I think you fundamentally have to understand the cars from cars (2006) as furries. Questions about anatomy or how they function realistically doesn’t matter. They are human people telling a human story with abstracted, anthropomorphized car bodies. Them being cars is incidental. I would say it is more a furry movie than zootopia is, in which you fundamentally have to understand these anthropomorphized animals as, on some level, functioning like the real life animals they represent.
speaking of cars as furries is the deleted cars scene where lighting and mcqueen swapped bodies and he seductively pumps out oil while screaming a kind of furry forcefemme or was it just weird we all felt a bit horny towards that deleted scene
I have developed a new theory that helps me a lot: you have a real life, and it's your job to return to it mentally once in a while. Reddit (especially), Tumblr, Twitter, YT, or whatever else are not real life and can't hold you hostage.
I've lost cohesion with real life because of Reddit and, for some time, put platforms like Reddit above everything else as if it's integral to me, resulting in cognitive and mental health issues. It is just that attractive because it has everything and presents itself almost as an alternative to reality. I am slowly healing from this and developing safeguards from this.
I was walking on a rather remote beach when I came upon this Whip eel drying up in the sun. These are intertidal eels that can actually handle themselves out of water for a bit, but it’s not normal for them to be fully exposed in direct sunlight like this. The tide was at least six hours from coming in and I felt like this eel was in distress, so I made the decision to dig him out and return to the ocean. His body was too delicate to be simply pulled from the hole without injury, so I got to digging.
This endeavor took about 40 minutes as the eel was quite long and difficult to excavate. Also had to continually refill my temporary eel pond to keep him from drying out entirely while I worked.
If you are an eel aficionado like myself, please enjoy this silly little video of the relocation process set to some jaunty royalty-free disco music.
