Zherui and Zongyi's reunion in Episode 11

Look, I look everyone's incredibly OMFG at the Chen Yi and Ai Di's reunion (YASSS I LOVE IT TOO) and also the cliffhanger of Episode 12, but honestly I'm still living in Zherui and Zongyi's reunion, Episode 11.

How it starts off with Zongyi and his Dad, talking about the could have, would have, should haves-

"喜欢的人喜欢自己是奇迹， 但他不是等来的"

The person you like returning your affection is a miracle, but it's not something you wait for- (!!!) Zongyi's determination,

"但没有他你今天不会是这样子，你可以更好"

But if you never met him, you wouldn't be like this today, you would have a better life...Bai Papa's plaintive plead to his son

Zongyi's rebuttal - "但我和妹会失去你" (!!!!!)

But we would have lost you - (YES GUYS, REMEMBER, HE WENT TO JAIL FOR HIS LOVE AND HIS DAD)

where Bai Papa finally tells him that it's ok that he didn't go to college, or become a doctor-

and that little smile when he realises it's Zongyi, and it's like his dreams, AND THEY KISS, and the music changes a few times and

Zherui's little 痛吗？Does it hurt? as he gently touches the back of Zongyi's head where he was attacked HE KNOWS, HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHERE IT IS

and then Zongyi's

“我们不要再分开了好不好 ”

Let's not be separated again in the future, ok?

and Zherui's determined face- this is when he decided he's going to get back at his Grandpa, he's going to go to Zongyi regardless of anybody's objection, the reason why he was talking to Bai Papa in episode 12 and to ask if it's okay that he's with Zongyi. HERE, HE REALISES HE'LL DO ANYTHING TO STAY WITH THIS BOY.

Official Additional Extras of Kiseki: Dear to Me in Filming Diary Release

SADLY I don't have time to translate everything from head to toe but there are two NEW and short epilogues written for the drama by Lin Peiyu and published in the Filming Dairy today on Nov. 24. So it's new extras on top of the extras in the original novel published.

I'll just summarise it for y'all BECAUSE THEY REVEAL THAT CHEN DONGYANG KNEW ALL ALONG THAT CHEN YI HAD SOME WEIRD THING FOR HIM?!

Chen Yi + Ai Di

Starts off with Chen Yi waking up to see Ai Di in his arms, and he reveals that Ai Di has issues with controlling his emotions because his mother took drugs when she was pregnant with him

CHEN YI GETS AI DI A RING because he thought his fingers looked empty

A majority of the other paragraphs is just Chen Yi getting jealous because Chen Dongyang, who's in New Zealand with Zhou Minglei, called him to go fetch someone called Charles Yang from Thailand and Charles Yang keeps flirting with Ai Di and they look super close like brothers upon meeting each other

Ai Di sees Zherui on the roads but Chen Yi is like NOPE you ain't going to be chummy with that dude (Zherui is there with Zongyi for their honeymoon, see below)

Chen Yi then called Chen Dongyang to complain and he's like "when is he going to hide here until? it's troublesome" and Chen Dongyang pauses and he's like "are you complaining to me right now?" and Chen Yi backpedals and he's like shit omg sorry boss

And Chen Dongyang simply snaps "Call me Dad!" and "I've been waiting so long... you'll only complain to your Dad."

And that's when Chen Yi knows Chen Dongyang has known about his weird feelings all this time and Chen Dongyang said yeah, but he wasn't the one who found out (implying that it was Zhou Minglei)

Then Chen Yi angrily grabs Ai Di back into their room at 3pm in the morning to sleep with him and Charles Yang was basically teasing them all this while for fun LMAO

Bai Zongyi + Fan Zherui

THEY ARE IN BANGKOK FOR THEIR HONEYMOON

Bai Zongyi keeps forgetting that they're here for their honeymoon, and this one is much shorter

Bai Zongyi and Fan Zherui go to Chatuchak Market and Bai Zongyi gets lost, and when he's distracted by a pickpocket, he suddenly forgets where he and why he's here

He worries about whether he is a burden for Fan Zherui, but Fan Zherui finds him

Fan Zherui doesn't tell him that he has a tracker installed in his wedding ring so he would never lose track of him

SOBBLES! Lol them going to Bangkok, is this a hint that they're going to do a fanmeet in Bangkok LOL

Zongyi knowing that Zerui forgot him and wanting to believe that if he remembers that will make their love story worthwhile and facing his own issues with losing his short term memory and so everything Zerui remembers is new and everything Zongyi remembers is old and it's just... heartbreaking and painful and they're moving into a future one without a past and the other struggling with the present and the love there is one that is going to hurt for the ages.

Not but on Christmas my drunk self was crying because I remembered that the universe we see in Kiseki isn't even the real thing, and that in the main universe ZongYi is a med student but loses ZheRui ;;

I am still caught in Zongyi struggling with his memory of the present but being so vibrant because he still has his past and his past is shaping his future while Zherui has become a pale imitation of himself because he has no past and so no future and the present gives him nothing he wants or needs.

The past and the future give us passion and Zherui lost both when he lost his memory of Zongyi and their love and now he is merely existing.

And Zongyi wants to believe that, if their love truly matters, Zherui will be able to remember him but he also knows that just isn't how memory works and what will he do to fight for the future they wanted without the past to back him up?

(Zongyi has also replaced Zherui as Ai Di's friend and confidante and what will that look like as they both try to build a future based on lost love?)

Fan Zherui x Bai Zongyi: Fan Zherui, 25 years old, is a gang member who turned to the gangs due to family problems, and one day when he's injured, Bai Zongyi saves him, he falls in love with him and decides to leave the gang, but things go awry when his enemy Zhang Teng (played by Wayne, see CP 3) comes after for revenge. Bai Zongyi is a good student, your cutest boy next door, who is independent and has some PTSD from when he was beaten up in the rain - meets Fan Zherui and for once realises what it means to be loved, to have someone to care for him and more. TWO MEOW MEOWS?! Anyway, Bai Zongyi, according to MDL, will take the rap for some fight for Zherui, and then end up in jail, but then very weirdly the official description says that CP 2's Eddie ends up in jail for Bai Zongyi, I'm a tad confused but WHATEVER we will find out when we watch the damn show.

CP 2: ADOPTED SON OF GANG BOSS + CHILDHOOD "YOUNGER BROTHER" PUPPY

Chen Yi x Eddie (Ai Di): They both grew up together with Eddie as the younger 'brother', with Chen Yi being 'adopted' by gang boss Chen Dongyang after his parents, also gang members die to protect the boss. Eddie has been chasing after him for the longest time, and has a sad family background as his parents are druggies and he was only able to grow up well under the protection of Chen Dongyang, and he only listens to Chen Yi. UNREQUITED-REQUITED love, but Eddie sees how Chen Yi feels deeply about Chen Dongyang (I don't know what that means from the description LMAO like??) and decides to leave Chen Yi, and somehow get embroiled in something and ends up in jail for Bai Zongyi. Chen Yi is only just understanding his own feelings for Eddie when Eddie literally goes to jail DOGBLOOD MUCH?! Anyway they will reunite 4 years later.

Has been following him since he joined the gang and both fears and reveres him, and Zhang Teng is just angry ball of angst and revenge and vengeance, if you couldn't tell from Wayne's face. Friends yall do not understand how I feel about these two uncles. IF you've ever watched Taiwan family dramas, these two, especially the one on the left Xie Chengjun, is a fucking LEGEND, he's in EVERY SINGLE FAMILY DRAMA all hundreds of episodes of them, he's literally like THE dude to idolise he's been paired up with EVERY SINGLE POPULAR GODDESS ACTRESS in Taiwan - I KID YOU NOT I GREW UP WATCHING HIM on OUR CHANNELS EVERY SINGLE DAY ACROSS 5-7 POPULAR FAM DRAMAS it's been like 20 years ISTG.

Anyway I'm NOT SURE if they are actually going to be a CP at all BUT (1) at press conference this week, these two made kissy faces at each other sooooo...?

Zhou Minglei grew up with Chen Dongyang protecting him as he was a weak and sickly child, so they're childhood friends, and he becomes super unhappy and upset that Chen Dongyang begins to protect and pays attention to Chen Yi ;-; LIKE WHAT IS THIS DESCRIPTION? Okay we could think of this professionally as like two bosses of a gang with their interests at stake BUT THE DESCRIPTION?!
