn to the most. None are giving me a definite pull so I'm waiting. Spirit Song has surprisingly beautiful artwork.
Not listed are teddy bears, Marvel characters, 2 Anime decks, Guilded tarot (is a mini deck and I don't like mini decks), and more like a Monet deck I'd like to have because I like his art.

Day 1 - A bet for a good cause(?)
six of pentacles // generosity, assistance, support
Truth be told, I was pretty nervous to officially open shop for the first time today. I ended up resorting to my old, well-loved tarot deck - a present from a loved companion many years ago. The deck's always served me well in times when I'm unsure of my future. Starting this cafe is an incredibly uncertain future for me and, well, a little bit of guidance surely wouldn't go amiss.
It's only zen-cha's first day of operations, so of course business was fairly slow, but we had a pretty memorable customer come in in the late afternoon. A young halfling man, messy hair and a toad familiar on his shoulder - I knew even before I recognised his shabby robes that he must have been a mage-in-training at the Academy, my own alma mater.
"I'd like to order something absolutely irresistible," he told me. "I've made a bet with my friend who hates sweet things, see, and I've got a wager of a hundred gold-pieces riding on my ability to find a dessert he'll eat without a second thought. I wouldn't normally take up such a bet, but my annual Academy tuition's due soon and I really need any money I can get."
Seemed like a pretty high-stakes bet to me, but an irresistible dessert seemed like a request I could fulfill with no trouble at all. Besides, it's always good to lend a hand to those in need.
"You've come to the right place," I told him. "Why, I'd recommend you our Earl Grey & Witch-Hazel Tart. It's got a deliciously nutty-yet-floral aroma, and there's nobody in this world who didn't enjoy a good earl-grey based dessert."
He thanked me profusely and left the cafe, holding his little takeout container of tart gingerly. I do hope his friend eats the tart and wins him the bet - I sure know I wouldn't be able to resist it!

A Message from the Universe ~ Health, Laziness, Hope, and Freedom
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A Message from the Universe ~ Health, Laziness, Hope, and Freedom, Osho Zen Tarot Cards Today's Message from the Universe indicates a need for motivation. Let's address the "laziness" card first. I can tell you from experience that when we or others perceive ourselves as lazy, there is often big healing that is needed. We live in a time where each of us is expected to do all the things on our own instead of working together as a family or community. It is hard enough (often not even possible) to do all the things when you're a healthy person. Someone who is exhausted, in pain, or depressed all the time usually just feels worse at the end of the day when hounded by all the things they "should" have done. If you are thinking of someone as lazy, there is a need to put yourself in their shoes. Try to think of them with empathy, compassion, and kindness. They may have too much on their plate at this time or they might be going through something you don't really understand. Either way, you are being advised to give them a helping hand, even if your help is just spending some quiet time with them. If you are one of the "lazy" people, beating yourself up about not being able to do and be what you "should" do and be, you are being advised to be kind to yourself. Chances are that you're doing far better than you think you are! It's time to make your well-being a top priority. If you are able to get professional help, please do, even if there's a long waiting list or difficulty with transportation. If you can make it happen, make it top priority! With or without professional help, it's also time to see where you can make things easier for yourself. Remove unnecessary tasks and obligations, and allow yourself to do little things that will chip away at the big things. You may want to give yourself a little structure or loosen up on the current structures that keep you running on empty. When I was working full-time and dealing with a body and brain that were perpetually sick, staying on top of household chores was always the most difficult for me. I learned to organize things by where I used them and how often and I learned how to trick my brain with the 5-minute rule. I created a habit of picking up 1 or 2 things every time I left a room and gave myself permission to "half-ass" some things because it was better than not doing anything because it was so overwhelming. What works will be different for everyone. You know what your strengths and weaknesses are, and you know what resources are available to you. Do NOT be afraid to ask for help either, we all need help from time to time! Once you start to get healthy, you'll find yourself welcoming in a feeling of freedom and hope you never thought was possible for you. Hello and welcome to Sage Sips blog: Tarot for your day in the time it takes to sip your coffee (or whatever you like to sip whenever you read this). I'm glad you are here.
Just a quick review: Every now and then I'll post a series of blog posts where we learn a new Tarot deck, Oracle Deck, or other oracle device together. While I've been reading Tarot for (I can't believe I'm saying this) 30 years now, I don't know every deck in existence. Each deck of cards or divination method has its own character that is worth exploring. Of course there is always something to learn process wise. If a psychic isn't still learning, how can clients learn from their readings? Learning is change, change is life.
As we go through these new decks and tools, I'll show you the methods I've used to learn intuitive reading in general as well as learning the particulars of the new thing.
My hope is that this process will build your trust in me as a reader, so you can feel confident getting a professional reading but also (more importantly) I hope this process will build your confidence in your own intuition.
Just like decks that use the Marseille, Visconti, or RWS structure the artwork can vary wildly from deck to deck. I'm glad for artwork on the Healing Light deck for a couple of reasons.
First, color on black is one of my favorite aesthetics. Gold on black is a particular favorite - no surprise if you've ever seen sagewordstarot.com
Second, like many contemporary decks, it is a bit more abstracted and drops a lot of the religious imagery that was the norm in the Victorian Era but is anathema to a 21st century freethinker. Hurray for that.
Especially with the ring card.
The guide book connects the Ring with "religious vows" or "religious commitment when it is connected or adjacent to the Cross card. The two together gives an energy akin to the Hierophant or Pope card in RWS style decks.
It also can symbolize a mutual, loving commitment akin to the hand fasting or marriage connotations of the RWS two of cups.
Intuitively I want to synthesize both of those things.
Commitment is a two way street. You have to give to get, and you get what you give (cue the New Radicals song). A commitment born of blind faith and adherence where all you do is give cannot last. A commitment where you sit and expect to receive can not last either.
The idea of a "twin flame" that makes you happy or "completes you" comes to mind - and falls into that take-only second category.
The circle of the ring connotes wholeness.
Commitments are both people all in, both giving and receiving in moving dynamic symbiosis.
Cue all the symbolism of the Zen enso
Ahhhhh...I get it - cue a big cartoon light bulb hanging over our head.
The guide book for the Lenormand deck is minimal. The grand tableau layout is so broad as to be unfocused and unhelpful. Lenormand is direct and to the point because it forces us to read intuitively if we are going to read it at all. Its small deck and broad symbolism can meld to whatever the message of the moment may be. It's strength lies in touching the emotions of the moment.
In the ring card alone we can branch out to the Pope, the Two of Cups, The Moon and more as needs be. Lenormand utterly relies on our intuition as much as it prompts or amplifies our intuition.
Interesting, to say the least.
Thank you so much for reading. If you like what you read here and on the socials, please consider supporting this free-to-access blog. Private readings, memberships and virtual coffee all help. Your social media shares are much appreciated too.
See you at the next sip!
