It was strange to enter the paddock just to watch instead of race, and it was wonderful to wake up at the time I wanted. Carlos had woken up early and left, so I showered comfortably and got ready. After my make-up was done, I took my bag and left my hotel room and then the hotel and got into the car that would take me to the track. The journey took longer than I thought, as did the paddock walk...

When I arrived at the hospitality, I greeted the staff outside and went into Carlos' driver's room. His back was to me, he had just showered and was wearing his T-shirt.

"Wow, look at the view," I said with a grin.

"Welcome back, sweetheart," he said as he hugged me back. After putting my bag aside, I sat on the red sofa and put my legs on the coffee table.

"Do you think there's a chance?" I asked, wondering if he could win.

"I'm starting from the third row, I think there's definitely a chance. Don't you think so?"

"I think you'll win the race," I said, smiling. Before he left the room for the race, I told him how much I loved him. It didn't matter if he won or not, he just had to come back home in one piece. Back to me. After two hours of racing, he stood at the top of the podium with a grin on his face and the first place trophy in his hand, waving to me and the team, making tifosi proud.

They played both the anthem of Spain and the anthem of Italy. I ran into his arms with my hands red from clapping and my face red from crying. As I was hugging him tightly, there was a whole team running behind us. As they all hugged him and congratulated him, the team boss shouted for a photo. Carlos and I took a picture of us grinning and holding his trophy. He was definitely going to put it in the trophy room at home...

I said, "Let's take one more photo." I said, "Come on, everybody, let's take one more photo with everyone in the team." I said smiling. All the employees, engineers, people working in Pr, everyone you can think of came. Seconds before the photo was taken, I showed the camera the black and white photo in my pocket and grinned. When Carlos got his phone back, he looked at how we looked in the photos.

"Wait a minute, this is..." He squinted as he zoomed in on the paper on the screen. "This ultrasound..." He looked up at me, his mouth opening and closing in shock.

"Yeah," I said, grinning.

"Are you serious? You're not kidding, are you? Because if it's a joke-" I kissed him and interrupted him.

"It's not a joke. Everything is very real. We're going to have a baby." I said with a smile, he pulled me to him and hugged me tightly and started kissing my face with joy. When he kissed my nose, I giggled and ruffled his hair.

"So a little Sainz is coming into the family?" he said with a grin.

"Yes, a little Sainz."

“Thank you, thank you so much. I'm with you no matter what happens, no matter what we go through, for you, for our baby." he said with tears in his eyes. I hugged him tighter as I wiped my tears.

"Shut up or I'm going to start crying out loud right now," I said as I reached up to kiss him. I was happy, it was hard to believe but I was happy. I was going to have a baby, I had found the love of my life. I’m having his baby…

"I love you."

"I love you too, cariño." A little Sainz was coming into the family... Mateo Sainz...

"Annabelle Bronie is back! Last week Bronie announced her move to the Red Bull team and also shared that her contract is for two years. Sergio Perez also suddenly announced his retirement, do you think it's time Will?" said the reporter as Annabelle was leaving another meeting. She had just signed a two-year contract. All her friends had texted and called to congratulate her, everyone was happy. A lot happened in two years, Annabelle won eight races, the 2022 Miami-Monaco-Azerbaijan-Japan GP and the 2023 Spain-Las Vegas-Austria-Italy GP. She displayed her trophies at home and added other trophies and medals. Then she left Monaco and moved in with Carlos. Spain was hot, like a tropical vacation after long working hours. It was restful, calming, it was supposed to be. But it was nowhere near sedative, every day she struggled to get out of bed. She didn't want to travel anymore, she wanted to stay at home, do housework like normal people. Formula was her childhood dream, she had broken records, won medals and she was tired. Her body couldn't take it anymore, she wanted to rest, she wanted to have free days to relax, but even the free days she spent in the gym. For the 2024 season she didn't renew her contract, now she had a reason. She stood in front of the camera and said: "Hello, I am here to announce my retirement at the end of the 2023 season. Many thanks to everyone who has supported me during my years in this sport. Thank you to my family, my sponsors. See you at the Singapore Grand Prix..." Time passed quickly, the 2023 season was over in the blink of an eye. After the winter break, Carlos returned to the races and Annabelle began to spend her time in her new home in Spain…

Charlotte. She's the only one of Charles' lovers I get along with.

She get over him well, even though they had only been dating for a short time. Charles went back to Alexandra at the end of the day, but Charlotte was fine. She always said that Charles was addicted to Alexandra. It was like a spell had been cast. When I thought about it, it didn't feel like I was really in love with him. It was just a huge obsession because I wanted him and I didn't get him and that made my obsession with him even bigger. And everyone around me encouraged me, no one told me to stop. Nobody said it was unhealthy. No one noticed, including me. Soon after Charlotte and Charles broke up, Charlotte and I became friends. She was really sweet, loving and understanding. She was a real angel, even though she warned me many times, I didn't come to my senses.

I couldn't let go of my obsession. Maybe I didn't want to let go. I got out of the car, handed the keys to the valet and entered the famous café in Monaco. The girls had already taken the table we had reserved. We had been seeing more of each other since I was sent away from the team, and this time Charlotte was there instead of Alexandra. Charlotte had been working on a big architecture project and hadn't been able to leave the house much lately. To be honest, we could hardly convince her. The others were either busy or had prior commitments. Me... well, unless your ultra-handsome boyfriend was halfway around the world for a race and gave you a reason to spend the whole day at home, you stayed home. While I was out, he went to the gym because he didn't want to stay home all by himself.

"Hi," I said as I hugged each of them. We quickly ordered some coffee and dessert and started talking.

"How's it going with Carlos?" Kika asked with a grin. I was just wondering when they were going to start interrogating me.

"It's going well, everything is fine," I said before taking a sip of my coffee. But they kept on grinning. "What?" I asked.

"I never thought you guys would be boyfriend and girlfriend, it's really not an idea any of us would have thought of. But you're cute," Charlotte said, smiling back. "How's the sex?" she said, grinning.

"Hey! I'm not going to share my boyfriend's privacy with you!" I said in embarrassment, my cheeks were already getting red.

"Oh, come on! I'm sure your sex is great." She said as she continued to grin. My face was now the color of a tomato. I grunted and rubbed my face.

"Yeah, it's perfect. In fact, it's beyond perfect. Are you happy now?" I said as I looked at them nervously.

"Are you happy? With Carlos?" Charlotte asked. I smiled and nodded.

"More than I've ever been..." An hour later I was back home, I left the shopping bags in the doorway and went to the living room. Carlos hadn't come back from the gym yet, so I changed my clothes, took the makeup off my face and lay down on the sofa in the living room. I was strangely tired, I wanted to sit in front of the TV all day...

Then Carlos came in, put his bag down and put his shoes aside.

"Welcome," I said from the living room. But he quickly came over and picked me up and carried me by the hips to the bedroom.

"I didn't do any cardio today, can you help me?" he said as he laid me on the bed. I grinned and nodded.

"Aren't you tired? As far as I know, people coming back from gym are tired."

"Ha ha ha I'm not tired at all. On the contrary, I took a cold shower after my workout and I'm very hungry..."
