I don't think that zosan would ever really be the type to be easily jealous. Like sure Sanji can get 'jealous' over Zoro's swords but that's like the only time Sanji is ever worried about the attention his marimo is giving to something else. And Zoro knows how the love cook can be and that the way he treats women is just how he's always going to be. They're both very secure in their relationship and have never had a time where they felt like they had to protect it from another person.

That just means that he won’t be working on the grassy deck of the sunny and suddenly find Zoro leaning into him asking him what he’s up to or just falling asleep against him. Nor will they nap together under the shade of a tree. Nor will he let Zoro use his lap as a pillow. Nor will they be shooting the shit late at night looking up at the stars. Nor will Usopp get to laugh as Zoro tries and fails to map out constellations. Nor will he get to tell him how hopeless he is and that it doesn’t matter if Zoro doesn’t know his left from his right because Usopp will always be there to find him.

He will lose a lot of things but he thinks that what he’s protecting is more important right?

Now all Usopp gets all the things he is left with are those moments that could have been, the ones that should have been and all the ones that will never be.

I feel like Rory judges people a lot by how they treat his relationship with Vernes. Of course this starts by stating the obvious: Do NOT, I respect, DO.NOT. A few thoughts:

I think that Blaze may be the only one who ever managed to "hurt" Vernes. Tired of being the target of his brother pranks he stole the plush and left a really poorly written kidnapper note. Luffy was a lot of things, but tactful wasn’t one of them

That’s just the way he was, and it probably made him all the more loveable at times—though it didn’t endear him to some

And his first encounter with them was… rather interesting

They’d been traveling on land for quite a long time after they’d made it to the newest island, searching for a decent inn to accommodate the entire crew at the lowest cost (per Nami’s orders)

Luffy had long gotten bored of the bickering back and forth between Zoro and Sanji, driven away by his hunger and desperation for another not-so-quick meal—and quick, before he started whining to himself and alarming everyone that passed him by

Halfway through complaining of how stupid this was, not having any food stalls nearby, a hand tapped on his shoulder

A friendly smile on their face, the person invited him to follow after them, with a promise of the most delicious street food he’ll ever have the pleasure of tasting

The captain blinked twice, picking up the pace to walk beside them, but not before loudly and quite rudely asking, “Hey, why are you looking past me?”

They’d detected no malice in his question, and explained that their eyes were in fact unseeing, to which Luffy only nodded

Then he frowned, “Then how did you know I was there?”

At that they chuckled, “Well, all my other senses have been sharpened, though I’m pretty sure everyone within a five mile radius could hear your whining.”

“That can’t be easy. I can’t do anything in the dark.”

“It isn’t always the easiest, yes, especially when you’re traveling completely on your own, I guess,” they hummed in agreement, guiding him carefully and weaving through the crowds, “But I’d rather not be treated any differently. With consideration of course, but never like glass.”

As they pushed back a curtain that lead them into a shop whose tantalizing smells had Luffy’s mouth gaping and watering within seconds, they laughed as they heard him sharply inhale in anticipation

“You know what, I think I really like you!”

Now, if after several meetings and spending enough time together they’ve decided to further their relationship from platonic to romantic, I see Luffy as probably the best partner out there for them

He’s the least smothering guy ever, and fully believes in letting a person take control of their life without squashing their hopes and dreams or trying to limit them by putting them into standard boxes

He doesn’t baby them or use that overly sympathetic tone that most people tend to patronize them with, and that’s probably what made the relationship come so naturally in the first place; how laidback and casual, yet absolutely wonderful things were with him

Their heightened senses were an excuse to have them join the crew, but eventually the odd feeling of unique affection that swirled in his gut proved to be the real reason behind his decision

And considering just how much of a breath of fresh air he was, they’d found themselves reciprocating his growing feelings, and were unable to reject his offer to walk alongside him on the path to becoming the pirate king

Occasionally, he’d make a mindless remark or ask a rather stupid question about their blindness that sounded a little worse than he’d actually meant, but they knew him too well to take his words to heart, instead calmly replying and correcting his misconceptions

If they have taken offense though, he’d be a little confused but try his best to avoid any slip ups—and he mostly succeeds honestly

After all, what they have is definitely a once in a lifetime thing for him, and he cherishes his relationships more than one would ever know; it’s part of who he is

The difference between the two is still jarring to everyone who meets the brothers, and it shows even more after they hear about a certain someone’s first meeting with Ace

He’d probably been out to eat too, scouting the area with a keen eye for a new diner to check out—and, if we’re being brutally frank here, he probably intended to dine and dash once again

And once he’d hit the jackpot with a place that looked like it was had just restocked on fresh produce and grains (good, so they won’t be using the “we ran out” excuse on him!), he found himself indulging in heavenly good food that filled every single craving of his

Hearing a chortle to his left, he found them leaning on the countertop, a lazy smile on their face

“Sorry, ‘s there something on my face? Tends to get messy.”

“No, you just sounded real pleased while you were enjoying that.”

“Er,” he paused for a moment, not quite knowing what to make of their comment, before a look of understanding came on his face

Their eyes were vacant, and he chose to forgo his initial reply and instead approach them with tact

“Haven’t had a proper meal in days.”

“Could’ve sworn you’d been muttering about having just had a third lunch with that seasoned platter of roast beef,” they arched their eyebrow, and his eyes grew wide at that

Their senses of hearing and smell had to have been far superior than any he’d seen, seeing as the crowdedness of the diner meant that it was near damn impossible to hear anyone amidst the noise or discern particular smells among the various aromas

“Incredible,” he mused, before grinning, “And here I though I was being subtle about that.”

“Sorry to tell you, but as a fellow traveler, you probably stick out like a sore thumb. Nothing about you is subtle.”

As they inched their chair closer to him, he could converse more easily now, “You said you’re a traveler. On your own then, I’m guessing?”

Nodding, they added, “I like to travel light. Less to worry about,” and before he could open his mouth to speak, they added, “And don’t worry about me. It’s pretty therapeutic to be on my own, even if it does prove to be troublesome sometimes.”

And Ace, though with slightly different circumstances, did understand them quite well; having fared well on his own more times than he could count on one hand

He wasn’t even aware of it, but as he leaned in to talk more animatedly, that first moment of bonding was the start of a cherished friendship

As a romantic partner, I’ll have to admit that Ace is more of a worrywart than he appears, and would probably accidentally end up annoying them on a few occasions

It’s not like he means to seem like he’s walking on eggshells around them; he just worries about his manners and actions more than he’ll ever admit

That and the fact that he’s naturally the type of person to expend himself for the sake of his loved ones, so he can’t help the way he worriedly checks on them several times to make sure that everything’s alright

He probably forgets during these times that they’d been perfectly fine on their own before they’d met, but that’s fine

All they have to do is insist that they don’t need any help, and assure him that if they did they’d remember to rely on him more

Nudging him into quieting down is probably the best solution to this problem; once he’s aware of his actions he feels rather ashamed of himself afterwards, but he’ll learn to do better

Ace is sweet in his own impulsive, cheeky, and caring way, and that’s just another one of his quirks that they’ve come to notice about him

There’s so much of him to love, and being patient with him as he tries his best to make them comfortable is something they don’t mind doing in the least

Once he’s got a good rhythm going on in their relationship and he loosens up, he’ll realize that accepting their help with their incredible abilities isn’t at all taking advantage of them

Their aid is much appreciated, and he’d tell them every day how grateful he is—not just for whatever their sharpened senses have just helped him out in, but for their mere existence in his life, and for filling his heart with love until it was brimming with affection

I love trans women usopp. She would be so pretty but still be the same goofy ass usopp as usual. She still lies (she likes to add flirtatious charm or empathy. Babe learned how to cry on command.) Still cowers, dramatic as fuck and bickers with her crew

Sanji would swoon and act a fool towards as he does to Robin and Nami. During fights he jumps in wanting to protect her. 'Don't worry usopp darling! I'll save you! My sweet!'. Before he could finish his affections she's already sprinted the fuck out of there with out hesitation.

She's more touchy with Robin and uses her a Zoro 2.0 and hides behind her and drags her into her shenanigans. Robin likes to use a disembodied hand to shove her or smack the back of the head if she does something stupid. (Platonically of course you know the straw hats. Their Love language is physical violence towards each other)

Her dynamic with Nami did not change. They still cower in fear together, run away together, fight together and yell at Luffy together. They've only gotten closer, they even started fighting with each other more.

Her relationship with Zoro didn't change that much either girly still be yelling at him and criticizing his sense of direction. They still fight with each other, call each other names. Zoro still sees usopp as his equal she's still usopp. Is she still a liar, she's still over dramatic, Still a coward but she never misses her target and that's all he cares about. If only she'd stop nagging him.

She still thinks Franky is cool and is amazed by his engineering. His poses tho are kind of lame to her now but in a cute way. She will laugh whenever he does it. Franky sees her as a little sister which isn't saying much because he used to see her as a little brother. Brook is the same, nothing changed but he does ask her about her panties and you wouldn't believe this but she did let him see them. once!! and only once she was very strict about that and he never asked again.

Her and Luffy are still best friends and still good off. They're still very touchy and grabby. (I love how he doesn't see women's bodies as inherently sexual he just sees them as bodies) He still will wrestle with her, wraps around her and fall asleep next to her or on top of her. He has landed on top of her many times and she has yelled at him many times that he can't do that anymore! her boobs aren't cushions they hurt!

The only real change was sanji (I ship them but for the sake of this post it's one sided) sanji is a gentleman chivalry is his policy and he will treat any lady with the utmost respect (At least that's what he tells himself) he makes her drinks, treats and puts a lot of effort into the dinners that she eats like the other girls. When she started transitioning and developing he started going nuts for her. Usopp ate that shit up not only was it gender euphoric to be treated like the other women but she can ask sanji to do or buy her anything and he'll do it. She fucking loves attention that hasn't changed

Sometimes he'll revert back to his old ways with her especially when they get into an argument. He doesn't care if she's a gorgeous woman with pretty hair, a luscious body and smells like lemon and rosemary! (He does care. He cares so much. It's pathetic) stop bitching and start fishing!... Please darling.

Her fashion sense tho. It's the same but better She has sun hats, cabbie hats, brimmed braise, regular berets, beanies, buckets, cloche, and so many headbands. Short overalls, baggy overalls, jumpsuits of various sizes. She doesn't like wearing shirts she never did, unlike the other women on the boat she doesn't like letting her girls loose. It's not practical or functional for her line of work. She wears a sports bra or something with great support. Her favorite top is a high neck sports bra with a zipper in the front. Her hair is usually in a protective hair style. French braids with Afro puffs in the back or regular ponytail. She likes to let it down sometimes but it gets in the way. She's not that girly but she still wants to turn heads

In short she didn't really change and her crew treats her the same and the changes that did happen benefited her

THAT being said, you write them SO fucking well that you're basically converting me to them, but it's not the reason I follow you and stuff. Your writing is just... So good and evocative and you somehow always makes the most interesting plots, handdle them so interestingly and have the best Luffy in general.

As he watches, she plants her feet in front of Luffy, who stops—staring at her with wide, curious eyes, mouth still half-full of food. Her knuckles tint white where she has them clasped together. Zoro blinks, stunned, but Luffy must see something her expression, must pick up on something because he tilts his head at her like a kind of curious animal—and then Kuina bows.

In one formal, breathy rush, she says, “Thank you for taking care of my stupid, gross little cousin. He’s not a very good swordsman, and he gets lost easily, and he’s terrible at talking to people—so he needs someone to watch out for him.”

And Luffy laughs, throwing his head back, and Kuina’s own head whips up with a kind of stunned expression on her face.

“He is stupid! And he’s gross!” Luffy crows, and Zoro sputters. “But Nami keeps us from getting lost, and he talks to me just fine, and—didn’t you know?” he says, grinning, leaning forward again. “He’s going to be the greatest swordsman.” He stands up straight, and Kuina blinks at him, her expression faltering—then Luffy asks, eyes sharp but still smiling, “You’re the white sword, right?”

Kuina frowns, “The—”

“Wa-do I-chi-mon-ji,” Luffy enunciates, hitting each syllable like he’s practiced it over and over again. Like he’s memorized it with intention, one of the few names among hundreds that matters enough to remember. And Zoro feels a kind of nausea in the base of his throat, a bundle of emotions he doesn’t want to deal with, because he knows Luffy knows his swords, but he’s never bothered to ask if he knew them.

A Zoro watches, Kuina looks at Luffy a little warily—like maybe he’s playing some kind of trick on her. She’s still stiff-backed, not quite risen from her bow, and there’s a formality to her posture that seems so wrong directed at Luffy. Habits drilled into them both about respect, respect, respect for the people with power.

Slowly, carefully, she says, “It’s my sword.”

“No, it’s not. It’s Zoro’s sword.” Then, peering at her, he gives a decisive nod. “I’m right,” he says.

“About wha—” Kuina starts, clearly frustrated—already forgetting that Luffy is a Captain because he’s just so Luffy.

Then, without warning, he beams at her—one hand on his hat in a gesture Zoro has seen a thousand times, but that he knows—in that way he always knows what Luffy is thinking—means he’s swearing on the most precious thing in the world that what he’s saying is true. “Thank you,” he says, grinning, “for Zoro.”

And Kuina looks at him, startled. “Don’t thank me for something I didn’t do.”

Luffy tilts his head, frowning at her like he’s thinking, even though Zoro knows—can see him assessing her. “Did you know he fights with his teeth?” he says, gesturing wildly. “He puts the sword in his mouth and—that way, the only way someone can take the sword is by taking his head, too. You’re his treasure.”

“That’s so stupid,” she laughs, almost forgetting, and Luffy grins at her. “He’s so stupid.”

“And strong, and cool, and kind, and funny, and strong—”

“You already said that.”

“Because it’s true!” Luffy says like she’s stupid, and Kuina makes a face because she hates that kind of tone on deep, existential level, Zoro knows. Too many lectures synonymizing stupid with girl, even though Luffy wouldn’t know (or care) if they beat him over the head with it. Case in point, Luffy sticks his tongue out at her. “What’s that look for?” he says, frowning. “Shouldn’t you be proud? You made him that way.”

And deeply, intrinsically, inexplicably Zoro feels like something’s lodged in his throat even though he hasn’t even touched his food—

—but Luffy looks up, then, and catches his eye, and his Captain absolutely lights up as he scrambles over, already moving on from Kuina and whatever that was—leaving a blinking, bewildered little girl behind in the grass.

i wouldn't have an issue if it was just like. a one sided crush either. which it kind of is but i don't trust oda to have those intentions. i know its realistic to have kids crush on older people,, and i think its interesting to portray that as long as the adult isnt being creepy and weird. like u can have an adult that is accepting of the kid who's crushing on them. and the adult is also like "this is never going to happen. u should find someone your own age, that would be healthier". it is inherently pretty uncomfortable to have a kid crush on you i would assume, but they could still have a healthy relationship

Fighting with you is something he hates doing. He never allows anything to get to that point. Sanji can’t risk losing you over a fight (no matter how big or small). When he was a child, he lost his mother. She was the only person in his family that truly loved and cared for him (okay his sister did too, to an extent). His mother believed in his dreams and passions. She treated Sanji like a true human being. Losing her was devasting and made him feel more alone than he had ever felt before.

M-Mistake (what is the worst mistake they ever made with you?)

It’s very rare for Sanji to ever make any kind of mistake with you. He remembers every date, anniversary, achievement and milestone regardless of its importance. He doesn’t speak rudely to you, lash out at you or direct any sort of violence towards you.

P-Past (what has happened in your relationship that changed the way you saw each other?)

Whole Cake Island was a real game changer. So much was revealed about Sanji that he never wanted anyone to know. He was terrified you would think differently of him knowing that he was a ‘failure’ (note: you didn’t think of him differently at all). However, the part that really put a strain on your relationship was how you thought he had betrayed not only yourself, but the crew too. It really was a whole rollercoaster of emotions, but in the end the two of you were able to work through it, coming out stronger.

Q-Quality (what is their most dangerous/toxic quality?)

This man is quick to anger. Even though his reactions are usually harmless, what’s to stop him from one day completely just blowing up and doing, or saying, something to hurt those he cares about.

R-Rejection (how would they react to you rejecting their confession (or the other way around))

Of course, he would be upset if you rejected his confession, because a beautiful individual has just turned him down, but honestly, he’d just continue treating you as he always. has

S-Scars (battle or self-inflicted)

There are definitely no scars - battle-related or self-inflicted - on his body (that we know of). However, mental scars are a different story. He has plenty of those from his childhood, as do a large proportion of one piece characters.

T-Trust (have they ever broken your trust?)

Never in his life would Sanji do something to break your trust. The closest it came was the incident on Zou and Whole Cake Island, it certainly looked as if he had betrayed you and broken your trust entirely, only for you to find out it was the complete opposite.

Many people think Sanji is the type of individual to cheat in a relationship. While I can see where they are coming from with this opinion, I strongly disagree. This may be an unpopular opinion, I’m not too sure, but, Sanji would never be disloyal in a relationship. Treating women properly is such a big part of his personality to the point where it is practically embedded into his muscle memory – he acts on instinct. So of course there will be times where he’s paying a little extra attention to some lady but there is no ulterior meaning to his actions – its simply his firm belief that all women deserve to be treated and doted on as the queens they are. Additionally, during the Dressrosa arc Sanji truly believed he was in a ‘relationship’ with Viola and as soon as he knew that he was trying his absolute hardest to pay attention to Viola and only Viola. His mind did wonder off to Nami and Robin but he would scold himself for that (and feel free to correct me on this if im remembering incorrectly – it’s honestly quite possible that I’ve made this up entirely LMAO it’s been a while since I’ve read and watched the dressrosa arc).

So, let me sum up again: No. Sanji has never done anything that has broken your trust.

U-Urge (how badly do they want to see you after you guys separated?)

Oh boy, he’s practically incapable of going five minutes without seeing you. He misses you so much it’s crazy. Your presence is so soothing for him, so he gets really antsy and anxious in your absence.

V-Vicious (what do they do when they lash out on you?)

I seriously can’t see him lashing out at you at all. He would never physically lash out at you but, there may possibly be potential for him to say something harsh in the heat of the moment. It literally wouldn’t even be because of anything you’d done in particular. It’d just be a build-up of things and then you happen to be the closest person and the next person to say something, and it tips him over the edge, so he snaps. He apologizes as soon as the words leave his mouth.

W-Weak (what makes them feel weak how do they try to avoid it?)

Sanji hates, and I mean hates being unable to help those that he cares about. It’s one of the few things that makes him feel weak. He has a kind heart and is always wanting to protect those he loves, so he does everything in his power to be ready to move in an instant. He remains aware of his surroundings, and is always on guard so that he can defend and strike when the situation calls for it.

X-X-ray (what do they hate and show it most obviously?)

The most obvious object of Sanji’s hatred is Zoro, however, I wouldn’t say it’s hatred. It’s a classic rivalry that is thankfully not rooted in any true ill will.

One other thing Sanji has absolutely no tolerance for is the inappropriate or rude treatment towards women, and food. On many occasions Sanji has actually physically and verbally fought others over their treatment of women and food.

Y-Yearn (what is one thing that they want but can’t have?)

I know this is meant to be serious and super angsty but, my mind automatically went to the clear-clear devil fruit LMAO. Its canon that the clear-clear fruit is something Sanji wants but can’t have because it’s currently in use by another person. (to make up for this not angsty idea I’ll do another one).

Growing up all Sanji ever wanted was a family that loves him and treats him kindly. Sure, he had his mother (before she passed away), and to an extent he had his sister, but he never truly experienced a loving family growing up. However, the moment he met Zeff & the Baratie gang and then the Straw Hat Pirates he learnt something important: Family isn’t always blood.

Z-Zero (what do they do/say in your dying moments?)

He tears up. A lot. He’s so conflicted between wanting to spend your final moments with you but also not being able to handle that pain. Ultimately, he decides to endure, holding your hand tightly and whispering everything he’s ever wanted to say - all his dreams about your future together and how he saw that playing out etc.

Luffy:

He would notice how self depreciative you are right away

When you once joked about how you're nothing but a useless burden on the crew

He'd burst in anger at you with pure intentions ofc

"Oi (Y/N)! Why are saying bad things about yourself! When i asked you to be my nakama,I didn't ask you bcs you're strong or weak or useful or what you went through in your past, i don't care about these things, you became one of my nakamas for who you are, don't undervalue yourself Baka!!"

And then he would hug you as you cried in his arm, getting a confidence boost.

Zoro:

He finds it really strange, why would you belittle yourself, and say that you're weak

He knows that you're strong but its the matter of courage

So once during a battle you failed to fend off the opponent's attack and got saved again by Zoro

So you began mumbling about how weak and useless you are for not being able to protect yourself, and how would you manage to protect your nakams in this way

"you know its really okay to rely on me, it doesn't mean that you're weak, so stop belittling yourself, if you like, i can train you sometimes" as he strokes your hair with slight smile on his face.

Sanji:

He's aware of it and absolutely hates it

When you just randomly say self depreciating jokes about yourself

Being that ugly girl and how luck took your side once, and that Sanji deserves someone better than you

He feels bad, he doesn't want you to undervalue yourself like that

He'd shower you with compliments and affection and tells you about what makes you beautiful

He will give you wise advices such as "my darling if didn't know the value of yourself, people would be able to hurt you and low your self confidence, in my eyes you are the most beautiful woman and that's enough for me" as he kisses your forehead

Law:

Law heared you saying random self depreciating jokes about how stupid you are

And how you can't even help Law in a signle thing when it comes to treat your crew's injuries

Bcs no matter how you tried to study you don't seem to understand anything

Law is annoyed at the fact that you're belittling yourself just bcs you can't understand some parts

In fact to him you're awesome bcs you can do things he can't just like solving those Rubik's cube so quickly
