transphobes want us to be financially dependent so were forced to detransition because of our situation, they want us to be physically smaller so we arent threatening and wont stick up for ourselves, they want us to hate ourselves and destroy our mental health so they can throw hospitalization and suicide rates in our face without giving a shit about the circumstances that lead to these rates, they want us to be homeless to serve as an example of what happens when you try to be yourself without permission
self sabotage isnt an option. self preservation is trans livelihood, is being somebody for another trans person to see and not feel alone, is being someone who will be there for and understand other people in the community, is showing people that their piece of shit employment and housing discrimination, manipulation, stalking, violence and coercion tactics will not stick under any circumstances. it is not assimilation, it is creating ground to stand on, it is taking an inch to make a mile.
