The scrambling retinue making their way to the massive palace complex would find a familiar face on their journey, nearly missed with his hair down: The lord Captain of the Titan’s Requiem, curiously alone with different finery on making his way to the palace.

Rather than the usual dark robes, he was clad in a flowing white robe that was more like a cardigan with his House’s crest embroidered on the back, short sleeves going only to his elbows, leaving his jewelry covered fore arms exposed, beneath that was a similarly pale shirt and dark pants, covered in dark blue and silver patterns, shimmering in the light of candles and lamps. He still had a sword on his hip, and no doubt some other hold out weapon, but this was clearly a ceremonial outfit, of a style that wouldn’t be familiar to any other than Morgen, who could easily recognize it as a certain lost world’s aesthetic. Beneath his arm was a wooden case, lacquer shimmering much like his jewelry and simply ornamented, but clearly heavy with how much he was having to readjust it. “…Lord Inquisitor. I see you are in a hurry: who is dying?” He asks, brow furrowed as he examines the group, giving a curt, but respectful nod to Taryn.

Sorry March we can't stop to admire your crush the Rogue Trader, you'll have to ask him to make himself pretty for you again later!

Did powder go with March to terra?

... I want to say yes but I don't know where he would have fit his son in the shuttle....(and also I forgor to draw him sadly! XD) Perhaps Powder is getting babysat. By who, though, is the question... Maybe getting pets from the very anxious Astartes trying not to think about a custodes beheading their captain- XD Or he is sitting at attention ominously next to an equally ominous Kam'lin. They are judging people. >W>

This chiken has the spacial awareness of a dog! Can't even preen her in peace, she has to roll around! Smh! UnU

Yippee more Sif and the boys!! :DD Thank you! I love the idea of Naël being such a smug bastard with Sif at his side, but it is SO MUCH EFFORT behind the scenes to make it look so smooth! So many bribes and demands and waking up at 3 am with Sif on his bed even though she KNOWS she is not allowed- xD (he would never punish her but he will complain ineffectively. ;) )

I wonder what form she would take for the others... my brain says manatee for Telemon but that is so unfair. XD he would adore it though, very huggable, not a single harsh line of edge on this beast!

Imagine. You are a Custodes. You spot an Inquisitorial psyker actuvely cutting the endless line to the palace like she owns the place. And then she tells you that she is going inside to meet her beloved. You understand, from context clues, that she means your recently re-awakened, slightly unstable Emperor. No way this isn't some kind of pathetic Inquisitor's ploy to try to desperately send an assassin after the Emperor out of fear of losing their power, right?

When I say my legion is the Emperor's Children I mean pre-heresy. I mean those flamboyant repressed disasters that were so competent and yet so catastrophically inept. Seeing all of the cool as heck paintings in the Warhammer 40K tag and I'm sitting here like "I... I know how to get close to that too.... ish...." Don't let my little doodles fool you, I too know how to stare at a painting until I am sick of it and see nothing but issues! XD So who better to demonstrate that than my EC, really? :D Plus it flexes art muscles I tend to forget, because stuff like this takes me 4 hours to make, as opposed to my usual 15 minutes doodles. XD
