Late Night

Pairing: Mira x Fem!Reader

Summary: Mira comes home after a long day and her girlfriend takes care of her.

It's already late when Mira gets home. You're sitting on the couch reading a book when you hear the door open and close, footsteps following soon after. 

You turn your head towards the door to see Mira taking off her jacket and scrunching her nose when she turns towards the living room and the light hits her eyes. "Are you alright?" She stops in her tracks and looks at you or rather tries to with her nearly closed eyes.

"It's just a headache.. I didn't think that you'd still be awake", even if you hadn't looked at her you'd know by now that she is exhausted. 

You get up from the couch and walk towards Mira, taking her head in your hands and stroking her cheeks with your thumbs. "You know I don't go to bed without you. Not since that one time you came back so bruised up you couldn't even go to bed without making a noise.”

A light blush covers her face when she thinks back to that day. The demons really got to her that day but she wanted to get home to you and didn't let herself get patched up by Rumi or Zoey even tho they tried to convince her.

"Yeah, I forgot... Can we just go to bed?" She opens her eyes slightly to get a proper look at you and a smile decorates her face. 

You give a short nod. "Of course", taking her hand and leading her to the bathroom. 

Slowly, you release her two braids and comb through it while she brushes her teeth, after she's finished with her sleep routine you send her to bed and take care of your own routine. 

Walking into your bedroom afterwards you see Mira laying face down in the middle of your bed, not sleeping yet but also not quite awake. 

"Do you want a massage? You look a little tense." Sitting down next to her you brush your hand along her back. She grumbles something into the pillow while nodding her head.

Sitting down right next to her, you prompt her to lay her head down on your lap. Slowly you begin combing through her hair and giving her a scalp massage. 

A content sigh leaves her lips as her whole body starts to relax into your touch. Not even ten minutes later and she's fast asleep. 

With a light smile you turn off the light and lay next to her and give her a light kiss on the forehead “Sleep well my dear..” and soon enough both of you are cuddled up and sleeping.
