nakamura kazuha and you, two young women attending the same university, had been close friends for a while. late nights spent studying together had brought you closer, and a subtle spark of attraction had begun to flicker between you.

one evening, as the two of you sat side by side in the library, buried in textbooks and notes, a playful smile tugged at the corners of kazuha's lips. she leaned in closer, her warm breath tickling your ear.

"hey, can i borrow your highlighter?" she whispered, her voice soft and low.

you looked up from your work, meeting her mischievous gaze. "sure," you replied, reaching into your bag to retrieve the highlighter. as you handed it to her, your fingers brushed against hers, sending a jolt of electricity through your body.

"thanks," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. her eyes lingered on yours for a moment longer than necessary, a silent invitation. and in that moment, you both knew.

#MyTop5 #KpopBands

As I have mentioned before I prefer retro music over modern music but I also like Kpop So here are my favorite's of Korean music so far (because they debut like 6 bands or so in each year)

1. Is my All TIME FAVORITE band BTS. The are not a typical boy band they actually debuted as a hip hop band and their goal as a band is as the company called them an 'Artist For Healing'. Their songs are truly inspiring cause they have wrote themselves (almost all of them) and the concept speaks about MENTAL HEALTH, DEPRESSION, ABOUT SELF-LOVE etc. As the band with the most meaningful lyrics they also make songs in many music genres. They are the most popular KPOP band cause they have pawed the way for others in this music sphere.

2. LE SSARAFIM (means I'M FEARLESS) follows BTS's message about self acceptance and speaks about breaking taboo's. Their message is clear and the music itself gives chill vibes(many of their songs give's an old-school nostalgy) They latest songs from album 'UFORGIVEN' are very dance-like but doesn't have a NOISE MUSIC'S sound (which is used for many Kpop bands) giving chill but the same time upbeat mood.

3. NEWJEANS is the youngest girl group I like so far. Similar to LE SSARAFIM they bring chill mood and nostalgy in their songs but has more Rn'b sound. Their debut album sounds like they have recorded the year they actually born (early 2000's). Fan fact is that V (my bias from BTS) have made a pact with their producer in making his upcoming album.

4. Dreamcather is really one of a kind when it depends in Kpop. They have made music (just like BTS) basically in every genre however the main sound remains ROCK and METAL. When a casual listener hears them for the first time they say that Dreamcathcher sounds like an anime opening ost and I think that's pretty cool. They definetely stand out in Kpop.

5. BLACKPINK is one of the most popular girl groups in the world. Their music focuses more in Hip-hop. They are actually the first Kpop band that I started to listen.

I think vals and nctzen will have to work harder because Jaehyun will be debuting along with some pretty famous idols, such as : ZB1, Le Sserafim, Chanyeol and Baekhyun.

Judging from his competitors, it is quite difficult for Jaehyun to top the Korean charts. Not to be condescending, but what I see from the pre-release charts of dandelion and rose is still mediocre, and of all the idols who are strong opponents for Jaehyun in my opinion are baekhyun and zb1, Le Ssarafim might also be able to but they are still often hated because of the incident at coachella and the issue of them plagiarizing Red Velvet and Aespa

Well, it might be not a bad thing. The fans will be tuned in (music shows, charts) and may come across Jae's song, discover him as a soloist. Jaehyun is Hanbin's (Zb1) role model, so he will for sure advertise. Heh, Taeyong should use his friend card and ask Baekhyun to do a tiktok with his favourite dongsaeng.
