Familiarity ~ 15/02/22
The little girl just could not sleep because her thoughts were way too deep.
Her mind had gone out for a stroll and fallen down the rabbit hole.
My world smells like nostalgia these days as the rabbit hole leads me to a world of familiarity. I'm not scared of my 'coping land', I know it inside out. But I do get scared about the life that passes by above, the people that stop to say "why are you down there?"
How do I explain that the world is a scary place and when I am in it, I'm more scared of myself than I have ever been. Yet, how do I adapt to it without crushing parts of my soul.
My work life is falling apart + I'm working harder in my relationship to compensate for the guilt that I feel about not caring much these days - about anything really.
Familiarity has so much power over those that feel vulnerable and lost.
