I'm in the camp that the common kdrama trope of the leads somehow being connected when they were kids was very overdone and getting bored - but I will say that this new theme of teen romance / teen crushes finding each other as adults and falling in love again is becoming my new favourite thing.

It's probably an old trope that I just hadn't seen but it's making me very happy.

Jeong Gu-won accidentally becoming the leader of a mob crew has to be one of my favourite bits of My Demon.

So I know I'm a little bit behind on my dramas but after this scene in My Demon

I saw a few of the theories, past lives and what not, and all I could think about was my favourite scene in any movie ever:

This past life fight scene in The Mummy Returns is iconic and on repeat in my head constantly.

As much as it was obviously going to happen, I loved Madam Ju so much that I really wanted her to stick around.

My Demon is very quickly moving onto my 'I'm so glad I started this' list - I missed loving a show so much my mind filled with theories ✨️

I haven't been able to watch a lot of series lately but what I've been finding is that the drama's I've picked up on a whim have ended up being some of my favourites.

I started the first episode of My Demom today after seeing some funny edits and I'm immediately obsessed. It's giving me Doom at Your Service vibes which is only making me love it even more.

My only regret is picking it up with only two episodes out.

It's been super funny watching all the reactions to Only Friends since it started, I've been putting off watching it since I was writing exams now I'm thinking I might stay away completely solely for my mental and emotional wellbeing.

I've just started watching Kiss Sixth Sense for the first time (on ep. 5) and every single time Lee Pilyo opens his mouth I want to punch him.

It's like him and Jiyoung are fighting for the biggest red flag of the series award.

I'm three minutes in to the first episode of Bed Friends, the title card comes up, the first thought on my mind?

"That's the Wattpad colour lol."

That last bit of the Cutie Pie 2 special episode has just 100% further confirmed for me that Zee has a body worship kink.

Like I understand sponsorships changing and everything but I'm gonna be salty about it for a long time.

I love that the Love in the Air Special Episode was basically just a compilation of LITA fanfics I've been binge reading lately lol

How my day is going:

I finally decided to start watching Love in the Air. I started the first episode on YouTube this morning. I got through part 1 and part 2 and then I was interrupted. It is now night time.

I have had that last scene from part 2 of the first episode stuck in my head for hours and I might not even be able to finish the episode tonight.

Pain.

Whatever sanity was left in my tiny little brain was just destroyed by the incredibly intimate bath nivea advert in Vice Versa.

I will never be the same again.

I was really hoping to love this finale but honestly I'm disappointed.

So much of the series was spent telling us that Porsche does not like the mafia. He knew what it had done to his family and he hated seeing that violence, hated having to become a part of that violence to protect his brother.

The entire moment at the end reinforces this, Porsche doesn't care about the minor family, he doesn't care about the main family, he only cares about Kinn.

So in an entire series of it being heavily established that Porsche is not a fan of the mafia to then end it with him becoming the head of the minor family? It just felt so out of character.

The pool scene was one of the most anticipated scenes in like the entirety of KinnPorsche and wow did they deliver, but I just wanna through out some extra appreciation for the blocking in the scene. The entire time Porsche was sitting next to the pool and him sliding in, his crotch was blocked somehow and it was always done so smoothly. They really must've practiced it to get it so perfectly seamless and it paid off.
